Both Lufthansa and my travel agency pointed the finger at the other and I had to purchase another $1000 ticket to get home. There was no cancellation emails or any notification. I didn’t know my tixkets were cancelled until I was trying to check in. Worst experience ever!!"

Then, the delivery company (Direct Courier Services) Lufthansa uses was completely inept and unprofessional - every single one of their employees is a complete moron. We didn't end up getting our baggage for two and half days so we were wearing the same clothes that we left Germany with. Then, after being told by Lufthansa customer service to submit receipts for clothes we had to buy, never got reimbursed or even the courtesy of a reply. After flying Lufthansa for over a decade, will never use this airline again. Epic fail."

Cons: "The flight was late in departing and then rerouted from Frankfurt to Manchester causing many passengers to loose connection. The reasongiven was a crew scheduling issue. Compensation upon arrival at Frankfurt was nil unless you asked and if you did you got an insulting 7 euros which barely even paid for coffee. No apology to people given just a "business as usual, it is your problem attitude". At arrival in Frankfurt there was a pass the buck attitude where any questions of connecting flights, and reroutes was forwarded to a Lufthansa counter that was NOT manned by anyone. Very frustrated."

Pros: "I like to fly LH on the BOS to FRA route as they are the only carrier to fly this route nonstop. Usually the service is quite good. The crew is attentive, offers water or juice repeatedly, gives you a warm moist handcloth before the mealservice to clean your hands. Check-in in FRa can be tedious becaiuse of long lines."
Cons: "LH experienced several strikes in the last two years or so. Once I had to stay an extra day, this time I had to cut a family visit a day short. While they handled the rebooking in both cases quite efficiently, not everyone might have the flexibility to change days so easily. It is also disappointing when one has to give up on a planned activity to make it back home on time. Movie selection could be updated and I miss having an actual newspaper or magazine to read on the long flight. Will have to pack my own oin the future."

Cons: "I AM A HANDICAPPED CUSTOMER. MY FIRST FLIGHT FROM BOLOGNA TO FRANKFORT WAS FINE. NO PROBLEMS. WHEN WE LANDED IN FRANKFORT THEY WOULD NOT LET ME OFF THE PLANE SINCE THERE WAS AN ERROR HAVING A WHEELCHAIR AND A LIFT TO MEET THE PLANE. I SAT ON THE PLANE FOR 45 MINUTES BEFORE THE ISSUE WAS RESOLVED. I GOT TO THE TERMINAL AND WE WATCHED AS THE PILOT CLOSED THE DOORS OF OUR CONNECTING FLIGHT 35 MINUTES PRIOR TO TAKE OFF. NEEDLESS TO SAY WE MISSED THAT FLIGHT. WE WERE BOOKED ON A LATER FLIGHT WITH UNITED. THIS CREATED MORE PROBLEMS THAN I HAVE SPACE TO WRITE. I AM 70 YEARS OLD AND HANDICAPPED. YOUR INCOMPETENCE CAUSED MY WIFE AND I NUMEROUS PROBLEMS I WILL NEVER FLY YOUR AIRLINE AGAIN. I KNOW THIS WILL FALL ON DEAF EARS. I WOULD APPRECIATE A RESPONSE."

This is a first for me, as every other plane I've ever been on has air vents that the passenger can position to direct cool air. This airplane lacks these! For some reason our area of the plane in row 35 was so hot. It must have been 80F and air was not moving. It seems like other areas of the plane may have been cooler."

Lufthansa customer service in Munich was excellent--courteous and informative. We did not have to negotiate for lodging and other amenities while we waited for the next day's flight. Lufthansa provided for us with grace, including hotel, dinner, breakfast and the shuttle to and from the airport. The accommodations were excellent and we adjusted to our new departure time in comfort."

I suspect they would argue it allows passengers to have greater rest however in Y class the passengers are awake long before......could I suggest serving the snack earlier as it prevents a very rushed service as trays are collected and cabin secured very near to the actual landing?"

The flight crew i found to be very rude with and had an attitude. The biggest shock was the greetings and all announcements were in English accept the safety rules where the pre-recorded tape was played. If asked about the return flight from Halifax to Montreal, one word to describe it "disaster". I was totally turned off with WestJet. I will for sure continue using Porter as I was always pleased with there service. As they say "you get what you pay for"."

I don’t always enjoy flying and have some anxiety, so entertainment like movies or shows helps get me through flights. This flight was harder because I didn’t know that option wouldn’t be available."

Cons: "There was an issue with plane's landing gear so we were delayed by over 2 hours (where we just sat in the plane on the tarmac) and we had to fly with the landing gear down the whole time. This meant we had to fly at 12,000 feet the whole time so it took longer, no luggage was brought on the plane, and passengers had to be moved around to redistribute weight, but we were never really told why or what was going on in terms of how it all worked which was quite scary. I'd say close to half the passengers actually got off the plane because they didn't feel safe flying. We got in over 4 hours later than anticipated with 0 luggage. Overall the flight was very scary and now we have no luggage. Had the option of having out luggage delivered the next day or a $100 travel credit. No credit or any compensation if the luggage was delivered."

After my arriving flight got in 2 hours late and sat on the runway for 45 minutes because there was too many planes in the way for my plane to get to the gate I was not in the mood to run across the airport to go through customs and then through security (for the second time). However in order to make it onto this final flight that's exactly what I had to do. I also might add that it is incredibly stupid that connecting flights have to go through security again after deplaning, it's not like we're suddenly going to have weapons or anything so why waste that time? After I sprinted across the airport and got onto the plane the pilot announced that we were waiting to hear from the airport to take off. Long story short the poor pilot was trying to figure out what was going on but no one was even answering his calls. Eventually he realized that the plane hadn't been refueled and had to get a hole of them to refuel. At one point he must have gotten really frustrated because he left the plane in search of answers as the Toronto airport wasn't giving him any. Eventually after 2 hours of sitting on the plane we refueled and took off. On top of that my travel partner didn't get her luggage, we assumed that the Toronto airport lost it somewhere or something. Overall a complete nightmare."

Cons: "There are two types of foot-rests, both are a nuisance for people with long legs. The one popping up from below one's seat is extremely hard to put back in place. The metallic one folding down from under the seat in front cannot be secured back and is always in the way if the passenger needs to stretch his/her legs. This seems to be a new appliance, and I jut wish they would do away with it altogether. More is not necessarily better."

Cons: "Air France is not a low fare airlines, I had to pay 225 USD against 3 luggages which is not acceptable. We should have the right for one luggage per ticket as all other airlines. If I knew this will happen, I wouldn’t use Air France and this will be the last time I buy a ticket on Air France"

Cons: "After boarding began there was a backup after the gate en route to the plane. No explanation. The plane left an hour later than scheduled but seemed to arrive close to scheduled time."

Pros: "The gate reps from CDG to MSP were professionals. The cabin crew on the Delta flight were exceptional! This was not my experience in Copenhagen with the Air France staff, they seemed to be self centered and rude."
Cons: "Delta please make excellence a priority in all areas of customer service. Set high standards for staff so customers know that you appreciate them and are ready for business. The world is at the customer's fingertips, let their first choice be Delta. When their are bad days, customers will understand"

Cons: "Entertainment system had to be rebooted as it did not work Small screen handset was not working for the entire flight food selection was not as big as KLM or China Eastern Bathroom on board was smaller than KLM or China Eastern which meant changing into more comfortable clothing for the night flight"

Cons: "flight was delayed by 20 minutes Boarding got me through Sky priority quickly. Had to then wait in the boarding tunnel as the cabin was not ready. large queue Seats were exactly the same as economy so offered no added benefits apart from the meal on board parked in a distant area of the terminal and had to shuttle bus to 2E which meant a very tight transfer"
