Scores according to KAYAK customer reviews
Cons: "More comfortable seats"
Pros: "Crew excellent, especially as they dealt with delay due to earlier medical event"
Cons: "Not really. Although pushback delayed, arrival was 10 minutes early"
Cons: "Courtoisie, respecté les horaires"
Pros: "Ryanair works very well if you follow the instructions. Check in day before departure - Don’t bring too big or too many bags onboard. Pretty perfect flight for us."
Cons: "Fellow passengers not preparing for check in and bringing too much luggage then complaining for 10 minutes while everyone else has to wait. Ryanair only had one check in / bag drop. Should be automated or more staff. Took forever. (Ok 30min and only 3 ppl ahead of me in queue)"
Cons: "Not waiting in the cold for 15minutes before boarding the plane"
Pros: "It was ok. Nothing more. Crew was helpfull if needed"
Cons: "Kayak... I booked a flight from Eindhoven - Alicante AND return!!! But Kayak only talked about the trip to Alicante..."
Pros: "Great flight"
Cons: "Everything was great"
Pros: "The crew was helpful and friendly, priority boarding was super speedy and the food was served promptly (to my neighbouring passenger not me)."
Cons: "The seats were dirty and the plane could've done with a clean, plus I ended up with stiff knees because of how squished I was."
Cons: "Every thing was perfect . Thanks"
Cons: "Airplane was very hot when boarding and didn’t cool down till about 20 minutes before landing."
Cons: "It was freezing we asked 3 times to have air con adjusted ...plus other passengers ask too . Nothing was done . Stag and hen people on flight... shouldn’t be served alcohol on flight if they seemed drunk already. People wouldn't sit down even with seat belt signs on..."
Pros: "Priority boarding and luggage storage."
Cons: "The crew had no control over rowdy/drunk passengers. A shame as young children present. Not one request to calm down and refrain from shouting and swearing. Very uncomfortable and intimidating flight. Will not fly Ryanair again"
Pros: "Online facilities"
Cons: "The police for handbags"
Pros: "not a lot"
Cons: "I paid for extra legroom in row 2?There isn't any and to radd insult to injury the person next to me had been allocated his seat without paying any more than the basic fare.I spent most of the flight in a vacant standard seat which gave me more leg room than than that which I had paid for.It was a total ripoff."
Cons: "The seats could have been more comfortable. Lots of people were separated from their party because they refused to pay to book their seats. One man had two small children and his wife was seated in the rear section. Some common sense when organising seat allocation please!!"
Pros: "Queue was long but still boarded quickly,"
Cons: "Providing even simple entertainment for kids e.g. colouring sheets would have helped them cope with the flight."
Cons: "Unfortunately, I had no other option than flying low-cost. Bought the most expensive ticket I could to be in first row and have enough overhead bin space, but that still did not help the situation of a very disorganized boarding, very uncouth flight attendants, uncomfortable seats, absolutely no free drinks (not even a bottle of water), constant selling of useless things, people using the toilet in the front, obnoxious travelers, and getting yelled at. Also, contrary to what was suggested on the Ryanair web site regarding fast check-in, priority boarding and access to lounges, none of those Flying 200+ legs per year on Star Alliance flights in business and up, I truly hope I never have to take such a horrendous flight again."
Pros: "The Ariel view of Malta through Gozo and the smooth landing"
Cons: "Crew consistently trying to sell you everything"
Pros: "It was exactly as booked, Got rid of bags quickly, boarded easily(priority) crew were fine I expect. I slept through whole flight. Didn’t have any food and didn’t have any entertainment. Took off and landybsng on time."
Cons: "I’m fed up with that bloody music when they land."
Pros: "Flight was good"
Cons: "Check in was mad"
Pros: "On time"
Cons: "Flight had group of youngsters who should not have been allowed on flight. They displayed rowdy behaviour and swore and gestures throughout flight. Staff did very little to try and stop them until other passengers started to complain."
Cons: "Hidden fees everywhere!! Worst experience ever and I’ve been traveling all month long!!!"
Pros: "Getting off"
Cons: "Paying for hand luggage plus the then obligatory and unnecessary early boarding. having to pay to sit next to my children The warm cold drinks"
Pros: "You get what you pay for, it's a budget airline everything designed tfor you to pay extra"
Cons: "As above"
Pros: "It took off roughly on time"
Cons: "Boarding was slow, checking in was annoying (just lots of steps to be done with lots of ppl who don’t travel often and less helpful staff), and the plane smelled odd."
Pros: "Initial fare"
Cons: "Because of its wheels, my suitcase wouldn't fit their dimensions for gate check and they charged me 50 euros before boarding. They could have waived the suitcase through or offered to upgrade me to Priority, but they preferred to make an example of a passenger. They make you parade with your suitcase to the front of the line to "prove it." I will not fly on Ryanair again."
Pros: "Enjoyed the lasagna that I ordered, surprisingly good!"
Cons: "Under the circumstances, the staff coped well with certain difficult passengers. Noisy passengers are my pet hate especially when the safety drill is being read out."
Pros: "Check-in / boarding etc was all fine."
Cons: "Some noisy passengers behind us who swore a lot and the cabin staff did nothing to quiten them down sadly. Not much legroom."
Pros: "Friendly crew"
Pros: "All boarded easily and managed to take off a little early from PIK which also meant landed early in IBZ. No probs on the flight."
Cons: "Had to dust off seats of spilled Pringles from previous flight. And floor was covered and hadn’t been hoovered or even a dustpan. No biggie but wasn’t as clean as it could have been."
Pros: "The price."
Cons: "Thę policy to make sure you do not sit with your family and have to buy seats to make sure you are all sitting together. The salaries of the staff are the worst in the industry."
Pros: "It’s nice flying into Alicante where often those awful automatic passport machines give way to mails checks so much faster"
Cons: "The staff, one in particular, was very rude. I asked for some hot water to drink on board as I wasn’t feeling well, and the flight attendant refused. The seats were extremely uncomfortable, and just helped ruin the overall experience. The flight was late. We also ended up alighting the plane in rain when we got to London, which cause me to get a cold."
Pros: "Price and punctuality"
Cons: "Families have to pay extra to sit together. Children should automatically be seated with their parents. Basic safeguarding standards should be priority, not making more money out of necessity."
Pros: "Cheap efficient flight."
Cons: "Only two toilets were working. Big queues. Flight delayed by a passenger vomiting with chest pains as we left the standing. She refused to disembark until the captain insisted! Not Ryanair fault."
Pros: "all airline staff caring and helpful"
Cons: "Bumpy Landing! Very expensive for a very basic service"
Pros: "Punctual flight. Pleasant cabin staff"
Cons: "Cabin was so cold that ice was forming on the inside of the cabin wall. Paid for adjacent seats - unnecessary as there were available adjacent seats we could have been allocated."
Cons: "Birmingham airport is awful the facilities the infrastructure the waiting the queues for security 0/10"
Pros: "Very punctual and smooth flight"
Cons: "Seats could not be reclined. Not much space for carry ons."
Pros: "The price"
Cons: "Delayed again!"
Pros: "Once boarding began, it was efficient. Service was polite and efficient."
Cons: "Narrow seats, poor selection of drinks and food."
Cons: "Ryanair charges 50 Euro per person to check in at the airport!!! Never heard of such a thing and was caught completely blindsided by having to pay such a ridiculous fee for doing what all airlines everywhere do for free!"
Pros: "I liked nothing about this flight."
Cons: "I didn't like the fact that I was never allowed to board this plane and I ended up having to book a hotel for a night and then fly out the next day on an Air Lingus flight. As I found out later, Ryanair did send me an email saying that I would need to print out my boarding pass early. However, I had already left the U.S. and never saw that email. Then when I arrived at the airport, I was told that I would have to go to customer service in order to obtain a boarding pass. Then the line was so long that I could never obtain a boarding pass in time. No one was willing to help me even though there were plenty of employees standing around doing nothing. So I ended up buying three Ryanair tickets that were worthless. I will never fly Ryanair again and I would recommend that no Americans ever fly on that airline."
Pros: "Flight went to plan, no problems boarding and on time."
Cons: "All good."
Pros: "Plane artived late. Boardef late and arrived late. Immigration was understaffed and slow causing us to miss out scheduled bus ride. Charged me an extra $30 for one of my bags."
Cons: "Late. Poor customs service, slow."
Pros: "They are al so helpful"
Pros: "The ticket price was good. Everything else is a hassle."
Cons: "Printing boarding passes before you get to the airport. Chaotic boarding; boarding from the back when seated in the front and visa-versa. Weight limits for baggage is different than all other airlines, makes it very difficult on a long multi-leg trip. Basically baggage ransom for the unsuspecting."
Pros: "Arrived on time after leaving late"
Cons: "I was too tall to be sitting beside two very big people"
