Pros: Loved the German touches like real silverware, good wine, and German movies with English subtitles! Also appreciated lots of liquids and never had to go searching for hydration.
Cons: Everything was great until we landed and I stood up in the aisle. A woman two rows behind opened the overhead compartment and pulled her huge backpack out, landing it right on my head! OUCH! I scolded her and she apologized, but, REALLY? Perhaps the crew needs to reiterate how dangerous this is to do! My head still hurts a little on top, almost a week later. Ugh.
Cons: I did not like the fact that the United flight I came in on was over a MILE of corridors away from the outgoing flight.
Pros: smooth as silk flight, beautiful clean comfy airplane. Roomy seats. great entertainment system. Excellent friendly staff. Pretty darn good food. Excellent value.
Cons: having to come back from vacation!!
Pros: Nice entertainment selection
Cons: Too many snacks, food was low quality, flight was delayed with no reason given,
Cons: The boarding gate has too little space and was chaos.
Pros: Professional and efficient, everything one could have hoped for.
Pros: Crew was professional. We did not have food on the flight nor used the entertainment.
Cons: There was a huge lad beside us and the seats & legroom are less than we would like. The huge lad made it uncomfortable Bob
Pros: New plane, comfortable and the staff is nice
Cons: Even a small plastic bag with McDonald's in it is considered a hand luggage! The staff need to be in more control of the travelers - we had one & a half hours delay because a traveller wanted to change seats and didn't sit down.
Pros: Crew is very nice and friendly
Cons: Not enough legroom
Pros: Seats were more comfortable than I expected.
Cons: It would have been better to have 2 carry ons. Even a bag of snacks was considered a carry on and i had to put it and my purse in my backpack.
Pros: Service and boarding was smooth and professional. Everything was nice in regard to the flight. Very pleasant crew.
Cons: Very tight seats. I am glad I am not a large person or had to sit next to one. It would have been very difficult. Even in these days of tight seats this was smaller than most.
Pros: Food and service and that they recycle!
Cons: 60 euros for one checked bag is insane!
Cons: I wasnt accomodated for my meal preference. The cabin was old and creaked alot. I was not informed by kayak of absence of luggage allowance
Pros: The stewardesses hair.
Cons: Do you really want to know? I have multiple complaints with Aegean, not limited to my reservation on this flight, which began after I made my reservation and I contacted Aegean Customer Service about an error I made in booking. My card ran two reservations in my name; not one. I asked that they accept the reservation that cleared my card, and not the one denied. When I arrived at the airport the next day I was informed Aegean Customer Service -- or someone between -- cancelled both of my reservations. How lovely. Walk with me the distance, will you, between the counter of knowledge, where one learns the translation of "Customer Service" in Greek to English is "Go To Hell," to the counter or redemption where one will have the opportunity to purchase my third for the flight. (How happy am I. The flight could have been fully booked and I standing there.) Thankfully this is a leisurely stroll in a round airport terminal I do not know. Akin to the middle of Milan, where one is never quite sure where the hub center is. This is one area I have to compliment Aegean -- their reputation -- made me plan for an extra two hours in the event Aegean Customer Service was toxic. That knowledge was precious as I was not running, dragging my carry-on (another Aegean policy), through an airport, down an elevator, new sector of circle building (which piece of this pie?) to purchase a new ticket, using the same Greek debit card denied to me on one purchase attempt, accepted on second purchase attempt and accepted on third attempt. "2 out of 3 ain't bad" only works for Meatloaf. This is not to belittle customer service personnel who I assume are rat packed in an Aegean dungeon somewhere -- any place is better than where they are -- and when damn customers call with "petty fucking problems" -- like how to get back to Athens -- they must be so stupefied that someone would want to come back from Paris -- a machine generates a void and vacate response. The secret being there are no people to service customers at Aegean. People are expensive. Cost savings. Hair is good. No people. Have you ever flown your own airline and had to resolve a simple problem? I don't think so. I don't think so at all. Stinky decisions are being made at the top, and that stink is sinking down. The first department underfunded is customer service. "It's a business decision." Every step of the way employees and clients are treated like cattle. Decisions are made by the top stink percent; employees can not make decisions; employees are not allowed or encouraged or trained to make judgement calls; employees are overworked from one counter to the next and the baton is exhaustedly shared as we board the plane. The stewardesses do have lovely hair. "Whomever makes decisions at Aegean must have a woman's hair fetish," I think as I buckle-up. Cons: I arrived just before the hour an hour before departure for a 6am flight, which is in line with their 60 minute policy to find the counter closed. I spent another 25 minutes running around the airport trying to find someone to assist including a ticket agent to adjust my flight. Only to be told I couldn't get a flight out until the next day and I had to pay more for my original ticket for it. I contacted customer service and their response was a simple copy and paste of the rules which I was well aware of (apparently I should have really been there 90 mins before and not 60 according to the site). I only booked with the airline because it offered an 8 hour layover in Athens...a chance to see a bonus city. There are plenty of other airlines with more flexible and consistent policies. I have traveled the world on many airlines and have never had an early check in counter close or to have to chase down a representative to get service.
We’re not the seller
At KAYAK we don’t set prices, so it’s not possible for us to guarantee what other companies are selling.
We aggregate tons of data for you
Our service lets you quickly and easily compare results from hundreds of travel sites at once. In this sense, KAYAK is a search engine and we don't guarantee prices we find.
Why aren’t prices accurate 100% of the time?
Prices on airline seats, hotel rooms and car hires can change frequently. Several people may also be trying to buy the same travel option simultaneously. As a result, you may find on occasion that certain prices are no longer available.
