Service was great! I continued to have problems with my room key in the elevator.
Staff was great Several parties (wedding, birthday, etc) had way too many people in each room and in other parts of hotel. Shouldnt allow but so many people in a room....
The staff knows you well and gives you a very close approach, this way they help you and lot's of times gives you good directions. Friday and Saturday the lobby becomes a Club and sometimes the sound is too loud even in the elevators.
Amazingly appointed rooms, amazing decoration, posh furnishings, overall an amazing experience.
The Ghostbar! It was hottt! People keep to themselves though. I loved the roof top pool as well but at first it's a little awkward when people are just staring at you when you first come in because it is rather small. A rude girl named Jennifer that works at the desk. She hung up on me without saying at least a thank you. I had called about revising my statement because a pending transaction was showing on my bank card and I wanted clarification. I called her back right away and told her she was very rude.
was impressed with service and location... I didnt like was when we arrived at 5:30 and our rooms werent ready until 6! I paid good miney for this hotel and should not have to wait....on the confirmation it says hotel check in at 3! not 6!!!...what can kayak or crescent do for me? i would love to stay again but that put a big "?" to stay again....

Location was great for attending a concert at the AAC. The shuttle driver was fast n friendly. All staff for that matter were friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was less than you'd expect for the price, but they do serve omlettes cooked to order, and overall good. The spacious room was nice to have. I didn't feel crowded. The parking garage was great being able to park on the same level as your room so your vehicle is never more than 60 seconds away from you. Gave facilities 4 stars for parking garage. The hotel definitely looked better in pictures on the website. Upon entering our room, we quickly realized it had the appearance of a Days Inn with the Hyatt name on it. The walls showed several places of patchwork and poor painting. The window was old and you couldn't see very well out of it. We did not shower there. The bathroom/tub were not very appealing. It was dirty under the couch cushions. The ceiling where the a/c vent was at was covered in a nice dark grey shade of dirt and dust that had been accumulating there for who knows how long. The sheets were pretty rough. With taxes and fees being $28, parking being $15, totalling $242 for one night was very far from worth it. The room served it's purpose, but I would have rather paid $100 more for a nicer hotel if I had known this would be my experience.
The staff was great rooms very clean. We will return when we are in town for a mavs game it's right across from the American Airlines center... Price was ok could have been a better value
Great location in downtown Dallas, close to the AAC and museums. Our room had some problems with the AC. No offer to move or discount the room.
Location, close to American Airlines Arena Able to check in early Everything under construction. No bar/restaurant and no notification upon booking. Walls were thin as paper, could hear everything, even outside traffic. Were booked in a wheelchair accessible room (not a problem) but the shower head was unable to actually hold the position needed to shower, instead it just pointed at the wall. Bed was lumpy and awful.

My 2 daughters and I stayed at the hotel on a very busy Dallas weekend. We were greeted with Sprinkles cupcakes at the reg. desk to celebrate a big football game being played that weekend. The beginning of a great weekend. \n\nThe club level floor was large and worked perfectly for an extra roll-away bed. The bathroom was huge. The club level lounge had superb snacks. We also ate at Fearings on the lobby level. Though difficult to get a reservation on the busy weekend, we camped out hoping for a cancellation and were lucky to nab a table. The food was tremendous -- the chef was previously at the Mansion across town. Expensive, but well worth the price.\n\nThe hotel is only 10 minutes from Northpark Mall, as well as other shopping areas.\n\nOur stay was great. We'll definitely return!\n\n
Our stay at the Ritz Carlton in Dallas has been ruined. Everyday, when we go into the club level, we have been appalled by the lack of enforcement of the dress code and the noise level in the club room. For example, no shoes, half naked men and women in bathrobes, men, women, and children in pajamas and dirty socks with no shoes, and today was the icing on the cake which has ruined our stay and will result in our early departure. There are a group of loud, obnoxious, rude, and inconsiderate heathens in the club room watching a football game (3:30pm CST) we asked the attendant to address the noise issue and she instead walked over and told the group that she was sorry to disturb them, but that we had complained and pointed us out. That resulted in them bullying us out of the club level room. We have been staying at Ritz Carlton properties for twenty years and we have never experienced this level of unsatisfactory service. We stayed on Concierge floor with the Club lounge which includes all the alcohol and light food throughout the day. It is worth the extra money to stay on this floor. We did a package that included a three course meal at Fearings which was the highlight of our evening along with having champagne and chocolate covered strawberries delivered to the room at just the perfect time which was while we were out at the pool. The pool isn't big but the staff at the pool is very attentive if you need anything.
