Cons: The flight attendants were not very nice. Seemed to not want to be there. Service was nearly not existent.

Pros: The crew on the plane was very professional and helpful, even with other passengers that weren’t very courteous.

Cons: There was only one person checking people in, which was not enough to move things along. There was also confusion over whether bags had to be checked or not, with one person giving us tags but then no one looking at the tags prior to boarding. The whole check in process seemed poorly organized.

Pros: Loved the retrofitting work done on the 777-200 for atmosphere and head room. The flight crew were among the most accommodating I’ve experienced.

Cons: Hanging flown on several wide bodied aircraft, it’s been my experience that the A330 has a much better coach experience than the 777 aircraft models. For me, it’s a matter of legroom. Fortunately, I didn’t have anyone next to me on the flight and was able to spread out a bit (I’m 6’5”!!) My only other complaint was that while this was booked as an Iberia flight, the flights were all serviced by American Airlines. Check-in, seat selection were all handled by American. It was a little confusing in the online check-in process, because for months, the AA app wouldn’t recognize anything but the return legs of the trip using the record locator provided by Expedia.

Pros: These ladies work hard on this plane. They were checking on you and serving food or drink every hour. Always polite and accommodating. The seats are very comfortable and roomy. Great selection of entertainment. I would highly recommend.

Cons: Had wait in line for more than 1.5 hours to check in (no self-serve kiosk) and then conform to the 10kg carry-on (both backpack and suitcase) rule which didn't happen on the first flight. The staff are rude and unhelpful and the whole process of dealing with Norwegian is confusing.

Cons: Aer Lingus webpage is terrible. Kayak’s is excellent, but I tried to change seats, it would not let me.

Pros: We had a long delay that the crew did their best to mitigate while still on the ground in Heathrow, and the Captain invited children to come up and tour the cockpit while we waited! Things like that alleviate any anger and frustration we may have had, and the flight was excellent overall.

No nonsense staff who had all connecting flight info on hand when we arrived in Abu Dhabi. KLM staff were friendly and efficient. Fabulous airline.

Cons: We were not able to board the plane. We left our morning flight from Madrid on time and arrived as expected. We hurried through the airport and went exactly where we were directed. Despite this, the gates closed on us while we were running to the gate. TAP sold us a service they could not provide.

Pros: The in flight snack was surprisingly diverse and tasty.

Cons: We had to take a bus from the gate to the plane, which is fine. But we stood on the bus at the gate for 10 minutes after it was completely full before it finally drove to the plane. Then when we were just outside the plane we had to wait again for several minutes before they would let us off.

Cons: The airline staff closed the gate and would not let all passengers board, causing over 30 to have to be rebooked on flights the next day.
