Scores according to KAYAK customer reviews
Cons: "Lateness and the waiting in the area to board with about 6 other flights in a small area with confusing announcements"
Pros: "All is great. Just tired after a long day...."
Pros: "Airport OK. Efficient service. On time arrival."
Cons: "Gate area bit narrow and clumsy. Walk to plane. Deposit your own bag on large trolley outside plane due to opportunistic charging policy of RyanAir. Seat basic no recline. No seat pockets. No wifi. Still paying £200 return.."
Pros: "we did not receive the boading check in pass even we did an online check in and end up we have to pay 55pounds extra"
Pros: "All good - typical Ryanair - on time , comfortable , good crew , no frills - perfect price"
Cons: "Nothing !"
Pros: "The crew were really friendly and helpful. It was painless, quick, and easy :)"
Pros: "Reasonable seat space, good crew"
Cons: "If we must have random allocated seats and be separated could it be at least boarding on same door. I use my Ryanair app for both of us for check in and it makes boarding chaotic when one is in front and the other at the back"
Pros: "It was very speedy and the crew were helpful, it was value for money."
Cons: "The plane was faulty so we had to change aircrafts and ended up leaving 2.5hours later than scheduled"
Pros: "Cheap and got to Madrid 15 mins early. You get what you pay for."
Cons: "Early Sunday fligh... took 30 mins to queue from motorway to Stansted terminal. If were checking in bag there was a big queue too (I didn't need to). The slowest part was airport security, allow extra 20 minutes at least to get through. Did priority boarding so we didn't queue to board and sat together and had room for our bags (some ended up at feet or in hold)"
Cons: "6 hour delay. 5 euro voucher - that could only buy water. But worse than that was the staff on board. Their rudeness was beyond belief. They: - Stood next to me and bitched about their job and people on board the flight - Laughed about a girl in front of me and her weight - Yelled at me for having my laptop open at the start of our decent (rather than ask me to close it) - Did not apologies once for the delay (which meant I missed a family members birthday) A formal complaint will be written."
Pros: "The air crew were excellent"
Cons: "Communications around boarding and gates was chaotic and our take off was delayed for over an hour. Staff were rude and unhelpful. They seemed confused themselves and found it difficult to communicate anything helpful to passengers"
Cons: "They took my cabin luggage to the cargo even though it is the right size due to no more space in over head compartment and I believe if they where strict about the size with the All Pax and only allowed one price each in the hand the compartments would have been sufficient. You need to make sure to ask pax to be at check in desk 2 hrs before dept during peak periods due to security takes longer time make the story short I was happy with the above all standards Abdullah Benafif."
Cons: "Allocation of seats saw my wife in 5c and myself in 31d. 31e was vacant."
Pros: "There is nothing to like about flying RyanAir"
Cons: "No legroom, seats are cramped. £100 for 1x 20kg bag and £56 to reserve 2 seats. £2 payment charge in order for me to give them money... No entertainment Delayed inexplicably for an hour on the taxiway - no reason given. There aren't even seat-back pockets. Truly awful flight."
Pros: "Seats were more spacious then expected."
Cons: "When checking in I noticed me and my boyfriend were "randomly allocated" seats 10 rows apart. When I called and enquiried about this I was told that I would have to pay to move the seats even though there were 4 seats available next to my boyfriends allocated seat. This is ridiculous seeing as it was not a separate booking and there were plenty of seats available! On the way back my boyfriend was charged 50 euros for a bag which the flight attendant deemed as oversized even though on the way there it was perfectly fine. Her reasoning was that it would have to be put under the plane... When walking to the plane we saw that most people were asked to leave their hand luggage on the tarmac to be put "under the plane" without being charged so essentially we were ripped off yet again!"
Cons: "Just not nice . I know it is budget but whole experience was nasty"
Pros: "Ryanair compares well with a lot more expensive airlines. It's not perfect by any means but it offers excellent value for money."
Pros: "The flight was on time"
Cons: "The boarding, I had priority boarding pass..I was so confused where to go"
Pros: "Good service to local airports"
Cons: "Left late due to passengers acting like zombies"
Pros: "Friendly and helpful cabin staff"
Cons: "Really cramped seating :-("
Pros: "I didn't like anything"
Cons: "Everything is boor"
Pros: "Nothing I can think of."
Cons: "Flight was delayed by 3 hours. This affect our hotel and taxi arrangements severely. Also the baggage collection was extremey slow and painful with a wait of 1-2 hours."
Pros: "Service on time"
Cons: "People next to me"
Pros: "Overall was fine."
Cons: "The chairs are way far be replaced as they are extremely uncomfortable. Thanks anyway and all the best"
Pros: "Ryanair - the carrier for low class English people looking for a cheap holiday in the sun"
Cons: "Gosh, what a horrible airline. To avoid unless the price is dirt cheap."
Pros: "The flight departed on time and the crew were welcoming on board. The aircraft was clean and tidy. The flight en-route was comfortable, but only as we were asked to move to the emergency exits due to a lack of occupancy. The aircraft arrived on time and disembarkation was efficient. Castellon is a small quiet regional airport and a pleasure to fly from and to. There are now some additional facilities being installed (food and drinks outlets) which will make the experience more comfortable."
Cons: "We pre-paid for speedy boarding and fasttrack. Fasttrack was good but speedy boarding was a waste of money as we were boarded via a single queue onto a bus and then transported to the aircraft. On-board service was chaotic with many passengers around us complaining about the hot food. The method of pre-ordering whilst they then serve the cold service went badly wrong and all around us passenger were complaining about not getting their food. Then it would appear they ran out of one food product which left one passenger behind us very upset and they complained. Our food arrived but it was overcooked and they attempted to overcharge us but did not argue when we pointed out their error. On arrival at Castellon whilst waiting for border entry passengers were queuing onto the tarmac prior to having access to the under-cover terminal. It had been raining but had unfortunately stopped. If it were raining this would not be an acceptable situation and one that Ryanair should address with the airport."
Pros: "As per always, Ryanair are cheap, get you to your destination on time with minimal effort."
Pros: "Friendly, calm crew. Luggage collection was speedy."
Cons: "When gate was announced everyone went straight to long queue, with only one person working gate. No sign of anyone to do priority seating, if we had booked it. We had earlier been in a long queue for security, so were feeling, tired & frazzled. Our hand baggage went into the hold instead of on the plane."
Pros: "Punctuality, cheery crew, decent leg room compared to some other airlines, inability to recline seats (great!)."
Cons: "Lack of seat-back pocket in front for book, newspaper etc."
Pros: "There wasn't anything that stands out that made me happy."
Cons: "Our flight was delayed. We were asked to go to our gate at 18.55 and had to queue for 45 minutes before getting on the plane as it hadn't landed yet from the previous flight. No information was given regarding this. We got on the plane at about 8.10pm and it took off at 8.30pm, 50 minutes later than the squeduled time."
Pros: "Good price for the ticket and on time departure."
Cons: "It seemed a bit bare bones in terms of fit out, comfort and staffing levels were minimal. That said, at that price who cares."
Pros: "Crew were good"
Cons: "Checkin was a mess 90 guaranteed hand luggage is farcical Control of hand luggage is a joke"
Cons: "Was late almost one hour"
Cons: "Boarding process"
Pros: "Good experience this time. Thank you."
Pros: "The plane arrived before"
Pros: "Friendly staff"
Cons: "small delay. Old plane"
Cons: "early rise for late flight by an hour"
Pros: "Efficient boarding, very friendly and professional cabin crew. Good landing."
Cons: "The woman working at the boarding desk. Although we were running late the door was still open and she closed it in front of us and did not let us board the plane making us miss the last flight of the day and for the whole weekend. Horrible staff, terrible airline and costumer service is below acceptable"
Cons: "Motor sounds"
Pros: "Ryanair is always and will always be the worst airline ever."
Cons: "Because of how Ryanair works"
Pros: "Cannot complain about the price and allocated seating"
Cons: "Not much food available as advertised Herded into the waiting area before the plane has landed, no seating available there"
Pros: "Comfortable enough that I slept the whole way through the flight. I like the tall seats as they provide moe privacy."
Pros: "Friendly staff, arrived early both ways"
Cons: "No leg room, screaming kids, not as cheap as it needed to be for this hassle"
