They were at the 12th row and after bumping into me, the flight attendant asked me to back up and wait until the beverage service was over to go back to my seat. This was a flight from Frankfurt to Zurich, only about an hour long, and I would have easily spent half of it standing up had I complied with their request. I had to be pushy and ask them to just back up the cart 2 feet so I could get to my seat, which only took them 5 seconds. This was a very rude, illogical, and unreasonable request from the Swiss Air crew."

It happened because it was no room above my seat's bin and the steard helped me to get my heat in another bin. Unfortunately I forgot at the moment when I left the board of the plane, a minute later I reminded that I forgot my hat but I was not allowed to go back and get my hat. I tried to communicate with the Lot&Found office in Vienna airport as I had 2h40 minutes in connection time and it was enough time to get me back the hat, unfortunately nothing was really done from the airport staff to get me my hat and made to me possible continue traveling with my hat. I spoke to two managers, the name I could share with you if you need. The Found office registered my black hat and the plastic box under the number F2018/000682. In this situation I ask your offices to deliver my hat and the plastic box to Lviv airport as sson as possible as this is a special hat for my daily prayers. The lack of transparency regarding baggage fees is outrageous. I have had to pay hundreds of dollars in such fees after having had no such notice - and no inkling - that that would be the case. We call this a "racket" in the United States."

The flight from Vienna to Los Angeles was better than the flight over. It was the newer version on business class seats on the Boeing 777 which are very comfortable. The older version is ok, but needs to be upgraded. Food and wine was very good. Entertainment needs better movie selections.
Lufthansa business class offers exceptional service. Food and wine selection was good. Entertainment was fair - they need better movie choices.
My original flight was cancelled and no explanation was provided. The flight wasn’t automatically rebooked so I spend roughly 4 hours with different service desk workers. They failed to actually “ticket” my booking so I had to then go to the service desk at the airport so that I could checkin. Austrian also needs to update their entertainment. They only add a new release of importance seemingly every quarter.

The audio jack was also not working great; sometimes I did not have audio in my right earbud and I had to turn and fidget the plug. The earbuds provided by the airline did not even work when plugged into the screen, I had to use my own earbuds."

Despite that, the luggage would not come, and the claims office was ridiculous (despite of the destination being within 1 hour of drive from the airport, it took us 24 hours of our short vacation trip to deal with luggage). It seems that LH has these problems regularly, and they don't seem to care; I guess we'll have to try someone else to avoid suffering the same problem every time. The employees already knew the luggages are in a mess, and so were the claims. When taking LH, we have to accommodate luggage delay into our planning."

I was told by staff that there would be a 300 Euro fee, plus the cost of the next flight. This broke my heart. why I wouldn't I simply be put on standby and get on the next flight? I ended up travelling by to Vienna by train, over the course of the next several days. I am a lone woman with a developmental disability, travelling to Europe for the first time. Cons: "1. The comfort in economy class was insulting and horrible. I am 6'3", 175lbs and was trapped in one uncompromisingly uncomfortable position for 8+ hours. Torture is a word that comes to mind. If I were a smaller sized person, 5'8" or less, perhaps this may be acceptable, but for anyone over 6'. forget it. You must pay loads extra to be given a respectable seat. I am hopeful that I don't develop a blood clot from this flight. This lack of room is a seriously dangerous situation for many people on long-distance flights. 2. The seat recline feature added further insult to the mix. Once airborne, the lady in the seat in front of me sent her seat into what was left of any personal space or legroom I had. The video screen on the setback in front of me was literally 6" from my face now. Several people who were also of taller size complained, one was so adamant about retaining his space that he fought verbally with the lady in front of him, and eventually a stewardess had to be called. My wife complained on my behalf, and was able to get the lady in front of me to reposition her seat, but eventually, I noticed it somehow found its way back to recline again. I know Lufthansa is not alone with this predicament, but something HAS TO BE DONE to fix this huge problem with air travel. 3. The food on the flight to Germany was way better than the return trip. The meal consisted of mushy carrots, greasy mashed potato-like side, and a piece of OK chicken smothered in 'Murican BBQ sauce. I was insulted. Lufthansa had been better than this in the past. Oh, and the dinner roll was so dry and crumbly, it could have been weeks old. The snack before landing was called pizza, but I wouldn't call it that It was a bunch of tasteless dough, a little bit of tomato like sauce and a smattering of cheese. I wish Lufthansa would stick to what they do best; German-influenced food. Be true to who you are. Most people I know love German food, and I always have looked forward to LH food selections. Not now."

Even if there were fewer options for cost reasons, I would think they'd still have more watcher enjoyment. Rather than pad the list with the likes of Boss Baby or Going out in Style or even a mediocre 60% offering in the Fast and Furious franchise. Wonderful crew, though, can't say enough about how polite and attentive they are."

Flying from Munich- The entertainment screen was broken, completely unusable. After a hard reset by the flight attendant several times... Still broken. She said she thought it would fix itself once we were at cruising altitude. Nope. Notified the flight attendant who said vaguely "I'll see what I can do..." Never came back to check, never got offered any sort of compensation (even something like a free mixed drink would have been nice), offer to move seats, nothing. So- ten hours with no entertainment/nothing to watch, just a malfunctioning screen. Food was mediocre. We boarded late, and left almost 1 hour late because they had to wait for an employee (who was not working, just getting a ride back) to board. Literally there and back with Lufthansa was a fiasco. On top of it, we have been back for 3 weeks and are still waiting to hear back from Lufthansa customer service. Apparently they only communicate by email with complaints. Not over the phone. So after repeated emails, just radio silence. Terrible airline."

The biggest issue was the extreme delays from Lufthansa that ate into a 4+ hour layover that I should have had at LAX instead I arrived at the opposite terminal from my LAX flight with no time to get through customs and onto the plane I missed the plane by 10 minutes and had to book a hotel that wasn't paid for because it was Lufthansa's fault and not United which then put me and my family home a full 24 hours later than was originally planned."

Cons: "My seat was 32C , me being disabled (wheelchair). My wife seat was 32 A and was DEFECTIVE. It could not be lowered towards the back, actually it has only the fixed position (all the way up). The lady from the seat before my wife's (31A) was lowering her seat ALL THE WAY. my wife protested, the crew tried unsuccessfully to adjust my wife's seat. Finally, instead of considering my condition and relocating us to some other seats (there were several free on this flight), the crew's lead stewardess (Friederich ?- I could not read the label, she kept it under her jacket) decided to upgrade that couple seats by moving them into the Business Class."

Cons: "The crew in my section near the rear of the plane was competent, but snippy. None seemed approachable. I contrast them with the Lufthansa crew from Toronto to Munich who were short-handed but so pleasant even though they were overworked due to some crew members not showing up. Lufthansa food is average at best. The central restroom area on the MUC to ORD flight became filthy. Aren't crew members supposed to police that area? Or are passengers supposed to bring rubber gloves to clean it halfway through the flight?"
Cons: "The fact that they gave my Aunt a hard time about the tickets that was bought for her, because we did not know that when a heavy person books a flight that they need one ticket and a xtra seat, but instead of working with her because she had two tickets they were very rude to her and told her she was not going to be able to come to america that when she got to Manchester she would have to go back to Germany. We were never told what happened to the other ticket since it was not used."
Pros: "Lufthansa is one of few airlines in Europe with pure class and excellent service. Even in economy!"

Delays. Endless walking at Schiphol, most exits closed. No staff or signs.
The flight that you gave us, JQ7 from Melbourne did not exist. Therefore we had to stay in Melbourne for another 24 hours and find another new route and flights to return to Heathrow. All a strain and stress. Your service to us for the return journey useless. So far, I have not found that you have corrected any of your failings and therefore it could also happen again to others tomorrow, next week, or next month. The return journey was a total disaster.

Whether it's her personal opinion or KLM's policy, it's unreasonable to think that a 3 years old child could or should hold her pipi over 20 minutes, while they slowly and inefficiently trying to give out food. Several parents were there with the request to let us through to the toilet with small children and she smiled in our face and said "no, we will finish first and than you can go". She might be not fit for the job anymore, but KLM can't afford this kind of treatment."

Sitting at the gate there was then suddenly a last call to board the flight and a mad rush for everyone to get on. I appreciate that delays happen but the lack of communication ragardinh altered boarding times didn't make the situation any easier"

In my opinion the new A321 long range planes are really not good for long haul flights. 2 toilets at the back of the plane for the whole economy class section, one aisle so you not only have cabin crew trying to get up and down the aisles with trolleys, you also have people queuing down the aisle to use the toilet with no where to go.
It is a long time since I have travelled with AerLingus and the seating seems a littlemore uncomfortable to me.
Pay for food and drink only (3€ for small tea), not even water available. But: it was an older aircraft, so it was quiet, had comfortable & reclining seats with adjustable headrests and seat back pockets. Light years better than the new junk I had the displeasure of experiencing on my Ryanair and Vueling flights last week.
Booked with less 24hrs before flight. Things could not have gone easier or smoother checking in online & uploading forms/vaccinations on the VeriFLY App. Attended JFK airport and in less then 5 mins I’d checked my bag in at the VeriFLY/Aer Lingus. 10 mins after that I’d been through security and was in the departure lounge. Aer Lingus boarded the plane early, took off on time and landed early. All in all it was a great flight, but the coffee was awful 😣

This was my first time flying Aer Lingus from Chicago to Dublin with a connecting flight to Leeds and I was impressed with their service and efficiency. I noticed the flight attendants were attentive and courteous to passenger needs throughout the flight which was 6 hours exactly. I have flown on many airlines and the service on Aer Lingus rates the highest for passenger satisfaction. Look forward to flying them again. Thank you!"

Cons: "It was a short flight, but we had to walk literally a mile (I measured it with my fitbit) to get to the gate to board. Manchester security is frustrating...they follow different rules. Turns out you DO have to have your camera and ANY electronics (European converter, batteries, charging stations) placed outside your carry on. Only place that did it. And then they kept me in security for over an hour to have 3 different levels of security ask me the same questions over and over again. Don't know why they flagged me...maybe a false positive...as usual they won't tell you a damn thing. But the security guys weren't bad people..just been given their orders."

Cons: "Seats cramped. Cabin crew in my section unhelpful and not particularly friendly. Was cold and asked for blankets and was told to go looking for one. Food service selection poorly planned: both main entries had dairy and no alternative was offered when I explained that I was lactose intolerant. Desert was dairy also. Snack had a lot of cheese. I later noticed one of the cabin crew eating a n apparently non-daily pasta dish. One toilet was also out of service."
Pros: "clearing customs in Dublin rather than US was nice. Since we chose the flight based on price, It's reasonable to expect some corner cutting."
Cons: "Aer Lingus operated the flight. Haphazzard ticketing/check-in procedure would have been stressful if it wasn't clear that everyone else on the plane was there in line too. Both legs of our trip with Aer Lingus were on older planes, that had obviously flown a lot of miles. It was a short flight, so food wasnt a necessity, but no beverages were complimentary. Given airline security, water, at least, should be complimentary on any flight."

Cons: "My seat was in a permanent slightly reclined position even though it's not because when the person behind me pulls himself up he would grab the back part. So it's probably broken. And so every time the crew member would check, she would say to keep my seat upright when it already is. It became annoying at some point. The touch screen did not work so you have to push several times to get the movie working."
