Cons: "I used Qatar airways 3 times so far. In the last flight, were a connection has 8 hours between 2 flights, they deny me to stay in a hotel. The last 2 flights which have exactly the same schedule, I used the hotel in that 8 hours between the 2 flights. I asked why, they told me that my ticket is not eligible to the hotel, although, I bought the last two times from Kayak, with almost same price. My first flight with Qatar Airways was on July 2017. My second flight with Qatar Airways was on August 2017. My third flight with Qatar Airways was on Jan 208."

Long queues,very slow to move, police checking passports unbelievably slowly. Retina scanners should speed up the process. Why then take 5 minutes to check each passport? Poor advert for Qatar, after nearly an hour of queuing I would think most passengers wished they had gone somewhere else."

Although pilot tries his best to reduce the delay time but still lost our connection flight. it is known that the whole operation is complex but still believe that effective cooperation by flight crew, ground personnel and others could result in a better outcome. the hotel chosen by the office at airport was not satisfactory. Qatar Airways customers deserve better treatment."

Traveling first class, the seats are a little wider than in coach and have a little more leg room, but calling it "first class" is a bit of an exaggeration. It's more like what coach used to be before the days of the flying sardine cans."

Cons: "I travel this route (ATL - MGM) often and it seems like half the time I use Delta there is an issue with the plane including times when the flight has been cancelled. This time the plane left the gate and some fifteen minutes after sitting on the tarmac was taken back to the gate. The issue was said to be an element that keeps a sensor from freezing in extreme cold weather. The less than one hour flight took two hours to complete. This should have been dealt with as a maintenance issue but Delta doesn't seem to think so. The planes on this route make Delta a LOT of money as it is one of the most profitable routes in the US. You would think Delta could invest in keeping better maintained planes on the route."

We ended up storing our bags under the sits in-front. The way it was done it was rude and with no consideration for our comfort."

Cons: "We had delays EVERYWHERE. What is usually a 40 minute flight from Birmingham to Atlanta took an hour & 25 minutes. Once I landed, I had to connect allll the way on the other side of the airport. Once in air, things were fine, just hot. However, due to weather, we had to fly for an additional 45 minutes in the sky. The crew was as nice as they could be in that situation just overall a frustrating."

Seat headrests were not adjustable up and down."

My understanding was this flight was a mess the previous week as well which says that something needs to be fixed. The temperature on the flight fluctuated back and forth from too hot to okay. You get the picture."

The screen did not seem receptive to the human finger and often the menu lines were small and very close together, leading to the incorrect item being selected. Finally I gave up and was just trying to put on "my flight", but it just made me take survey after survey, instead of allowing me access to "my flight" information."

Because of an allergic reaction, I asked for ice a number of times and the attendants were more than happy to meet my needs."

Pros: "On both of my flights to New York City, I was amazed at how friendly and helpful the flight attendants were to the passengers. On my short flight from Basel to Amsterdam, a young French speaking girl was concerned about how to manage getting to her next gate. The flight attendants talked to her and arranged for someone to take her there. On my longer flight from Amsterdam to New York City, there was a customer who was in distress about missing a previous flight and not making it to her connecting flight in New York. One of the flight attendants reassured her until she stopped crying and calmed down. That same flight attendant was always so positive and cheerful in all she did. The rest of the crew was top notch. This was my best experience flying in such a long time. Well done, KLM crews of flights 1984 and 0645 on July 10!"

The food on the plane had spoiled so we were all starving on the flight, and we all missed our connections. Horrible experience and wouldn't fly with KLM again."

Further, these were the SMALLEST seats I have EVER been forced to sit in. Neither I, or my friend came close to fitting. We literally had to alternate getting up and standing because we were literally overlapping each other when we sat! (His shoulder and arm were literally on top of me!!). It was so bad that when the stewardess came rolling down the aisle with her cart, I had to be aware and see her in advance so I could literally TURN MY BODY OVER TO THE LEFT HALF ON TOP OF THE PERSON SITTING NEXT TO ME SO SHE WOULDN'T TAKE OFF MY ARM AND SHOULDER. ULTIMATELY, SOMEONE, OR MORE THAN ONE PERSON, IS GOING TO GET SERIOUSLY HURT BY THIS RECKLESS, GREED-DRIVEN DESIGN!! The OVERT GREED by the airline (American) clearly reflected by this in trying to JAM as many human beings into a flight as possible like Sardines is DISGUSTING!!! You simply DO NOT TREAT HUMAN BEINGS THIS WAY!! It is also clear evidence that there needs to be tighter standards, regulations and penalties by the FAA and what is allowed by airlines. AND I AM SENDING A LETTER TO THE FAA!!!"

Pros: "This flight was co-shared by British airways. After our horrible flight from San Diego to London, we decided to upgrade our returning flight from London to San Diego to a economy plus premier. This time the plane seems newer and recently refurbished. The seat can recline more, with lump bar support and nice foot/leg rest. It has a bit more legroom. The cabin is nice and new with large view touchscreen TV for each seat. Gluten free meal was good, I'm just glad they finally boarded the plane with my GF meal (after repeated unsuccessful attempts). The service was great, our BA attendants were polite and attentive."

After paying that before departure to London I recieved an email from British Airways that stated an extra bag for both my flight to London and return flight to San Francisco had been fully paid for. At the airport I was told by British Airways employees that I would have to pay another $90 regardless of what my email said because their official prices are $90 each way not both. I showed them the confirmation I had recieved and all they could say was "that is confusing". There was very little empathy or attempt to help. As a result I was forced to leave the suitcase behind with my acquaintance in London and do an in airport shuffle of all of my belongings. The flight was great but beware emails that may not match up with online info."

Cons: "The man sitting next to me required two seats. The arm rested had to be lifted to my seat to accommodate him. I complained but the flight was full and my seat could not be changed. I was told that British Air policy was not to require extraordinary over weight people to buy two seats. No, instead the person next to that overweight person has to suffer. A very stupid and unfair policy. As a result I will never book Finnair or British Air again if I can avoid it."

Cons: "We were unable to find a row of seats to more comfortably facilitate traveling with a baby and a toddler as seats that should have had a cot or extra seating didn't have the cot and were sold out for an additional fee before we had the chance to. Discussing this with the staff at check0in and at the gate, made no difference as they had no knowledge of what was available on that particular flight. Every time I fly with American I'm reminded of why I don't like the airline and I will do my best to avoid them moving forward regardless of competitive ticket pricing."

T he seats were cramped and uncomfortable, I was unable to pick my seat on any flight and despite my request could not change it. Boarding at Chicago was a farce, none of the ground crew seemed to be in charge and we barely started boarding with 20 mins to takeoff. Needless to say the flight left late and we had to wait to take off, and of course had to wait to land in London."

I have been recommending Britsh Airways over the last several weeks to pretty much everyone I know. My family and I will be looking to British Airways for overseas flights as a priority."

It felt like I was sitting at a table in a kindergarten classroom, not a chair meant for an adult. In the upgraded seat I was very comfortable. Cons: "I haven't flown American Airlines in quite a while and one gets quite spoiled flying on Emirates or Qatar or Singapore or Norwegian or whatever other airlines. It's easy to forget how utterly mediocre AA is. The food isn't great, the air quality on the flight is terrible and leaves you feeling oily. They don't air-condition the plane until after everyone is boarded so the whole process is hot, sweaty, and unpleasant. Many of the staff are flat out rude to people (I was never on the receiving end, but I overheard what I considered very abrasive tones to others). And so on. Ideally I'd fly on other airlines I think."

Earlier today your system was down and your agent told me to call back. Now no one picks up the phone. I have been on hold for 15 minutes. This was British airways."

Pros: "The plane was not busy so services took about 5 minutes, everyone had 2 seats minimum and generally quiet. Had it been busy, it would have been different in that seats were not very wide, aisles very small, if the seat in front reclines and you don't, you can't see your screen and not a lot of space in general."
Cons: "If you want to select your seat, be prepared to pay £175 per flight. This is ridiculous! Second meal was a very bare bbq beef pie or sweet potato pie... On their own with nothing else and it arrived 30 minutes before we landed so very rushed. On a 9.5hr flight the 2nd meal needed to be an actual meal and come sooner than it did."

Pros: "The seat was comfortable for such s long flight (~10 hrs). The selection of movies/television/music for personal use was exceptional. Being provided a lightweight blanket & small pillow a nice touch. Beverage service and a small unexpected VIP of ice cream a very nice surprise!"
Cons: "Didn't like being served dinner-type food (pasta & salad) late morning….but I shouldn't complain since it was a privilege yo be served a meal.Didn't like being told my window shade had to be closed I chose a window seat so I could look out the window and have natural light. It was daytime. As there was no one sitting next to me, I ultimately kept the shade partway open. I could tell the crew was irritated. Several hours later, a different FA came over and just shut my shade; I reopened it. What a stupid tug of war."

I almost missed my flight because of this. Everything was through American airlines. It would have been nice to know this going in. Also it was tough doing transfers because once again, none of the departure screens refer to "Iberia flights." It was also tough to check-in. Instructions were not clear in terms of the booking number to use. The Iberia app had a lot of usability problems. The seats are too cramped. I'd have to take out a loan to be able to afford business class or 1st class. It's absolutely horrible for everyone in coach. Especially for long flights as this one. The food was subpar, but that is to be expected in my opinion. Would have been nice to offer complementary headphones. I wasn't able to utilize the entertainment because my headphones are blue tooth. Upon arrival, we had to sit on the tarmac for 20 minutes because there was another airplane in our spot."

Pros: "Because this flight was NOT full, my wife and I had the entire center section to stretch out. This made our 7.5 hour flight amazingly comfortable. The Airbus A300 was a reasonably new aircraft. Everything was clean and looked good. The food was exceptionally good. My wife and I both commented on how good the food was (my wife stated, "it was the best airplane food ever"). The main meal, the hotbox snack, and the late in flight chocolate ice cream were ALL good. The staff were great, friendly, service oriented, nice people."

Cons: "The only thing I didn't like was that there wasn't much legroom in the economy section. Another problem - which is probably related to Heathrow airport and outside of the crew's control - was that the staff at the airport rushed us tremendously during boarding, saying that the flight would close half an hour in advance. I had never seen boarding close that early and it was very frustrating, because the boarding then took a very long time, since they searched us for no reason, and our flight ended up taking off 30 minutes late! As passengers, we felt very rushed, it seems, for no reason."

Pros: "Having flown long haul with American numerous times, this time I was pleasantly surprised by several things. Firstly, the brand new plane with excellent in-seat entertainment choices, power points at every seat, more comfortable chairs with better head rests and even window dimmers vs. window shades, allowing you to look outside the whole flight. Secondly, the food was much improved...definitely better quality and tastier than typical airline food. And thirdly, better service from flight attendants who actually smiled. Keep up the good work. This represents a real step change."

A woman with a two-year old had one of the malfunctioning monitors and was forced to entertain her child for nine hours without tv, movies or music. Similarly, on our flight over to London 10 days earlier, my husband and I were 2 of more than 30 passengers whose monitors never worked and we were forced to fly for 7 hours in the dark on an overnight flight staring at the backs of seats. It was miserable. The cabin crew told passengers they had begged the airline for years to replace the system but the airline refuses. Will not fly American Airlines transatlantic again."

After running across Heathrow to make flight, we got on plane and Waited....seems after running a Mile across the airport, they Decided to HOLD the Flight and have everyone from 11am flight take the 2pm flight to Charlotte. All the baggage had to be taken from 11am flight and brought to 2pm flight. Delay for take off was almost 2 HOURS!!! Instead of arriving in Charlotte at 3pm, we were Leaving at that time!!! Didn't get to Charlotte until almost 9pm. NO ONE on Flight from 11am was Happy about this."

Without fail, the flight attendants bumped their carts into my chair EVERY time they passed. If I had been trying to sleep, this would be much more of a disturbance to me. Seeing as I was just watching movies and enjoying the food, it wasn't that much of an issue. However, I think it would be easy for the flight attendants to just take a second longer to try to navigate around the chair and not bump it every time. Little things like that go a long way, especially on a long flight."

Pros: "American Airlines was amazing fed you a good meal fun crew good entertainment had 3 glasses of wine desert , and hot biscuits and coffee before landing was a great flight."

Cons: "I had a 6 hour layover in London but the American Airlines still couldn't get my bags from terminal 5 to terminal 3 and i flew into Miami without my bags! Thank you for making my life harder!"

Pros: "Original depart for London was 3:15, but when I called from Praque and my friend called from NY we were both told that depart from London is 2:15 and arrival is at 5 instead at 6. It was a mess!"
Cons: "Original depart from London was at 3:15 and arrival in NY was at 6pm. But when my friend called from NY about the arrival he was told that the plane will arrive at 5. I was told the same when I called from Praque. I have to stress that we mentioned the right flight #. When I came to the gate (exhausted) we departed after 3pm as originally scheduled. It was a mess! Otherwise the service was good."

Pros: "The gentlemen from the wheelchair service who was there to pick us up when we arrived in Heathrow went above and beyond his duties. Instead of passing us over to another wheelchair attendant as we needed to switch terminals, he stayed with us thru the terminal change until we were on the airplane. We needed to get our boarding passes at Heathrow from a different airline and he helped us with this. Kudos to him!! The attendants on this flight were very helpful when my husband was having a diabetic reaction and I was vomiting form air motion sickness. We were a mess!! However the flight attendants were sure we had a wheelchair in Chicago and helped us with our bags as we were exiting the plane. Nice Job"

Pros: "The entertainment selection was prolific, with many many movies to choose from including recent releases. The staff provided plenty of beverages to help the time slide by nicely. The seats had both USB and 110V power outlets which was awesome. The entertainment systems work with regular iPhone headsets which was good."
Cons: "Couldn't get our meal preference selected, Iberia page for the flight check-in didn't work at all, getting a page not found error. Then after calling Iberia, and getting the AA confirmation managed to at least get into AAs web site for the flight, but now it was apparently too late to change our food option, and AA wouldn't work with us at all, the phone agent event LIED on the phone suggesting we could talk to customer service at the airport to have them provide an appropriate meal option. The customer service line was CORDONED OFF at LAX, and getting help out of their agents was like trying to get blood from a stone. The worst customer service experience I've ever had, even than Comcast. Then, I guess this ticket is economy minus, you have to pay more for seats that aren't at the total arse end of the plane. WTF. Economy means economy, not the back end of economy, but now you gotta pay to "upgrade" to regular economy. I can't imagine what that must have been like for families of four with children who are being extorted just so they can sit together. Then at the airport, despite having been assigned a gate, the plane came into a different gate, and we're just sitting there slowly wondering more and more why there aren't many people around. Finally we have to go ask another airlines' desk where our plane is at (it never had a correct gate assignment on the monitors) to figure out where we had to board. No announcement, no agent at the old gate to direct passengers to the correct place. Upon traveling to London on the red-eye, they proceeded to keep the plane completely dark the entire trip. No attempt to help passengers adjust to the destination time zone at all. Trying to open a window resulting in being curtly asked to close it. Jet lag on eastbound transatlantic is bad enough without the airline making it worse. On the return journey the line for the gate was around the corner AFTER boarding had started, and people couldn't board in any sort of order. My entertainment system crashed, when they finally came round with food, I could ask them to reset it. Having paid for the Wifi, which is fine, it's an add-on service, it was difficult to connect to, my phone really struggled to bring up the sign-in page, and I had to reboot my laptop three times, clearing my browser cache to get it to connect. The connection and payment screens were very slow, which was because the wifi overall was very slow. I am sitting on the plane waiting to hear from my father about his critical surgery with my phone dropping on and off the wifi due to slowness and extreme packet loss (>50%). I had been hoping to get some work done on the flight, so much for that idea, I couldn't maintain a solid VPN connection for more than 5 minutes at a time. I will never fly AA again unless they are the last option at a non-horrible price. This was an emergency trip as it was, and booked through Iberia; thanks for nothing Iberia."

Pros: "Friendly crew. That the seat next to me was empty allowing me to spead my 6'4" frame out a little."
Cons: "Seat back entertainment is not very responsive to touch control. Film tended to lock up and go blank. Took 15 minutes plus to reboot. I know it is only enetertainment, but I expect when I pay for a ticket that it should all be working correctly."

Pros: "The staff were amazing. Very accommodating and with great dispositions. Boarding was easy."
Cons: "For an international flight the seats were extremely tiny and the plane itself only had a few tv screens posted in the middle of the plane so everyone had to watch the same thing."

Cons: "One flight attendant in my section (23H), plonked food down on the tray with a curt, "passengers-are-a-nuisance" attitude. Her male colleague, when I asked about a spoon for the tub of ice cream said "It's there. If you can find it, you can eat it." I am a 71 yr old woman, and was shocked to be spoken to with such impertinence. Had I not already been travelling for16 hrs, having started the day in the Occupied Territories, I would have reported him to the senior person on board. I was just too tired."
