Welp - they boarded us appropriately...then had us sit on the plane for over two hours before cancelling the flight...which meant another night in Munich. I probably had it a little better than most as over 500 people had to be accommodated/re-booked etc. The next day I boarded the same flight (for which I had now been ticketed 3 straight days) and - with "only" an hour delay, managed to finally get home over 2 days later than scheduled. I haven't flown Lufthansa to Europe in years...and I won't be looking to do so again in the future. To be clear, though, the people I interacted with - flight crew, Service Center, check-in were all professional and courteous - management is clearly to blame for their lack of communication and unpreparedness for when things go wrong.

Seat very cramped, could not recline. No cheese with meal. Staff very helpful.

Staff was very professional friendly food was okay i used the lufthansa app and it was great told me immediately what gate I should go i would fly with lufthansa anytime

Food was terrible. They ran out of options and gave me a bland undercooked pasta and veggies. Only middle seat was available to select although I paid extra. Baggage delayed at destination. Flight attendants not really helpful.

One one boarding scanner was working to scan 400+ passengers to an Airbus 380. Food in premium economy was mediocre.

As expected. Would have appreciated a 3-day headsup reminder as a reassurance that all is well.

This flight had way more space than my international flight which is just embarrassing

The flight crew was friendly and accommodating. I witnessed one of the flight attendants deal with a difficult flyer with extreme calm and compassion. I was so annoyed with the passenger and so impressed by the flight attendant. His quick action de-escalated what could have been a major incident. He was awesome.

I was told in Florence my bag would go directly to Indianapolis. I had to wait to get it. Then security in EWR was slow so I missed my flight as United would not allow me on the plane even though it was still on the tarmac and the door to the tunnel was open. I blame both Lufthansa and United for refusing to allow me on board a plane that was clearly still on the tarmac. Behind me two grandparents and their ten year old grandson were on same flight from Munich to EWR. They were refused to board the United flight. So we had to sit for 12 hours in airport until next flight. No compensation has been offered either by Lufthansa or United.

Flight was delayed and luggage was delivered day after arrival. In Bilbao they told me day after would be delivered faster if I went to Bilbao to get my own bags so I did. Wasted my morning.
