Cons: "In this fairly new plane, the rows of seats are so close together, the leg room is minimal. When the tray is lowered, you feel completely squashed in the seat. The food trays are not picked up quickly after eating."

Pros: "Crew were helpful and attended to any needs that we requested. As I am a big person the seat is never that comfortable but Singapore Airlines seating is more spacious than other companies I have flown with."

Pros: "The cabin crew were fantastic. Food was abundant. Most boarding systems worked well. Choosing seats was confusing on website so we were allocated seating. The newer planes had a fantastic touch screen entertainment system. The seats on the newer planes were much more comfortable and roomy"

Cons: "It is so annoying they want you to pay an extra $20 to pre book any seat. If you need the extra $20 that much, charge me in the original fare! Don't nickel and dime me. At check in they couldn't even get my child seated beside me although a change was made last minute at the gate. Every other airline I've flown recently was better. Sri Lankan and Emirates FAR better service."

Cons: "Ran out of options for dinner and could not eat the macaroni cheese they had on offer, so got 2 small packets of nuts instead...international flight running out of food options? Pretty slack. A part of the interior wall fell off onto my foot upon take off and I had to hold it in place for a while until a hostess came....doesn’t give you the best feeling when the plane starts breaking on take off. One of the male stewards was appalling towards a young mum I sat next too...too the extent of giving her dirty looks because she spilled a bit of water on the seat and then told her she had to pack everything away she was using, including the baby wipes! I stepped in and told him how this was not ok and all other staff members were helpful and he was making this Mum upset. He should not be working for such a people friendly reputable airline! Maybe Jetstar instead! Was appalled at the entire flight to be honest!"

Cons: "Crew was very poor in responding to any requests. I am usually very quite and light on demands as i hardly hit call button on the seat to get any assistance, but during meal, I was asked about drink and I opted for Ginger ale. Crew said, she will get back to me and I did not hear from her for another 10 mins, then there was repeat serve of drinks and I was asked if i needed any thing and asked the same drink, but then I was asked to wait. After I had finished off my meal and ready to go to sleep, someone was bringing my drink out and I then respectfully say no to it as it was bit late after the meal and asked for water instead and did not like the look on the face of the crew member. I saw it happening with other passengers as well and was under the impression, the whole crew performance was pretty poor and SIA was not up to its high-standards as I always like to fly with them. I will look for different option next time"

Cons: "The seats and entertainment system on our flight were in need of an upgrade. The seat padding was well worn and uncomfortable. The entertainment system is one of the old “pop-out the remote from the armrest” ones with a very average interface and display."

At night when I was hungry, I asked the flight attendant for some snack, both a male and a female served at my cabin said, "we don't have that." I expected SQ staff to serve one step further, instead of stopping at a no. Can't you recommend something? Throughout the entire trip, whenever I asked something, the way they answered always made me feel that I was a trouble to them. Is it because I was in an economy class and that's how you treat me? SQ, you may want to change what you are proud of. It's no longer a first class service, at least not to us poor economy class passengers."

I was placed in the back row all the way to my destination and all the way home. I vomited 8 times and felt very sick. I did notice that there were many seats available in the front of the plane but they are never given out as women with babies and children always get them and then single travellers like myself are made sit in the back. I travel a lot, I usually fly Qantas and they are very good at providing seats closer to the front. I will be reluctant to fly Singapore Airlines again due to the fact that they were not accommodating at all."

It was clean and neat on top at any time. I love flying with Singapore airlines. I feel safe and in good hands all around. This is how service should be at any airline! My flight schedules were changed few days before departure by Qatar Airways, but only thing I had to do was to confirm that I have noted, my seats and all the rest of details intact, excellent."

Pros: "Flight Attendants were really helpful especially when one of my child had a nose bleed, we had at least 3 attendants, tending to our needs when that happened and they did not leave until the situation was resolved."

Cons: "The first flight from KTM the TV didn't work and I didn't fit into the seat. The most uncomfortable seat in a long time. The second flight from Doh to JFK was not good. I was put through 3 security checks when I already went through security in KTM. On the 3rd check my Dutyfree whiskey was taken from me because they would not let me take it in my carry on. They said I could take it if I checked my carry on bag (one backpack). My carry on has everything I need for a 16 hour flight. Plus, I had my very expensive camera gear in there too so I could not do this. This was unfair and Qatar needs to step up and return my Dutyfree whiskey and reimburse for the flight without TV. I will never suggest Qatar to anyone."

No justification or any reason were given to us. We are travelling with a baby. We had to get a taxi to return to our home and return back to the airport after 4.5 hours. Called qatar airways and send them a xomplaint email. No one cared to answer. The worst flight ever. Will never go with qatar airways anymore"

You don't even serve water on the airplane which is ridiculous! Your flight crew were nice but you really need to be on time or not schedule flights with such short layover times!"

Cons: "We were late to our outbound flight due to our other flight being delayed from weather. We went to the ticket desk area, which was closed and were directed to another help desk. Once at the front the attendent refused to help us and sent us to another desk at the other end of the terminal. After waiting in another long line, the attendent told us we had missed all flights to Edinburgh. There lack of staff and customer service caused us to miss all flights and trains into Edinburgh. On top of that, we were notified our flight back to London would be cancelled because we missed our outbound flight and that she could not provide us with any credits or refunds that we would need to call customer service. We lost the money we spent on our Edinburgh hotel and had no way to get to our vacation."

Cons: "We had a carry on and were flying business class. They made us check in the bag but it was clear that it could fit. They said it was a busy flight so we had to give our bag up to check in. We arrived on the plane and there was plenty of space to put our luggage. It was not a friendly experience especially paying the premium to fly business. They were very direct and non forgiving. Crew on board were nice though!"

Cons: "Security at Edinburgh was tough for thise of us not used to the 'clear bag' policy. One steward (German guy? ) seemed to be in a permanant bad mood. And once we got to Heathrow, the jet bridge did not work, so we could see our luggage leaving the plane before we did!"

Cons: "The queuing process was not efficient, the packing of people on a shuttle bus was dangerous with the number of people squashed onto the bus and then we had to wait on the bus for quite a while for the determination to be made that the flight was ready. Once on the flight, the hanging flap that separates the first class from economy, was loosely hanging and rattled fiercely and on lift-off swung back toward our faces. We had to pay 4 pounds for a coke and weird coffee. Then we had to circle London while we waited to land because of the IT mess in London."

Cons: "Had to purchase even coffee, no complimentary anything."

Pros: "The food was acceptable and served in a timely, efficient way. The entertainment options were very good and the system easy to use."
Cons: "The seats were extremely uncomfortable due to being so narrow and also very little leg room. I was in the second seat in a 4-seat row and had difficulty getting through the space to seat myself. I'm a person of average size. On a six hour flight this becomes very irritating."

Cons: "Air conditioning did not work in my section of the cabin The entertainment center felt like a 1960s generation VCR, esp the navigation and video quality. The selection was terrible. Food was terrible and unhealthy. Toilet seemed to have an air leak, extremely noisy air being sucked down sink. Aircraft appeared old and obsolete."

Pros: "Friendly crew. Plane was new and clean. Entertainment selections were good. Lots of food and drink served. Lots infomercial space for carry on bags."
Cons: "Seating is cramped in Coach. The headrests on the seats have a tendency to push your head forward when the seat is in an upright position. When the seat in front of you reclines, it is difficult to cross your legs or reach for something stored under the seat. It seems to me that given how long passengers are in their seats on overseas trips, that seating should be more comfortable."

Pros: "Poor entertainment - food not very good. Didn’t look as though there was concern regarding recycling plastics and metal. We should all be aware of the importance, especially in the airline industry who handle so much recyclable materials."

Cons: "The seats seem to be tight. I’m only 120kbs and 5’ and yet I’m having a hard time squeezing into my seat. The food was ok. Entertainment is a big zero. The plane is okd style."

Cons: "Checking in, the counter agent first told us we would need a visa to go to the USA. We are American citizens. Then she insisted that we buy checked bag allowance even though our tickets already included checked bags. We had already flown the 1st leg with checked baggage, why would we purchase tickets with no baggage allowance coming home?! The stroller we gate checked was left at the end of the oversized baggage carousel because of the ground crew not wanting to unload gate checked items. I will never EVER fly an AA codeshare flight."

Pros: "New economy extra for those of us with elite FF status was awesome and made a long flight comfortable"
Cons: "The entertainment system on these planes need to be updated. It's really unacceptable today to have everyone forced to watch the same movie in the ceiling, forgot about pausing for toilet breaks. This one they showed one movie and then we were forced to endure snippets and NBC shows that I can't imagine anyone watching. What happened to the second movie? They supposedly had entertainment that you could watch on your phone or tablet, but it was only tv shows as well?!"

Cons: "Trying to make any changes to the booking or check in was horrible. Because this was booked through kayak, then through an agent, then ultimately an Iberia booking on a British Airways / American flight, it took about 5 rounds of phonecalls being passed to another company or another department to get anything done. Sure the flight was cheap, but 6 hours of phone calls to get anything done is unacceptable. The plane used for this flight is ancient. Very tired seating, and no seatback entertainment. One children's film shown on the central TV screen followed by old sitcoms....For a transatlintic flight, this is really poor."

Cons: "Lost connection because previous flight was too late , had long wait. The space in the seat on the plane were quite small and the plan looked old, or not updated. It didn't have individual screen monitor for entertainment , which I think nowadays is expected; especially for a coast to coast flight."

Pros: "The flight was calm and clean. Not much turbulence. The flight staff was polite and there was plenty of room."
Cons: "The food was horrible and the seats were a little uncomfortable but everything else was pretty good"

Cons: "Briish Airways does not fly to JFK from Edinburgh. I paid for a flight that apparently did not exist. I had to purchase another flight from another airline on top of the flight that I booked with Kayak. I was supposed to fly to my original airport, but I had to fly to a tiny little airport upstate and pay for a bus to get me back to NYC. I doubt I'll see any of that money I lost in the initial transaction..."

Pros: "I paid extra for the bulkhead seats for the leg room, and it was worth it. In general, it was an easy flight."

Cons: "They didn't send our luggage leaving Gatwick so it was never on the plane to NYC. We got our luggage 2 days later with no form of compensatory damages to our trip. It was an American airlines plane not British airways. I don't know if I will ever fly out of Gatwick or use British airways again."

Pros: "Other passengers were friendly?"
Cons: "I was traveling alone with my tired, cranky 13 month old. I get that it's no fun for anyone, including me, to have a tired toddler on the flight! But from the moment we boarded the flight attendant was unfriendly and unhelpful. I asked for help putting a heavy bag in the overhead compartment. She half-heartedly tried and then told me it "didn't fit". By simply turning it on its side, I was able to easily make it fit, but it was uncomfortable for me to have to do so while also holding my baby! The flight attendant then commented that I couldn't have the child in a carrier during the flight (something I am well aware of!). She also neglected to offer us a snack later on. Overall, she was rude and inconsiderate and made a difficult trip more unpleasant."
