Felt like I was at a carnival as they were selling for much of the flight (snacks, drinks, catalog sales, etc). I never checked luggage, but it would not have been an inexpensive flight if I had to check my bag. Also, you MUST check in online or there is another big fee.

One of the staff in the terminal was friendly and showed us how to weigh our bags and collect the bag tag.

Forced to check in online or face a charge. Paid €45 Euros per bag to check in. For Americans traveling between outside countries, Ryan Air has a small area on the boarding pass regarding the "attaining of a visa stamp on the boarding pass, in the baggage drop-off area, prior to boarding the flight." The rest of the boarding pass has other nonsense in larger and highlighted texts, but something as important as obtaining a visa stamp was small and obscure. The gate attendant made a stink about us not having it stamped and was trying to prevent us from boarding because of it. Our response was that no one, at any point, stated we needed a visa stamp on the boarding pass when we checked our luggage in the baggage drop-off area. I've traveled between countries before and have never experienced something like this. Additionally, Ryan Air knew we were Americans since we had to provide our passport numbers abe the country that issued them when we checked in online. You would think that they would have their systems flag Americans so that their employees know to say "hey, I see you're an American. FYI, you need to her a visa stamp on your boarding pass at the baggage drop-off area prior to boarding." Will never use Ryan Air again in my life, regardless of the supposed savings (cause in reality, there are OTHER & BETTER airlines to choose from; don't give crooks business and better to give it to their competitors).

DUB

I about got what I paid for and Ryan does have some good prices. I am not limited to specific dates so I can usually shop for a price that matches what little I expect to receive. Ryan is far better than Jet Blue, Iberia Express and Easy Jet for carry on luggage. I won't fly those others regardless of price - their additional charges for my purse-sized bag of medical equipment would have cost me more than the ticket while others were allowed to take larger bags of airport-ripoff-junk from "duty free" shops at no charge. Fortunately I had time before my early morning flight to unpack and throw away clothes and a leather bag before my flight. Ryan rates better than those companies.

Most of the staff are only civil to you if you are giving them money or are getting on or off the plane. They don't act like they like their jobs. The employer is usually the reason for that and the customer usually suffers the consequences. Everyone involved can see the elephant in the room except managers and corporate heads (who are usually too full of themselves to think rationally about where the money comes from.) The seating is uncomfortable enough that I can't take a flight over two or three hours. Fortunately I havent had too. I have low expectations and am rarely surprised. Like buying trinkets from China, the cheaper the product the higher the profit ratio. I still buy so I guess I feel I am getting what I pay for.

Prices are per person, are for e–tickets and include all taxes & fees in GBP.

We attempt to get accurate prices, however, prices are not guaranteed.

Here's why:

We’re not the seller
At KAYAK we don’t set prices, so it’s not possible for us to guarantee what other companies are selling.

We aggregate tons of data for you
Our service lets you quickly and easily compare results from hundreds of travel sites at once. In this sense, KAYAK is a search engine and we don't guarantee prices we find.

Why aren’t prices accurate 100% of the time?
Prices on airline seats, hotel rooms and car hires can change frequently. Several people may also be trying to buy the same travel option simultaneously. As a result, you may find on occasion that certain prices are no longer available.

More questions or if you have a bad price to report to us
Please send us an and someone from our team will get back to you promptly.

The fares displayed include all taxes and fees for economy class travel and were found by the provider in the last 72 hours. Seats are limited and may not be available on all flights and days. Fares are subject to change and may not be available on all flights or dates of travel. Some carriers charge additional fees for extra checked bags. Please check the carriers' sites.
