Ít’s a terrible experience with Jetstar!

Agent at the counter gave us headache just because she request information that is not necessary. I had to run more than one hour from counter to counter and it near the boarding time and until when I asked another agent, she said that I don’t need that information for my flight. Thanks God! I think She has poor training

We waited 45 minutes for a passenger that was late.. Since when did a plain full of two hundred people wait for one idiot that couldn't make it there on time. He arrives, we begin to push back. Captain announcement, "We have been requested to go back to the gate, unsure as to why". We get back, turns out the first officer has exceeded his flying hours. I sincerely hope I never end up on a Jetstar flight ever again.

Customer service and ticket counter staff pleasant--that's it. Everything else disappointing -- will not fly them again -- Air New Zealand or Quantas only; don't know about United Emirates; paid $100 for baggage greater than 7K on international travel -- only $50 for domestic travel -- beware!! Must get luggage allowance on line at least 4 hours in advance of departure. Seats are tighter than any U.S. carrier including Spirit and Frontier. Kayak should somehow warn passengers unfamiliar with Jetstar airlines policy!!!

Cheap price

Very little leg room. The bottom of each seat back was just one layer of (fake) leather: I could constantly feel the knees of the person behind me hitting my posterior. I've never seen a seat configuration like this before. Other things were expected for a low coster: checked-in bags cost money, there is no free food and even coffee is for sale. But paper thin seats were not.

Efficient boarding.

NO legroom in standard seats. I'm 6' tall and my knees touched the seat in front of me when seated all the way back in the seat. Closest spaced seating I've seen on an airline.

Nothing to like about this flight.

We were charged $320 for 2 bags. We had no idea we had to buy a ticket for our luggage that cost more than our own tickets... We checked in 2:30 hour prior and were told if 3:00 hours prior we would have been able to buy luggage ticket for a lot less... but it could not be done from the airport anyway... one excuse after another... terrible service. Staff unwilling to help and it was a long wait at the counter as well because they did not want to deal with our bags. What kind of business is this? How more ridiculous can it get? We were told it is low cost... well, so is the staff as it seems they are equally unhappy. Unacceptable.

I didn't like that there were many hidden costs. You don't even get a soft drink without paying for it. The usual practice for international travel is to allow one checked bag free, not so with Jetstar. We booked the ticket because of the cost and it ended up costing more than if we would have booked on a better airline like Air New Zealand.

Prices are per person, are for e–tickets and include all taxes & fees in GBP.

We attempt to get accurate prices, however, prices are not guaranteed.

Here's why:

We’re not the seller
At KAYAK we don’t set prices, so it’s not possible for us to guarantee what other companies are selling.

We aggregate tons of data for you
Our service lets you quickly and easily compare results from hundreds of travel sites at once. In this sense, KAYAK is a search engine and we don't guarantee prices we find.

Why aren’t prices accurate 100% of the time?
Prices on airline seats, hotel rooms and car hires can change frequently. Several people may also be trying to buy the same travel option simultaneously. As a result, you may find on occasion that certain prices are no longer available.

More questions or if you have a bad price to report to us
