Pros: "There was one stewardess that really made the trip feel less "restricted" in the way she would greet, talk, serve, and just being what I always experienced good international flight staff to be. I wish I was able to get her name so I can praise the airlines for hiring such a great staff like her."

I would have thought it would be quite easy to confirm the person without them having the receipt as the their name and seat number is on the receipt but he had to go back and check if it was okay. - Found it hard to sleep on the overnight flight due to uncomfortable seats. Would probably not be an issue in upper class. - No comment on entertainment as did not use it."

Cons: "I found the seats on this Virgin Atlantic A340 flight from LHR (London Heathrow) to LAX (Los Angeles), an eleven hour flight, to be unacceptable. The seats were very crowded. I am six feet tall, and was very uncomfortable all during the flight. I could not sit with my knees together. I had to spread my knees to sit comfortably. Holding that position for eleven hours was very uncomfortable. Anyone taller than me would have even more trouble. Also, every seat has a very large box underneath, I presume for the audio/video system. This is a terrible location. There is very little room to stow anything. But much worse, I couldn't straighten my right leg. All-in-all, I found the seat situation totally unacceptable. I will likely never fly Virgin Atlantic again because of this."

However, due to weather, we had to fly for an additional 45 minutes in the sky. The crew was as nice as they could be in that situation just overall a frustrating."

My flight was kind of an outlier experience as someone on my flight fell very ill and needed immediate medical attention. She has to eat just fruits. My mother is a diabetic patient and she needs a food every after some time. I never had such a bad experience before with any other airlines."

I had to wait for a small plane coming from Edinburgh then wait for it to be emptied of passengers and cleaned. This meant we were over 2 hours late into Istanbul. No explanation or apology. I then missed my next flight in Istanbul and had to purchase another ticket. I cannot believe that air passengers are treated in this way!!! I will follow this up with KLM when I go home from my holiday."

I was told when I booked the seat that the headphones would be complementary. So I did not bother to bring any assuming they were going to keep their word; I figure I'd make it work and watch a movie without sound. If that isn't bad enough midway through my nine hour flight my monitor went out and would not turn back on."

Cons: "Horrible. First, we lost a suitcase. It could happen but for two days they did nothing and only told us stories (so as not to use the word lies). Within a few hours (and thanks to airline assistance) we were able to locate the suitcase. Even then it took them two days to bring it to us, two precious days off our planned vacation (7 days) At the end of the shortened vacation, we got to the chek in, and told that since the ticket I had purchased form them two months earlier was too cheap ... and since the flight was Over booked, they would take me off the plane if all the passengers would arrive. It's unnecessary to describe what I felt until the plane took off. They apologize constantly, but do nothing practical. a bae company. no me nor my freinds/family will go with KLM"

"From using an app that denied my negative covid test THREE times because they misread it and tried to mislead me about it ("Maybe the date isn't specified?" when it very much was and I'd drawn attention to its correct location); to the fact that my connecting flight wasn't even available in this app was supposed to determined whether I could fly to my final destination; ti the fact that a supposedly vital piece of documentation wasn't even mentioned in that app; to the unnecessary delaying of a connecting flight by several hours that was suddenly on time again upon landing minutes only late, which somehow required all passengers with ANY connecting flight to run to their gate regardless of destination; to the fact that the boarding passes didn't include my initial return flight and only the connecting, which was cause to be denied entry to the airport, to the apparenly unknown and much disputed location of the check-in where I would have to report to get said boarding pass; to the ONE HOUR WAIT behind maybe 20 people total in spite of having no bags to check because again, I had no boarding pass; to the app incorrectly stating that no additional covid test was needed only to find out after having been at the airport THREE HOURS; to the fact that my itinerary"couldn't" be changed because it was "in flight" while the "fare difference" I would be charged went up $100 every hour I was forced to wait because there were magically no notes regardingmy flight every time I called back as directed; this was a miserable experience all around. Never recommending aer lingus to anyone ever and certainly won't fly it again. Guess I won't ever find my long lost relatives..."

I reached the airport only to find out that the booking was cancelled by Opodo though I received an email from Opodo 24 hours before advising me to check in on the flight. As I was busy with some construction work at home I thought I would check in at the airport. Opodo advisors were not helpful on the phone and I ended up missing a family get together due to their incompatibility."

The cabin wait staff is ill trained for customer service. They seemed to only have requirements to check off on a list. We will likely make every attempt to not fly your airlines again."

Had to buy an upgraded economy just to be able to endure the long flight. It would be nice to see the cart come through again for coffee refill service."

The balthrooms were clean and felt spacious. I didn't eat the dinner because we ate a large dinner before the long flight. I did tasted it and it was good. The selections of movies was also very good."

Cons: "It took two full hours from check in to the gate, with no clear direction on where to go at any point (this has more to do with the venice airport). Flight was delayed which was lucky, as no one could get through the lines in time. 25 minute wait upon landing for a jet bridge to be attached, then another 50 minutes for baggage to appear. All in all it was more than a 7 hour process to fly Venice to Dublin! There may have been some sort of internal system problems, but they were never mentioned which really just led to lots of frustrated passengers throughout the whole experience."

The rule about registering for a vegetarian meal 72 hours advance is ridiculous. there should always be meat-free options for people, not just vegetarians. The flight attendant was kind enough to find some fruit salad for me, out of the crew meals, but she shouldn't have to. in general they don't feel very warm or inviting."

Pros: "The on-screen entertainment as good and easy and free. Nothing was complimentary - not even water! Cabin was very clean. Captain was quite cordial and informative."
Cons: "The sound quality on the entertainment system was horrible - they provide cheap earbuds that are horrible and you can't use your own because of non-standard plugs."

My luggage didn't travel with me so it didn't arrive in Orlando when I did. I was fortunate that it made the next flight so I only had to wait an hour. Some fellow Irish passengers weren't so lucky."

While I still had tons of questions of my options (and was calm and polite!), they hung up on me. I ended up not even going on my flight and note being able to cancel my flight. Ridiculous, rude, and plain unpleasant. I will never take this airline again."

Cons: "Showed up an hour and a half before departure time at Chicago OHare and there was no one staffed at the check in desk to print out boarding passes and they had no electronic kiosk to print out boarding passes either. There was just a sign that said call customer service. Then the several passengers that were never boarded for the afternoon flight due to the unavailability of staff were asked to pay $200 to get on the next flight due to "corporate policy." We refused and booked another airline. Horrible customer service."

Cons: "I appreciated the entire flight experience and crew overall but one thing I didn't appreciate is that I was unable to have dinner because I am vegetarian and didn't order a meal in advance. But about two hours later they passed out a snack that included a vegetarian sandwich option. I thought it would have been thoughtful and common sense if they offered me the sandwich as an option instead of me having to remain hungry until the snack was offered to everyone later on."

Pros: "I wish more companies would run like Aer Lingus. Flying is usually very unpleasant. Aer Lingus was Great!!"

Cons: "I'm not a very large person, and yet found the room I was allowed for seating to be quite tight. Any more than the short flight from London to Dublin makes the flight unbearably cramped. I felt numbness from thinness of seat cushioning, and had to have my shoulder and arm butted up against the person next to me forcing me to sit cockeyed and with arms in unnatural position off the armrest to allow their larger frame space next to me."

Cons: "Our flight got cancelled in toronto Lester B Pearson Airport due to a snow storm and we were stuck in the airport for almost 24 hours and we werent even offered a hotel for the night. So we decided to book a hotel for the night through Kayak and paid over $200. Went to the hotel and were told there were no more rooms available until the next day. We called kayak customer support and they wouldn't refund our money!! Horrible experience never again! Never flying Air Canada again !!"

Cons: "I had trouble checking in online AND printing boarding pass at kiosk. Plane left 45 minutes late. Boarding was chaotic. Headphones did not work with entertainment system. Drink order was incorrect... I just had to pretend I was on crappy public transport for two hours for a one hour journey. I laughed out loud when they announced on flight that Air Canada was voted best North American airline. Riiiiight."

I Even though I made it through Customs in the shortest time possible, and back through security, I still managed to narrowly make my second flight. They were final-calling my name and actually taking off earlier than expected. Had I been 2 more minutes late, my flight would probably have taken off. I didn't check any bags either, so had I checked one, I don't think I would have made my second flight."

Cons: "The post office lost my passport and I was unable to go on this flight. Customer service was unwilling to provide a solution that did not cost thousands of dollars to rebook and see my family for Christmas."

Cons: "Air Canada Boarding agent was rude when I inquired about taking an earlier flight. Her reply was, "The boarding for this earlier flight has now closed- even if I were able to get you on, you would be paying a change fee". I'm tired of the attitude of many of the Air Canada boarding agents."

Cons: "For a 5+ hour flight only beverages were offered - anything else (such as a snack or small meal) had to be purchased. Very cheap service IMO. The selection of entertainment (movies/tv shows) was exceptionally limited and out of date. Their way of boarding the plane (via zone) is very backwards as families with children weren't asked to board until half way through the plane loading (unless those families had already paid for the more expensive zone upgrades). Most airlines let them load first to give them extra time. My checked bag was 1.2kg over the limit so I had to open the bag and switch 1.2kg of clothing into my carry on in front of the rest of those checking in. What an embarrassment and such foolery. All in all Westjet does a better job for trips across Canada. Will not be trying Air Canada again."

It was about 6 early morning flight came at airport by 3:00am thought will sleep on air. On boarding, only drinks was offered, not even cookies or snacks there."
