Cons: "I am a very experienced international traveler with approximately 25 countries visited and many of them multiple times. This flight set my new benchmark for a international coach flight. Staff were professional, friendly and accommodating. Great leg room and entertainment. Even the in flight meal and snacks were good. I was not looking forward to my domestic connection with Delta. Unfortunately, Delta met my anticipated expectation. US based carriers could learn a lot from Lufthansa."

Cons: "Lufthansa in Frankfurt is a nightmare. Gates are very far apart and Lufthansa scheduled layovers are very short. We were running close to 2 km from one end of the airport to other with little kids barely making our flights. Boarding was on tarmac even for 747, once in rain once in 40C degrees."

Cons: "The airline cancelled my ticket because they said I was not on my earlier flight two weeks prior. This was absolutely not true. I had taken the flight and also checked bags. For an airline to cancel someones tickets and not notify them is highly unethical."

Cons: "Traveled business class and the big perk was nobody in the middle seat. My seat was same size and uncomfortable as economy seats. The seating chart when I chose seats showed only 2 seats on each side. However there were 3 regular seats on each side, just like economy. Not a nice surprise."

Cons: "Couldn't check in online and because I booked pretty late, didn't get the seat choice I wanted. I purchased the flight via the Lufthansa site, but then on check-in, I found out that the first segment was SAS, so neither the Lufthansa site nor the SAS site let me check in online."

Then, the delivery company (Direct Courier Services) Lufthansa uses was completely inept and unprofessional - every single one of their employees is a complete moron. We didn't end up getting our baggage for two and half days so we were wearing the same clothes that we left Germany with. Then, after being told by Lufthansa customer service to submit receipts for clothes we had to buy, never got reimbursed or even the courtesy of a reply. After flying Lufthansa for over a decade, will never use this airline again. Epic fail."

Pros: "Even though we were a little late boarding and taking off, we still arrived 15 minutes early. The on board snack was pretty good (cheese sandwich) and the coffee was lovely - good quality and just what I needed."

Cons: "They had overbooked the flight and asked to reroute me. I asked if I would still be able to get to my destination at the same time and to make sure I would have a window seat. Everything from the moment I said yes was a terrible. They rebooked me twice on two different routes when I was in the air. Said a steward would meet me (never happened) instead I was running to catch flights on different airlines in two different airports. The entire situation was disgusting. The running was with all of my luggage. Because of the rebooking I was in the last row of 75 rows on a plane with an additional connection. Every flight had delays creating more chaos for the next flight. The only helpful airline in the bunch was Delta."

Cons: "Since we had two extra bags (paid for in Chicago), they demanded to see my receipt before we could board in Amsterdam to Nairobi. We had trouble locating the receipt and we were not given an explanation as to why we needed it again. We were traveling with 5 kids including an infant and we were not allowed to board until we found the receipt. I thought surely they would have record that I had paid, but I guess not. We were the last to board and all very stressed out. The staff seemed not to care the least in our troubles."
