Cons: "At least be courteaous when your flight is delayed 3 hours"
Cons: "The flight was delayed, normal easy jet flight, not expensive, short on space and just about ok on comfort. But, good flight times and reasonable cost. There was a very big man in my row, with his small wife, he just about fitted on,but I don't think of have accepted him sitting next to me."
Pros: "easy, no fuss boarding and flight"
Cons: "the queuing to have your bags scanned as you board your flight was confusing as there were 3 queues in the same space for flights leaving within 10 minutes of each other. Not a big deal, but someone explaining which queue to those at the back would have been helpful"
Pros: "Friendly crew."
Pros: "Efficient No Frills Value For Money"
Cons: "Cramped Seating"
Pros: "Professional crew"
Cons: "2-hour delay due to "crew welfare issues" Even after a 2-hour delay, they let more cabin baggage on board than was possible to stow in the lockers, resulting in rather chaotic scenes around transfer of baggage to the hold, and adding toi delay.. Entirely avoidable"
Pros: "Great service landed early both ways defo use again"
Pros: "No having to have hassle of traveling"
Cons: "We were charged 47 euro for checking in bag"
Pros: "I liked the price of my flight."
Cons: "The flight was delayed over an hour and there was no update on the app to indicate it. A lot of time wasted waiting in the airport and a very late arrival in Manchester."
Cons: "2h delay"
Pros: "Absolutely nothjng"
Cons: "They overbooked the flight The airport in greeece wouldntntake our cards The airline wouldn’t take our cards for food The children over running the entire flight Sitting on the plane for 2 hours before taking off The level of slow and stupidity with the flight attendants was quite impressive"
Pros: "New plane"
Cons: "Almost 2hour delay"
Cons: "Just because I had my Cary on and a small purse I had to pay 47€ ... unacceptable"
Cons: "I got much less than what i paid for. Never fly this airline again/"
Pros: "Staff were pleasant and the pilot did an excellent job in difficult weather conditions"
Cons: "The flight was not stocked with sufficient food and had run out of sandwiches by row 3. Considering food is purchased for an additional fee this is surely makes poor business sense aside from being frustrating for passengers on a 3 hour flight plus a delay. Flights were very expensive especially when factoring in that we had to pay to check a bag, to select seats and to purchase food and drink. Worked out as terrible value for money when compared with an Emirates flight to New Zealand."
Pros: "Arrived on time"
Cons: "Boarding was slow Seat was very uncomfortable, it is like they discriminate against tall people, leg space gets less and less by the year"
Pros: "The landing was hairy and I have never experienced a fish tail landing quite like it before."
Cons: "The landing was horrid and Im sure I lost £15 off the cashier for wine and cheddar crackers was like a magic trick gone wrong. Sort your float for each flight and stop making assumptions with short change and playing games."
Pros: "Flight was well organised and lef on time."
Cons: "Rating of one star for food was because we didn't have any and entertainment because understandably there wasn't any."
Pros: "Had a good flight that was on time, can't complain."
Cons: "Delayed over an hour, no hand wash in the lavatory"
Pros: "Friendly staff, food ok"
Cons: "Shepherded into a small area with very few seats, and anyway, we were held in lanes like sheep! Seating on the plane - narrow and little space between rows. Had to wait quite a while for baggage to arrive."
Cons: "Booked wrong date before confirmation came phoned to cancel was told I couldn't have a refund would never use easy jet again"
Cons: "Dealing with being overweight Seating was a bit tight"
Pros: "Boarding was fast and easy. I was directed towards the rear if the plane so I didn't have to walk town the entire plane. I was offered to check my hand luggage in the hold for free"
Pros: "I enjoyed the Hummus and Falaffel wrap. Additionally the personal appearance and attitude of the flight attendants were great."
Cons: "Checking in for an EasyJet flight is always challenging because I travel predominantly on Delta(Sky Team) or American Airlines(One World) and I am Diamond Medallion or Executive Platinum respectively. I am allowed 3 bags at 70 lbs, however I am aware that most European Airlines only allow 23 kilos. EasyJet has lowered their allowance to 20 kilos causing me to have to repack in th middle of check in and move items over to my carry on. It is just a big headache and really puts a damper on the travel mood especially for the price of the tickets. Additionally the seats did not recline."
Cons: "Flight delay both outbound and return"
Pros: "The food and drinks they serve are very good The attendants were friendly Lots of leg room I paid extra Seats can’t recline so you don’t have some jerk leaning back on you"
Cons: "I hate the boarding I paid extra for easy plus but it was a free for all. They called for people with speedy boarding and the animals charged the gate. No organization whatsoever. Then they made us wait a half an hour on the jet bridge. They were late"
Pros: "great staff"
Cons: "their 20 kilos per checked in bag was a rip off. Cheap way to inconvenience passengers."
Cons: "Easyjets own App cancelled my flight and the rescinded this cancellation. Thus I travelled to the airport and found it was cancelled again. Worse; initially no rescheduled flight for >5 days. Had to buy a seperate ticket to a different airport."
Cons: "Really slow and chaotic boarding. Bad cabin crew"
Cons: "The airport staff clueless. The flight attendents were terrible, one guy wouldn't stop talking about himself and how great he was. the plane was cramped and smelled."
Pros: "Boarding was efficient when we eventually boarded, could have been more organised."
Cons: "No food left to purchase on a flight that was delayed by 90 minutes, gate staff allowed oversize bags onto aircraft causing issues for crew and passengers, could have been an easy £45 for EZY. No boutique service on flight."
Pros: "Delayed 7 hours"
Cons: "Rude flight attendants"
Pros: "On time, welcoming crew on board"
Cons: "Request to put small handbag into half empty flight bag is just petty. If easyJet insist on checking customers through and then holding them in a pen, they should provide facilities/seating - we are not cattle but that is the impression given."
Pros: "On time fantastic !"
Pros: "Very comfortable experience. Boarding was easy. Check in was convenient. Crew was friendly."
Cons: "Nothing in particular to dislike."
Pros: "Easy and smooth boarding, on time"
Cons: "Cannot lean backward the seat, no complementary drinks at all, laggege cost too expensive"
Pros: "The crew were very friendly, attentive and helpful where possible."
Cons: "The flight was delayed by 1 hour 30 minutes but there was almost no information about this other than the EasyJet app, even the airport boards provided misinformation. A last minute gate change brought upon a stampede, the flight was overbooked, and whilst not EasyJet's fault, 20 children on a midnight flight did not make for an enjoyable experience."
Cons: "This is the only airline that counts the handbag as one piece of carry-on. Since I had my handbag and one piece of carry-on luggage (size and weight as required), I had to pay €60 to take my luggage in cargo, not even in the cabin. I'm very disappointed I paid for the luggage more than I paid for the airfare"
Pros: "It was on time"
Pros: "Good quality low cost airline for a short 3 hr flight. Easy boarding. food ok."
Cons: "too crowded and many drunk people flying. seats are made for midget size people. prize of food a bit expensive."
Cons: "With Ryanair even if you break your leg during your trip and you’ll need an emergency trip back home they will make you pay a double seat (2 tickets because you have to stretch your broken leg) + 50€ commission on that second ticket. A 3€ for a small plastic water and of course a physical screaming/aggression from their staff while you are on a wheelchair. Thank you. Always a pleasure. You never surprise me."
Pros: "Very bad"
Cons: "Very bad"
Pros: "It was ahead of schedule"
Pros: "Most uncomfortable seats I have ever been. The Thames train link seats I took to St Pancras was 10 times better. 49 minutes late departure from Athens and not a single word of apology. The crew onboard was friendly."
Cons: "You figure..maybe say we get some compensation for the delay?"
Pros: "good to have bag drop-off ,flight on time but an older plane"
Cons: "Queues at security at Manchester always a nightmare! .Foreign airports do not have that problem"
Cons: "Delayed flight should have been 9.30pm 2hr delay!!!"
Pros: "Nothing in particular"
Cons: "Quicker boarding. More leg room. More comfortable seats. Long wait for drinks or snacks"
Pros: "Very efficient"
Cons: "No boarding passes, flight delayed"
Pros: "Far more comfortable than expected. Decent leg room."
Cons: "The yellow is overwhelming and don't expect your seat to recliner or to get meals or entertainment but not bad for budget."
Pros: "crew were all fine, uncomplicated journey."
Cons: "simply put magazine pockets on the back of the seats."
Cons: "Ryan Air have changed their online check in system with flights.Basically i was forced to pay for a seat spot on my return flight because they only allow 48 hour check in before flight if you dont purchase a seat. Because of the risk of not having access to print out my boarding pass when in Hungary while checking in there for the return part and that the app may not have worked on my phone it resulted in me paying additional fees or pay a larger sum to check in at Hungary airport. .Online check in should not be locked behind a paywell. This is dishonest business. The flight on the way delayed with no explanation and the company didnt bother to notify the airport of this and update the times on the boards or atleast a delayed notification at the airport. They tried to rush the boarding because of the fact they were delayed and boarded all passengers at same time in both priority and non priority queues which kind of defeats part of the purpose of those people paying the extra for priority boarding. Also this return journey of the flight was delayed too with no communication of a delayed take off. Despite the fact that Ryan Air claim to have the highest percentage of flights arrive on time i have yet to witness a single flight of theirs arrive on time which has me to believe the company is falsifying information on this record."
Cons: "Had to pay $60 to check in because we had booked the flight after Aer Lingus canceled two of ours in less than an hour. It was good we got the flight and I will give kudos for that because we had to get to Manchester before our other flight took off, but we were surprised at the high price to have the person check us in if we didn't do it online. Lesson learned."
Pros: "Getting to my destination safely and getting the heck off their plane!"
Cons: "Trip was Athens - Rome. We had an issue trying to check in online in Greece; it told us to bring our passports to the agent at the airport. We arrived at the airport 2 1/2 hrs before boarding time. After waiting in line the agent told us the check in was closed and we had to pay 55 Euros each JUST TO GET OUR BOARDING PASS. It’s paper with a bar code on it! And we had an issue checking in online. You’re supposed to check in with RyanAir 2 hrs before the plane leaves and we were 4 mins late by the time we waited in line and got to the agent. Nope, still had to pay for paper. Not to mention we had paid extra for priority check in at book. Sure felt like just a cash machine for them. Charge for water too. Awful awful company. I will never fly with them again."
Cons: "We arrived at the airport over 90 minutes before our flight and were never warned we’d be charged a hefty fee if we didn’t check in ahead of time. We did try to check in prior, but there was an error in my confirmation code and it didn’t work. They told us we couldn’t get on our flight, then charged us $487 euros to take a different flight and required us to check all our bags! A total scam and they were extremely rude!!"
Cons: "Our children were placed in separate seats from us and NO one would help to reseat us together. So frustrating. The attendants didn’t have proper change for customers. And Ryan air failed to tell us we would have to take our bags out and through stringent security during a layover in Manchester which took forever. Zero stars."
Pros: "Flight on time and arrived early"
Cons: "Over an hour to disembark and get through passport control so no point in being on time and traveling hand luggage only , this we done because baggage is notmally a nightmare at Manchester"
Pros: "Flight left reasonably on time"
Cons: "Long delay at Manchester waiting for luggage that was hand baggage originally- it took 40-45 minutes for it come through"
Cons: "That the app from Germany won’t let me download my boarding card. It’s petty!"
Cons: "Excessive price for a check in luggage. It is ridiculous. Outrageous."
Cons: "We only received emailed in Greek while we were in the United States and didn’t receive any emailed while we were in Greece prior to our flight to Santorini from Athens. When we went to the airport we were told that we had pay 66 euros per person because we didn’t register online for checkin. We were told that if we didn’t we wouldn’t be let on our flight. This happened with many customers that were inline with us. Terrible flight, would not recommend it to anyone."
Pros: "Nothing. I will never fly them again."
Cons: "They nickel and dime you for everything. Bags, seating, boarding passes. I was given no warning that we had to print boarding passes beforehand. The lines were very long at airport with only 2 people working desk. Flight's don't take off on time and seats are very small."
Cons: "Due to a malfunction on our previous flight's plane which resulted in a 3hr delay, we missed our connection flight on RyanAir. They didn't accommodate us at all and we had to purchase a whole new flight, that departed 10hrs later but couldn't check in for 8 hours to get past security. So we had to just hang out at Athens Airport for 8hrs with all our luggage and minimal services after traveling for 15hrs."
Pros: "Nothing was good"
Cons: "-nowhere tells you that you should pay a €50 fine for not checking in online -paid €150 for overweight luggage even though it cost €70 for the flight -extremely late boarding with no designated que area and no order and no explanation for the ridiculously long wait -crew were bored and maybe even annoyed -bags were dinged the most on this airline -the only reason I flew was because it was a direct flight -never flying again"
Pros: "Short flight and easy checkin with preprinted boarding passes."
Cons: "If you don't pay to choose your seats, they intentionally split you up from your traveling companion and then pester you to pay in order to sit together. Literally, a significant part of the plane were not sitting next to their spouse/companion. And then the crew announced that people were not allowed to switch seat because "assignments were made based on weight and balance calculations"! Wait, what?! No one asked me or my wife our weights, size, or even weight of any carry-ons, so what calculation were they making?! I'll tell you. They calculated how much money they could squeeze and, dare I say, extort from their passengers!"
Cons: "to Whom it may concern. hope all is well, i was so disappointed to be charged 198 euros for the simple reason that I didn't check in and didn't add baggage. I can understand that this is a way to make money out of it but it was too much for it. I was okey about it until I went on the plane and had the cabin crew rushing at me preventing me to stand up to pick my phone from the locker above me for the reason that she's giving instructions... she had a good reason but after she finished it I tried to get up knowing that the flight was delayed for 35 minutes and still she didn't let me stand thought other people behind her where getting up... and she insisted to open my camera bag and get me the phone out of it rather then just giving me the bag, she smiled in a sarcastic way at the end... I asked her to put the camera bag next to my hand bag but she's didn't want to listen and she wanted to put it where she wants... not to mention the very bumpy landing and very fast he was almost run out of the runway, it was scary. I hope you'll read this thought u asked for my opinion Best g"
Pros: "That the airplane functioned correctly"
Cons: "The check in staff at the booth were rude to me and then short with others at baggage check in Athens. I saw the gate check in employee being short to guests as well. the company culture feels negative in my one experience. To compare with another regional carrier who seemed to have it together, Olympus, the Ryanair staff didn't appear to like their jobs. Also, Ryanair charges for seat assignments even when you don't have a preference. And the checked luggage size restriction is the smallest I've ever seen. I pack light but the bag I would have needed to have a free checked bag is tiny. Again, my money will go to Olypus Air the next time I'm in this region."
Pros: "On time"
Cons: "Me on row 2 ...wife row 18. All because we didn't pay 'extra' for seats that we had already paid for in the price of a flight! So, basically, if you don't pay, then Ryanair purposely separate couples in punishment. As a frequent flier, this was the very last time myself and my family will be using Ryanunfair!"
Cons: "The staff charged me 62 euro for checking in my bag at the gate. Beforehand, I tried to check my bag in at the check in counter and the lady told me that I didn't need to check my nag in because it was within the required size. At the gate, I tried to explain the situation to the women, but they forced me to pay or threatened that I would miss my flight. Because it was their fault for not being consistent with enforcing the rules of Ryanair and a lack of communication on their part, I'm never flying with Ryanair again."
Cons: "Service, aircraft, seats, website, crew, price."
Cons: "Long lines, had to pay a lot due to not checking in online (even though no emails said we had to), had to wait in 4 different lines to pay for fees & baggage, terrible customer service."
Cons: "Comfort: No reclining seats. No seat pocket. the back of the headrest is an eye-sore and it is in-your-face for the entire flight. They have their advertisements there and there' no way to avoid seeing their ads. Boarding: I had priority boarding, but I could see chaos taking place . More importantly, there was a lady with serious mobility issues (she was old, limping and walking slowly) and nobody from the crew even spoke to her or offered to help as she was getting on or off the plane. I had to tell someone from the crew to get a wheelchair for her after she exited the plane. Upselling: disappointed. They even sell you scratch gamble games, they charge for water during the flight. Ticketing: they charge to print your boarding pass at the airport. I usually get a printed boarding pass at the airport, but stuck to just using my phone. Can not believe this experience. What kind of a airline is this?"
Cons: "Rude staff at airport, confusing self check in, high bag fees, expectation of a printed boarding pass with no access to a printer, selling goods on flight."
Cons: "We got charged 68 euro each because we were waiting on the line and it was 5 minutes after the check in window closed- as much as the flight itself. When we went to board, the flight was late and chaotic."
Pros: "The ticket was cheap."
Cons: "We had a RT from Rome to Athens. When we returned we arrived at 11pm with a flight at 6am. I had intended to go to a hotel 0.2 mile away, but when we got there and I found out I had to pay a min $50 fee to the cab to leave the airport, I balked. We considered just waiting it out in the airport; until midnight when they suddenly cleared the airport of all the people waiting for transfers and had everyone wait outside on the sidewalk (no seating or anything). I was in shorts and it was 45F. Sigh. Both going to and coming from Athens boarding was more like a riot. I was told it was because Italians were hot blooded. Whatever. I awaited bloodshed. My mother is 73 and we had asked for assistance with boarding. We waited as people filled the hall, surrounded the podium, and slowly were shoved on board, and still no wheelchair or assistance. We kept being told to calm as the gate closed and the departure time passed. Eventually a very nice man got mom loaded like cargo and it was kind of fun, but I didn't get the impression that the airport or Ryanair were a particularly well oiled machine. As usual, arm + leg for baggage. No free drinks and teh entertainment was a non stop cavalcade of sales from the overhead of everything from perfume to lottery tickets. If I had a long trip in a city and wanted to take a short jump to a Ryanair city with my skivvies in my purse, this is a great airline. It's crappy in every way, but cheap. But, if you want a suitcase or food or a seat that doesn't worry you about it's cleanliness and give you leg cramps for weeks, pony up for the extra."
Cons: "First, I tried to check-in online but their system was down. I outsmarted them because I took several screen shots of different timelines. When I checked-in at their counter, they wanted to charged me €40. The lady wouldnt believe me when I told her that I tried to checkin online for 2 hours but their system was down. That's when I showed her the photo of the screen shot, she called someone on the phone telling him or her of the situation and that I have proof of screenshots. They finally allowed me to check-in with no fee. Second, When I dropped my 3 luggages, they wanted to charge me for my 2 check luggage allowances. I told the lady that I bought online for 3 luggages allowances, but their system only showed that I only bought one. It took several minutes for them to realized that I was right. Third, maybe because of my lack of sleep and tired of travelling for over a month, i left my shoulder bag under the seat of the plane. My fiancee's and my passports as welk.as £500, smart tablet, camera, credit cards, jewelries and other personal belongings were inside my bag. That day was the last day of our 40days vacation. When I got outside of the terminal, that's when I realized that I left my bag on the plane. I went quickly to Ryan air desk but the lady told me that we have to go to the lost item counter and wait for my bag to show up. I waited the whole afternoon at the lost item counter and the lady there told me to just call them and ask if my bag has showed up. When I got to the hotel, I called the airline for rebooking on my flight back to my country. I went back the next day to the airport, but my bag has not showed up at the lost item counter. I was able to get the contact numbers of Ryan air in-charge of this matter. I requested someone to call the person in cbarge, telling him that my bag couldnt be lost because of strict security inside the airport, after a long wait, they finally said they found my bag. I waited 1 hour for Ryan air staff to turn over my bag to the lost item coiunter. When I finally got my bag, there were only £40 left in my bag and a piece of jewelly was missing. I will fly back to my country today and I will file a formal complain with Ryan air as well as write the CEO or President of Ryan air of the way he runs the business. I'm glad I got back our passports but the whole world should know about how Ryan air run their business. PLEASE,.STAY AWAY FROM RYAN AIR."
Pros: "On time, great price."
Cons: "Cold breeze when I can out of the Terminal building!"
Cons: "My flight was cancelled due to strikes in Greece. I went to the airport to talk with a rep from RyanAir in person since they charge you to speak to in the phone and they were no help at all. They did not offer any type of rebooking. My initial flight was the following day at 6:15am. The strikes were called off and my flight was reinstated but I was sent an email after I went to sleep so I missed the original flight. I went back to the airport and was refused help to rebook on a new flight because it was my fault that I missed the reinstated flight when I was contacted by email at 10:30pm. I had to book with another airline at a much costlier expense, but they were much more pleasant and accommodating and even moved me to an earlier flight at no charge. i understand the strikes are out of their control but their customer service was terrible."
Cons: "I asked to have my ticket moved up two days which it was for a flight that wasn't full and was flying out in a hour but instead of using me to fill a seat and use my old ticket to sell they charged me a fee to change the date which was more than I originally paid for the first ticket then I had to pay for baggage wasn't included in my ticket like other airlines do. I was not the only one another guy at the counter was being charged extra for something stupid. He also stated he would not be doing business with Ryan Air again. I also will not recommend them to anyone. My flight was an hour late departing and we never were told why when I asked I was told don't worry about it in a very rude tone by the Flight attendant. During the flight it was more like a sales pitch over and over being asked if we wanted to buy refreshments instead of them being provided like other airlines. They also tried to sell me make up and perfume lastly they bothered us about donating to charities. It was a 1020pm-1120pm flight I would of loved to sleep or relax with it being so late not be hounded for money."
Pros: "The price of the ticket."
Cons: "Everything else. The seats were the smallest I've flown in a very long time. The boarding process was chaos. The flight attendants spent more time trying to sell us perfume than they did providing any type of service, such as a beverage service. In fact, they charged money for beverages (a lot too!), as well as pretty much every other aspect of the flight experience. How does it make any sense to charge you money for checking in for your flight at the airport if you have to visit the check in counter either way? Really crappy airline, I would only fly them or recommend them to someone who is also trying to pinch pennies wherever they can."
Cons: "That Ryan air charge you €45 euros to check in your baggage"
Cons: "The plane was way too hot and stuffy. I am usually cold on flights but this was the hottest flight I've ever been on. Three of us travelling together and all too hot. We had the air vents on full all the time and even though we were wearing only thin sleeveless tops or vest t-shirts we still couldn't get cool. My husband felt claustrophobic from the heat and found it very difficult to get any sleep on this night flight - which is a first for him as he's usually asleep as soon as the plane lifts off."
Pros: "affordable tickets for a very short flight to mykonos from Athens, I can't comment anything bad as the flight wasn't long enough to develop a proper opinion on the crew and in-flight service"
Cons: "having to check in minimum 2 hours before flight or be charged 45 euros,"
Pros: "The staff was helpful, I was not stressed out about couple of kilos overweight for luggage. On return they checked in my carry on free of charge. Flights were on time, efficient and no unnecesary delays. The overhead speaker was only so loud it would hurt my ears. Thank you!"
Cons: "The overhead speaker painfully loud."
Pros: "Staff was friendly"
Cons: "Extremely poor organization at the airport checkin kiosk. Not enough staff. Huge lack in instructions and assistance. No proper lines at all. Tickets are cheap but one piece of luggage to check in is very expensive. Can't even get a cup of water for free on the flight. It may be a low fare, but the stressful experience is absolutely not worth it. Will never fly them again."
Pros: "The length of the flight"
Cons: "Not only do they require you to check in online two hours prior to your flight but you have to print out your own boarding pass and if you haven't paid for your luggage you have to now get off line and walk to a seperate line to now pay for all three things that not went from a $50 flight to a $250. I will never fly with this airline ever again! The service was horrible, no one was willing to help"
Cons: "Upon arrival to the Ryanair check in booth we were appalled to find that we were assessed absurd penalty fees for not checking in on-line 2 days prior to the flight. We had to pay 58 euros for the penalty and 46 euro for each checked bag. At least 1/2 of the customers on our flight were duped in to paying the same fee. The staff was rude, unapologetic and unconcerned with the disappointment of their customers. This seemed like an intentional scam to turn a 100 euro flight in to a 200+ euro flight. They should be ashamed of their business practices and I will NEVER be flying Ryanair again. Save yourself the headache and fly Aegean Air."
Pros: "Very friendly service, quick flight"
Cons: "Pain in the neck baggage restrictions, had to pay extra for additional bag"
Cons: "18 hours delay , poor communication"
