I dont know if it was kayak, flight network or their fault, i just know that once i got to the check in counter i had to pay an additional 160 to ship my luggage absurd. The inly thing i know is that i ll not use them anymore. Plus plane was so old i had a spring coming out of my seat on the plane.

Up front seat, very comfortable! Comfortable enough for me to sleep through the flight which it doesn't happen ever on any flight I've been on

At least I got notification about delay right before going to the bed and did not have to wake up at 4 am

Flight status online at Jetstar website indicated on time departure, had to call to verify delay. Our boarding pass, issued at 2:30 pm still had 7:30 am boarding time. Flight was delayed because of airplane maintenance but we got no compensation, just $10 Australian voucher to use at the airport to buy food.

Website was not clear on baggage policy during booking and upon checking in, we were slammed with baggage fees of $160.00 NZ for each bag. Not happy.

Nothing - terrible service.

All they cared about was charging us for our carryon. They lost my luggage and I missed my meetings in Sydney. Nobody to complain to they have no staff in Sydney. They also tagged my luggage to the wrong passenger and it was an ordeal to get it back once they found it. Talk about a security breach !! Never fly them again !!! Will be sending info to media!! Paid $320 for extra baggage fees coming from an Air Canada business flight ticket with carry-on - they didn't care!! Kelta at ck in only cared about charging us and when I told her to put the bags in my name she said don't tell me how to do my job I know - and then bag is in another person's name and he had to leave asap in Sydney and it was an ordeal to get report done!! They charge for coffee on board and flight attendants were also rude!! Where is the customer service? Terrible !!

Not much about JetStar or Kayak

I like many others, had to pay $320 to get our suitcase on the plane. JetStar said that it was kayak's fault for not including the luggage allowance at the time of booking. First off no one in this world has ever heard of this predatory way to rip people off. I consider it dirty and extremely underhanded. So you book your "economical flight through Kayak and they do not include this fee for $11. Big deal you say, well it gets to be a very big deal. We paid about $600 for our seats only, without knowing that Jetstar would want to also be paid extra for our baggage. They call it baggage allowance. If Kayak knew what the hell they were doing ( they are supposed to that is why we pay them) they would also know about the baggage allowance and it would have been $11. However when we arrived at the airport Jetstar wanted another $640 for our two 20kg bags. We were able to talk them down to $320. We went from Auckland to Sydney and for our connecting flight they wanted an additional $640. I said no, and that they could keep the bags. At that point I was told to get control of my emotions. Eventually we did not have to pay any additional "baggage allowance" to get to the Sunshine Coast. If I had kept control of my emotions they would have charged us at total of $1280.00 for our luggage on a $600 pair of connecting flights. What bullshit!!!!!!! Also wanted $4.00 for any kind of drink on board the plane. don't even think of food or a drink on board the plane unless you have money to burn!

My name is Parag Mokashi, Indian Passport No. Z1788332 had booked 2 return air tickets from Singapore to Auckland with details as follows: Qantas Airways Flight QF6 - Depart Singapore Changi Apt, SG (SIN) 01Dec16 (Thu) 23:50 Arrive Sydney Kingsford Smith Apt, AU (SYD) 02Dec16 (Fri) 10:50 Flight QF145 - Depart Sydney Kingsford Smith Apt, AU (SYD) 02Dec16 (Fri) 11:55 Arrive Auckland International Apt, NZ (AKL) 02Dec16 (Fri) 17:10 Flight QF144 - Depart Auckland International Apt, NZ (AKL) 13Dec16 (Tue) 08:35 Arrive Sydney Kingsford Smith Apt, AU (SYD) 13Dec16 (Tue) 10:15 Flight QF81 - Depart Sydney Kingsford Smith Apt, AU (SYD) 13Dec16 (Tue) 11:15 Arrive Singapore Changi Apt, SG (SIN) 13Dec16 (Tue) 16:30 I had booked these tickets online through CheapTickets.sg on 17th September 2016. While booking the tickets mine and my wife’s full details such as the Name, Nationality and Passport were given. In spite of this nowhere was it mentioned in the Quantas terms and conditions or any prompt/popup given while booking the tickets that Australian transit visa is required for Indians since the flight is via Australian city. I had booked the tickets well in advance and had enough time to get transit visa had there been any information about it mentioned. On 1st December 2016 when we went to the Changi airport we were not allowed to board the plane as we did not have the Australian transit visa. We were told by Quantas personnel at the airport to go to the Australian embassy in Singapore to get the transit visa and that we would get it within a day. Next day we went to the embassy and found that the Australian visa is done by VFS global at a different address. When went there they informed us that Australian visa takes minimum 5 days. I had all my hotel bookings in New Zealand already done hence I had no choice to take a direct Singapore Auckland flight via Singapore Airlines at a very high price on the next day. I also lost one day of my hotel booking in Auckland and had to forfeit the money. I and my wife had to go through the psychological trauma of being refused to board the plane, then the next day running around the Australian embassy / VFS global office for trying to get the Australian transit visa and facing the uncertainty regarding our new Zealand trip which was planned well in advance for our 25th wedding anniversary

This would have been my 4th and final flight with Jetstar. I was allowed to board the 3 previous flights with my luggage without any problems but when I got to the gate to board the plane this 4th time I was refused because of the weight of my luggage which forced me to stay in the Auckland airport for 24 hours. I was given two choices at the gate (after already passing through check in and security), I could either pay $160 or throw away half of my luggage. This was outrageous and unethical as Jetstar offered my two impossible choices. I did not have $160 nor did I seem to have time to sort through half my luggage to throw it away which left me missing my flight. The Jetstar employee, who was as cold as ice, then walked me out where I was told I would have to catch the next flight, the next day, and needed to pay $75 to transfer my ticket and pay the normal fee of $40 to get my luggage checked. AFter sleeping in the airport, the next morning I went to check in only to be told the flight was cancelled due to mechanical issues and was transferred to another airline (Qantas: which was very good! You should use them). I would have been happy to pay the normal fee of $40 at the gate but once they open the gate the fee goes through the roof. This is unethical when it forces a person to not board there flight to another country. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH JETSTAR UNLESS YOU HAVE ONLY 7KILOS OF LUGGAGE WHICH IS BASICALLY A BACKPACK.

Terrible !!

I dont know if it was kayak, flight network or their fault, i just know that once i got to the check in counter i had to pay an additional 160 to ship my luggage absurd. The inly thing i know is that i ll not use them anymore. Plus plane was so old i had a spring coming out of my seat on the plane.

Up front seat, very comfortable! Comfortable enough for me to sleep through the flight which it doesn't happen ever on any flight I've been on

First flight I've been on that I got nothing to complain about! Crew were friendly everything was awesome!

Purchased seats at front of plane and parent with toddler travelled get alone. Assured seats not at back of plane. But once on plane was the very last seats and no recline.

It was a safe flight.

I have flown Qantas several times across the Pacific and have had much better experiences on the longer flights. Everything was delayed, the plane was small, and the food was pretty bad, even by airplane food standards. I just expected more given what I have come to expect from Qantas.

We didn't experience any problems, all went well.

I can't think of anything I didn't like,

Prices are per person, are for e–tickets and include all taxes & fees in GBP.

We attempt to get accurate prices, however, prices are not guaranteed.

Here's why:

We’re not the seller
At KAYAK we don’t set prices, so it’s not possible for us to guarantee what other companies are selling.

We aggregate tons of data for you
Our service lets you quickly and easily compare results from hundreds of travel sites at once. In this sense, KAYAK is a search engine and we don't guarantee prices we find.

Why aren’t prices accurate 100% of the time?
Prices on airline seats, hotel rooms and car hires can change frequently. Several people may also be trying to buy the same travel option simultaneously. As a result, you may find on occasion that certain prices are no longer available.

More questions or if you have a bad price to report to us
Please send us an and someone from our team will get back to you promptly.
