Cons: "Screwed again for carry on bag which I attempted to upgrade from 7kg to 10kg online, paid my €20 to learn at the gate that it changed from a "carry on" to a "to be checked in" bag. I was td I would have to pay another €25 to take it on board. I just refused and left my bag there with them. Tired of Ryanair deliberately screwing people fo add ons especially when there is no deliberate intention involved in the action. No empathy or understanding just screw the Customer at every opportunity. No longer a Ryanair Customer, its Service and Respect that I prefer,,,"
Cons: "Very bad service. Everything is bad"
Pros: "Staff is really fine."
Cons: "There was no food and drinks at the flight. Not even the water. Also I dont understand the point of priorirty biarding as 90% of passengers were on that row."
Pros: "The flight attendants were very friendly, courteous and professional."
Cons: "Literally everything from checking in to seat and baggage is unnecessarily monetized."
Cons: "Daylight robbery. I got charged 55pound for not checking in online 2 hrs before. I felt disgusted by this ridiculous amount as I had no idea. Really frustrated with your search engine and Ryan air for not making this very clear"
Cons: "Being told off for bringing my duty free bottle of wine an drinking it mid flight. They ran out of wine on way over. I didn’t see anywhere where you can’t drink your own beverage??? Was quite embarrassing I have to say. I drank it anyway. What was I supposed to do with it??"
Cons: "Awful experience with Latvian staff during boarding. Luggage passed weight and size inspection from Milan to Riga. It has also passed inspection in Riga, but was checked again during boarding. Staff did not want to work with us and penalized my kid by charging him 53 Euro luggage fee. Disappointed that some staff members have suaded us to never fly Ryanair again"
Pros: "Reasonably priced. Check in was quick and easy. Boarding was easy"
Cons: "Seats are very cramped and uncomfortable. I’m 179cm and it’s a tight enough squeeze for in the seats."
Pros: "Late departure, easy checkin, waited 10-15 minutes after landing for ground crew to have stairs for us to exit plane."
Cons: "Bag policy is not clear. We had two guitars so we paid for two bags then i found out there is musical instruments charge which is 50 euro per instrument. It’s a discrimination against musicians. Huge sporting goods fee is cheaper than that. Also there is no phone number to call. I asked about refund at ryan air check in desk and nobody knows what we should do. Ryanair makes it so easy for customers to pay add on fees but they won’t refund you when you pay by mistake. Total non sense."
Pros: "Not much"
Cons: "We boarded on time but ended up 30 minutes late due to the staff running around like headless chickens, seemed very unorganised. Guy making announcements on the plane spoke so fast you couldn’t understand a word. Engine made a terrible buzzing noise for half the flight, so loud you had to shout to hear anyone."
Pros: "Absolute nothing!"
Pros: "we did not receive the boading check in pass even we did an online check in and end up we have to pay 55pounds extra"
Cons: "My husband and I flew with RyanAir 3 times in two weeks. This was the third time, and it was the worst! When we were about to board, a staff person approached us and said that out carryon bags (which RyanAir tags and checks, anyway) were too large. We'd carried the same bags with the same items in them for all of our flights with RyanAir with no issues. But this time, the staff insisted that we had to pay to check the bags. We removed items from our luggage and put them in our backpacks, which only made the staff upset because they were unable to charge us. One of the staff members began yelling at me and told me she was doing us a favor by not making us pay (though our bags were the right size and met the airline's standards). She told me to be quiet and not argue with the staff, otherwise she'd charge me. If this were in America, I would have spoken to her manage and filed a complaint. I don't know the process in Germany, so I let it be. I felt disrespected and angered. During the flight, I asked a crew member for a fork or spoon. He said he'd bring it to me in a minute. After 15 minutes, he had not returned with it, so I asked another crew member, who told me that there were no spoons or forks. I replied that the airline serves hot meals that require utensils and asked if I could have one of those. He insisted that the airline accounts for every utensil and refused to provide me with one. The woman sitting behind me leaned forward and handed me a spoon. She explained that another crew member had given her the spoon, though she had not asked for it. She was confused and now realized that the spoon was intended for me-- he'd handed it to the wrong passenger. This made it obvious that the other crew member had lied to me. Overall, this was one of the worst flight experiences I'd ever had. I would not recommend RyanAir to anyone, and would actively dissuade people from flying with this airline if asked for my opinion."
Pros: "the flight and the flight crew were quite good and professional."
Cons: "The way we were gathered up like sheep at the departure lounge. There was one person who acted like a mini hitler, scolding people if they dared to cross the line. An unpleasant experience."
Pros: "Prompt departure and arrival in Belfast. Brand new aircraft was a bonus."
Cons: "The white wine I got was undrinkable. I told the strewart working at the back of the aircraft that ' the white wine is terrible, it's like drinking water and indrinkable'. His reply was ' well that's what you ordered'. I expected him to say; Sorry you found it like that and I will pass your comments to the catering company. this may sound like a trivial thing to comment on but I found his attitude very unprofessional. My wife and I also found the staircase from ground level to the corridor leading to passport control very demanding when carrying a 10 kilo roller case each. There is a lift somewhere but there are no directions to indicate where it is situated."
Cons: "Flight was delayed."
Pros: "That it took off and landed. That's all."
Cons: "Being made to queue for almost an hour, with staff seeing and allowing people to push in front because they had a child (over 5y.o) with no regard for people who queued. Staff then came from the back to the front of the queue telling people they had to put their carry-on luggage in the hold. When questioned why, the response was "you either do it or we won't let you fly. You don't like it? What do you want? It's Ryanair, deal with it." Very disappointing, flown many times with Ryanair but never been treated like that. Also disgusted with the new policy of having to pay to sit next to your partner of the same booking. Disgusting."
Pros: "Everything. Staff was wonderful."
Pros: "The price"
Cons: "Delayed again!"
Pros: "Good punctual flights."
Pros: "Safe journey!"
Pros: "One crew member was genuinely nice!"
Cons: "Ryanair have found yet another way to squeeze some money out of you - book two or more tickets together and rather than sitting together, they'll ensure you are randomly allocated seats away from each other! Of course for some extra money, you can "enjoy" sitting together. Pathetic."
Cons: "Having to pay extra on top of fare to sit beside my own wife!!"
Cons: "Check in was a hassle. Had to go through the line twice. The machine wouldn't read my electronic boarding pass. I wasn't the only one."
Cons: "Allocation of seats saw my wife in 5c and myself in 31d. 31e was vacant."
Pros: "Easy to check in online right time boarding and arrival ahead of time. No problems. I wonder why some people call queueing and check-in at airport "normal". If they enjoy it - it is fai to charge them extra."
Cons: "Still could do with just another couple of inches more space."
Cons: "2hr 30 minute delay with no information or vouchers"
Pros: "Row 1 seating"
Cons: "40 mins late"
Cons: "£50 x2 charge for not being checked in We checked in 24hrs before hand but they said it wasn't on the system When we checked in we checked our bags in and choose our seats. Absolutely disgusting a £17 flight ended up over £200"
Pros: "Cheap and cheerful great service very efficient"
Cons: "Very bumpy landing at Glasgow"
Pros: "Crew's attention. Flight's punctuality and price."
Cons: "No entertainment on board."
Cons: "Delayed flight , loads of drunks onboard and very noisy"
Cons: "This was my first Ryan Air flight. It was nearly two hours late to take off - while said the pilot was informative, we were treated like cattle. We were made to wait on the tarmac in the freezing cold sleet, where my shoes became soaked in puddles and I was unable to get warm for several hours after. It felt disorganized and amateur."
Cons: "The female staff member at the gate was extremely loud and rude and tried to charge £50 to get a luggage bag put into the hold after her colleague had approached and offered this service to my friend. She was extremely embarrassed and offended as the staff member insisted that she place the item into a bag measure. The interaction was unnecessary and unwelcome as my friend had not sked for the kind gesture made by the first staff member. As we were seated in the back row, we were subjected to the raucous behaviour of two of the cabin crew members throughout the entire flight which included discussing particular passengers on the flight including their seat numbers and their personal 'differences' with other cabin crew members whom they would be flying with today! The behaviour of the male and female crew members, both of whom appeared to be American, was nothing short of embarrassing for Ryanair and utterly unprofessional, even during service the couple appeared oblivious to the passengers as they carried on in their interactions with each other. It appeared that the only person who was actually working was the attendant at the front of the plane who I believe may have been the flight manager. A fellow passenger even commented that the couple must have been smoking something before the flight to explain this behaviour. Having flown with Ryanair on many occasions and having recommended them to friends and family in the past, we were bitterly disappointed with both these issues and would suggest that they re-examine their customer care!!"
Cons: "Boarding/delay etc was shambles did not get on flight had to get flight next day at my expense at cost of over £240"
Pros: "Personnel is very friendly. Priority boarding is indeed priority boarding. Reserving your seat really makes a difference. Total extra cost: 66€."
Cons: "It's not really a comfortable way of travel; it's like taking the bus instead of a train. But this we knew up front, of course. I was a little surprised by the total price, because everything costs extra."
Pros: "That we landed safely"
Cons: "We, along with many other people in the ticketing line were told to get a ticket voucher from another kiosk that we were unaware of. This is ridiculous. My wife and I paid over 300 euro just to take a 40 minute flight. I feel like this is a trick for the airline to make lots of money."
Cons: "I asked to have my ticket moved up two days which it was for a flight that wasn't full and was flying out in a hour but instead of using me to fill a seat and use my old ticket to sell they charged me a fee to change the date which was more than I originally paid for the first ticket then I had to pay for baggage wasn't included in my ticket like other airlines do. I was not the only one another guy at the counter was being charged extra for something stupid. He also stated he would not be doing business with Ryan Air again. I also will not recommend them to anyone. My flight was an hour late departing and we never were told why when I asked I was told don't worry about it in a very rude tone by the Flight attendant. During the flight it was more like a sales pitch over and over being asked if we wanted to buy refreshments instead of them being provided like other airlines. They also tried to sell me make up and perfume lastly they bothered us about donating to charities. It was a 1020pm-1120pm flight I would of loved to sleep or relax with it being so late not be hounded for money."
Cons: "The fact that they charged me over €16 to print my boarding pass at the check in counter was absurd. Not only did I have to pay this ridiculous fee but I had to go to a separate counter to wait in another line to make the payment. While I understand fees for "additional" services, charging for a boarding pass is beyond preposterous."
Cons: "Why did I pay for priority boarding? It didn't give me any sort of priority! And then we sat on a wretchedly hot flight for 40 minutes before leaving."
Pros: "We arrived on time."
Cons: "The very very long wait and queue checking in at Gate 11"
Pros: "Right price, good aeroplane, 2nd item of hand luggag"
Cons: "2 hours late Made to go to holding pen, even though the incoming plane hadn't taken off Ground crew severely understaffed No toilet or food facilities in holding pen Not enoughseats in pen Drip fed inaccurate and ambitious information In flight crew give information but spoke so fast and in such poor English they could not be understood"
Cons: "Unruly Irish football fans. Loud, obnoxious. When we landed in LGW 10 stood up to exit while the plane was still moving. Delayed exit."
Cons: "We got to the airport over two hours ahead of time and were told since we hadn't checked in we had to go across the lobby and pay 60 more euros. I explained we didn't have a printer and the system wouldnt give us a boarding pass. He went on line and checked us in but couldn't print it so it would cost us 30 Euros. What a scam!! We will probably have to do the same going back since they dont accept foreign travelers using phone boarding passes. Will never use them again."
Cons: "Late, with very little communication by the Gatwick staff."
