It happened to me, in spite of the wifi connection at the airport. Some airlines would put up an electronic notification for the change at previously known Gate. It's also possible to miss Airport voice messages due to temporary impairments travellers suffer from the previous flight. You can call out a passenger for all you want and still miss passing out the message."

From the two meals served to the alcohol option I didn't choose, to the entertainment options on the screens to the attendants onboard. I can't find one fault with this process. I saved hundreds of dollars through this site! I'm currently only to my original destination and will update when I've returned to American soil."

Cons: "I missed flight to Los Angeles because of laziness and carelessness of Lufthansa employees. I came with the train on 12/26/16 at 8:33 am to catch flight to Los Angeles at 10:05 am. I had plenty of time. As soon as got of the train I got into line to check my luggage. I had boarding pass already. Line to check luggage was huge with 2-3 clerks to check luggage for all US flights. After while I complained that I will miss flight to several clerk who were standing around talking on the phones all the time but answer, if I got one was, sir you will be fine. After one hour I got to security check line which was equally long. I complained again no response. With probably 20 minutes left I cut the line on my one mad as hell. I got at 10:00 am at the gate and some older lady was like " Sorry sir we closed the flight". I said "What do you mean, it is 10 am and flight is at 10:05am??? "Sir we sold your ticket" I couldn't believe her words. Anyway they sent me to Munich to catch flight to LA next day. Best part I HAD TO PAY HOTEL IN MUNICH BECAUSE LUFTHANSA DID WANT TO COVER EXPENSES. I don't know what happened to famous German organizational skills or this is just Lufthansa and her careless employees."

The flight was actually 2/3 full with plenty of empty seats and empty bin space. Most passengers had 2pieves of hand luggage. So I had to wait for luggage at the end of the flight when I could have easily stored it overhead."

Since we were connecting to an International flight to return to the US there was no possibility we would be able to get to the International terminal through security and board our flight in the time available. So, Lufthansa staff met the connecting passengers as we disembarked, shuttled us via bus to the International terminal and ensured we made our connection. Finally, for airline food it was quite good (Vegan)."

I was assured there would be no problems. Upon boarding they were not able to get on their flight. Consequently I got to the boarding gate right when they were closing. Consequently I lost all my connections from then on. The United Airlines was very empathizing with me and my situation and they issued me other boarding passes at no cost. United Airlines suggested me to tell the Austrian Airlines about what happened and they were sure the Austrian Airlines would understand but they were wrong; no understanding on behalf of the Austrian Airlines."

We had to wait 10 hours in VIE & given €12 for food. AA cited "rotational issues". Shockingly, Austrian Air delayed the 2nd flight by another hour "to wait for someone". We had to cancel the show. Really angry"

Eventho I have marked it on my ticket I need kosher food it wasn't available. It is upsetting. It would be a must at every company, regardless of the service to have name tags for the employees!!! Mostly the flight attendants were kind, but as soon as i asked for something it seemed like they don't want to help or work at all. I understand I have traveled on the economy class but shouldn't make a difference how you treat the travelers. The pillows were dirty!!!!! Not only one, because I have asked for more......most of them! It is disgusting! Something must have been wrong with the headphones because the volume was on max when i tried to watch the move but barely could hear anything. I have flew with Lufthansa most of the time and in the future will chose them. Very disappointing that sooo many little things are interrupting a vacation."

I inquired about paying to change destination city and or seat to a premium seat (for the 9+ hour flight) when I recvd the reservations for the new flights that were made at the airport around 8am for flights that left at around noon and 3pm. I was told no better seat(s) was available. However, a half hour before the flight was boarded several announcements were made regarding all the upgrades that were available. Liars annoy me."

After that, we had to get back in a long line and the lady didn’t mentioned that she can check in our luggage’s. With that being said, we had to go back to other encounter to pay for checked in luggage. We paid almost $200 for checking in and luggage. How stupid is that? We and other customers in line all said we felt it’s the rip off. We come to Ireland for vacation and expected it would be welcome and nice. This turned us off. Never fly with this airlines again. Thumbs down!!!"

I can't tell you about the staff because I never saw anyone that worked there"

OH! And it's almost DOUBLE if you pay for it at the airport where you can weigh it then if you do it online! And take caution! Our bags that are considered carry on size are still too big for this airline do you will forced to check Them! This is obviously how they offset their inexpensive tickets! The cost of the ticket, once you add in all the other unexpected expenses in order to actually get on the flight, was NOT worth the "cheap" tickets we got! That's the only reason we decided to fly to Ireland while on our trip to the U.K. Had we known it would cost this much we never would have come to Ireland for two days!!"

Pros: "I arrived safely without a scratch. The entire crew were very nice. Things were clean. There were no screens for the addicted. I got some sleep before the announcements and sales kicked in on the short flight."
Cons: "Gate was changed after initial assignment. I wouldn't have known if I hadn't sat almost in front of the counter and overheard a customer there saying my flight. I asked someone even closer to the counter if that's the gate, and was told no. There aren't even display boards at the counter so you really have to check. The right gate ended up on the opposite end of the airport, so I wasted a trip and a half, in a way. The previous flight was late, so we boarded half an hour late. We were warned to wait another half an hour on the tarmac but luckily got out in less than half that time. There was no liquid soap in the toilet. I unscrewed the bottle (they really save money and the environment there), put in hot water, and was able to get the soap I needed."
Pros: "Counter agent was excellent, friendly and professional, she even helped us get our carry-on properly assigned to go on the plane when the Nazi-like fellow, Ali, at the terminal insisted that unless it fit in that grossly undersized test frame the airlines like to use, we would have to pay an additional 35€, to get it checked. Our lovely counter agent came to our aid and spoke sense to Ali with a verbal slap about the head-free entertainment-, helping to put some semblance of joy into the experience that is flying Ryanair. If I have a choice, Ryanair would never be it. Crew was lovely allowing my wife and I to sit together after not being able to do so online without more stupid fees."
Cons: "See diatribe above. If you can discern what to do better from above, excellent, if not, it matters not as I will make it my personal mission to inform all and sundry about the horrors of Ryanair travel. Your airline makes Sleazy Jet seem like top shelf."

But when we arrived at Stanstead we waited a long time to get off of the plane, and the bags from the hold were not released for another hour and a half after landing, with no recogition of this or apology for the wait."

I had previously paid for checked bags and to reserve seats. Sneaky way for an airline to sucker people out of money. Have flown Ryan air before. Will never again. Unfortunate. Staff was welcoming and flight was comfortable. Not a reflection of employees. 100% reflection of upper management."

My friends guy was also nasty and he insinuated that she would have to go downstairs and possibly miss the flight to go fill something out. It all need to be more clear before boarding"

Cons: "forced to hand in cabin bag just before allowed on aircraft. i was travelling with children and this had our food, activities etc. this would not have been so bad had i been given a carrier bag to pur some item in....i was not, andhad to stuff my valuables and a limited amount of food and activties into a torn, dirty carrier bag i found. complaints to ryanair online led to a standard reply that only the first 90 cabin bags go on board. i was not aware of this before i traveeled and would have come more prepared had i known....which i did do on my return trip. this time i was allowed to check in 3 out of my 6 hand luggage but not the other three (we were 6 people travelling) even though i was all prepared to check them in and had not checked that i did not have sharp items and liquid in them. therefore, becasue i was not allowed to chekc them in, i had these items confiscated when i went through security, losing a valuable pair of hairdressing scissors. i wish Ryanair would be more consistent with their polices (i was only allowed to check in three bags becasue i had only paid for 3 suitcases)....but then was forced to chekc the other three in right before entering the aircraft!!! cheap does not need to be unfair!"
Pros: "I liked the fact that my initial ticket was a good value. I liked arriving safely and on time. A Ryanair attendant took me under her wing and made sure I made my flight, without her, I would not have made it. I am thankful for her."
Cons: "Ryanair is not for the uninitiated. Nor for those who don't read the fine print. My baggage fees were not included, nor were the extra heavy baggage fees. My flight change fees were also as much money as my initial ticket. I almost missed my flight because of the extra time required to add in and pay for all of these fees. All told, at the end of the experience, I ended up spending 400% of the cost of my initial ticket. Be wary, be informed, read the fine print, and then be prepared for shamelessly overt marketing, uncaring bored male flight attendants, and a shabby dirty plane covered in cheap vinyl and bill boards. Next time I will pay any price to avoid this experience."
