At be slightly cheaper, but no better than Tiger"

Cons: "Once In London, we were told by British Airways that was flying us to Nice that Delta had “lost” our infant electronic ticket - It took 1.5h to get new ticket reissued! We missed our connection and had to wait 3 more hours for the next flight - We were somewhat lucky as multiple flights were delayed/cancelled that day - I will avoid using Virgin Atlantic in the future as they need Delta and British operate their flights and this makes it prone to issues like that"

We were checking in with our infant daughter and it took 50 minutes to check in with a senior person helping the check in person and phone calls to their technical assistance. We were told an infant is difficult in their system, and our dual national daughter was another layer of complication."

Cons: "The regular seats were so lacking in leg room that I could not cross my legs, reach the floor to get my glasses when I dropped them, or even get my carry-on out. There is no way to get into the "brace for impact position" with arms over your head and head in your lap! This is really unsafe, not to mention really uncomfortable. The flight was long, so comfort would be nice! Our first flight was regular seats and I was pretty miserable and I am a slender woman 5'6". The extra 3" was great, and we had to pay more on the return trip. The FAA should be investigating seat size and safety on planes."

Pros: "I felt that they were very thoughtful about the fact that it was a long flight. We got two small meals, which was perfect, and even a little gift bag with a sleep mask and toothbrush and such in it. These were just a couple of the many nice touches included in the flight."
Cons: "Very small quibble: the screen resolution, or maybe the contrast, of the personal video players was not so great. This was fine in most cases, but it meant I could not watch videos that had subtitles. Not a big deal but possibly worth fixing. Thanks"

It was incredible frustrating and could have very easily been avoided with communication from the airlines"

Turning the seat into a lay flat bed (and returning it seat at the end of the flight) takes some effort--not the simplest of processes. I'm not tall, but my feet protruded into the aisle so I was being disturbed whilst sleeping. Seat is also quite narrow--feels quite claustrophobic when sleeping."

After calling the helpline I was informed that it is impossible to change the seat after checking in until I am at the airport. No other airline has such an obscure, in efficient rule. Virgin takes pride in being a step above their competition - I didn't see it. I have flown international on Delta, American Airlines, British Airlines, United, and others and any difference in the experience was negligible."

Had to buy clothes and toiletries at Walmart. The next morning I received I call to say my luggage had arrived. I went to the airport and indeed it had arrived and for some reason it was returned to Atlanta. After endless calls and conversations I got my luggage that evening. It was very inconveniencing. Worst experience of my life. Never again."
