"Anyone that purchased a Delta 1st Class seat should have access to the Delta Sky Club. My wife and I purchased 1st Class tickets for a Delta flight from SeaTac to Washington Dulles but were denied entrance to the SeaTac Delta Sky Club because we did have an American Express card."

Apparently Delta had not told the Detroit-Boston flight to wait a few minutes for us. We did make the connection, but we arrived at the gate with no seat assignment (we had been bumped the day before from our original flight because of a mechanical problem) as the plane was loading. Had we missed the flight, we would have had to spend the night in Detroit and go to Boston the next day. Delta should have told the gate agent that we were coming."

If you didn’t make that flight (evening), you’d be confirmed on a flight the following morning with one stop in Detroit (we booked a nonstop to Chicago). Uh, no thanks. Then to top it off, we’ve landed and been told that it will be at least an hour before we can deplane due to no availability at the gate (it’s 1145 pm right now). All this plus their new policy of not allowing us to select our seats because we bought the cheapest tickets. Really Delta? You go ahead and cater to the rich and I’ll choose to fly with another airline."

I’m not an abnormally large man - 6 feet 200 lbs - and there was no room for my legs or my shoulders in an “upgraded economy” seat. I fly weekly for work on another major airline, and only took this one in a crunch. But I am quite certain this was my last Delta flight and I’ll be advising others similarly. The service and entertainment aren’t sufficient to mask an awful seat configuration."

How this can happen when Delta and Aeromexico are two subsidiary one of another ?"

The flight also boarded and departed mostly on time, and the onboard wifi was great."

There were flight delays, and really I was good with that, but when I approached a staff member, he literally said “what do you want?!” Before I even opened my mouth. The phone lines are operated by someone in a foreign country. And after the flight caused me an overnight layover, they offer you a measly discount voucher for a place to stay. I can only hope that someone out there is getting better treatment than the poor people I saw on this flight, or at any united desk I attempted to get help from."

Pros: "I called to change my flight to an earlier time due to flooding in PA. The lady who helped me did an equal exchange for my ticket and waved the $200 fee. I was extremely pleased and appreciative. Also, excellent movie choices and food options. I will definitely continue flying with United."

Cons: "We missed the whole vacation due to United flt. 599 being late into SFO. We missed the Zurich flight by 7 minutes due to a mechanical issue (overhead bin lid would not stay closed.) United customer service was very poor and after 16 hrs. at SO without resolution on flights and schedule, we just came back home. If Siss Air could have waited 10 minutes for 12 or more passengers, we would have been fine. I don't know if United communicated with them or not. This was a disaster!"

Cons: "The ground crew seems not to have a good understanding of the available over-head space and asks passengers to checks bags in unnecessarily. For the second time in a row, I was told that there is no overhead space left and that I need to check my bag while I was boarding. I saw that this wasn't the case when I got on board. Needless to say that waiting to pickup my carry-on at my destination added an unnecessary half an hour to my trip."

Cons: "My only real issue was that, upon checking in online, I was informed that my boarding pass would be emailed to me. I don't believe it ever was. I checked all of my various email folders, including spam, and saw nothing."

Most airlines will seem to help you with hotels or food and whatnot if you had to be rebooked. We ended up booking a hotel through the Hotel Tonight for a great rate although it’s unrefundable. Turns out we get to the airport and our original connecting flight was severely delayed and we would have made it on to that flight. So either way we were stuck with a loss."

Cons: "I can't eat mushrooms. Both meals had mushrooms (3 out of 4 entrees) and it wasn't always obvious which ones. Additionally, the second meal with seafood or pasta, the pasta obviously had mushrooms so I chose seafood, even though I don't like most seafood. Mushrooms all mixed in with the seafood, so I had to pick them all out. Also 2 of the accompanying sides had mushrooms. Do they have a mushroom fetish like Cheesecake Factory? Need more consideration for people who may have varying food requirements that are unavailable to address during the booking process. Pros: "When I booked this flight four months ago, nothing indicated that these seats would not recline (since they are in front of an exit). That's not something I knew and that fact made it a bit brutal on an overnight flight, especially when the people in front of us could recline their seats. It should be easy and reasonable to add such info in the booking process."
Cons: "There is just something very bare-bones about flying now: modest food or drink, little effort to entertain except on your own equipment. It's functional--does the job."

Cons: "We arrived late in Denver and had to sit at the gate and wait for the jetway person to arrive and connect the jetway to the plane. I also didn't like the fact that I had to buy Economy Plus because my wife and I were not only not assigned seats together after booking, we were not assigned seats at all. When I booked the flights I was only allowed to choose seats for the first flight - Charlotte to Houston...but not for the other three legs of our Charlotte to Seattle trip. The only two seats together from Houston to Seattle were in the very last row. And, on our return flight we had to purchase Economy Plus in order to sit together."

Cons: "The boarding gate attendants were rude and uncaring when we asked them to help us switch pre-assigned seats to ensure our two year old sat with us. While we might have understood better had they been empathetic, they were rude and uncaring and said when you book online you sign a waiver and they can not do anything about this. Wow. This was our flight back. Originally on the way to our destination we had used Delta and that customer service experience was completely different even though that flight was full too. Never flying United again as long as I can avoid it."

Cons: "We were an 1hr and 40mins late. It would have been ok but the pilot and crew did say why. United kept me informed by using text messages which were great. They had us sitting down and water could be given until the flights starts but 1 st class recieved all the accommodations which i unstand that is why you pay for 1st class. But honestly the crew could accommodate a class of water to a few passagers. The pilot didn't have to wait 40 mins to let us k now we were waiting on maintenance to sign off on their form. Some of the passage obeyed the rules by turning of our phone. I turn my phone back on when i heard a passager say maintance was required. I would say flight was good sits were smaller than last August"

Cons: "I bought a ticket on KAYAK and it was united flight from Los Angeles to Las Vegas. I buy many tickets going from LA to Vegas. After no indication about any extra costs but only the inability to check in… At the airport I was warned by one of the agents when she told me that my basic economy ticket would not allow me to bring my computer back on the plane without being charged. I've never experienced this in my life. I said I'm not paying and I went through TSA and I boarded without any problem. United has just been axed off of my list of Airlines with which I will travel. Come to think of it the only other airline that I can choose not to travel on his Spirit so United has reached new lows!"

Cons: "after transferring from terminal B after a long walk then another long walk to transfer to Terminal C and another walk to baggage claim for a 70 yr.old woman and no transport available is intolerable and unacceptable! It is so disgusting that I am a frequent flyer via United Airlines and getting more and more dissatisfied cause of the troubles I'm encounterring flying with United Airlines! I should think twice,the next time I'm booking with the airline for my next flight!"

Pros: "Barb M. was at the front desk at the United Lounge. She is an incredibly kind human being. I was very sick and this flight was delayed so it was going to cause me to miss my connecting flight overseas. She tried all that she could to rebook me on a different flight but the problem was the destination's air traffic control, not the airplane, so it wasn't going to fix the problem. I was able to rebook my connecting flight, at a cost, but at least I wasn't going to miss it. Barb went and made me hot tea with fresh ginger, mint leaves, and honey for my throat. Through a difficult situation, she was a ray of sunshine and kindness."
Cons: "Every time I travel United, it is delayed. I don't understand why. In this situation the problem was the airline so I understand that is beyond what United controls."

We were in the last row where you can't even lean your seat back but the guy in front of me was just about in my lap the whole flight. Charging for in flight entertainment and meals also seems like the airlines care less for customer satisfaction than the money they can get from passangers. While boarding, we were stopped in first class because the flight attendant was in the aisle getting drinks for first class...Before all the passengers boarded. Also, why is every flight told they get one carry on plus a personal item when that isn't really the case? If the flight is full, apparently there is not enough room for each passanger to have a carry on so people who have delicate items packed in their carry ons have to surrender them and pray their precious vacation purchases aren't smashed when they get their luggage back. Quantity over quality."

Cons: "My flight was cancelled they never told me , and after I explained to them I bought this ticket two hours ago because my grandmother and uncle were dying and I needed to get there, they lied to me told me I would be on a different flight and still get there at the same time. Well my flight was not the same time it was three hours different and if I made it there like they promised the first time I would have been able to kiss my grandma one last time. She died a hour before I got there. And now I'm fighting with them for a refund."

Cons: "United had us board and unboard and then board again due to flight delays. United also told us the delay would be only 40 minutes, but I looked at the delay in SFO and it was 2 hours. Eventually United also increased our delay by 30 minute intervals until it was about 2 hours. Once I arrivied in SFO I got a text message notification stating my luggage had been put on an incorrect flight and I would have to return to get my luggage. The attendants at the podium were rude. This was my first terrible flying experience ever."

Arrived late to Denver because of weather, but my stroller that I had left on the jetway in Seattle was never put on the plane which I didn't know until I got to minot. I was going to wait for it in denver, but I would have missed my flight to minot had I waited 5 more minutes. We arrived to minot only to find out that our 3 suitcases, one stroller and 2 car seats were never in the flight. Awful! And my connecting flight was even delayed an extra 55 min so I don't quite know where my things are."

I was at the gate before the plane detached and the guy said I should be on the plane 15 min before and that he wasn't going to stop the plane from going. I had a business meeting that I was trying to get to so him doing this completely ruined my day and purpose for flying and spending $300 on a flight. I have NEVER experienced anything like this. Once on my rescheduled flight the attendant made several comments about the fact that I had a pillow with me. If you don't know someone situation then you should make any comments at all. I had just finished a 5 day drive across country and unfortunately the pillow needed to get home with me. Not a single employee was kind welcoming or helpful. I will never fly with this airline again. I will be letting EVERYONE I speak to know about this experience and I plan on writing reviews wherever I can find."

Cons: "I am fed up with the herding mentality by most airlines. Since when did purchasing an economy seat mean you are not entitled to at least a modicum of comfort on a flight. The legroom provided now is no where near enough for any normal size human. Additionally it's still annoying to pay $25.00 for a single checked bag. I tried United after many years but will be returning to Southwest Airlines - in the long run it's less expensive. I realize nothing will change based on my opinion, regardless, it is more comfortable and dignified to take a Greyhound bus than to fly a major airline these days."

Cons: "Well, the tray tables were about 5in x 8in and didn't slide forward, rendering it useless for basically anything. A laptop wouldn't fit anyway, but since it didn't slide out, the screen would have been tilted too far forward to properly see it as it was up against the seat and it was too unstable not to also hold my laptop while I sat there. With significantly less leg room than I've previously experienced on an economy class flight, laying down on the tray table to sleep was also impossible. When I first got on the plane, the air conditioner started and rather than feeling comfortable and less sweaty and gross, I just began to smell stale air that I was almost convinced was carbon monoxide as I was flying from Seattle and there had been smoke all around Washington due to forest fires. It was horribly uncomfortable and annoying even for sitting in coach. And I wasn't on an older or smaller airplane where I'd expect a little less concern for comfort, it seemed like it was very modern and it was a very large place. Leg room could have easily been increased by losing one to two rows of seats (seats that would most likely be empty anyway I might add). Airplanes tend not to be the most comfortable mode of travel anyway, but I would say this was the worst one."

Cons: "Everything was good until the last flight from Denver to Las Vegas. They let us into the bridge but did not let is into the plane for a while because they just finished cleaning it and was waiting for maintenance to fix a broken chair, which made us stand and wait on the bridge. They should've just waited to let us in until the plane was ready instead of stocking us into the bridge.Additionally, as I was leaving the plane the one of the crew member was arguing with a customer, which could've been handle better."

Cons: "I charged the airfare, thinking that would be all, like other airlines. Then I found out they charge for luggage. THEN I found out they charge me for a seat... on the flight I already paid for. Boarding was disorganized, seats were thin padding on plastic, quite uncomfortable. I also had to clean crumbs and trash off my seat before settling in. They charge you 2.99 each for water and airline peanuts; i didn't partake. they only gave me one boarding pass and when I boarded the plane, they said that is was the flight to Denver and then they were continuing on to Columbus. I assumed this meant I stayed on the plane when we landed in Denver, but no, they informed me the plane was then going to Cedar Rapids. I had no second boarding pass or gate number, so I asked the attendant. She took forever to help me, looking up my info for a minute and then talking to the other attendants and passing out papers to the boarding crew before acknowledging me again. Twenty minutes later, I had my gate, which I barely made to board in time for flight takeoff. Overall, the process was stressful, uncomfortable, and more expensive than if I had purchased a flight from Delta, Southwest, or Alaska. (All airlines I have flown and been happy with. Delta had a missed layover once and completely put me up for the night and was very helpful through the whole affair.) All said and done, I will not be flying Frontier again."

Pros: "The crew was great. The pilot lightened the mood with humor and the announcements were useful ( weather, time zone changes, ETA etc... ). The plane was clean and the price was low."
Cons: "You have to pay forty dollars for a carry on and for any beverage or snack on the flight. There was confusion about the seats as we boarded, which we did by zones, but still had aisle traffic which defeated the purpose. My connection was moved to another gate and they failed to announce it ( yes it was on the screen, but I don't travel that often and was lucky to notice it just as we were boarding... luckily just a few minutes walk away ). The plane offers no entertainment at all ( which is fine for me, but worth knowing... bring a dvd player or something for long trips )."

Cons: "I had to pay 40 dollars to check my bag or 45 to carry on with me. Ladies were accommodating when asked to change my seat from a middle to an aisle which was nice as I wasn't given the option to pick my seat while purchasing but when I arrived to my seat a grandmother was sitting with her grandchildren. I of course was not going to ask anyone to move, so I was ushered off to the next available seat. Was happy to let a family sit together but was not please with the lack of profession to begin with."

Cons: "No one at the counter before the flight. Everyone was at the gate. I lost my flight and you wanted to charge me anotyer 100 dollars. And i had ti catch a flight frim Orlando and had ti drive myself there. They lost my baggage as well .first night in vegas was ruined by Frontier Airlines. Did not know that I needed my pool sticks to play ahead of purchase new pool sticks they cost $1,200 and I had a purchase 1 days worth of clothes unreal never experienced anything like this such a horrible Airline"

Cons: "I was stopped at loading & forced to pay 60 for my carry on even though I checked early online & it showed I had paid 40 for my bag. It was misleading, also checked with a Frontier staff at check in desk & she confirmed I was ok. "Supervisor" at gate was very rude & turned & walked away while I was asking a question & trying to show her my email receipt. I have never gotten sick on an airplane before but I did on all my Frontier flights & there was no air sickness bags in seat. This trip was ridiculous from the start as my flight was changed from non stop direct to overnight layover in which I had to purchase a Hotel room as well as all the extra fees taken after purchase. Frontier is not "cheap" at all. And worst customer service I've ever dealt with."

Cons: "I paid an extra $16 because I thought I had to pay for my seat. It was an emergency aisle so I got more leg room, but my seat didn't recline at all. It was impossible for me to sleep during my 3 1/2 hour flight to Las Vegss. Each bag you brought must be paid for whether it was checked or carry on. My original ticket price was $241. With the $60 bag fee and $16 additional seat fee ( I did not reserve one on the way home, so there was no additional charge for that direction). My total was $317. I would have preferred a larger airline with reclining chairs and free movies."

Pros: "Like, it was a first time experience . Notone wewill repeat. First off chrck in was not available until two hours before departure no one was at the counters when issued a ticket from an attendant she acknowledged my carry-on but said there was no fee to pay when called to board the plane the agent told me to go back to the counter and register my carry-on I did not understand and was irritated when we paid a fee of $45 for that carry-on we were able to board no complementary beverages or water were offered on a two hour and 45 minute flight . It seems like and nickeled and dime operation sorry but hard backseats are not the way I want to travel so very mediocre"

Cons: "at 4:30 pm I had a text alert that the flight was delayed by 8 hours yet there was nothing done to replace crew who were going over their max hours. The pilot and both stewardess told different stories. At 1 am in the morning they claimed they were looking for replacements. It is bad enough having a flight canceled and having to drive 840 miles or wait up to 2 days to be rescheduled....but to have blatant lies told was even worse. Then cancel due to weather...when that was not the case..so baggage fees cannot be refunded. The baggage fees were almost as much as the airfare."

Pros: "$49 price for ticket from Pittsburgh to Las Vegas. (WARNING: uncomfortable seat only, doesn't include any baggage)."
Cons: "The seats are very uncomfortable. They are smaller than before and the airline claims they are "pre-reclined." The boarding process is poorly organized (should fill from back to front). The staff is not friendly. Food costs, they claim you can't consume your own alcohol, and they begrudgingly give you water if you press them. When the plan landed at the exact time the pilot predicted 4.5 hours earlier, they told us that we were "early" and kept everyone waiting with seatbelts fastened. In fact the crew frequently abused the seatbelts fastened light during calm air. Don't fly Frontier unless it is severely cheaper; the experience is terrible."

Pros: "The flight was on time and the crew was friendly"
Cons: "The check in process was PAINFUL! The check in staff, only two ladies, were there by 4:30 but could not check in our bags until 5am, resulting in lines. Two staff members for everyone was not enough and one of them kept taking off to do something else, leaving only one person to check in. The Baggage Only line received way more attention, forcing the rest of us to wait longer even through we were line FIRST. You should take direction from Allegaint! I flew from Vegas to Fresno a few days later and their check in service was exceptional!"

Pros: "The efficiency of the boarding process. It was organized and fairly expedient."
Cons: "The exorbitant additional fees. Absolutely absurd to charge for a seat and carry-on luggage in addition to the plane ticket itself. My carry-on suitcase is HALF the size of the traditional size and paying $30 to bring it on the plane is insulting. The chairs were uncomfortable. They don't recline, no head rest, and no blankets were on board which made resting for my 5 hours across the country EXTREMELY uncomfortable. For all the extra fees you'd think a movie and some snack packs might be available. Then again, with the trays too small to fit even my mini iPad, there'd be no place to put them. No in-flight entertainment was a bummer too. I've usually been so happy on Frontier. Bit this experience will keep me from flying Frontier ever again."

Pros: "It was quick to get on the plane."
Cons: "I am very concerned with the staff of Frontier as how they could let not one, but two passengers on their flight who are CLEARLY past the legal limit of being intoxicated. I had two passengers, mother and daughter, who were in front, and beside me who were stumbling while walking to their seats, had slurred speech, and absolutely reeked of alcohol. I had made a point to one of the flight attendants about it, they did not do anything more than shrug it off, and then not only did I point that out, they went ahead and served them more alcohol 20 minutes later into the flight! More specifically two Coors and two small bottles of Vodka for the woman sitting next to me, and a Coors for the woman in front. They were causing me discomfort by making their drunken jokes, but the woman next to me made no due regard to personal space (which I get the airline at that point cannot control). However, the woman to my side had been alot less touchy-feely prior to receiving more alcohol. Not to mention I had paid the extra money for the assigned seats, which were added on to our total charges, but suddenly disappeared when I received my itinerary online. I will never book through this agency, or fly Frontier again."

Pros: "THIS trip was okay."
Cons: "This was supposed to be a round trip ticket. My original flight from Las Vegas to Houston was delayed and delayed and then finally cancelled. I was checking your app religiously and it wasn't until BOARDING ( 12:20 in the morning) that it said the flight had cancelled. Your employees just ignored me when I went to the front desk to ask what I was supposed to do. They finally took notice of me and said the best they could do was TWO days later. I don't live in Vegas so I asked where I was supposed to stay and they said they couldn't help me with that. You were going to let me sleep in an airport for two days! I asked what I was supposed to do about food and you said you'd email me a food voucher (you didn't) and you said you would email me a 200 dollar voucher for my next flight (which you didn't)! I had to find someone to help me buy a different flight on a different airline because of how UNhelpful you all were. The most disappointing and absolutely terrible traveling experience I've ever had. I don't know when or if I will ever fly with you again."

Pros: "Lights turned off at night, not a lot of announcements to disturb sleeping passengers. Plane was clean. Crew seemed fine enough."
Cons: "To begin with, a three-hour delay on what was already just a four-hour flight, and no steps made to even offer snacks or discounts or other amenities to apologize for the gross delay. Very uncomfortable seats; even dead tired, I could not get much sleep. I usually use the food tray as a place to rest my head, but it was far too small to use for that. Upon landing, another 45 minutes of delay as we waited for our gate to become free, and again, no measures taken to apologize or make us as customers feel like they wanted us to feel even a little bit better about the situation. I get that it's a cheap flight option, but even so, the company needs to take more responsibility for its internal problems."

Cons: "Got to the airport 2 hours early to check in. The kiosk told me to see an attebdant. No attendants were at the Frontier desk. The nearest employees (jetblue) told me yesterday that the Frontier employees never showed up and that people missed their flights. My flight along with several other people who were waiting as well, seemed to have either been cancelled without alerting us. My confirmation number didn't register on the kiosk a half hour after I originally tried it. No employees ever arrived to the desk. Having to go to United to buy another ticket. I would expect either a full refund or a travel voucher in replacement. I paid 300 dollars and had to arrive 6 hours later than originally planned. As I live three hours from the Denver airport, this will get me home at 1 am. I have to be at work tomorrow at 7am. I will never fly frontier again."

Cons: "Tried to cancel this flight using the flight insurance I was up sold during checkout. Turns out that the flight insurance was only available for international flights? When I ask the agent why it was the recommended during purchase, she said I should have read the full terms and conditions during checkout. To me, this was a true scam. She told me that I could appeal the conditions of the travel insurance, but I would have to present a death certificate of the friend's baby that had just passed - the reason the baby shower was cancelled, and the reason this trip was cancelled. It was appalling. I tried calling Frontier directly, but their reservation desk was closed due to their system being down. HOURS I tried to call, and could not get a rep. I ended up not able to cancel the flight or even speak w a Frontier rep before my flight departed. In all, I was given 6 different numbers or lines to call to sort through this situation. All I did was waste hours of my time. This was a terrible situation where I feel like I was the victim of a scam."

Cons: "It is very clear that Frontier is a budget airline that prioritizes money over people. Right down to the unnecessary announcement that you may not drink your own 'minis' but are required to purchase their liquor (at ridiculously inflated prices). The pretty girls who approached us and offered perks...for a price as we queued for more than an hour simply to check in, made me feel even more like faceless animal prey with dollars in my pockets. I will not fly Frontier again, no matter how 'cheap' their tickets."

Cons: "When we showed up for our flight on Aug 28th the lady at check-in said we didn't have a seat and printed out a piece of paper with rules and guidelines on it she then handed me the paper and told me to check my bags in and go to the boarding gate to get more information on why I didn't have a seat, I repeatedly asked her why do I have to check my bags go through security go to the boarding gate if I don't have a seat she continued to tell me that's the procedure and they will give me the information, she was very rude so I continued to follow her rules I went to the boarding gate swear they told me I did not have a seat because the flights are oversold they told me they were going to give me a flight for the next morning and to come back in an hour and they would get it all situated so I came back in an hour they gave me my information for the flight the next morning but then they couldn't get my luggage back because they said it was too late to get it off of the plane where is I'm watching right out the window then load the luggage on the plane, I then proceeded to talk to a manager the manager said that she would have our luggage flown back to Las Vegas and sent to our hotel at 8:30 p.m. that same night August 28th and that never happened, I even called Frontiers baggage claim at 1:30 asking if they knew where my luggage was they said they had no idea and that they would send it out in the morning to my hotel I told her that's not necessary as I will be flying to Denver where my luggage should be in the morning she kept telling me she already was going to ship it to the hotel and couldn't understand why I didn't want it shipped to the hotel even though it was a pretty simple answer so she just continue to laugh at me and hang up, we also didn't get any compensation for an overbooked flight I would have to say that it's pretty horrible experience and knowingly that when I do fly it's usually with Frontier but all that will change"

Pros: "The flight crew, and the view out the plane. I did enjoy the minimalistic seat design, which probably allows for more people per plane."
Cons: "The hidden fees, frontier wanting you to pay to pick your seat location after already purchasing the ticket. That is really lame. No complementary beverage (not even water) or snack on 3 hour flight... also lame. Frontier claims to be affordable airfare but has you pay for way more than just the plane ticket after the fact. I opted to not pay to pick seat location and was able to still sit next to my friend but I bet there are a good amount of people who have a family and feel pressured to spend way more money to pick seats so they are not separated. Just makes frontier seem like a money hungry company that cares more about money than it's customers. The flight home (Denver to Seattle) was an hour and a half late, which sucks, but whatever life happens. I didn't really like the airbus plane that made weird plane noises, why do you not use Boeing planes?"

Cons: "The flight was delayed a few hours. It took forever to Get out of the gate. It took an hour once we landed to get in the gate and deplane. I was given a seat on the computer and then when I got on the plane there were two people with same seat. The floors and seats were unbelievably dirty as well. I have never seen so much trash and crumbs everywhere. It was an awful experience. Our trip to Vegas the first night was ruined because we were planning to see a show Thursday evening and landed two hours late and could have possibly made it but we sat on runway for an hour before deplaning."

Cons: "Two of the three flight attendants were a little obnoxious. Before we took off, the female African American attendant openly said that people weren't listening to her about stowing carry on bags and said "this is like dealing with a bunch of 2-yr olds" uncalled for in my opinion. The only male attendant was insincere on his announcements and it's the first time I've ever flown (hundreds before) where on two occasions he asked for people to clean up after themselves. Also the lines at the sole checkin desk in Seattle was too long. Should have had more than one person checking people in. I'd not recommend this airline if I was asked today what my opinion was."

Cons: "On my flight to Denver, was never mentioned on anything about paying for my carry on. But on the way back to Las Vegas. They stopped us and was very rude about having to pay. Using the "they should have charged you the first time" I think its crazy to be charged for a carry on, if they charged me one way and not the other then i feel someone was not doing their job. But it was how rude the lady manager was when I also only had cash on me. They wanted to charge me an extra $5 to go do a pre paid card. this was 20 mins before flight left. They must get on the same paid either charge both ways or no way. especially $60 per bag"

Cons: "Terribly uncomfortable seating -- the worst I've ever experienced; horrible baggage charges for carry-on and checked, both -- and lack of straight-forward discussion of fees which are, at the very least, semi-hidden; the only time since People's Express that I've not been offered a soft drink or juice w/out a charge. Terrible baggage handling and lack of assistance and information regarding the extreme lateness of checked bags being produced for the entire flight at baggage claim. Will not fly Frontier again unless assured of corrections to all of these problems."

Cons: "I have never been charged $40 for a carry on. I suppose I missed some fine print about that, however it seems absolutely rediculous. The airplane seats feel more like bus seats. They do not recline and are missing a head rest or anything resembling a cushion. The airlines seems to gouge you for anything they possibly can. Even their bitter airplane coffee costs $2. I am actually surprised I wasn't charged for bringing on a jacket. I almost had to switch flights and after speaking on the phone with one of their representatives found out that if they do that over the phone there is a $50 service charge (for speaking to someone on the phone) on top of the $100 change fee and decided against it. I will absolutely never fly Frontier again. There are many other low cost options that include basic amenities like normal seats and free carry on luggage. Seriously, don't fly Frontier."

Cons: "Service at the gate was unprofessional. Customer service rep was arguing with crew members and pilot. A family of five were all separated throughout the plane and asked if there was anyway they could sit together. CS rep just shook her head and said no. Ultimately I offered up the seat I paid for so the mom could be closer to her kids and ended up sitting in the back of the plane in a completely empty row. Could the rep not have looked it up and seen there was an empty row and made accommodations for this family?? I shouldn't have to be the one looking out for YOUR customers. They don't pay my salary...they pay yours."

Cons: "I realize that there are some things that are beyond the control of the airline and I don't blame Frontier for the delay boarding or the rough weather, but after sitting almost 2 hours on the tarmac before takeoff and then the fasten seat belt light left on for the first nearly 2 hours of the flight, there was a plane full of passengers who desperately needed to use the restroom, myself included. What really annoyed me was that while rudely admonishing any passenger who dared trying to go to use the facilities to sit back down, the flight attendant herself went in the bathroom and relieved herself. When the seat belt light was finally turned off, I made my way to the restroom and this same flight attendant told me I would have to wait because another passenger sitting in the first row had been waiting a long time to go. I told her "everyone has been waiting a long time, well everyone but you." at this point she got very defensive and began yelling at me about federal regulations and so on and that she is allowed to use the bathroom. That may be true, but it doesn't make it right. Perhaps because I ticked her off, or perhaps just because of incompetence, my wife, myself, and the passenger in the third seat in our row were never offered any drink service. I did observe that even after the long delays and general ordeal of the flight, they were still charging passengers for soft drinks. I think a comped drink would be the least Frontier could do under the circumstances, but I guess anything resembling customer service is too much to ask. Add to all this the uncomfortable seats, the being nickel and dimed at every turn, which makes what first appears to be a good deal on a fight into one which is more costly than better quality airlines, I would advise spending a little more upfront for Southwest or some other reputable airline. You probably won't spend anymore in the end if you have luggage and would enjoy a beverage on the fight anyway and you will be treated with more respect and courtesy and other you will sit in a seat that doesn't feel like an old piece of plywood covered in vinyl. On both the flight to and the one from my destination, I noticed that the seats would not recline. I'm not sure if I had seats in rows that didn't recline or if none of them do."

Cons: "If you don't prepay for your checked bags online, they charge you more at the ticket counter for no reason. The Web site is very buggy and full of errors. It took forever to prepay for our checked bags. We even had to call their online support staff because their Web site is so full of bugs. They also charge even more for a carryon bag than a checked bag -- which is ridiculous -- so the entire overhead bins were empty. Insane. A few of the ticket counter staff were lazy rude utter morons. Others were helpful. The planes seem very old. The seats are uncomfortable and small. No entertainment system. Every little thing has an exorbitant cost -- including coffee or coke -- on a 4 hour flight. It's cheap ---- but not cheap enough for the horrible experience and lack of service and lack of quality or comfort. Buses are much more comfortable."

Cons: "First leg of our trip was delayed so we could not make our connection. We were told they could fly us to Denver and catch other flight home 3 days later or completely rebook to the next closest city. (They do not partner with anyone so you are stuck with their flights) Which we then needed to book a hotel, cab fares to the megabus station, then cab fares back to our original destination. Once arriving, and even though we checked in hours before our flight, our baggage was missing along with about 10 other passengers. Frontier had no one at their baggage service when we arrived. So I had the drive 2 hours back the next day. Called the help line. The person was rude and began getting loud with me, even though they are the ones that lost our bags. 90% of all the customer service people we encountered were extremely rude and would not help. Nor were they very accommodating for all their mess ups. For all our troubles, the rude "customer service" people, and out additional hundreds of dollars; Frontier sent us a coupon for a whooping $50 to use on their airline. No thanks, will never fly this airline again."

Cons: "Just when you thought airline travel couldn't get worse, Frontier brings you hard seats that don't recline and tray tables about half the size of a sheet of paper. Want a real seat? No problem--pay more. Want what they call a "laptop-friendly" tray table? No problem--pay more. And don't expect to use TSA Pre-check: Frontier doesn't participate. By the time you've paid to bring luggage on your trip--whether checked or carry-on, it costs--you've racked up a cost you could have used to fly a real airline. Pretty soon they'll be charging extra to fly on a plane with wings. And then their website was down all morning when I needed to check in. I used to fly Frontier a lot. Never, never, never, never again."

Pros: "I like the fact that the management came up with an option to still fly the passengers to Las Vegas through another aircraft. I think the staff handled the situation very well. They maintained their professionalism despite the angry passengers. In fact, they were able to keep the mood lighter by smiling and throw small jokes once in a while. I want to commend these two employees who were there during this time. I wish I had their names but it was one male and one female. They were both black and both had long braided locks ☺ They were very accommodating."
Cons: "- I could see from my window seat that the ground crew had to unload ALL the luggages that were already on the plane and check them individually and manually, just to find the luggages of the unfortunate 41 passengers who cannot fly with us because of the limited seats of the new aircraft after the tail swap. It took them at least an hour and that obviously caused more delay for the plane to take off. - It was annoying to hear the foot steps of one of the crew members because whenever he walked by the aisle in the plane, he would literally stomp his feet which was very disturbing. The passengers were already exhausted and it was past midnighy, we all wanted to at least take a nap. - They should have at least offered free drinks like water or coffee inflight to compensate with the situation especially that it was already a red eye flight."

Pros: "The only thing to praise was the smooth take-off and landing."
Cons: "This airline is deceptive from the get go. Their seemingly "low fares" are quickly offset by their outrageous fees for baggage and carry-ons and everything else. $35 to $40 for a carry-on, or checked baggage, and even if you pay the money to bring a carry-on, there is an additional $40 fee to store it in the overhead bin! Another catch is if you do not pay for all these fees before arriving at the airport, Frontier may charge you $60 at the airport. None of these charges are evident when initially booking the flight online but only when checking in. I called the airline to voice my disbelief over these fees and was treated very coldly and was told that Frontier is an "a la carte" airline. On the ground, my flight was almost an hour late though the reader board continually boasted of the flight being "on time." (My wife and I barely made our connecting flight in Denver). Ground crew in Seattle were not personable in the least. Many folks around us were equally put off by all the up-charges they were being told about. On board you will discover the seats are hard plastic with little cushioning and do not even recline. Forget about wi-fi or charging your phone or laptop. Non-alcoholic drinks $2. I jokingly asked if I put my coat in the overhead, would be charged $40? Crew member did not appreciate the humor. Everyone else did. Perhaps if you are a college student traveling with a small backpack (i.e, a "personal item") and don't care about comfort to save a buck, you might be happy with Frontier, However, for the rest of us, this kind outfit is a joke. I will never use recommend much less us this airline again. Do yourself a favor and book your next flight on a reputable airline."

Cons: "1.) We sat on the runway in Vegas for 15 minutes waiting for a gate to open. 2.) They charged me to select a seat. 3.) They charged me to CARRY ON a bag ($45!) 4.) They don't participate in TSA Pre-check 5.) There was no organized line-up for each separate boarding group. 6.) I was seated next to a baby that screamed for 3 of the first 4 hours flight time w/o flight attendants doing anything to help the dumb-ass dad who neglected to bring a freaking binky w/him! I guess maybe I'm just spoiled by the FAR SUPERIOR service of Southwest Airlines. Last time I let someone else book my flight on another airline!"

Cons: "Frontier's baggage policy is such a rip off and comparatively over priced. They allow 1 checked bag for 40$ whereas American Airlines and others charge 25$ a bag. For carry on items Frontier charges 60$(!) We were two passengers with each allowed a carry on item. After paying for our 2 bags, we were about to board when the lady at the boarding gate insisted on having us pay for our carry on ( whilst they clearly say one carry on item per person ). We were threatened with being kicked off the flight if we didn't pay for the carry on. Other passengers were also subjected to this behaviour. Never flying Frontier again. Rude boarding attendant, and a rip off baggage policy."

Cons: "It is insane how terrible Frontier has become. They were the first airline, and used to be the only airline I would fly. They now are gimmicky, money pinching, and obviously have no care for their customers. I will never fly Frontier again, not just because of these concerns, but also because these concerns lead me to worry about who they hire to fly the plane. I would imagine if they care so little as to not have a person there to check bags in, that they probably would also save a couple bucks to pay an inexperinced flight captain, who could make a deadly mistake. I arrived at SeaTac airport early with my girlfriend so that we could eat before her flight together at a real restaurant that is after security. Nobody was there to check me in. Luckily all of my liquids were under the limit. So decided to check my bag at the door, the first go it turns out frontier is the only airline you can't use your phone to scan your ticket at security. BOGUS! I kissed my girlfriend goodbye and went to print out a ticket. I then went througb security AGAIN and was taken aside for additional screening for things in my check bag that i SHOULD NOT have had on me would Frontier had the decency to pay someone $10/hour to be at the front. My baby powder got yellow flagged at this additional screening and i had to be patted down, empty out all my bags and sit as I has humuliated by the TSA as they thoroughly looked through and checked all of my footwear and electronics for explosives. This took an additional half hour. I then missed lunch with my girlfriend completely, as she had to get on her flight. The lady checking me in was nice enough and took care of the checked bag issue as it was obvious from her reaction that this happens all the time. Frontier then while on the flight does a 3 minute gimmiky talk about buying their credit card, everyone made fun of it. Just insane, did a bunch of used car salesmen buy Frontier? It sure seems like it. I will never fly Frontier and will urge all the people I know to do the same."

Cons: "Many years ago, I was an Early Rewards member who flew Frontier any time I could. No longer. The ticket price no longer resembles what you will pay. Now they charge $15-35 to get a seat,another $30-$35 to check or carry on each piece, and sit in uncomfortable seats that do not recline. These extra charges cause long delay at the check in counter even if I already checked in and only needed to check a bag because everyone else had to pay. Now I'll only fly Frontier if there is no alternative."

Cons: "Trash and food covered the floors. The seats were very uncomfortable and not sure how you can call that a tray table. But I guess if you aren't serving food there's no real reason to have a table, except to allow your guests convenience. Charging fees for every little thing, including being able to pick a seat so you can sit with your party, is quite ridiculous. I don't fly a lot but I won't ever choose this airline again when I can get Much higher quality for the overall cost once the hidden fees were added."

Cons: "Ticket looked cheaper than other airlines, but I paid just as much once you add on the price of your carry on ($30 for one bag - one way), your seat selection (from $9 - $30 just to have an assignment), and even your soda ($2). I spent an additional $156 above the ticket price for my wife and I to attend a funeral. That came out to $45 "savings" than flying on a major airlines would have cost. I will gladly pay the additional $45 next time and have a better experience on an airline that it still trying."

Pros: "Flight crew pleasant, even making sarcastic comments about the cheapness of their airline. For example, "If you don't like our service, there are 8 emergency exits on this plane." We arrived safely and our bags got there too!"
Cons: "It was a tough day due to weather delays and cancellations, but the airport crew was overwhelmed and failed to control the massive crowd. At one point, service members started calling out destinations and it became a free for all. Passengers jumped over each other and across the ropes to cut in front. Elderly and children were pushed aside. At the gate, it was announced "in 15 minutes, we will ask passengers needing help to board", followed immediately by another crew member "we are already boarding all passengers!", then right back to the first crew "we are not boarding yet, we will start boarding in 15 minutes". Confusion! Departure was listed on time, but we really left 40 minutes late."

Hard plastic covered in vinyl with fancy stitching. Try sitting for 4 hours on that! Southwest is a much better choice."

And if you booked the flight together you would be seated together and shouldn't be charged." We told her we would have known that if she would have helped us, and she shrugged her shoulders. No refund. No apology. This stupid airline charges for everything - even water. Horrible experience. You save money with a cheaper flight and spend more with the ridiculous cheapskate business model."

Called customer support and was told I already flew that reservation. Well yes and where are the miles? Not one for the timid. Low fare until you add anything. Pay for baggage online prior to getting to the airport. It was 38 dollars on-line and 54 at the airport. That's for a carryon bag."

Cons: "The website was difficult to find how to check bags online. Had to wait until 24 hours or less prior to flight to check bags online. The weight limit of checked bags was not clearly shown. We checked bags and then found out there was another fee. The bags weighed 49 lbs. each."

Rude Spirit employees at baggage check-in and on the plane - it was clear their job was to find some way to charge more money. A bag that weighed 39 LBS in Houston and had the same clothes weighed 43 LBS in Seattle and resulted in a weight overcharge fee as they only allow 40LBS Max for checked luggage when everyone else allows more. No updates during flight of ETA. No entertainment options."

So.. when I arrived to my boarding gate, they announced that all carry on luggage was an additional fee of $100.00, unless already checked in at the counter for their base rate of $60.00 FOR A CARRY ON.... In order to board my flight, I had to pay $100.00 for one tiny little suitcase. I was beyond aggravated. It felt like this airlines entire intentions were to scam every passenger that boarded. At one point on the flights, as the flight attendants were going through the emergency procedures, a passengers behind me said "You will only give us our oxygen masks, for an additional charge" I will NEVER fly with Spirit Airline again. Every employee that I came across during my travels were incredibly rude, and very unhelpful. Spirit does have cheaper flights, but after all the up-charges you end up paying way more than you will if you just book with another airline."

Stewards are made to be salespeople, and the simplest amenities (such as a seat-back tray or glass of water) are pointedly unavailable. I spent a hellish 10 hours flying Spirit Airlines; having done so, I would never recommend a friend (nor, even, an enemy) go through the same discomfort, ridicule, and expense. The captain was flippant regarding the discomfort of the flight. Stewardesses spoke loudly to one another in the back of the plane, non-stop, for two hours. Seats are ridiculously close to one another, do not recline, and offer trays without proper space to be useful. Spirit makes a point of reminding its customers, every step of the way, how limited their flight experience will be. When I purchased flight tickets through Kayak, I did not realize that Spirit would strip me, the paying customer, of every possible amenity, all for the farce of a"bargain" flight. Nowhere was I informed of needing to pay 55$ per carry-on bag at the airport, nor of the further embarrassment of having to pay $15 to simply occupy a seat on the plane. Have I not purchased a ticket? Have I not given my money? Why should I be denied the right to sit on the actual plane? At least three other customers in line in front of me were dissatisfied with their check-in experience. None were comforted by Spirit staff, whose job, clearly, is merely to demand money and offer further ways in which an already paying customer can be divested of the contents of their wallet. I pity all who ride Spirit, work for Spirit, or consider becoming business partners with this company. Clearly, being "the youngest fleet of any major U.S. airline," has its drawbacks."

Cons: "The crew sang songs and told jokes whole trip. Pretty aweful. They were pushing credit cards. Also aweful. They made us leave our luggage in las vegas. Somehow we missed that we had to pay extra to take a carry on. But we didnt have a problem till las vegas to cleveland. They wanted 100 per bag. No mercy. So we lost all our cliths and bags. I will never fly with spirit again."

Cons: "Spirit airlines is VERY misleading. Yes it was the cheapest flight as stated but then there were the hidden costs. baggage for one luggage or carry on? Ridiculous when other airlines don't charge for the first one. A little overweight? A huge hefty fine. Pay for your seat?! There were no free seats at all!!! No complimentary snack or drink??? Charge for water!!! Ridiculous! The seats were like being packed in a sardine can and no recline which I had a terrible headache when the we finally landed! By the time I had to pay for the "extras" I could have flown first class on another airline! Never again will I will flight with Spirit and will highly recommend anyone else not to also!!!"

Pros: "Purchasing the front row seat was worth the money for the extra legroom and to be off the plane right when we landed"
Cons: "Two hour delay due to bad parts"

Cons: "Tried to change carry on bag to a checked bag....found NO WAY to accomplish that. When doing the initial booking site skip the ability to do bags at the time of booking"

Cons: "Having a checked in bag is cheaper than carry-on. If you dont buy a checked in bag or carry-on at the time of booking its more expensive to pay for it later which is bizzare. I paid $85 for one checked in luggage roundrip when most airlines charge $50 for roundrip. Cannot select seats and seats dont recline."

Pros: "Flight was scheduled to arrive at the perfect time to meet another person flying in from a different location."
Cons: "You can't check in to the flight without registering (for what?). Fee policies were unclear until after ticket was purchased "Ultra low fares" are not lower than other airlines so all the hard sell tactics are not actually justified. They just make you look like scam artists. Baggage fees are mind bogglingly confusing and present you with choices for which you may or may not be eligible. Crew constantly reminds us of the crappy service as if they are proud of it (as in "please clean up the plane for us so we can keep your fares low"). Web site does not tell you what will happen if you don't choose a seat."

Pros: "The employees/crew are fine. It's not their fault that the company they work for is terrible."
Cons: "I was surprised that they didn't charge you for using the bathroom. Honestly, what very little cost savings you get with the fare is completely negated by the additional charges for basically everything. We basically saved $20 on our fare over another airline, but wound up paying an additional $225 for having one carry-on each and being able to select a seat. Not even an exit row seat or one with extra legroom. Just picking a regular seat. Absolutely the worst deal in terms of air travel. Avoid at all costs. Heh."

Cons: "Their exorbent price for even first carry on. That too when it fitted size limits. They hide facts. Kayak should tell it's customer that extra carry on bag fee would apply. I ended up paying close to 100$ for this airlines. No other domestic or international charges this much. Seats don't recline in this plane. Seat booking is nearly mandatory so customers end up paying every step of the way. Never flying again with these."

Cons: "-No complimentary water or snack -No recliner seat -No music or entertainment option -luggage: clerk at front desk at kiosk, said that my personal bag was my suitcase since I had no purse. So I didn't check in. At boarding, clerk wanted to charge e $100.00, more than cost of flight ! I explained & she dropped it to $65.00 !! and I still brought it on plane ! insane cost !!!!!!!!!!! Just short of what I paid for entire trip !"

Pros: "Smooth check in, boarding and flight was on time. Won the the seat assignment lottery and all passengers in the group were seated together. As a reminder- read about the baggage restrictions on Spirit airlines. If you are clueless, you will be angry at the gate/check-in."

Pros: "Funny business model. Charge for everything keeping the ticket price low. Crew was decent, else would have been a pathetic experience. The 1 plus hour delay did not help. All that aside, the seats are horrible. Even bleacher seats in baseball stadiums are better. Made of plastic, no cushion, don't recline. For a $25 lower fare, torturing in so many different ways is not right."

Cons: "Charge for EVERYTHING. Not a good deal at all. My trip out was two hours late leaving. By the time I paid for my carry on and one checked bag and an assigned seat, it was ,ore expensive than Alaska Airlines and not anywhere near as comfortable. I will never fly Spirit again."

Pros: "The price was right. Just be sure to think about how many add-ons you will need: ex: seating, bags, beverages, to be sure you are still saving money."
