Pros:
Pros: Very good service. I have a bad knee and they did a good job of helping. Long layover is ok, they offer free hotel. Side benefit you can be a tourist for a short time.
Cons: Lounge could be improved. Does not compare to other Airlines Lounges.
Pros: Upgraded to business class for free and service was amazing.
Pros: 1. Friendly crew and attention 2. Affordable direct flight from LAX to XMN 3. Good timing
Cons: 1. Seat cushion is too thin, resulting in painful butt after 12-14 hrs flight 2. The in-seat screen doesn't tilt, thus when front passenger reclined seat, the screen is right in front of your face (less than 5-inches). You need to crank your neck down to watch any programming which results in neck pain 3. Entertainment and food have much room to improve
Pros: This leg was continuation of flight that began in Xiamen. Same plane and crew. 787 Dreamliner layout is efficient, generous legroom and recline is better than American carriers. Crew works as team, fast and courteous. Very helpful and professional, Water offered frequently, trash pick up kept cabin neat, bathrooms always clean. Passenger announcements are clear and crisp is English and Chinese.
Cons: Really, no complaints. More entertainment choices would be appreciated however is not my priority.
Cons: Did not have special meal boarded. Aisles in business class were too narrow for Rolling carry-ons.
Pros: New Airbus 350-900 with excellent nose wheel and tail forward view where we watched our takeoff and landing. Enough choices on entertainment system to satisfy one on a 15hr flight. Lots of self serve snacks and drinks mid-flight.
Cons: Flying in economics but that was my choice and long 4hr layover in HKG
Cons: Crew kept on dropping food and trash on me. I was on an aisle seat. Restrooms were not cleaned during flight. Too dirty. Food sucked.
Pros: Boarding in HK is efficient. Flight attendants are good.
Cons: My seat was broken. I couldn't lean back for the whole flight when the seat in front of me came down. It was like a prison cell. U got stuck with several younger kids. One of them cried almost half of the flight.
Pros: Still have not flown out of Vancouver...24 hours later. Flight was delayed because of fog apparently but all other planes were landing and my connection had just landed in it. They did a terrible job updating everyone, no announcements were made so people individually had to go up to the counter. Finally after 2.5 hours of delays they said they just decided to cancel the flight and there would be another one at 7am the next morning. Once everyone got to the check in counter with their luggage they had 2 people dealing with everyone and the line up was all the way down the airport. All they needed to do was gift hotel information which was alittle slip basically saying try one of these 3 hotels. The staff member I dealt with was so confused as to why i had my checked buggage eventhough all 100 people in line had theirs and we were told it would have to be rescheduled and tagged for the morning flight. Seemed crazy how someone who worked for the airline was very confused, I spent 5 minutes explaining it to her then she ran away for 5 to speak to her coworker and came back to say I was correct. They then told everyone who was connecting in Hong Kong to call this 888 number to book their connection. The number tells you to leave a voicemail if you’re basically not calling for accounting or finance! I left a voicemail...of course no call back. You can also reschedule online it says, so I tried and it tells me that my ticket number isn’t correct eventhough it is! It’s the same one on my boarding pass and on my electronic boarding ticket. I decided I’ll just have to wait till I’m at the airport for my 7am flight...wake up to go for the 7am flight and they have delayed it AGAIN until 4pm. We are staying at an airport hotel and you can here planes consistently flying in...not sure the issue. Overall, experience has not been a good one. Staff is confused and communication is poor. I’m feeling doubtful we will ever make it to Hong Kong and Bangkok at this point.
Cons: Only positive thing was that they put us up in a hotel because of the crazy delays.
Cons: The plane was COLD. The food was absolutely disgusting! The seats are small. Lacking in the movie department. I will not use Air China again.
Cons: No leg room. No new movies - like watching reruns
Pros: Crew very friendly
Cons: Seats are hard and uncomfortable
Pros: It was a very cheap flight, so flying the family back to NZ from the UK, for what we paid, it was great.
Cons: Plane food was quite average, on the first flight LHR-PEK flight the plane was a bit old and the entertainment system was nearly shot, but the second flight PEK-ALK was a dream liner, which was fantastic. For the price we paid, there was nothing we could complain about, would definitely flay again.
Pros: Lovely crew
Cons: Check-in was frustrating with split lines, late openings. Could not get boarding pass on kiosk or on website. Kayak is not user-friendly and does not seem to support online check-in. Would not recommend using it to others. Will not use it again.
Here's why:
We’re not the seller
At KAYAK we don’t set prices, so it’s not possible for us to guarantee what other companies are selling.
We aggregate tons of data for you
Our service lets you quickly and easily compare results from hundreds of travel sites at once. In this sense, KAYAK is a search engine and we don't guarantee prices we find.
Why aren’t prices accurate 100% of the time?
Prices on airline seats, hotel rooms and car hires can change frequently. Several people may also be trying to buy the same travel option simultaneously. As a result, you may find on occasion that certain prices are no longer available.
