I liked boarding plane right outside gate at BHX, without the need for a bus shuttle tom plane. I did not like waiting in line for over an hour to check-in luggage.
Overall, a very good experience and a great price! Lovely crew and the food was not bad at all! A few delays but all connections were made and their Passport and customs process was very well done!

Cons: "Opodo messed up my booking. I reached the airport only to find out that the booking was cancelled by Opodo though I received an email from Opodo 24 hours before advising me to check in on the flight. As I was busy with some construction work at home I thought I would check in at the airport. Opodo advisors were not helpful on the phone and I ended up missing a family get together due to their incompatibility."

It should say a boarding time and not “gate closing time” whatever that meant. Food was served too early. And it wasn’t good. No good food options to purchase."

Cons: "Before we boarded this plane we arrived at Aer Lingus for a 2 hour layover. The airport only had a snack bar open and an express bar with only drinks. There was cafes upstairs but that was closed off to hundreds of people with a layover between flights. When asked they said it was closed off by escalater and elevator to all of us. They blocked the escalator with a giant gate sign. People waited in line at a snack for over 20 mins for a bite to eat that was express food or a choice of 5 sandwiches that came hot that actually sucked not worth the money at all. People were pissed! I was looking forward to a nice meal for my layover but that definitely did not happen! They only came around once with drinks on a 6 hour flight, then twice for coffe and tea. When I asked for a sprite they said they ran out of things completely"
Pros: "Very easy transit at Dublin. Staff very friendly and helpful. Immigration at Dublin for UK and for USA works great. One doesn’t have to wait in line for hours to get immigration and customs clearance at the destination after a long flight."
Cons: "They lost my partner's baggage between Boston and Berlin. This was due to the fact that the attendant at the Aer Lingus desk in Boston couldn't register the fact that Dublin was not our final destination. Ridiculous experience."

Once on the flight, the hanging flap that separates the first class from economy, was loosely hanging and rattled fiercely and on lift-off swung back toward our faces. We had to pay 4 pounds for a coke and weird coffee. Then we had to circle London while we waited to land because of the IT mess in London."

Our original flight was at 05:35 but was later cancelled which we only discovered when we went to check in. The airline had now moved us on to the next available flight 14:05. We had both booked priority boarding but I lost mine on the new flight as it was fully booked. When we arrived at the airport we found that we had been moved yet again to an even later flight. Our new flight was due to depart at 14:20 but departed an hour late. What a joke.

The scheduled time is longer than any flight has taken, but I think this is actually a realistic approach given the probability of a delay. There is an issue with 2-3 year olds and seat belts - they are not allowed to travel on a parent's lap, but they can wriggle out a lap belt easily and so are unsecured."
Cons: "I was charged for my carry on luggage from the UK to Israel, despite the fact that this was the same bag that I boarded the first leg from Israel to the UK. Secondly, many of the other passengers had several bags, bigger bags, prams, hat cases, etc. I felt that i was chosen at random, and that the rule is not applied equally."

But i arrived to the flight after an injury in my leg when i can barley walk and needed my handbag as it has my painkillers and my leg band, but they refuse to let me keep it and keep insist that i have to put it inside the cabin bag. At the end i paid 60 euro!!!! for that as i didn't have energy to argue and the flight was about to leave. This is the last time i'll use easy jet!!! i'd rather pay more and get some human behavior. very very poor and disappointing experience."

This was not to be as I got on the plane and had to put my bag back in an overhead locker in row 10. I was not impressed. When I eventually got off the plane I realised that some people had 3 carry on bags. 2 wheelie bags and a big rucksack. How can that be allowed. I did catch my flight but was not impressed with the baggage storage. the air crew were not helpful either."

I knew it was 47 Euro and when it was our turn to approach the check-in person, I had my credit card ready with our passports and boarding passes. The woman seemed put out that we had another bag and after several minutes of conferring with a colleague and filling out a form, she gave me the form and my credit card and directed me to another area to pay the 47E. This was on the other end of the terminal and involved another queue, more discussion, finally paying and getting another form to take back to the first woman who finally processed our paperwork, printed the baggage tickets and sent them on their way. BTW, we travel fairly light. I had a 24-inch roller and a small daypack on my back. My wife started wity a carry-on roller and a small daypack, but now at the end of our two-week trip, with purchases she'd switched her carry-on to a 24-inch roller instead. If I'd known what an insane system Easy Jet has, at least at Catania, I'd have tried to add the extra bag online the day before."
