Cons: "I absolutely hated this trip. In order to check in i had to have my tickets on my phone. Even though I knew my confirmation number. We were told to go to a terminal to get our ticket printed out. I checked in early online so that was weird. We went to the terminal and couldn't figure out how to print it out. After about 20 minutes we got upset and left the terminal to get help. A guy told us he could print off our tickets 37€ to get a flight ticket printed off. He worked for Ryanair. He said if I pull it up off my phone I could get it with an email. Unfortunately I'm a tourist and don't have signal in that country and the wifi was conveniently not operational. I was to to try a local cafe to use wifi. I went to the cafe used their WiFi and then pulled my ticket online. I brought it to the guy who needed my ticket. I asked to check my luggage on. She said I couldn't because my luggage was broken because on my flight to Athens it came back to me broken. Frustrated I walked off to security in Athens. I went to go to my gate and looked at the ticket. The ticket didn't even have my gate on there. I searched on the board for my flight to come on in English but everything was moving too fast so it took 10 minutes to do. I finally found the gate I needed to go to and left. By this time 1hr and 30 minutes we're expended before I got to even security. I got to security and through my backpack containing my camera equipment onto the scanner taking my laptop out. They kicked the back back saying I had to take all my gear out of the back so they can scan it. ( I mean what's the point of a scanner anyways) they they told me to open up my lenses to see inside.... Like what?! I did that so he could look into my lenses. Then he asked me to open up my laptop so he could see inside the laptop.... Again... Seriously?? You have a scanner. Then they told to take all my hygiene products including my expensive calone I put in my bag that was intended for check luggage and throw it away. Because my luggage was broken and wasn't able to go on the plane I lost about $100 of hygiene products. Let me tell you I also work in Africa.... I can't get hygiene products anymore. We began boarding the plane. The ticket on my phone wasn't able to be scanned and see had to put the number in manually. Then we got to the plane and told us to leave my luggage at the bottom of the stairs to be put into the plane with the checked luggage. My broken luggage that wasn't accepted for check luggage was now checked luggage just without all the important items I needed -_- worst airline and airport ever. Never fly with them."
Cons: "Agent at counter are very rude and disrespectful. Will not tell you agents name to be able to report your problems. Screaming is the only thing that they seem to know how to do."
Cons: "Very long walk on landing"
Pros: "Priority boarding means you're not queuing to have your boarding card scanned. Crew were really nice."
Cons: "But then you all get chucked on the same happy bus to the plane so you still may not be able to bring your guaranteed cabin bag on board with you. Seats are designed to be horrifically uncomfortable."
Pros: "Flight attendant was gas. A polish buck with a Irish accent"
Pros: "That it is over"
Cons: "Extra leg room seats at the front of the plane don't actually have more legroom, and priority boarding is a farce if those without it can board the plane before you"
Pros: "Relatively smooth flight, boarding, checking in, arrival, etc. Typical of small crafts. I chose this flight more for the time (it fit with our needs)."
Cons: "It was difficult to figure out the extra baggage fees, what was allowed and not allowed. I think the money I saved on the tickets overall was eated up by the extra 60$ we had to pay for our baggage."
Pros: "The Gin and Tonic"
Cons: "3hr delay and the worst landing I have ever experienced, Stevie Wonder would have done better."
Pros: "Absolutely nothing! Horrible airline to say the least :("
Cons: "Very rude staff and overall poor service!"
Pros: "When we took off the plane stayed to hot"
Cons: "Ryan Air makes you pay a "Priorty" boarding fee so that you can take your carry-on on board. Then if there's room they'll let non-priority passengers bring their carry-on's. We were at the front of the line for non-priority. They said we had to check our carry-on's because there was no more space. However, they never filled up their overhead bins and they remained empty on the flight! What a scam."
Cons: "The check-in was long, lots of standing in cramped spaces, and the rep wasn't friendly or helpful. The website was difficult to utilize and app wouldn't download. It doesn't make sense that you must pay 30 euro before you get to the airport and it seems as if you are checking in. But then you find out you have only paid for luggage and not checked-in. Every time I went to website to check-in got diverted back to main check-in page. So, I had to pay 63 euro for them to print. T boarding pass which is absurd! I ended up paying double what I originally paid. I would not fly them again And would recommend that people just pay extra $50 or so for a better quality of airline, seating, customer service, and fees explained up front. These outrageous surprise fees are crazy!"
Pros: "Take off delayed due to some technical issue, but still landed on time, very nice"
Cons: "Flight attendents were a little tough"
Pros: "The flight was on time"
Cons: "The boarding, I had priority boarding pass..I was so confused where to go"
Cons: "Delayed flight without being told before boarding at Paris BVA"
Pros: "Flight was delayed, but got time back when we departure to Rome. Fast and quiet flight !"
Cons: "Attending staff before aboard confuse with wrong info !!! Crazy and adding the lack of Aire condition"
Cons: "The extra cost for baggage. The flight was late but there was no announcement or explanation. The flight attendants talked over the loud intercom the entire time trying to sell products like perfume. One flight attendant kept bumping into me each time she walked by. The flight felt crowded. The seats are cramped and uncomfortable. I fly a lot and this was my first and probably last time flying ryan air."
Cons: "Service, aircraft, seats, website, crew, price."
Pros: "I didn't like anything about the experience"
Cons: "Customer services aren't very helpful have a figure it out attitude. Don't tell you proper information. Not even employees to with customer demand. I will never ride with again!"
Cons: "Delayed for boarding the aircraft"
Cons: "The process of checking in online was very misleading. While checking in online, their website continuously glitched. It would jump back a page, add products that I did not want (such as early boarding) without me selecting those products, etc. Finally after quite some time, I was able to check out only with the products I actually wanted (luggage fees). I received a confirmation email, and therefore I assumed we were good to go. We arrived at the airport to find out according to the staff we had only partially checked in. They could see that we started the process but since we apparently did not fully check in, we were charged £90 (45 per person) to check in at the airport. When I emailed Ryanair customer service and explained the entire situation, they absolutely could not have cared less. As a seasoned traveler, this one really takes the cake for poor customer service. Absolutely the worst experience that I've had with an airline. I will never fly with them again."
Pros: "Cheap as chips flight, lovely crew, captain speaking appreciated (had flown Vueling a couple of weeks before and they had none of this except the cheapish flight). Stansted airport nice. Time of day of flight S on offer good for me."
Cons: "Add-on costs...though still added to a little less than alternative."
Cons: "over an hour late with poor communication. charged 3€ for a small bottle of water. ridiculous."
Cons: "This was my first Ryan Air flight. It was nearly two hours late to take off - while said the pilot was informative, we were treated like cattle. We were made to wait on the tarmac in the freezing cold sleet, where my shoes became soaked in puddles and I was unable to get warm for several hours after. It felt disorganized and amateur."
Cons: "Charged us 90 pounds extra because we didn't have access to the internet to check in the day prior. This is a very discriminating practice against those who can not afford to be on the internet. It should not be allowed and our money should be refunded. Shame on Ryan Air to have such a discriminating program. Cost for a one way trip from London Stansted to Dublin, Ireland for two, 45.72 for tickets, 58.32 for luggage, 90 pound fee for not using the internet, total 194.04 pounds. Cheap is relative?"
Pros: "The flight was fine"
Cons: "The additional charges at the airport because I don't have away to check in online not impressed and my first time flying with them and probably my last"
