Food, service and the boarding/offloading aspects were great. Our only issue were the seats we booked in the exit row because it was next to the bathroom so we were interrupted all night by people waiting for and then opening and closing the door to use the facilities. Would have fine for a day flight but not so much for an overnighter.
Everything was simple and easy. The lady at the gate was super friendly, I wish I had her name to share. She's a little older, dark-haired. You can tell she likes her job and would be a great influence on any young people training with her.
From my experience, I see there is room for a greater mixture of cultures, for example, a mix of the nationality of cabin crews, food, music, food, etc.
on time quick service but food so so and seats very small. no leg room. I think passengers should not be bringing so large carry on suitcases and should have free check in. Then boarding and unloading would be faster
After nearly nine years without traveling, my son and I decided to take our first flight, and we chose Air Canada and I’m so glad we did! From start to finish, our experience was nothing short of amazing. The flight itself was smooth, comfortable, and truly enjoyable. The staff were warm, professional, and went above and beyond to make us feel at ease. But what really stood out for me was the luggage tracking feature. Knowing that my bag was scanned onto the same flight I was on gave me such peace of mind. It’s little details like this that make all the difference, especially after not traveling for so long. This trip was incredibly special for us, and Air Canada made it even more memorable. Thank you for such a fantastic experience I wouldn’t hesitate to fly with you again!
The speaker flight attendant talked over was way too loud. Hurt my ears -had to take out hearing aids.
The plane doesn't have any screens, so it was impossible to watch a movie
Was good all around. Crew, food, paid for extra legroom, as 10+ hour flight Like the 787 as I don't have any problem with my ears, due to the planes pressurization.
5-hour trip with just water and one cookie is not great: fruits and cheese,, salads, protein smoothie... It could be small but nourrishing No screen and no outlet to connect our electronic devices. If there were ,It would have been nice to be informed. Every instruction given in french by the agent on the plane was pronounced so quickly that despite french is my 1st language, I could not understand the instructions. Too fast, no intonation, no space between words. Most of the time, the english versions (my 2nd language) were fast but with breathing between words, good intonation and the information was much easier to understand.
Overall the new aircraft’s is good and crew is good. Just overall airline policies and process needs to be better.
