Scores according to KAYAK customer reviews

Cons: "A clean plane for passengers. An explanation to why the landing was so inept."
Pros: "Checkin and security Quick passport control and luggage"
Cons: "The plane was late, boarding process very slow, Lon wait to disembark"
Cons: "The area we were put in prior to boarding was just a continuous weaving queue and was quite crowded and stuffy"
Cons: "It was freezing we asked 3 times to have air con adjusted ...plus other passengers ask too . Nothing was done . Stag and hen people on flight... shouldn’t be served alcohol on flight if they seemed drunk already. People wouldn't sit down even with seat belt signs on..."
Cons: "Boarding took long time took ages for a coffee . Stag and hen parties very loud and rowdy"
Pros: "Short flight so not much to expect"
Cons: "We were left sit on the runway after landing waiting for a spot to park up"
Cons: "Check in and lagged bag"
Pros: "It got me to where I wanted to go"
Cons: "The crew were more interested in flirting with each other and seemed oblivious to much else. Once we landed loads of people got up, the aeroplane then started moving again and people were falling into each other - not a single member of cabin crew said anything or encouraged people to sit down"
Cons: "Badly delayed with no explanation. Never flying RyanAir again."
Pros: "Service good"
Cons: "LEG ROOM TIGHT"
Pros: "Friendly staff"
Cons: "Very noisy people, very drunk people and like in all Ryanair flights, the staff has to keep giving people alcohol, so they were getting even more drunk. Not a good experience when all of them starts standing like in a bar on top of your head and raise the volume of the voice for no reason. Also from the time we landed until the time we were allowed to leave the aircraft, 15 minutes passed. Without anyone telling us for what reason. Very annoying..."
Pros: "The pilot and safety tannoy is not loud enough"
Pros: "Smooth flight (thank the weather Gods)."
Cons: "Extra fee for a boarding pass, extra fee for pre-paid checked bags, total confusion @ check-in. RyanAir blows."
Cons: "Flights are always late."
Pros: "The price is generally good"
Cons: "Ryanair broke my bag and damaged my other bag"
Pros: "Good flight with no turbulence. Checked luggage came out fast."
Cons: "They never gave me a printed boarding pass when I checked in and then once boarding the actual plane outside of WiFi range they made a big deal about not being able to show them a boarding pass. I had already shown two people before. If they needed to see it before boarding the plane then they should mandatorily give you a printed pass."
Pros: "Enjoyed the lasagna that I ordered, surprisingly good!"
Cons: "Under the circumstances, the staff coped well with certain difficult passengers. Noisy passengers are my pet hate especially when the safety drill is being read out."
Cons: "80 euros for the flight - 55 euros for a check in fee...what a joke - how do u calculate that price? Over 53 countries visited and that's the first flight I ever had to pay to check in - last flight with them"
Pros: "Fast flight nice staff"
Cons: "Seats are small"
Cons: "Being delayed an lied too"
Cons: "-On 20/12/2017 the flight was expect at 09:50 it was delayed until midday. -On 05/01/2018 I had received a message(on my mobile phone) to confirm my return and I try many times to do it without success. so i did my best to trying to call the number 080000834000 and the person who attended my call ask me to repeat several times which it make me disappoint. So i have to paid 50. 00 euros for it and plus I had to pay 40.00 euros for each suitcase (total 2 suitcases = 80.00 euros) Which i suppossed i had been paid when i booked my holidays, and no much information has been given in it. in the end too expensive. I will look at other low cost airlines in the future."
Pros: "Cheap and convenient"
Cons: "This was my first time flying RyanAir, I will never again. I did have to pay the luggage fee, I don't understand why you have to lift your luggage through the size measuring device when clearly my luggage would have fit in the overhead compartments. Aside from that, I thought the lighting (yellow lighting!) and the advertisements all over the interior was tacky and distracting from having a calm, relaxing flight. I don't think the $$ saved is worth going through this again."
Pros: "Good legroom"
Cons: "No pockets in seats Crew training appears inadequate"
Pros: "Nothing was good about the airport. Long lines, unfriendly staff, lack of seating."
Cons: "At SXP there was no separate line for security for those who purchased priority boarding like at many other airports. I almost missed my flight because of the line. I don't honestly think there's a point in buying priority from SXP because it doesn't help here."
Pros: "We got there in time, cabin baggage was accepted but the lady at the customs opened up my bag to check it and just threw the things back inside, I had to open my bag again and put them back where they were."
Cons: "I purchased the tickets at a good price but when I had to check in, I had to pay extra for early check in and another 7€ for a seat! Considering I bought two tickets for myself and my boyfriend, I ended up paying 40€ more just for check in and seats. This was a rip off. Then the boarding took much more than expected, we waited for 50 minutes standing up in a queue after the gate was announced, we boarded the plane late. The seats are super small and uncomfortable."
Cons: "1. Flight expensive....and ontop you pay 40€ for 20kg 2. Flight was at 13:35, when booking online, it says u can check in online 2 hrs before flight. If u dont you pay 50€ fee to checkin at airport ( absolutely rediculous to start with!!!!!) However, i tried to checkin online at 09:40 and payed for my suitcase, once i payed for my case, not only it didnt send me confirmation of payment or receipt, it asked for my passport details and date of birth which i entered... and then it told me the flight has already departed and wouldnt let me checkin. after 4 attempts trying.... my father called ryanair to ask for advise on what to do with this situation, and was told that we can checkin at the airport. We go to Pafos airport, where staff of ryanair at checkin were extremely rude.... and after explaining the situation... told us we must pay €50 to check in and get on my flight... told us to go to the other side of the airport to pay. We tried to explain the situation to another extreeeemely rude member of staff called Evi... who says she needs proof that i couldnt check in... so i showed her the emails i had received from ryanair.... and she said she could see it on her screen that i was in the ryanair site... but said she needed a print screen to prove it.... how pathetic!!! Then when questioning why emails from ryanair were not sufficient proof she said she is just doing her job and she doesnt care because she doesnt work for ryanair. Ironicaly told us to pay and have a nice day. We paid. And will make a huge complaint... and advertise how pathetic this airline is... not only the rules, they even ignore their own rules, as they have the rudest staff both ground and on board im sure they need the extra money to understandably employ better staff or maybe get better planes... or hopefully follow monarch so bad airlines get out and leave the good ones to do their job professionally. The way they service ob is another story. Staff look exhausted... unmotivated and very unhappy. I work for the crewing dept of an international shipping company... where we arrange travel for officers and crew hourly 24/7 , 365 days a year.....and will make sure that under no circumstances do we use ryanair as it will reflect badly on our company. I paid €250.00 for the ticket + €40.00 20kg + €50.00 because they wouldnt let me check in. = €340.00 €340.00 i could have gone with a better airline... had a happier flight.... not feel ripped off...and not been spoken to so rudely. I never complain. But this experience was continuously awful. And i will make sure this is expressed world wide. Cheating people is unacceptable. If i was late to try check in, or i did something wrong, or i was rude, or if the flight cost was rediculously low. i would understand.. but i paid good money for a ticket, too much money for a 14kg bag and ontop extra for the fault of the airlines webpage & acepted attitude!!Lesson learned!! For sure they will lose alot more than 1 customer!!!!"
Cons: "WILL NEVER FLY WITH THIS AIRLINE AGAIN, staff is rude and poorly trained in the customer service department, hidden fees/ 50 euros to CHECK IN!!!"
Pros: "Value for money, this was good."
Pros: "Price was right. Very short flight so it was okay. Price was good."
Cons: "Called to gate BEFORE plane even arrived. Left to stand like cattle for over half an hour. Not a seat in sight. Way too much for my elderly husband."
Pros: "Crew and new Ryanair plane."
Cons: "Boarding really slow"
Pros: "Everything was very good"
Pros: "Great staff, very helpful and quick with boarding, quick journey"
Pros: "I liked that fact that we board from the front and back of the plane. great staff and smooth flight"
Cons: "the checked bags is a little expensive. 30 British pounds for one bag up to 20 kgs is a bit much. I would dare to say that hinders travelers that are planning on visiting Ireland as well as Great Britain. In Great Britain you can travel by train for less money and free bags, plus a lot less security and delays."
Pros: "We were not called"
Cons: "We missed the flight due to not being called over the tannoy and the next flight was 710pm and was another £200, also it meant that we missed the show that we were booked in for as it was a birthday present for today. Staff on the ryannaire desk was not very friendly or understanding to our situation."
Pros: "Nice, not that noisy"
Cons: "Other passenger a bit loud"
Pros: "Short flighy"
Cons: "Charge you for everything under the sun. Breath wrong and it will cost you €50"
Cons: "I bought a coffee just minutes before boarding and was told I could not take it on board and had to drink it all immediately, scolding hot and everything. When I walked onto the plane, I found a fellow passenger peacefully sipping her airport-bought brew with no sign of reprimand from the Ryanair staff. I only ask that the rules be applied to everybody or not at all."
Pros: "Crew was friendly and professional"
Cons: "Seats don't recline, no seat back pocket"
Cons: "At check in there was little information posted. The check in folks made my in-laws check two bags that, while technically a bit larger than the frame, were clearly small enough for the overhead-- many other passengers cleared check in with bags of equal or greater size."
Pros: "On time"
Cons: "Tight seating"
Cons: "Still could do with just another couple of inches more space."
Cons: "Late. No explanation. Left standing on runway also in the heat."
Cons: "Don't even get water on flight pretty cheap"
Pros: "Straightforward online check-in process Priority boarding when paying for seats during check-in"
Cons: "Prepaying for baggage weight Requirement to print boarding passes No seats at gate to wait for boarding"
Cons: "Rude staff at airport, confusing self check in, high bag fees, expectation of a printed boarding pass with no access to a printer, selling goods on flight."
Pros: "The flight arrived on time and the plane was clean. When flights are this cheap I think it's naïve to expect anything more."
Cons: "Most of the bad things about Ryanair are consequences of their no-frills setup. People who fly with them have made the choice that low price is more important than luxury. The miserable bits about flying with Ryanair are: - The terminals/gates are frequently sheds (Grenoble, Bergerac), or in bigger airports the most distant and least well appointed (Liverpool). - Very little consideration is given to customer service (such as announcements for delayed flights). - The planes are as basic as can be, as is the service. - The scratch cards, food, drink, and all the "extras" you'd get as standard on other airlines such as included baggage, seat choice etc are all ways to boost profits given the low fares. - "They always leave late" - my theory is that the flight times are exaggerated so that they arrive on time at the expense of departure times, i.e. extra time is built in to the departure time to make up for cleaning / other gate delays. In short, flying with Ryanair vs KLM, BA, Virgin or Lufthansa is like taking a long distance Megabus instead of booking a seat on the train. It's cheaper. It's cheaper because it's a bit rubbish and a bit inconvenient. If you want a flight that's nicer, pay for it. Stop moaning about Ryanair."
Pros: "The crew was friendly."
Cons: "There was a charge to check in - which I attempted to avoid by checking in online but I didn't have access to a printer so there was a charge to print my boarding pass. A charge to check bags (since they wouldn't let us carry on - additional $70) there was no food (it was a 55 min flight so that makes since.) The seats were cramped and hard. And for whatever reason the landing was very hard/abrupt that people screamed. If I had the choice I wouldn't fly this airline again."
Cons: "Awful experience. Could not print boarding passes online and tried to pull them up at the airport, but there was no internet connection. Staff was incredibly rude and tried to make us pay $50 to print on site. Finally downloaded the passes (which, by the way, we had to obtain at least 24 hrs in advance - an easy email to miss). "Priority boarding" (also paid extra for) was a joke. Everyone had to get on a bus to arrive at the plane, and no order was kept, so it was basically a free-for-all to board the plane (lots of flying elbows). As a result, the overhead space by our seats (second row) was filled and we had to put our bags much further back (again defeating the purpose of "priority boarding"). Upon arrival to our destination, there was zero indication that our checked bag would be at completely different terminal. It took going through lost and found and 2 information folks to find the correct baggage claim area (and another go through security). All in all, a terrible experience. Not worth the extra $$ we may have saved. AVOID!!!"
