Pros: The flight itself was fine. The flight attendants were friendly and solicitous. The food was good on the long haul leg of my trip. The trip itself was nice.

Cons: It seems LATAM changed the way they charge fees in July. The ticket for my return trip included no allowance for checked bags, and that detail wasn't obvious on my reservation information. Imagine my surprise when I check-in for an international flight and I'm told I can't check any luggage because it isn't included on my ticket. I ended up paying $210 to check two bags. Also expect to pay a bit more for decent seat assignments. My default seat assignment was at the very back of the plane, right against the rear bulkhead where seats often can't recline. So, another $60 to move elsewhere.

Cons: Boarding was not organized. A lot of food options but only one dish, missed the salad or other options compared to other companies such as Delta, Lufthansa, KLM and etc.. Drinks were ok, lacked alcohol options compared to other companies.

Cons: I traveled with LATAM from USA to Lima however from Lim to Cusco was terrible. I was told st check in that there were no more seats left on the flight. I was told it’s legal for them to sell more tickets than seats and there is nothing they could do but place me in the next available in flight ~4hrs

Cons: I have flown LATAM several times recently, and ALL the planes are old. They are showing their age. For the prices LATAM charges, they should modernize their dated planes. Also, the food leaves much to be desired

Gate was changed, crowds pushing to line up. I’ve never wanted to get on a plane and OUT of the airport so much.
