In between two meals period they're not providing something like banana / cup noodles or bugger. It's really fell sad that I was asking have to wait for 3 hours for second meal. (breakfast)
The crew are timely, friendly and professional. I was very impressed.
They overbooked the flight and reassigned my seat. To add insult they lied that my assigned seat was broken and promptly gave it to someone else
Jain veg meal I opted was super in taste but there was no sweet/desserts with it. I was a big missing in the meal...Please add some sweets to end the meal with 😊
The meat-and-rice combination was a good idea, but the food could use some improvement. The meat looked a bit mushy and almost like ground meat, which wasn’t very appetizing, and the flavor was just average. Other than that, everything else was great.
Weather delayed arriving flight and even though I made the connection, my luggage did not.

My boarding experience was so bad. While traveling from LA to HYD, the boarding was smooth. But the boarding experience from Hyderabad to LA was utterly poor and unprofessional and caused lot of anxiety and stress. Even though we were at the airport Boarding well in advance to accommodate for Immigration and Security Check, Cathay Pacific Boarding On Ground Crew has done a very unprofessional job. It is one thing to follow rules, but being inconsistent and not being able to communicate this clearly is wrong. I was not aware that my laptops weight in my backpacks is also counted against the cabin baggage. While coming from LA to HYD, the ground boarding crew didnt ask for this. They just checked the Cabin bags weight. But at HYD, not for everyone, but for some people they enforced this. Our Checkin Luggage was carefully weighed at home and was accurately measured to 23 kg, Now they asked to move all the weight in our Backpacks where most of the weight is from Laptops and tablets for each family member, I need to accommodate this ~10kg from 6 laptops in to one of the suit cases and pay extra for excess baggage at the airport boarding place. Without a weighing scale how can I accurately move all the items from cabin baggage to one of the suitcase. D Venkatesh is the guy who enforced this. But I dont have a problem with the rule enforcement, but the way he guided us in solving the problem. I was willing to pay the extra money for the extra weight. He told me that the 32 kg excess baggage is allowed with 150 USD. I understood that 32 kg is extra on top of the 23 kg chickin baggage. SO I pushed all of them to one suit case and then when I took this suitcase, I was sent back saying that he meant the total as 32kg but not the excess should be 32 kg, I had to go out of the line make these changes without a scale thrice like this. They literally harassed me. Noushad his manager was sneering at us. When I said, I am going to complain about this, my wife heard him saying some bad words in Hindi. You get one chance to harass your customer. I will never board Cathay Pacific again.

The awful part was the customs delays at ZRH. The good part is the flight was delayed long enough to accommodate. The flight itself was fairly comfortable.
On time arrivals and departure, good in flight entertainment, courteous flight attendants, decent meals, reasonable seat space
OK they lost my hold luggage but notified me straight away. My main complaint, after losing my suitcase, I was told my cabin bag had to go into the hold because of it’s size. I, obviously, didn’t want this to happen bearing in mind what happened to my suitcase and when I voiced my concerns I didn’t get an explanation I was just told it would be taken from me on entering the aircraft. Looking around I was surprised to see many passengers not only with larger bags than mine but sometimes two or three bags,taking them onto the aircraft. In the end, nobody bothered taking my bag off me so I just walked on with it. The whole procedure was disjointed, poorly explained and not terribly efficient.
At boarding, the locations where we had to have our passports checked prior to boarding were very unclear. Occasional staff wandered around telling people, but in busy area of the terminal this was not obvious. It was also located well after the check in desk in terms of walking to the gate. The Premium Economy service was attentive and warm. The only big draw back was lack of restrooms, and no division or even curtain between PE and Economy.
At the boarding gate, passengers were offered the option of checking in their carry-on luggage, as the plane was full. However, they failed to specify that they would not be dropping it off at the exit. Instead, everyone had to wait over 30 minutes at the airport carousel, and to everyone's surprise, not even the carry-on luggage, but the checked luggage, was the first to arrive. An hour later, we finally collected our bags. Lesson learned: I will never check my carry-on luggage with Swiss Air / Helvetic Airways again.
I haven't flown Swiss in a long time. I was disappointed that after paying $14,907 for 3 business class seats, we still had to pay another $200 for a single business class seat. All the window seats used to be single seats. Now it's every other one and if you want a single seat it's extra. Also, The double seats do not have pods or any privacy. We landed in Chicago after a long 10 hour flight and our connecting flight was on United. Because we do not have status on Swiss, we were not allowed to use the United lounge, even with business class seats. My father is on crutches and we had a 4 hour layover. No lounge was also disappointing. All of my status is on British Airways so I will go back to flying BA. We flew Swiss because my father did not want to go through Heathrow. On a positive, the crew were super nice and accommodating for my father who had recently had hip replacement surgery. Food was okay. I"m not a good person to critique the food, I never like airplane food.
My luggage did not make the connection and 4 days later I still have not received it.
I took this flight to be able to fly with Swiss instead of Air Canada from Geneva.. The AC planes have a better outfit in Business class than Swiss, but the service aboard Swiss is really best, first-class, as is the food and beverages. Though using the same plane model (A330-300), the interior setup of the cabin starts to show its age, but IMO the planes are better serviced by Swiss than AC. I had in my recent trips with AC way too many technical problems that led to delays or even complete cancellation of my flight.. Their fleet is aging (average 20+ years) and the maintenance has taken a toll compared to years ago. Cutting costs in every corner has to be paid sometime by someone, and it's the travelers at the end that pays for it. Unfortunately for me, flying directly to Zurich puts a much longer after-fly trip on me than Geneva.. so I might go back to direct flight YUL-GVA, even if I don't like flying with AC.
There were multiple delays and the food was poor. Better food.
We so appreciated that our connecting flight waited for 6 of us!!!

Just to be expected on a budget airline. Since all the flights were either late on the evening it would help to offer some food for purchase Since you tourists cannot buy decent food withoit local vaccination record in hong Kong this would really to help Using phone to submit electronic data is great but for the elderly this is a hassle

Boarding was very good, crew attentive and friendly, seat size comfy, screen size nice. However, the seatbelt segment with the buckle is extremely short, which made fastening the seatbelt very complicated. Moreover, the bluetooth pairing of the audio system didn't work. It was not possible to have proper audio. The flight info software didn't work, too.

Lufthansa is my favorite airline and have flown oversea with them for the past 25 years: i always found them so professional and incredibly efficient from checking in to arrival. I also love their Munich or Frankfurt airports.
The plane delay due to a poor judgement of the pilot. It was the only flight that got delay due to fog.
The plane was over an hour late taking off... the plane was rather tired looking, seat cushion was thin and uncomfortable, the sound on my entertainment system wasn't working... crew are not friendly.
Flight was late and I missed my connecting flight to Dublin. This is not the same Lufthansa I remember, you guys don't care anymore. Hopefully my trips with Swiss Air will much better.

Overall, the flight was comfortable without any serious issues. Transit through Frankfurt airport was a little confusing, but not too difficult if you follow the signs
Nothing can I say I liked. Food was horrible. Entertainment system didn't work. Crew's attitude was bad. They all were Chinese and wanted to speak Chinese. Baggage missed my connection at Frankfurt even though it was more than 60 minutes for my connection. It came in the next flight of 3 hours later at 16.15 Portugal time but they said they will deliver to me next day. I requested them that I had to go to a dinner meeting so needed clothes and there were medical documents in the bag which I needed for my Doctors appointment on the next day morning. But all no use. Then I had to take taxi, go to airport at 9PM and collect my bags myself and brought bags to my hotel. Will avoid Lufthansa at any cost and same I will suggest to everybodyelse.
Our luggage broke and what we get back was only 26$ plus the transit in hongkong was terrible and the airline itself the screen wasn’t working but there was a proper seat space and the crew was nice and professional

Departure date of the ticket was ONE WEEK LATER than I purchased it for. Total failure on trying to get it reissued for the date I was to fly on. Will NOT use Kayak next time due to this screw up on Kayak's part..

Watch for "bait and switch" - cheap prices, but not obvious at all at point of purchase that there will be an undisclosed charge for baggage - and less obvious that you will have to purchase baggage at an eye-watering level. Better still, if you go this airline, leave your gear behind and buy a complete wardrobe when you arrive in country and still be ahead. The staff were very pleasant, both at counter staff level - they were clearly unnerved by having to charge - and on board.
No entertainment service which equates them with budget airlines. But their fare are regular airline fares. Aircraft are old and seats are worn.
The crews at check in counter are not professional, they are talking and playing around. Also no entertainment on the plane
2 failed landing attemps before going to Nagoya airport for refueling. After 3 hours of taxiing, we still needed 3 attemps before a succeeded landing (after the 5th attempt finally!). In total, 11 hours inside the plane instead of 4h30, and with only a crappy piece of bread to feed us. A shame.
