Cons: "I checked two bags and paid for them. The flight was full. I dutifully got in line for zone two. Next thing you know, at least 25 people got to board early and have free bag check. Really? I should get $35 dollar refund."

My bag landed on the belt completely open, clothes and laptop hanging out bag onto belt, bag was damaged, zipper broken with holes in the fabric, bag was soaking wet! I had to find a shuttle to another terminal the shuttlesare not marked it was very confusing"

On July the flight was schedule for 9...pm then delayed for two hours because of a fire, other passengers said, in London. At around 11pm, we were asked to line up for boarding. We stayed on line for an hour and fnally to be told the flight was cancelled. We were treated less than animals by British Airway. No ACCOMODATION!!!!!!!! No ACCOMODATION!!!!!!! We slept on benches at the airport. To be fair to you, I will not recommend British Airway to anyone."

After we landed the plane came to a sudden stop and the Captain told us the lights to guide us to the appropriate place were not working this was a long delay. When we got to the disembarking area we had another long wait and the reason was due to the bridge not working,eventually we went out the back of the plane. The most unbelievable problem was the announcement just before take off that both rear toilets were out of action,since the flight was late this was an issue and I do not believe that both toilets could be broken more likely that there was no person available to clean them."

Pros: "Had to deboard onto the tarmac via a set of stairs as the connecting ramp was not working. A little difficult for me due to mobility issues. However, the crew voluntarily saw me struggling and took down my suitcase, very nice!"

Cons: "The flight staff of my flight to Amsterdam were horrendous. I was in an aisle seat and was woken up by the drink cart hitting my leg and a hot coffee being poured a good 7 inches from my face. This was not acknowledged or apologetic. They also took drink orders by shouting. They were easily the loudest people on the plane and made the flight way less comfortable than it could have been."

Cons: "1. Bought ticket via kayak chicago to prague, so I got outgoing trip on British airways but they codeshare it out to Aer Lingus. Unfortunately, these dumbos haven't figured out that no matter what the gyrations they do, I still want to be able to pick my seat beforehand. Nada. Not possible online. And forget calling aer lingus 800 number. called twice and was on hold for 30 min each time, they dont bother answering. 2. At airport, I was willing to pay extra for a good seat because of the issues above, so they said they would help me out. Ha - the manager who purportedly was helping me out gave me a seat up front next to a shrieking infant and behind a bassinet (he knew exactly what he was doing but didnt care). They really lie and think we're idiots. 3. Same thing for flight from dublin to prague. This time last row next to toliets Dont fly aer lingus if you dont book directly with them, same for british airways I looked at BA's website - they do let you book a seat in advance but you must pay something for every single seat. Crazy. There are no free seats"

Pros: "BA couldn't get our boarding passes to work no matter how many times they printed out new ones and we had to land into proper arrivals (though we were in transit in Heathrow) and tell five different groups of staff what was going on, even though it wasn't our problem but their computer glitch. One man at security was even rude to me, telling me not to just stand there. ( I had been told to stand there whilst they went and tried to remedy for the umpteenth time). When I showed him my disabled badge and said I would personally prefer NOT to be left standing for hours, he said 'so?'. It was a nightmare. It took hours and still wasn't sorted and in the end the immigration officers had to be called to the boarding area to allow us on the flight with non functioning boarding cards. It wasn't even our fault. REally upset about it."

I asked for water to cool myself down and ov waited about ten minutes to get it after hitting my help button multiple times. The flight attendants may have been overwhelmed with the requests as there were many just like me who struggled so they came off very rude. The plane was also not updated at all - not personal entertainment and once again, no ac/air for people to control."

Over priced,horrible food and no workin tv. Expect more for the price. Will be my last time using them after years of doin so"

Cons: "I was traveling today with my daughter, who is 6 months pregnant, my 3 1/2 & 18 month old grandsons, my husband & son-in law on an international flight from Chicago to Manchester. I was very disappointed a 757 was used for an international flight! No attempt was made by staff to accomodate our family with a extra seat for the infant, even though there were a large number of rows with empty middle seats (4 of which were directly behind them!) The 1st indication of the beginning of the NIGHTMARE was when the plane arrived in Chicago and overshot the gate, this caused almost an hour delay! (We heard our crew saying "oops" while looking out the window at the plane arriving & then again when they were discussing it would have been faster if the plane had used a different method to get to the gate again.) This was then followed by a mechanical problem with a frozen water valve, requiring us to be de-iced x2! Then we started to taxi out and again had to return because of a hydraulic problem that required repair. I think we were delayed almost 3.5 hours. The crew did bring a round of water during the onground delays, and offered free drinks later in the flight. The icing on the cake was not getting the stroller back at the gate because there were no baggage handlers. I can't tell you how much FUN that was trying to corral a toddler & 3yr old with all our carry-on bags while getting thru customs! Did I mention in our haste to get off that plane we overlooked my daughter's winter maternity coat in the overhead! May be time to switch to the Friendlier Skies of United for our UK travel!"

Cons: "The quality of the plane was a real shock after the excellence of the others on this holiday. It was impossible to sleep which was really needed on this particular leg of our journey. I asked if there was a spare pillow because I had a bad back and needed lumbar support. Also we paid a lot extra to book our seats and I could really not see why. I assume it was for the pleasure of sitting together!"

Cons: "Crew was not skilled or kind in dealing with others around me. Had the finesse of a frustrated 10 year old when asking other to check their bags."

Cons: "I booked this as Finnair flight. Finnair is in terminal 5 (international) at ORD. There was nobody at the desk... I was getting nervous. I had to look at my Kayak app for info about my flight ... It was operated by American Airlines out of Terminal 3. I barely made my flight. You should be more explicit on the front end so these mess ups don't happen."

Some people were in the lavatory for 15 mins and your crew knocked on my door after less than 5. Could have sworn at the stewardess it was so rude! 0/10, would rather fly a kite"

Cons: "Meddlesome gate agent split my family up before we boarded, lost one of my bags at SFO (got it 1.5 days later)."

Cons: "It was a red eye flight so we expected the crew to be more sensitive to the fact that people would be trying to get some sleep to help adjust to the time change ahead in England. The crew, one girl in particular was so incredibly loud as she walked up and down that it was impossible to sleep. She shouted over me and my husbands head despite seeing us asleep, to speak to the third person in our row. It made our journey much more difficult and our arrival in Manchester start the wrong way. Really disappointing and totally controllable."

I've spoiled myself by flying on foreign carriers who all have MUCH friendlier flight attendants, better food, and no charge for drinks. that would include Air France, KLM, Turkish, LOT and British Airways."

I had insurance on 1 flight so i hope i can get 1/2 of my ticket price back. Yup, I messed up the insurance on the 2nd flight. My bad. So I'm out for 1 ticket, and a broken leg and torn ACL and I didn't see my folks. Can you do anything to help me, United? Please? Thanks. Pretty tough week."
