Pros: "They are great at service and care of their passengers. Their staff always go out of their way to make sure of comfort. Loganair seems one of the few to still give a beverage and a snack with purchase of ticket (wonderful). I am super thankful of well trained staff and their knowledge on luggage and sizing on the smaller planes especially when traveling to and from larger planes. I never had any issues with being able to take my backpack on or being asked to check it as it carried my laptop & wallet...unlike other airlines of similar size running to & from SYY."
Cons: "That I could not find any Tunnocks Cream Wafers in a retail store to purchase after only the caramel wafers."
Pros: "Great service. Good food and drinks."
Pros: "great airport with great efficiency (Glasgow) wonderfully polite and friendly ticket agent"
Cons: "We were delayed by over four hours due to weather but still the flight that was supposed to leave after us got out before because they were more concerned about getting that flight out on time than the 20 people who had been waiting for hours. We ultimately got out about six hours late."
Pros: "Friendly staff"
Pros: "The light attended to help me with problems from prior flight"
Cons: "The propeller plane is noisy and uncomfortable. But it made it to Stornoway. Strong crosswinds made it a tough landing. The pilots did a good job."
Pros: "The staff was reasonably pleasant"
Cons: "The flight was four hours late. There were no announcements so passengers waited in a cold, damp terminal area where there was active construction. The peopeller plane was noisy and there was no storage. They had to check my small bag and then left it on the wet tarmac where my clothes were stained. FLybe is notoriously bad. They certainly lived up to their reputation"
Pros: "I can't give 5 stars for food or entertainment, but on a hop like this no one should expect them. Coffee was fine. 5 overall"
Pros: "Very quick flight :)"
Cons: "Nothing, one of my best flights ever."
Cons: "Rude check in lady who said I needed to check bag (but didn’t. Loads of space)"
Pros: "Flight attendants"
Cons: "Free water please!"
Pros: "Early departure and early arrival. Everyone was very friendly."
Cons: "We had to wait for staff to come and check in baggage."
Pros: "I got back to London ahead of schedule, which was nice"
Cons: "The whole business of charging for drinks and mediocre food in economy, while they tout that business will get a full meal. BA is NOT Ryanair, or is it?"
Cons: "Seats are cramped. Also I was sitting on the aisle seat and the food trolley hit my elbow so there isnt much space for it to go down the aisle"
Pros: "Food was extremely good for economy & professional & experienced cabin crew."
Cons: "747 showing its age!"
Pros: "Free service Food and coffee"
Cons: "Free service Food and coffee"
Pros: "The crew were all nice."
Cons: "Aircraft VERY aged--NO charging ports?! Entertainment screens tiny and old touch screen interface, slow to respond. Remote control on arm rest=accidental volume changes and such. Do NOT get the veggie pasta, it's terrible. Overhead bins do not hold large bags correctly."
Pros: "Staff were professional and courteous"
Cons: "This was an old plane. Seats not as comfortable, and entertainment system was lacklustre."
Pros: "seat was not comfortable as it was economy. staff was decent."
Cons: "friendlier staff, better food options"
Cons: "The phone number to contact BA in Italy started with 02, didn’t work with a cell phone needs a country code. The check in staff were ok, but the disability support staff in both Rome and London were EXCELLENT and the cabin crew were great."
Cons: "Despite most of the plane being offered refreshment I never was as staff not organised enough to have time to do so, even though other airlines have managed easily."
Cons: "Arm rests don’t fully retract"
Cons: "This was like a Ryanair flight for 4 or 5 times the price."
Cons: "Nothing different from budget airlines nowadays apart from high price of flight, which is what it is all about really. Felt like a Ryanair flight for 4 or 5 times the price. Could have been SOMETHING complimentary to justify price."
Cons: "Almost everything. BA is simply an embarrassment."
Pros: "The crew was attentive and professional"
Cons: "When we boarded the plane it was a bot chaotic, quite a few people were sitting in the wrong seats (including someone sitting in mine). There was also a delay in departing because of weather (which isnt the airlines fault) but maybe a complimentary bottle of water would have been nice."
Pros: "Good service and crew."
Cons: "Seats were very very narrow."
Cons: "Everything else"
Pros: "Usual BA welcome"
Cons: "Luckily the plane was delayed as my incoming flight was slightly delayed and BA had booked me on flights that take 40 minutes to get between gates I had to run. From there the delay grew as seems to be typical of BA at the moment. Also by the time the trolley made it to me there was only one sandwich choice left."
Cons: "Feeling like one of many cattle funnelled through an already over-capacity system."
Pros: "As always no issues at all, I reserved my seats early to get extra leg room which is always great. Fast boarding and a quick flight, having been on a long haul flight a few hours before I needed this to get home."
Pros: "We made very good time. Crew members were courteous and helpful. Check in was very easy. ."
Cons: "Uncomfortable and tight seating on the 787. No room to walk around on 7 + hour trip."
Pros: "I got up to use the toilet after we were allowed to leave our seats then the next thing I knew we were getting ready to land! Qiuck journey amazing!"
Cons: "The quickness of the journey"
Pros: "Typical solid British Airways service."
Cons: "Delayd by 4 hours."
Pros: "Seats are comfortable"
Cons: "No complementary water on Baird."
Pros: "The entertainment is great, food okay but nothing special, upper deck nice and quiet"
Cons: "Crew, they worked as they were robots, they did the service and that was it, we had much better crew in the past, somehow it looked almost if they were bored.... economy class pitch seats, cramped if you are over 185cm"
Pros: "This was the second leg of flight from Gatwick, short stay at St Lucia, only a short flight, didn't leave the plane there so boarding and food comments don't really apply to this flight. Crew changed over here - new crew as good as first leg, excellent, never had problems with this on BA."
Cons: "Entertainment poor, limited choice and mediocre screens. Is the Boeing 777 fleet due a refurb? If so, don't spoil the seats and legroom, but do update the in-flight entertainment system!"
Cons: "Seats were so tight and uncomfortable. This was an 8+ hour flight and it was so hard to rest."
Pros: "Not much"
Cons: "Being delayed for 2.5 hours wasn’t pleasant. Once we finally boarded the crew members did apologise in person to all first class customers. I was sitting with my granddaughter right behind it. We felt like a second category customers.... nothing to add to it it shows it all"
Pros: "Service was excellent"
Cons: "Entertainment system getting a bit long in the tooth on 747. Hot breakfast could have done with some colour"
Pros: "Price and prompt and timely boarding."
Cons: "Old airplane, old entertainment system, below average food on the LHR-IAH leg and charging for food and drinks for the IST-LHR leg which is over 3 hrs."
Pros: "Price was reasonable"
Cons: "They lost my luggage due to transfer"
Pros: "Nothing. Delayed. Waiting around a lot. No satisfactory explanation."
Cons: "Delays. Poor communication. Disappointment that you can now count on BA to be worse than just about all other airlines."
Pros: "Cabin relatively new. Leg room in economy adequate. Cabin crew pleasant"
Cons: "Zero checked baggage allowance!! CDN$70 for first checked bag if booked before hand, $113 per checked bag if paid at airport!! All food and drink on this 4 hour flight from London to Santorini must be paid for!! No peanuts. No cup of soda/pop. Maybe a small plastic cup of water. Bring your own iPod or tablet. No seatback entertainment! On Airbus with very limited overhead hand baggage capacity. Roundtrip cost of this 4 hour flight CDN$800 per person booked 3 months in advance, not much less than transatlantic flight of almost twice the time from Toronto to London on Air Canada Boeing 787 with loads of overhead luggage capacity, free first checked bag, 8 inch screen seat back entertainment system, charging ports, one major meal with wine / beer, unlimited pop, plus snack. A real shocker to get Ryanair amenities on this British Airways flight which was no bargain."
Pros: "Easy on and off the plane"
Cons: "Having to take the shuttle to the gate."
Cons: "There is no variety in the movies or shows The food is really average"
Pros: "Service kind and efficient"
Cons: "Nothing. The flight was quick and boarding was easy"
Pros: "Check in staff and Crew are brilliant. Always pleasant, friendly and helpful. Some aircraft are a little ‘tired’ and a few things don’t quite work as they should. For example my wife’s headphone socket was broken, and therefore no in flight entertainment. But we managed. It was reported to the crew and they immediately set about recording it for attention at next maintenance and changed our seats, so no complaints there. A few of the entertainment screens are scratched, and the controls faulty. But still usable with a little perseverance."
Cons: "Seat row spacing too close. There is little point of a reclining seat because using it greatly inconveniences the passenger behind."
Pros: "Par from below the flight was great as always"
Cons: "CSD was rude and not nice to his fellow staff member in economy. Small delay but not a common thing"
Pros: "It was a very typical short hop flight"
Pros: "Everything on time, good communication, and great flight attendants"
Pros: "The food was decent for coach, and wine is still included at no charge on trans-Atlantic flights. There were multiple recent movies available on the entertainment system, although the picture and sound quality was lacking."
Cons: "Since it was a wide body, there were no overhead vents. And for some reason they chose to heat the cabin to what felt like at least 78 Fahrenheit, in March. Also, the headphone jack was simply missing in one of our seats (rendering the entertainment system useless) and one of the seats in front of us was in permanent recline, cutting in to the already scant leg room."
Pros: "On time. Efficient"
Cons: "No snacks"
Pros: "- cabin staff were attentive and well trained"
Cons: "- entertainment system was tired and out of date even for economy class - seats cramped and uncomfortable especially when seat in front was reclined"
Cons: "Unfortunately BA have turned into a budget airline experience at higher than budget airline prices."
