Excellent location to view all of Boston by foot. We had a wonderful stay and would stay again.
Location was great. Everything was in walking distance. Room was clean, bathtub and shower was fantastic. Room was a bit small, balcony was not a real balcony - very small step out balcony! A bit pricey for the size and amenities.
Convenience was superb.
The hotel is very clean and the staff was really nice and helpful There was only Luke warm water in the shower and after walking around boston on a 10 degree night it really put a damper on our romantic get away !!
Location Comfort Price was for location. Have stayed in HI Express with just as nice rooms for way less than half the money Charge for WiFi in room Do not ever touch mini bar. You will be charged
Location is great for exploring Boston - but if you don't want to hear the late night crowds at Quincy market-make sure to speak up. The wine list in the restaurant is extremely overpriced and unfortunately I was served a bottle of wine that had not been stored properly and had turned. The bartender didn't agree but had the manager bring me a new bottle. That bottle was better than the first but still not tasting quite right-but we kept it because it was too much of a hassle.
Stayed here twice. Both for location. Room rates are pricey but you are in the midst of downtown Boston. The in-house restaurant was serving a $20 lobster dinner special which was fantastic. Valet parking is easy and staff is very courteous. There is an extra charge for valet at $49. Again very pricey but if you are staying for a few days it evens out. The room was a standard king that was comfortable, clean and spacious enough for two. We were provided a mini fridg gratis. The usual outrageously overpriced mini bar is present along with bottled water priced at the level of alcohol. Several newspapers are available free. Apparently the hotel is undergoing updates to its TV and wifi system. That's not a problem but there was no information provided at check in that it was happening. That is a problem. The TV acted up at start up and the wifi was cantankerous. Booting you off and causing you to sign in again and again. Quite slow also.
Loved the location, the amenities and the service. We've already booked our stay for next year! difficult to adjust the temp in the room - trying to cool the room meant the AC was on full blast.

Regulars at their restaurant, our first stay was all we needed. Handsome, friendly, warm lobby area; helpful, attentive staff. The in-hotel restaurant is actually very good -- and has a great bar area. The staff that delivers items to rooms are very friendly, speedy folk. Hotel is under renovation in part, so there are inconveniences until completion early next spring. When we were there, some desk staff are "in training" and not exactly use to speaking in English (!). The door-staff/valets are very helpful.

Very clean rooms, super friendly staff, great room service and the shower products are awesome! Mini bar in the room only had soda and tonic water- no alcohol.

Rooms and bathrooms were nice, fresh coffee service and water in lobby nice touch. Morning staff was lovely. Convenient to wharf and north end. Lobby has no seatng area at all other that the restaurant, where the music blared way too loud all day. My son was resting in the room and there was literally no quiet place in the hotel to go check email or make a few calls. 2 of my 4 nights there were way overpriced, priced dropped significantly over the weekend. No concierge to help with suggestions, directions, etc. when limited front desk staff is engaged with guests.
The room design was modern and clean, but the size of it was really difficult to move around in. The front desk people were so nice and helpful. For the price, I really do not believe I got my money's worth. The AC was set on some Eco setting that only ran when there was movement in the room, it was hot and uncomfortable and i slept terribly. There was no soap in the shower and our view was of a pile of garbage out the window. Also, to valet park it was 47 dollars, which should be free. after spending 355 on a small room.
Everyone was extremely nice and helpful! I'm a NYer so that means a lot!
The ambience is cool--contemporary and funky with a sense of humor and fun thrown in. The staff at the front desk were wonderful--friendly, helpful, welcoming. Nice touches--daily complimentary wine bar in the lobby, fun animal print bathrobes in the room. The location is great, walked everywhere. Oh, and it's pet friendly! It would be nice to have a coffee maker in the room. When I asked at the desk, however, they brought one right up.

Within walking distance of everything in the north end which is most of what you would want to see in Boston. The accommodations were well worth the price.

We checked in, headed up to our room, and found a party going on in it. Upon reporting that to the front desk, they were completely confounded. They found another room (supposedly larger than the first) and gave us drink coupons for the inconvenience. No problem. The room was small. 6" between the end of the bed and the desk. But otherwise ok. So we headed down to the bar and ordered two dry martinis a tiny bit dirty. They were out of Stoli so the bartender gave us a premium Stoli. The drinks came back with so much olive brine that they were green. Not drinkable, so we decided to head out for dinner. Upon leaving the coupons we were told that they didn't apply to premium drinks. We suggested paying the difference (for undrinkable cocktails) and the bartender got an attitude and said "just forget it". Finally, upon leaving the next morning, the smallish elevator stopped on the next floor down and the housecleaner got on with her cart, a big garbage bag stuffed with laundry, and a huge gray garbage can on wheels. We were crammed into the back corner of the elevator with our bags. How strange!
Services was fantastic at this hotel. The room was ready right away, and my request for extra's in the room was honored. Ease of taxi service, and just across the street from the T and garden.
Great location in center of city. Clean and well maintained. Unique and accentric feel. Thin walls, could hear everything going on in the hallway. Hard pillows, my neck and head hurt so bad in the morning. Tiny rooms.

The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, especially Fred! I'm not too keen on the standup shower. Sometimes it's nice to soak in a tub while on vacay.
We were very happy with our room and the mini bar had a great selection. The bathroom sliding door was very difficult to open and close.
I loved the modern interior design and how friendly and helpful the staff was. My wife and I stayed at the Boxer for two nights for our mini-moon. We told the front desk staff that it was our honeymoon, and then about ten minutes later, a piece of red velvet cake and a bottle of champagne arrived at our door, completely on the house. We were very impressed. My only complaint is that the rooms in the pictures from the website looked bigger than our actual room.
Staff was fantastic!! Front desk, bartenders, valet...everyone! Super personable and accommodating! I will remember most by name. Room was "loft-like", super cozy unique. Short walking distance to the water, aquarium, good bars and restaurants! We would definitely stay here again!
I loved how nest and clean the room was. For two people the king bed room would be a bit crowded. The staff was very friendly and helpful with each contact I had with them. . I enjoyed it immensely.. Only the size of the room. It would be tight for more than one person.

Location, beds and pillows very comfortable. Clean except for under sink and mold in shower. Room was extremely small, bairly ok for one person, VERY cramped for two.

Easy walk from the hotel across the causeways to the Garden, so it was ideal since I was going to a Bruins game. The parking situation was expensive, you could either do the valet service for $45 or park in the lot next to the hotel for $29

Close to an event I was attending. Valet staff was very helpful. Not close to much. Room was ok, nothing outstanding. You pay a lot for location.
Dirty windows took away from the view. Bed a little too firm; I woke with stiffness.

Great location, room was comfortable enough. Pretty stingy for $500 a night. No fridge, $20 extra for a cot. Be careful when you initial the forms at check in or you might not notice things like $400 for smoking in the room, $50-100 for not checking out by noon. It wasn't an issue but I didn't like how they tried to sneak it by me. In summary, for the money you can do better.
location only one person behind the counter on june25th saturday at 3 o'clock. had to wait in line for twenty minutes even though i had booked on line!!. some people in front of me were trying to get a cheap room for the following monday!!!??? I wasn't told by the person at the counter that it didn't come with a continental breakfast the next morning and at over two hundred dollars , I felt that it should have ,so I had to find my way to whole foods for breakfast. Also, the ice machine on my floor was out of order, and I had to go to the 10th floor for ice The worst thing was that the two key cards for the room wouldn't work properly after several minutes o fighting with it!!!??? I have blood pressure problems and am a disabled vietnam veteran. I was hoping that it would have been a lot less stressful...... the faucet in the shower didn"t work properly....
Location Wifi didn't work at all and they knew it, said they knew it was "terrible," and "working on it" but didn't do anything to fix it for 4 days. Pathetic in this day and age. And at check in, with no one else on line, it took 15 minutes because "our computers are slow," but "we're working on it." Would not recommend this place to anyone, and in light of the prices it charges, it amounts to theft.
The room was clean the location was great to transportation and food. Staff was not friendly or helpful. The valet parking did a poor job of driving my car burnt the clutch very badly. They also didn't have my reservation and acted like it was more my problem then tried to be helpful even though I had the conformation and all the correct information.
Very solid room, clean and comfortable. I enjoyed the views, location in the city and easy accesibility to other important locales.
Excellent location Restaurant was late opening for breakfast and we had a medical appointment so we were on a tight schedule. Food and service was excellent, however.
Very friendly people at reception desk! Accommodating and caring people working the breakfast time the Saturday of the Boston Marathon weekend. Very expensive (~ 300/night) but most/all hotels are expensive in Boston it seems and it was marathon weekend.
The only thing that I liked about the hotel, is Price. You get what you pay for...
The location is pretty much central and close to the subway and it walking distance of most attractions. The parking can be hard to find but it is the same all over the city. If you look hard enough you should be able to find some free parking on the street. We had an issue with the room since we booked a 2 double beds room, but they only had a room with a king size bed. But we were offered a suite with a pull out bed so it wasn't so bad.
Staff was very friendly and helpful. We saw a show at the TD Garden, two minute walk! Our room was clean- nice walk-in closet, kitchen area with microwave and sink & fridge- close to restaurants. Nice breakfast included. And the valet service made it so easy to get in and out. Going to see Neil Diamond at the TD Garden was awesome, reflecting on the trip we all agreed that the friendly, visible, accomodating hotel staff made the trip even better.
Got there late and left early, so this isn't super detailed review. Check-in was quick and the desk staff was professional and polite. Nice clean room. Comfortable bed.

The room was spacious and very clean. Valet parking was convenient and valet parking staff were very nice. Available information from staff was not accessible. My account was charged twice and I still cannot get a hold of a staff member to fix this problem and it has been 2 days.
We enjoyed the connvinence of it's location to the TD Garden, and well withing walking distance to the North End and Fanuel Hall. It was also clean and comfortable, with a great view of the Garden. Being close to the street we had to listen to traffic.
Right across the street from TD Garden, the single reason I chose this hotel. Exorbitant cost for basic lodging. Why this place costs the same per night as the harbor hotels I do not know...I guess they jack up the rate when there are games across the street. TV kept stuttering so every 5th word or so you'd miss. Now that I know the area, I will likely not choose this place again. Bars everywhere, loud people well into the night, garbage all over the streets, broken elevator. etc..
Decently-sized rooms, USB outlets No fresh fruit for breakfast most days, wasteful (cleaners leave lights on, no option to not have towels replaced, etc.)
