The check-in staff were completely rude, telling us to run and threatening to not let us on the plane. It was not our fault the plane left late from BCN to LHR. Once we were actually let on the plane, we didn't push back from the gate until 5-10 minutes after the scheduled departure time. There was absolutely no reason to have treated us that way, so we promptly submitted a complaint to British Airways."

I felt VERY taken care of/- I was just one row after the business class with the wall ahead on right side of plane, nice leg room and a nice seat mate I am happy for the chance to respond as I was happy I had decided for the upgrade------------even though I had purchased an upgrade for my flight over to Barcelona only to find out on the day of check in that my flight was cancelled----- but that is when I called British Air and a lovely representative named Beth Duncan spent over 2 hours on the phone with me---- finally getting me on Iberia in order to get to my family reunion------ So....... on two occasions during this trip to my sister's house British Air was just wonderful and I thank you very much------- at the end of our flight one of the men made arrangements for me to get to go upstairs and look at the upper deck as I had never done that before------- as as retired teacher that was fun to see Thank you so much!!!"

Finally, at 0630 we finished and then had to deal with the fiasco at passport control which was likely worse. You need to have more agents or kiosks so that people can print their own damn boarding passes. Get modernized! Stop being deliberately obstinate! Further, to charge passengers for coffee and poor snacks is abominable! No frills? Yeah, you can take that to the bank!!"

The on-line Seating Selection is also unreliable, I was seated next to an empty seat which had been showing to be unavailable on-line! A response to my query which I sent to Blue Air arrived when I was in the air on the flight! It only repeated the baggage section of the Confitions document! Thank goodness for the excellent airport check-in staff and the Flight Crew!"

Their welcome is sincere and the warmth of their hospitality is maintained throughout the flight, as it is with many of their colleagues. I ordered hot food which was not anything beyond OK - but it was as expected, and promptly served on the short flight. The variety of drinks and snacks is good, and the offers on boutique products is worth a look. The flight was comfortable and on time."
Cons: "It seems that fairly regularly the overall experience is marred by inconsistent levels of service by the support services at Luton Aiport (which I believe is run by Menzies). Over several occasions I have waited some time for steps to arrive, and yesterday, it was the availability of coaches to take the passengers to the terminal building. It is as if there is a breakdown in the overall organisation, which is not directly the fault of Easyjet - but being their home base, over which you would expect that Easyjet could exert some influence. The delay was not severe on this occasion, but just takes the edge off an otherwise pleasurable experience."

When we board at 6:40 we are told we are not taking off until 7:30a, (why did we even board then?) And then when the plane is nearly on the runway to take off, one of the crew members decides to mention she is sick so we have to turn back. Two points here: 1. If you are sick, why didn't you call in? 2. from 6:40 - 7:30am you did not know you were sick?? You wait until we get on the runway, after we finally get a spot in the Que? So then we get back to the gate, take a good 10- 15 mins for her to walk off and a new cabin crew to come on (not to mention she looked fine walking off, i mean she was probably sick but sick to bring the plane back from the runway - not so sure). Following this, apparently the plane needed re-fueling because we went to the runway and back. Now this is a bit worrying. The fact that we just went to the runway and back and the aircraft needed more fuel. What if we had to wait in the air for additional minutes for air traffic would we run out? just a thought.. Ok well all this happened. And then guess what - we have to wait another 45 mins in the que for take off! At this point it was very clear i was going to miss my meeting given it was already 9am. After all this a passenger sitting next to me asked if we can at least get a complimentary coffee or tea, which initially he received a NO because the flight has to be delayed a MINIMUM of 3 hrs before we can get that. He had to raise a fuss, for them to say ok we will ask the captain, the opp team, the air traffic control (FOR COFFEE OR TEA!!?) . Overall horrible experience, and i missed a a very important meeting. Will be reconsidering my airline choice in the future."

Cons: "People were called to the gate according to original departure time, although the flight was delayed (this info was give via loudspeakers.) I for one had to rush from a coffee shop, thinking that we are now boarding. Instead I had to stand up for 45 min (no seats in the corridor) to get into a boarding area, just to continue standing as all the seats were taken - I wasn't the only one, there were mothers with small children who couldn't find a seat either. Temperature was about 30 oC. Suggestions: 1. Don't alert people too early. 2. Offer water when temperature is so high and wait so long. 3. Ask young men playing games on they smartphones to give up their seats to those who have difficulty standing up."

Add all this to the saga that was the outband flight and you’ll understand why the whole plane burst into laughter when the crew announced “welcome to Gatwick, apolagies for the delay, and we look forward to flying with you again”. Shocking service! Never again!"
