My poor rating was because the luggage handling was really poor. Lots of flights from Paris to Amsterdam (almost hourly), but my bag showed up 12 hours later. My wife's bag took 36 hours. And yes, we checked in together. There were lots of confusing messages"

I was told when I booked the seat that the headphones would be complementary. So I did not bother to bring any assuming they were going to keep their word; I figure I'd make it work and watch a movie without sound. If that isn't bad enough midway through my nine hour flight my monitor went out and would not turn back on."

I was flying with a child and the only thing they gave us was good voucher for around 5 pounds each not even enough for a decent meal. They said because we didn't have a visa we couldnt leave the terminal they couldn't accommodate us outside the airport and the hotel inside the airport was fully booked. Spent the night in the airport in terrible seats were you couldn't even lie down, no sleep at all. Then the morning flight was delayed 3 hours. Got, finally to Spain and one luggage was missing. Overall a nightmare! Never again I will fly with Aeroflot!"

Loved the view from the front camera that I could get through the entertainment system. Wonderful selection of entertainment options. No bull* about charging people for the headphones or the movies. And everyone got a pillow, a blanket, slippers and a sleep mask. Lovely!"

But taking off wouldn't have been a viable option. :) Actually, it wasn't that long for the thunderstorms, but something very heavy fell on the top of the plane while we were waiting. Maybe a bowling ball? I was torn between wanting to get off the ground, and being terrified that they would take off without checking out whatever the heck that sound was. Apparently, they did check it out. We pulled over to a maintenance spot and sat there for a while before we took off. If there was anything I didn't like about the flight, it was that there was no announcement about what had happened and what they were doing about it. But I'm nosey."

Also, our vegan that we requested via American Airlines on the phone back in September didn't appear on their list, so they made the best out of a bad situation."

The check-in staff were completely rude, telling us to run and threatening to not let us on the plane. It was not our fault the plane left late from BCN to LHR. Once we were actually let on the plane, we didn't push back from the gate until 5-10 minutes after the scheduled departure time. There was absolutely no reason to have treated us that way, so we promptly submitted a complaint to British Airways."

This caused a real scene with nearly one hundred people standing around the check-in counter waiting to put their bags on the conveyor belts. The flight, which was delayed multiple times--once due to the ground personnel at Orly not turning in the paperwork for the flight--eventually took off, but the cabin crew seemed confused the whole time. We asked for Landing Cards, but they told us we did not need them, when in fact we did. That extra delay at immigration caused us to miss our connecting flight! Since half of the plane was connecting in Heathrow, why didn't the crew suggest that those staying in London wait on the plane until the connectors had a chance to disembark?"

They said throw them away or you have to stay in Portugal and can’t go to Madrid. We missed our connecting flight. Worst flying experience I’ve ever had! No one was apologetic."

Cons: "Cabin crew are not very warming or hospitable feel like they are just doing their job rather than offering customer service which should be high on any airlines priorities when people are 33 000 ft away from comfort"

Cons: "Did not like the 60 EUR charge if you have a carryon and a personal item. Seems like both could fit fine. This is a putative charge compared to the the flight cost. Prefer they allow both and just charge a higher fee per person for the trip or make the extra charge extremely clear when booking. That said because Portugal was playing in the World Cup the attendant let us go without a charge that day."

Cons: "Our flight was delayed due to French ATC - not much Easyjet can do about that. Then boarding was delayed for an additional 30 mins while we waited outside the terminal. Then we lost our slot because of the delay in boarding. Then we had to wait in the destination airport for another 15 mins for a gate to disembark at. Overall, a frustrating journey but what is only a 50 min flight."

Cons: "I sat in seat 1A, near the door, and froze. Changed seats with a lady so she could be with her children. I originally had seat 1D. I am surprised you charge extra for that seat. If one of the children would have sat in seat 1A I am sure they would be sick with a cold in a few days."

Cons: "Boarding was a disaster. We just stood in line like sardines for an hour. The other issue was bags. They wouldn't let me buy bag vouchers online because I had checked in. Something they don't tell you until after and wouldn't even let me buy for my return flight a week away. So I had to pay 200 euros extra for bags (more than 1/4 of my flight cost.) plus Emirates, my first flight said the bags were free because international travel. It is a failing of kayak not to fix this issue and I regret using this service. Either kayak needs to figure out a way to warn you or they should cancel using this rude, incompetent airline."

Pros: "I loved the service this time around, although Im not normally the biggest fan. Also the boarding was very quick and considering planes were struggling in and out of France, glad we were able to fly at all."

Cons: "Deceptive and evasive baggage policy. Was prepared to and paid for bags in advance but no warning was given ot option to pay for a small personal item along with my cary on (hand luggage). Checked in and checked one bag at the airport, of course they didnt say anything, then when in line to board all of the sudden I'm a criminal because I have a carry on and a small personal item. They have no xtra baggage fee for a purse sized item, then threatened me "well the flight is full" nothing mire than scam artists."

Pros: "Some English speaking/understanding Crew available in Italy to help you through the process."
Cons: "It's important to pay for Hold Luggage (checked bags) prior to arriving at the airport. It isn't easy to do once you've checked-in online, so take your time in this process as it could save you an upwards of 35 euros for 2 bags. Boarding process is bizzare, if you don't pay for Express Boarding, you should get in line early! Our experience with passengers onboard was unique- no one cares about what you've stored overhead so keep an eye on your belongings if you have anything fragile. EVERYONE brings suitcases onboard it seems. Confusing announcements once in flight, sounded like a beverage service was on its way but never did. Not even water. Flight attendants walked up and down the isle looking for UNICEF donations. No entertainment except for traveler watching. Ultimately we got to our desitation and that is what mattered. Everything else was just a head scratcher."

Cons: "They made me check one of my US sized carry-ons for 44€ but their overhead bins are the same as flights in the US so it would have fit just fine. Also, loaded us on to a bus with no heat and say in the freezing cold for 40 minutes prior to taking us to the plane to board."
