Cons: "Main course - chicken and potatoes with tomato sauce- was not very interesting, or very Scandinavian."
Cons: "Landing was hard but that is always the case."
Cons: "Everything was excellent"
Pros: "Good service from flight deck and cabin crew. Clean and comfortable"
Cons: "Take-off was nearly an hour late. No complimentary food and coffee was instant and very average."
Pros: "Getting off the plane."
Cons: "SAS like other airlines gives you a chance to bid on a nicer seat. If the offer is accepted, your card is charged the amount you bid and you are upgraded. If your offer is not accepted, you keep your seat and are not charged for bidding. I placed a bid for a nicer seat and was informed the day before the flight that my bid was rejected. But when the plane was boarding, I went to the man at the desk and asked if the plane was full. He informed me that it was not, and that I could pay roughly $300 for economy plus, or $1000 for business class. Online, I was ALLOWED to bid $200 for the economy plus seat. If they are going to reject this offer and then have the seat fly empty, they are a bunch of dicks. They had a chance for me to be a happier customer and to make more money. Now they lost both. What was also terrible is that when I family with an infant was moved up a few seats, I suggested to the lady next to me who wanted the newly vacant aisle seat that she ask the flight attendant for it. The flight attendant said it was fine. As the lady sitting next to me went to her her new seat, and old man from a few rows up took it. Another flight attendant had promised it to him. So, now the two of us are crammed, she's pissed that the seat she said she could have she couldn't, and I'm there like "My god, they wouldn't even take my money to let me have a nicer, EMPTY, seat." Poor communication, poorly run. Try another airline."
Pros: "Guess what, we took off and arrived on time!"
Cons: "Attitude of staff, cleanliness of cabin, actual cod fish (not tilapia/suay) etc. For dinner. Good Swedish scotch too"
Pros: "Crew Flight delayed. Said 30. Actual 1 hour"
Cons: "Kayak sold me a one way usd 500 ticket and did not give me the option to add the luggage. Had to pay 60 eur in the airport. Is probably better to buy in the airline directly"
Pros: "The food was great. The fresh bread is always wonderful."
Cons: "There were no free alcoholic drinks which help me to sleep. I changed seats and moved Mach further back in the plane. I don’t know if that contributed to it, but I was disappointed when I learned of this."
Cons: "Nothing to hate"
Cons: "SAS has introduced hand luggage measurement and weighing at checkin, for a maximum of 17.5 lbs or 8 kg. SAS does not care if you have flown on another transatlantic carrier, which allows more than 8 kg. Then you need to start emptying your hand luggage at checkin. The whole checkin process was a big mess, the contract employees eg. at Heathrow do not help much (they probably do not do this to any other airline). SAS staff does not remind you to take your IDs and passport, medications etc. from your hand luggage, which is then checkedin luggage as opposed to hand luggage. It is obvious that transatlantic passengers have more hand luggage than many local passengers."
Cons: "Internet page for buying excess baggage was difficult to understand."
Pros: "The customer service was great & they attended to my son who has a disability & flying on his own. He arrived well & happy so we were pleased with the service."
Cons: "Didn’t have veggies good on board"
Pros: "The crew was very kind"
Cons: "Nothing :)"
Cons: "On the flight Copenhagen to WAW only one cup of water per passenger..?????....."
Cons: "On time, efficient, friendly staff"
Pros: "I was only charged half the price for my checked suitcase on the return flight - after I called SAS the day before departure."
Cons: "It doesn't really matter that other aspects of the flight were ok when I had to pay £60.00 for my one regular-size suitcase, and I don't find out until I am standing at the check-in counter. Why do travelers have to pay for checked luggage, at all?"
Cons: "Cheap airline, entertainment system failure, paying for soft drinks?????? Food was an absolute disaster on one flight and no food service at all on the second flight. Abysmal service on both legs. Call for further details."
Cons: "Crew was rude. The bathrooms became disgusting halfway thru the foight w no toilet paper. For 6 hours we were down to one bathroom in coach. Unacceptable. My daughter never got her final meal and the flight attendant was rude when I asked her about it and never returned w food. Never fly SAS"
Cons: "flight was delay for 30 mins. then another 30 mins because there are 15 passenger that miss their flight due to delay or there is not enough flight to transport them to Longyearbyen the next day. We are force to wait a total of more then a hour to board them and stuck on plane. And ofcuase when we landed. My SAS go luggage is last to come out because the late arrival passengers luggage all come out ahead. It is a most terrible experience I ever had with a SAS flight. Might as well consider flying norwegian airline!"
Pros: "All good with SAS. Not good with me. I forgot to ask for a window seat."
Cons: "I makes down for food and entertainment but food could be bought and provided entertainment is not necessary for short flights with such good views of beautiful Norway."
Cons: "The SAS Supervisor at the gate permitted all preferred-level economy class ticketed passengers to board irrespective of the amount of their carry-on items - in some cases as many as three different items and many over-sized as per the measuring box located at the gate walkway, before conducting a bag-by-bag weight check on all the remaining economy ticketed passengers. Any carry-on item over 8 kgs was refused access to the airplane, and had to be unpacked at the gate in full view of other passengers to remove all electronic devices or breakable items, prior to being left with the gate agent to be placed on the plane as checked luggage. This procedure was conducted in an officious and highly non-customer friendly way, and was embarrassing to those passengers who had to "strip down" their single bag, in particular for female passengers who had overnight clothing and toiletries. A more practical and customer appropriate approach should replace such a draconian procedure."
Pros: "The movies."
Cons: "My selected seat was broken and I was moved to a seat directly on the side of the toilet. Not nice!"
Cons: "Not water for children."
Pros: "Timely or even earlier arrival. Generally, very good experience"
Pros: "The staff and pilot kept us informed of what was happening with our delay. The flight attendants were very nice."
Cons: "The flight was 1 hour late."
Pros: "On time and courtesy"
Cons: "No priority check boarding for business class in Compenhagen"
Pros: "No problems, great crew, easy check in and on time!"
Pros: "People were nice"
Cons: "They charged me 60 pounds to check my bag after I checked my bag in online. When I got to the airport, they told me I had a bag on my connecting flight from Copenhagen to Helsinki but not on my flight to Copenhagen from LHR. At the airport I was charged 60 pounds for a small bag. Crazy! Completely unreasonable. Never flying SAS again if I can avoid it."
Cons: "Flight was 4 hours delayed, we could not leave the airplane every passanger just could have one water during the waiting time When finally arrived in Copenhagen i missed my last connections for the night and the airline wasnt helpful at all!"
Pros: "On time arrivals/departures, competent staff who were polite and attentive - plane very clean!"
Pros: "Space between rows of seats was excellent"
Cons: "No options in menu. No free wine, beer and other spirits."
Pros: "The entertainment system is great, and it was much more comfortable with no one in the center seat."
Cons: "Charging for using the WiFi and making passengers pay for soft drinks? Really? Talk about being nickel and dimed. Pathetic."
Pros: "Shorter than usual flight, captain made the flight in 1 hour 15 minutes!"
Cons: "Flight delay of over two hours No snacks and drinks limited because of limited supply on board replacement plane"
Cons: "We boarded late. There was no boarding announcement. A guy walked up in front , as to wait for the announcement and she waved him up. The rest of the gate just started forming several lines. Very unorganized. The we sat on the plane for about a half hour. At least there was an announcement that two people were missing so they had to remove their luggage. 40 minutes late into Longyearbyen."
Cons: "Crew service is very poor"
Pros: "My seat did not recline."
Cons: "That the staff didn't seem to think it was a big deal."
Cons: "My luggage was lost"
Pros: "Food good, free drinks. Great entertainment system. Crew nice."
Cons: "Full flight."
Pros: "On time. Efficient boarding."
Cons: "Not even water or coffee was free. Charge for everything."
Cons: "Didn't like the economy class seats paying for business.A real rip off."
Pros: "On time bags made 2 connections"
Pros: "Checking was simple . The waiting area was comfortable. The flight seats were convenient, and we arrived early."
Pros: "I arrived a little more than an hour ahead of the flight (traffic delay), but security lines were very short and there was still time to get to the gate well ahead of departure if I had been given the opportunity. However, there were no agents at the counter; and a nearby representative said they had left two hours before flight."
Cons: "When I called SAS before the flight departed, I was offered the option to rebook for an extra $1,300. Since I wanted to think about my options, I was told I could decide later that evening and still do that. When I tried to call a few hours later, their offices were closed (8 pm)and by the next day my return flight had also been cancelled. This seems to me like a budget airline these days."
Pros: "Loved the new, roomy interiors!"
Cons: "I know this is petty, but many major airlines allow you to watch your movie all the way to landing. It's an annoyance to be cut off before your program ends, but not crucial. Second, the planes was freezing from start to finish with staff removing blankets and pillows upon take off and landing. I understand the safety concerns, but I jr to leave on my hoodie."
Pros: "Friendly staff as always, and more leg room than most budget carriers"
Cons: "They announced a 10 minute delay, which lasted for two hours without passengers getting any information, and had to take the bus a long way as the plane had somehow ended up at the other side of the airport. Then once boarded, we sat on the tarmac for at least 30 minutes."
Pros: "New Boeing Dreamliner plane was very comfortable. We successfully bid for an upgrade which was of course spacious. Most food and drink was complimentary."
Cons: "The movie selection was limited. If there was on board music I couldn’t find it. There are usb and power points so you can bring your own though. It was awkward to eat out of the meal boxes with little plastic cutlery."
Pros: "Excellent value flight to Seattle. Very helpful at check in. Brilliant plane."
Cons: "We choose not to pre-book seats or order meals as we felt both were expensive options."
Pros: "Nice and ckean airplane. Smooth travel"
Cons: "We didn't know our 11 hour flight didn't have food. And then when we try to order food, on the menu it's all just sandwiches. There's no option for hot food."
Pros: "Nice new planes"
Cons: "The food wasn’t great"
Cons: "Only graded one star for last two as short ball NA"
Cons: "Everything. The check in machines were broken so I was FORCED to miss my flight. I had to pay $329 to get the next flight which was the next day and I paid for insurance. I'm across the world with no working phone, nowhere to stay and barely have anymore money yet instead of the desk right in front of me helping I had to call Norwegian. I've never heard of an international airline that doesn't feed you for 10 hours and then runs out of food for you to even purchase. It's madness. I will NEVER fly Norwegian again and I will let everyone know not to either."
Pros: "I liked the price of the flight."
Cons: "It was delayed over 2 hrs. They do not provide free food-service for a flight that is 8hrs."
Cons: "The cabin crew didn't have any personality, and didn't look happy most of the time, a smile goes along way. When you look for a cost effective flight especially when flying with family including 2 young children you think it is good that the flight costs were quite good, however when you add in the additional baggage fees each way and the reserving you seats so you can all sit together the overall flight costs including the extortionate food prices on board makes them out to be much the same if not higher than that of one of the premium airlines that already include all those things in your flight cost. Not to mention when arriving home in Boston around 40 passengers bags had been left in London and there was NO Norweign staff available to help with this, it tool numerous requests from passengers as well as the flight services people to get a Norweign member of staff to come and help. SO there were a lot of unhappy passengers. I will be seriously considering whether i use Norweign any more in the future because of this."
Cons: "We were diverted to Dulles because of weather, which is no one' fault, of course. We were assured on the flight that there would be buses ready to take us to New York or accommodation for us if the roads were too dangerous. We went through immigration and were greeted by a resounding silence on the part of Norwegian. No representative, no message, no announcement, no luggage, which we STILL have not received a week later. All efforts to get in touch with Norwegian were fruitless. Never, never, never will I give them my business again."
Pros: "The boarding was stress-free and the leg room was excellent"
Cons: "Delayed by over 3 hours."
Pros: "The flight I took coming home had two less rows, so I had an extra inch or two of legroom than I've had on some other flights."
Cons: "I know it is becoming more common on certain airlines to have to pay for things like extra checked bags, but this airline takes it to the extreme. My single checked bag was $65, there was also a charge for reserving a specific seat (not even the upgraded seats), there was no food or water on a 9 1/2 hour trans-Atlantic flight unless you paid extra for it. After arriving at Orlando, the cargo door of the aircraft would not open meaning bags had to be unloaded 1 at a time through a smaller hatch resulting in a 2 hour delay to get a checked bag. Not impressive for a supposedly new Dreamliner."
Pros: "I recieved emails informing me of possible disruption to travel to and from airport ie road congestion & weather conditions and recommendations to avoid delays which I thought was a very helpful service."
Cons: "We didn't pre order food but understood snacks could be ordered during flight. The sandwiches had all sold soon after we departed New York. We were lucky enough to buy the last fruit salad. We had nothing else to eat for the entire journey. We booked hand luggage only. Obtaining a boarding pass electronically for myself and my partner was impossible. On the fourth attempt I booked myself in individually and was successfully. I then booked in my partner successfully. We tried to go through departures armed with our boarding pass but we're refused entry. We were redirected back to Norwegian main check in to obtain a happy face stamp on our boarding pass which is obtained after the weight of the luggage has been checked. Unfortunately this means that instead of going straight through departures with hand luggage only we had to go to the main Check in anyway. I agree with checking weight of hand luggage but the process could be improved greatly."
Pros: "Quick flight. Good entertainment Quite spacious Quick boarding."
Cons: "Plane was cold. Not including food Staff aren’t as friendly as other airlines experienced."
Pros: "Modern newish plane & generally a good flight with minimal air disturbance"
Cons: "Over an hour delay before taking off although we landed only 35 minutes late. Would have thought some free drinks might have been served given length of the flight even if it is a budget airline. Room between seats is a bit tight."
Pros: "There was nothing that was good about this flight."
Cons: "- Could not check in online.. (this is the 21st century) - 1 check in bag should be standard on all transatlantic flights! I only found out I had to pay for my bag at check in bag drop. - Basic food should be standard on all transatlantic flights! - Water, tea/coffee should be standard on a transatlantic flights! I mean c’mon, who pays for water on a long haul flight? Is that a joke? Who comes up with these pricing strategies? A transatlantic budget airline? Stop ripping off travelers just to make a quick buck.. Evil are those who negotiate partnership deals like this without keeping your customer in mind. You are in the service industry for crying out loud! - If any of such amenities are not offered on long haul flights, that needs to be EXPLICITLY NOTED IN BIG BOLD LETTERS DURING BOOKING. - Very poor understanding of customer behaviour and flight booking.. - Price discrimination by having to pay for standard amenities on long haul flights is evil and unethical"
Pros: "Economy Seats were comfortable"
Cons: "Information about system for ordering food was very problematic. I was not informed that I needed to order food 3 online days in advance. I tried to order it while checking in online because I realised only at that point that it was likely I would have to order in advance...I was charged but did not receive what I ordered. One crew member was nice, the others were not. When checking in at the airport the staff desk attendant was very rude. Too many hidden costs. Paying for extras like food and luggage does not make the price economical."
Pros: "Entertainment was good, nice planes."
Cons: "Not knowing about no food provided but had to buy and book meals 72 hours in advance, which I couldn't do, as it was last minute. No blankets or pillows were provided - had to buy a blanket. No headsets were available, which also had to be purchased, but received text notification to bring my own."
Pros: "The flight itself was really good, smooth and easy. The staff were also very helpful. Good value for money"
Cons: "The plane hadn't been cleaned properly, there was still food in the pocket in my seat from the flight before. And they didn't bring the trash through nearly often enough which resulted in passengers leaving wrappers and cups on the floor. We were 30 min delayed as well."
Pros: "Nice, clean plane."
Cons: "1. Flight attendants except for a couple, were not interested in helping passengers or answering questions 2. For the basic fare (which I didn’t realise I was even purchasing), you had to pay extra for a seat and for luggage, on long haul transatlantic! 3. I wasn’t offered food or beverage once on the 8 hour trip 4. You had to purchase a blanket if you wanted one. Everyone was wearing their coats onboard. It almost felt like they were intentionally keeping the temperature cold to induce passengers to purchase blankets. When I requested they raise the temperature, I was told that this was the warmest they could make it and this is the warmest on any plane. (Obviously not true. I fly every month and have mostly found plane temperatures to be manageable.) Oh, and did I mention how you had to pay to check luggage on a transatlantic flight!!"
Pros: "My seat was comfortable, bathrooms were clean."
Cons: "Some not all of the staff was a tad bit cooler in demanor than was needed. Too much movement by other passengers."
Pros: "I flew round trip from Oakland, CA to London. This is a budget airline. You pay for anything extra. That said, the airplane was new, spotless and comfortable. The toilets were clean and well stocked with paper products. ( I have experienced quite the opposite on more expensive flights.) The crew was efficient and responsive. The plane was on time and the flight was great. Given the $700 price reduction, I don't mind paying to check luggage or bringing my own food, water, blanket, pillow, ear phones, music, sleep mask and earplugs. If you want a snack, drink, coffee or water, it can be ordered for airport prices. The snacks looked better than the food they served."
Cons: "Boarding staff a bit unwelcoming"
Cons: "I fly routinely for work including internationally. I have always been able to carry on 2 pieces of hand luggage -- 1 small rolling bag and a personal messenger bag. I was surprised upon my return flight to be told I had to check one of my bags because their combined weight > 10kg. There was no problem with me having both bags for carryon during my departing flight. The return flight wasn't even half full, so there was plenty of cabin space for my rolling bag. Instead, this was a ridiculous policy of Norwegian so that they could ring some money out of me. I doubt I will fly with them again."
Pros: "Just all in all, a really decent flight. The airplane was clean and tidy, staff were polite and I was really impressed with the free wifi. The flight was comfortable and I was able to get a little power nap in before we landed!"
Pros: "I had a window seat..."
Cons: "Very confused as to why I was wasn’t told that I needed to pre order my meal.. On my way to London I got a meal included and on the way back I didn’t even get a bottle of water! Awful awful experience and will never be flying Norwegian again. , no matter what the price is!"
Pros: "Modern, clean plane (Dreamliner); and fuss-free experience. Definitely good value for money."
Cons: "Seriously poor leg-room for a transatlantic flight. If you're going to sell food on board. Make the most of the opportunity and ensure it's decent quality?! Options are limited and quality is noooot good."
Pros: "The comfortable seats"
Cons: "Being separated from my friend across an aisle"
Pros: "The flight was on a nice modern 767, clean and I was lucky as a tall person I had no one next to me. So I was relatively comfortable. Tickets for a flight from London to JFK were very cheap. USB port to keep phone charged was nice, but whats the point with no WiFi available?"
Cons: "I felt this was a bait and switch offer. Cheap price offered, but no checked in baggage included nor any food and drinks or snacks. NOTHING. Flight attendants basically ignore you the whole flight unless you purchase on the flight or in advance. Very poor choice of movies, all old movies. And no WiFi whatsoever. All of these are major inclusions on trans-Atlantic flights, and were not visible when purchasing this flight. I thought it sounded too good to be true. To be honest, if this were all included up front, I couldve brought on-board food and drink for the flight. I dont like being nickel and dimed on everything. Charging over $50 for a checked in bag is ridiculous. At least if it were for $25 like every other flight, I wouldnt of minded."
Pros: "Norwegian is bare bones, but this flight on the Dreamliner is very comfortable. It ‘helped’ that the delay meant lots of people cancelled and there was a lot of spare space on board."
Cons: "It’s a long flight with no drinks... but with Norwegian you know what you sign up for! Water is $3. The 5 hour delay left something to be desired, but Norwegian texted me early so I knew not to head to the airport."
Pros: "Price of the ticket was good Modern plane Clean plane Friendly cabin crew"
Cons: "The flight was full The seats in economy were small"
Pros: "Nothing particularly special."
Cons: "Arrived 4 hours delayed, and they always say due to weather to rid of any responsibilities. Flight had no food and had some insane safety warnings saying gathering in groups was not allowed. That's the most big brother thing I've heard in an airplane."
Pros: "Good entertainment options on individual screens, where you can also order food"
Cons: "They charge for just about EVERYTHING. I was aware that checked luggage was not included in the ticket price so I prepaid for that. But be prepared: even on an 11-hour flight you must also reserve meals (i.e., prepay), or you'll be looking forward to buying from the "snack bar"--$9 for a small sandwich. Other items they charge for: water, earbuds, blankets... Don't even ask if there are free snacks. I'm surprised I wasn't charged for speaking with a crew member (when I could flag one down--good luck with that). They begin "boarding" 2 hours before departure. Why? So you can stand in a long line, no food venues nearby, to then be sequestered in an enclosed waiting area until they condescend to let you on the aircraft (no fee for that, surprisingly). Unless you prepaid another fee for expedited boarding. But if you're a common peasant I suggest taking a different discount airline where they actually care about their customers."
Pros: "Dreamliner was a very good place to be for seven hours. As budget airlines go Norwegian are the best we've used, amazing value to cross the atlantic."
Cons: "Film selection wasn't the best, but you can't have it all."
Pros: "Friendly Crew members"
Cons: "Not enough food choices. Limited entertainment."
Pros: "Booked this as was going to Denver direct and ESD a fair price. Generally well looked after."
Cons: "Not made clear that this trip did not include food unless purchased separately but spotted It day before so purchased our own to take on board. Was actually better as we had what we wanted and most importantly could eat/sleep when it suited us. Not offered any drink not even water but had our own. Nearly slipped up with baggage as did not purchase bags coming back as missed the point while booking. How many people book return flights and don't bring bags back? Should have been an 'are you sure' check."
Pros: "Very good seats and a new plane for good value."
Cons: "Entertainment system didn't work, ordering system didn't work. When my kid got a black eye from the spring-loaded entertainment system they didn't even have a first aid kit on board with a cold compress--shocking."
Pros: "Smooth boarding and helpful staff."
Cons: "Did not know that I would need to have my own headphones. Purchased rather poor sound experience headphones. Could not make my meal request change as vegetarian. Did not see that even when I booked the flight. Passengers should take their own light snacks and drinks after security."
Pros: "The crew was friendly, and very attentive."
Cons: "The flight boarded very slowly due to very inefficient check in process to just get into the gate area. There were about 15 people to check the weight of people's bags, and basically run security again (mostly standing around), while one person checked tickets and passports. This lead to the flight leaving an entire hour late. I ordered a meal for the flight, but was surprised that when I needed even just an additional glass of water (during the 12 hour flight) I was charged $3. If I had not ordered a meal, I would not have received even the one drink that I got. This was a 12 hour flight, and most people around me were not offered even water."
Pros: "The staff was really nice, and when my husband's tv screen wasn't working they made sure to reboot it several times, until it did."
Cons: "I have never been on an international flight where they made you pay for food and water. They, in fact, won't stop the beverage cart for you unless you've paid for a meal package. When I booked my flight there was no option to opt in nor out of any meal package. I called the airlines 48 hours in advance, and they told me that, in order to pay for a meal package I would have to have called at least 72 hours in advance. Also the flight had no vegetarian hot meal options, which sucked for me. I was appalled that you had to pay for, even, water!!!!"
Pros: "There was nothing I liked except for getting off the plane."
Cons: "There was a mechanical issue which delayed boarding and since we were quarantined to a small area without enough seating, no restrooms or food services which made me very upset. Once we were on the plane there was a possible terrorist threat which delayed us even longer and scared everyone on the plane after police entered the cabin. We were not given any services for the 12+ hours we had no access to purchase food. The food service system was no working on the plane. It also took us 20 minutes to find a gate. The plane was very warm and everyone was angry. The check in process was also horrible with the staff being rude. The flight attendants were also not very nice and after experiencing the scare of something going on they should've been a bit more accommodating. I will never fly Norwegian again or fly out or into Gatwick Airport."
Pros: "Newer planes"
Cons: "Paid extra to pick seats. Not to pick a better seat but just to pick any seat ahead of time so family could sit together-like a lot extra! Not good Norwegian. Paid extra for food. Not clear on site so didn't know that even on long trip overnight, you get nothing to eat or drink- not even water- unless you order it ahead online and pay OR order it on board and pay. And if you didn't order any food or extras, the crew pretty much ignored you like you werent there not good Norwegian Paid extra for baggage-and a lot! Sizes/weighs allowed for baggage is less than American air carriers and they charge you per kg for overage."
Pros: "seats were comfortable, the hot food meal was okay"
Cons: "The cabin service and crew members on 2 of the 3 Norwegian flights I've been on this past month are the rudest I've ever experienced.. They were snappy, impatient, not communicative about the handing out of hot food, and also I heard one of them talking very negatively about other passengers. I understand that it's a service industry job and dealing with customers/passengers can be difficult at times but it's really unattractive to do it directly in earshot of other customers. The price is great for the flights but I'd really rather not travel Norwegian again because of the attitude of the service team. Really, the worst. The breakfast meal was pretty unsatisfactory. The cold wraps are not appetizing and the juice is just super sugary, kind of garbage quality."
Cons: "Extremely rude flight attendant that served my section. Lack of information about when you would be served. No free drinks including water, even though I paid for a meal. Very narrow seats, the only type of person that would fit comfortably would be a child. I was given a different seat from what I reserved and sat in the middle of 2 men (one with horrible body odor), both whom were very thin, but it was if we were all sharing the same seat, I couldn't move!!!! Toilets hadn't been cleaned, absolutely disgusting. When the pilot spoke, he had such a thick accent no one around me could figure out what he was saying. And last but not least, we sat on the plane for 3 hours before we took off, 2 of those hours was without airconditioning."
Cons: "Showed up to my flight an hour before and was told I was late and booking closed... was told by another airline three hours later that an hour before I was able to change my flight for another time but was never told by Norwegian airlines employee. Not only did I pay $542 for a flight home that I actually never was on but had to pay an additional $1400 to get back home and getting home the following day. I would like a refund of my $542 since I was told the wrong information and was on time for boarding."
Pros: "Staff were helpful and friendly :)"
Cons: "No pillow or cover supplied. Food was an additional charge :("
Pros: "Flight attendants werecordial"
Cons: "we paid for seats 8a and 8b but were put in 18 a and c with the excuse that row eight was for families with infants. Our flight attendants told us there was no such thing. Two adults sat in the seats we paid for. When we landed we sat on the plane for a half hour till they brought the stairs out. We took the same size plane both outbound and inbound yet on our return flight all of a sudden we had ti pay for one of our bags, exact same luggage as our departure flight including the same size plane"
Pros: "Every trans-Atlantic flight I've had with Norwegian has been on a Boeing 787 Dreamliner, which is an incredibly comfortable airplane compared to current standards. Ventilation and lighting are superior in a way that I doubt can be corrected on older aircraft. Norwegian's crew are *superb*. I've never had such snappy service on an aircraft; ordering via the built-in touchscreens is quick and straightforward.
