Cons: "Plane delayed by 3 hours. Missed my other flight to Tirana. Horrible service at the airport to help me out with a hotel. Had to run around for over 3 hours. Never flying Turkish again."

Pros: "Food was excellent. The built in entertainment from movies to games was amazing! It saves you space from having to pack a bunch of electronics."
Cons: "I always enjoy a window seat but the people next to me didn't get up at all! So I was stuck sitting and didn't have a chance to stretch my legs. Not the airlines fault of course. If you put your seat back a little, it just pushes your knees farther forward."

Pros: "Great service in the airplane plus they offer some amenities like slippers, tooth paste and toothbrush, they offer you wet towels to clean and refresh yourself during he flight. Really good."

Cons: "Everything very comfortable. Boarding process could be improved with specific directions for passengers in each row on whether to board at front or back, rather than all at once from buses. Very few announcements for boarding process."

Pros: "The crew was outstanding in serving us. The food was decent."
Cons: "The boarding experience was not good. There was an hour delay in a poorly air conditioned gate area. Also, there was not good explanation given in English concerning the delay."

Cons: "Seats some of the smallest. Staff inattentive. Pressed the attendant button 4 times. Every time ignored. Food provided was not what was on the menu provided. Boarding was a disaster. Over an hour in a terminal with lacking a/c. I want to say it was worth the price, but no. Was the worse flight I have ever been on."

Cons: "For some reason, I didn't get the option to choose a meal type at check-in, as I sometimes have in the past. Seeing as it's Passover, and I don't eat meat, I wasn't really able to eat much from the default meal I was given."

Pros: "Crew was top notch , food was great, loved the hot towels you get to freshen ourselves with, crew friendly and very patient. Loved that flight wasn't full and the three of us could spread out and be as comfy as possible."
Cons: "Very late 1.5 hours leaving JFK on way to Istanbul causing us to miss our connecting flight to Tel Aviv. Arriving almost 2.5 later in the evening."

Pros: "At least there was a good selection of movies"
Cons: "Of the frequent number of flights I've taken in the past year, this was the most unexceptional. Nothing stood out, good or bad. Food was bland, attendants were just doing their jobs and never saw one walk up and down the aisle between services to see if there were any needs or concerns."

Cons: "I will never be happy for the cramped space but I can see that it has to be so"

Pros: "I like the Airline and I think the food is good, the problem sometimes is when you travel a lot you get the same food :) The crew are always great! I do a lot of connections in Istanbul and we never missed one in about two years flying there at least 4 times a month."
Cons: "During boarding they do not always board the Gold members first and in some cases when they do it is only to go on the bus before the others. I would like the Gold members to go first with either a bus of their own to at least with part of the bus reserved and we are allowed first on the plane."

Pros: "Once on the plane everything was fine."
Cons: "My first flight was changed. Only one email was send about that change. It got lost in some other emails so I didn't see it. But I did not receive any other update or reminder. So I had figure out how to change all of my flights from there to Kansas in the States. All with bad internet service and unhelpful costomer service. And having to deal with two unexpected long layovers. All that to say, sending periodic emails is important especially if the flight had been changed."

Pros: "The service from Turkish on the flights was great. The service for rebooking was great, once we got to the front of the line."
Cons: "Due to a snowstorm (beyond their control) we had to rebook. We were in line for over seven hours because they did not honor the line and helped whoever walked up to the front. Many people 'cut' in line. It wasn't until someone yelled at them about the problem that they started to honor the line. Unfortunately that was five hours in to the wait!"

Pros: "My flight was from Pakistan to new York. Pak to Istanbul was the worst experience. The bassinet seat was on my legs and my daughter was laying inclined. They increase the number of seat which impact uncomfortable leg stretch. But same airline will offer the wonderful plane from Istanbul to new York JFK. You know why???????? Because it's USA :D"

Cons: "Boarding was very long. My flight got canceled and rescheduled. On my first flight I had made a reservation for an isle sit, and when my flight got reschedules no reservation was made and I ended up getting a middle sit, which is very uncomfortable for me."

Cons: "Terms and conditions of trkish air line of changing date of booking is essentially high and doubled if you are forced to do it twice...the trip cost me more than first class"

Cons: "Paid to upgrade to business/first class and still was given a seat in economy. I don't mind economy as I sit in economy often but this time I paid extra money to be up front and they did not consider that."

Pros: "Well, let's see, I missed my flight with THY because of a connecting flight with American Airlines, and instead of helping me, they wanted to charge me $3,000 to catch the next flight out. They said it didn't matter who's fault it was. So my entire trip got cancelled. So I can't rate the flight, but unless you can guarantee you won't miss the flight, I would not recommend taking the risk of losing all your money and ruining your trip."

Cons: "The business class cabin was hot on both flights. That seemed to be a common complaint among the passengers we talked to. The Economy cabin seemed to be set quite a bit cooler."

Pros: "We had a connecting flight in Instanbul, Turkey, and a representative met us at our arrival gate from Rome and walked us through security and to our connecting flight to LAX. I thought that was great because we would've been completely lost if we had to do it on our own. Security check in was thorough. We had to go through security screening AGAIN (already did it in Rome and had to throw away our waters purchased in the airport), and two different lines for passport check. My husband had to go through a third security line because he had a carry-on. Boarding was well organized with passengers lining up by their boarding letter - no crowding - and people sitting at the back of the plane boarded first (after 1st class). The flight itself was great. The food was delicious. The orange juice tasted freshly squeezed. They gave us a water bottle, lots of current and blockbuster movies to choose from. They provided pillows, blankets, and earphones at no extra charge. Would definitely fly again."
Cons: "The seats were a little tight. They woke us when it was time to eat. Not sure why they didn't just let us sleep, and then give us our food when we woke up. Not really a big deal since I wanted to stay awake on the flight home, but I may have wanted to sleep."

Cons: "The seats area are too small my knees hurt as they hit just the edge of the food tray, impossible flight with the seat other than straight as you will be disturbing a lot the other passengers, although unfortunately some people do not care about the confort of the others"
