Unfortunately, the Delta 767 doesn't offer any upgrade for a wider seat beyond Delta One, and my employer won't spring for that. Too bad there isn't a premium economy option. Also, the entertainment unit in the seat next to mine malfunctioned, which you wouldn't think would impact me that much except that because it was "seeing" touches randomly throughout the flight, the screen would turn on, off, brighter, dimmer, play random stuff, and just generally be as annoying as possible to everyone nearby throughout an overnight flight."

Everyone was very polite but check in was confusing. Everything else was wonderful. Cutomer service was great from beginning to end."

A pleasant flight overall with my first impression being an airline with current popular music playing in the background and flight attendants cheerful. Since I was traveling alone, I opted to not purchase my seat prior to my flight date, instead I chose my aisle seat within 24 hours for free. I checked in my one bag and found out I had pre-checked so my security check went so smooth at the new terminal 2 at LAX. Looking forward to my flight back on June 15."

VA bag weights are less than Delta and the seat was incredibly cramped. We both had to sit with our legs bowed to the side as the seat ahead was so close. For nine hours we were cramped and could not sleep due to only be able to squeeze into one position. To get into the seat I put on leg in and then sat on the armrest and then brought my other leg up and then lowered my but into the seat. I am not even 6 feet tall and had this issue. So due to the difficult online check-in and seat selection and to the cramped seats we will never fly Virgin Atlantic again."

(BTW, most people travel on weekends so ya may want to consider providing customer service then...duh). When I finally was able to reach someone in order to upgrage to Premium Economy, they could not help me but said they would send an email with an answer to how much that would cost. The email never came. I will never book with Kayak again."

Perhaps spoiled food or the lack of the pre-ordered gluten-free meals left one of us ill for the week since. Days of headaches with Lufthansa leading up to these two flights - online, on the phone and in person. We ended up on a full United flight with some of the most humorless in-flight staff ever."

Cons: "There were absolutely no vegetarian meals. All flights should at least have a few extra just in case someone needs some. After I refused the meal, I didn't even get water or anything. I was given a nauseating wrap with tea towards the end of the flight. I'm not even sure how that was expected to be edible. Unbelievable, I will not be flying Aer Lingus again."

Cons: "There was no boarding pass issued for the Lon - Ny trip. Additionally, when we arrived to London, there was no direct transfer from our landing gate to our departure gate forcing us to have to exit and then reenter. There was no ground avail to assist either. Since the dub - Lon flight was delayed, we have 60 min to get a boarding passes / re renter security / & had to run to the flight which was a mile all with a 2 yr old."

Cons: "Aer Lingus lost my luggage and has not helped to find it. POOR customer service. NO answers and NO help in any way. No one calls back or has concern that your luggage is lost. Still waiting to hear from them!!!!!"

Cons: "There was very little leg room, and no comfort for a tired traveler. This was the last leg coming in from Boston and having a 2 hour layover before continuing. The 2 hour trip seemed longer than the 6 hours it took to get to Dublin. The food service never even asked my row if they wanted to buy drinks/ food, even though my seat neighbor clearly put their tables down in anticipation of getting something to eat/ drink. A set of travelers had difficulty comprehending the rules about sitting in the exit row, and the stewardess was not very helpful, but looked angry and exasperated."

Pros: "The cabin was quite comfortable and we had all we needed from the get go, ear plug, TV, blanket, and pillow. We had good seating as there were only 2 seats on each wing. Even tough we couldn't reserve our seats, these were good."
Cons: "Why do those long distance air hostesses treat us as if we were a nuisance? Not a smile, rude; they had decided that those going to the US had to be bad people. Are they that political or just bad mannered????"

Because I booked through a third party I was unable to get a refund or any recompense without ~$200 in fees, so I had to abandon the tickets, I was really looking forward to the trip and i was disappointed I couldnt do anything to salvage them."

Person behind me was not happy that I reclined my seat and was vocal about it while the person in front of me was completely reclined and I'm a small person. Heck, I paid for the the seat and should be able to move my seat back without any issues. Still very smuched. Extra leg room shouldn't be a premium."

Cons: "My in flight entertainment was broken and that us quite a disadvantage on a 12 hour flight. I was told it was because the airplane was "very old" which whilst it may be true it is not something I particularly want to hear. I was also told that as the flight was full I could only move seats if someone wanted to swap. I'm not sure if the flight attendant was expecting me to stand up and make a public request?!"

Cons: "Punctuality (lack of). Comfort (lack of). Seat pitch. Food. Cabin crew service. State of aircraft. Price (premium for a budget service)."

Pros: "I chose British airway relying on safety record depite being comparatively expensive."
Cons: "The outer seat arm was faulty. It couldn’t be folded back, so getting out or in was very difficult. It is certainly risky in case of emergency . I asked the hostess to report it. Nothing complementary offered to passengers .Other reputable airlines do, such as a drink , or chocolate bar ."

Cons: "It took FOREVER to get our boarding passes. We did wind up checking our bags, but there was no option to do self check and have boarding passes printed at a kiosk, so everyone had to go through the line and the line was incredibly slow. There were just as many lines for people who had checked in online and just needed to drop their bags - this made no sense to me! There should only have been one line for that and the rest should have been dedicated to getting the rest of the passengers checked in."

Cons: "An old beat up plane in desperate need of renovation especially for a long haul flight. Only one nice flight attendant who tried to help. Others not interested. Terrible seat that I tried to move with no success. Did not eat anything or watch any entertainment. Very unpleasant experience. I have flown this route many times and next time I would fly Swiss through Zurich or Geneva as I have done before."

Cons: "check is was horrendous. Long queues of people, long wait and not enough people to man the check in counters. Sitting down in my seat my kneeds immediately banged on the seat in front of me. Its clear that this aircraft has less leg space that then usual. And now you have to pay for all food and drink. £9 for a sandwich and G&T."

Cons: "Apart from still objecting to the principle of treating non-Business class customers like the budget airlines, the food selection on European flight leg was ok, but sales system is so slow and laborious that in future I'll probably buy in the departures terminal and carry on board."

Cons: "None of them reminded me of the fact that I need a transit visa for the UK (I mean, isn't it rediculous? I am just staying there for 5 hours). When I called in for cancellation at the airline, they told me to talk to my agent company Cheaptickets. Cheaptickets simply told me that I can't get any money back, and was extremely arrogant and impatient. Later (for a week I was trying to save this ticket by talking to the British Embassy to see if I can get the visa done and they are just "we can't help you") they told me that I can get a refund of like 30 SGD and they promised to send me an e-mail about it. They never ever did. I also tried to change the dates and the handling fee + fair difference was like 1200 SGD (are you joking?) they simply told me, prices fluctuate... Finally I went to the check in counter desperate. The staff even refused to talk to me about my situation because simply, "there is no BA ticket office in Singapore" and told me to call them. I said the office is closed, but they are like, yeah just call them. They swept me off like a moron. Extremely arrogant, impatient, insensitive. I paid 900 SGD for nothing and a whole week of anxiety and regret. I will never take this and I will never use Cheaptickets or Kayak anymore. So bad."

Seats and leg room not big enough and giant metal box under the seat did not help. Yes, we could have paid extra for more leg room (I am quite tall) but that doesn't seem right (almost akin to discriminating against tall people). Booked the whole flight with BA including a connecting flight with JAL. Couldn't check-in online for the JAL flight and there was no clear information as to whether our baggage would be automatically transferred or whether we would have to collect (as was the case)."

Pros: "Still love their use of decent reclining seats, and the boarding procedure and cabin crew are generally lovely."
Cons: "£6.50 for an alcoholic drink is a joke. The fact that they had also run out of most mixers (including diet coke) as well as the sandwiches on my return flight to LHR from ATH shows how poor their service is. I was also refused ice for my warm coke zero (since they didn't have any to buy I thought I'd ask for some for the one I had bought in the airport). Shocking!"

Pros: "Usual BA - professional service"
Cons: "I cannot believe you have to pay for your drinks now. The only thing which made BA one of the last remaining "experience" airlines has now made it become like a normal train journey. I'd prefer to pay 10 pounds more in my ticket and still have the impression my drinks, soft or not, are offered."

Pros: "Early departure (relatively small plane) and early arrival. Boarding and departures relatively quick given small plane size. Service was good. Overhead bins were spacious. Plane was relatively new and fairly high-tech. Food was good and selection was great. Cabin crew went out of their way to accommodate our requests."
Cons: "The Dreamliner is quite a noisy and warm plane. Also, cabin crew aren't very specific with meals (e.g. chicken or beef rather than chicken with rice or beef with potatoes). Snack between meals chargeable. Some trouble with the on board entertainment system that was resolved early on. Stroller arrived fairly late."

Pros: "Check-in Ticket printed by BA staff at the airport had the wrong gate number so I was sat in the wrong part of the terminal until I got suspicious and double checked the screens to find my flight had started boarding elsewhere. Entertainment system had a screen from the mobile phone you owned more than a decade ago. Breakfast was a Kellogg's chew bar. Staff onboard were excellent."

Cons: "Didn't like that the steward put the spray downwards on the floor before flying. They should spray it upwards. They removed the snacks. By the end of the flight the floor of the toilet was disgusting. The cushion was horrible."
