Cons: "During my flight from LAX to LHR I requested (pre-booked) a special meal (Asian Vegetarian). During the flight I was told there was no such request in their records and therefore I had to stay hungry for the entire duration of the flight. During my return flight from LHR to LAX the in flight entertainment system for my seat was not functional. I requested it to be reset several times and in spite of the hostess resetting it several times, it did not function. I had to stay without an entertainment system during the entire flight. This was my first time travel with Virgin Atlantic. I may never fly Virgin Atlantic again."

There is no way to get into the "brace for impact position" with arms over your head and head in your lap! This is really unsafe, not to mention really uncomfortable. The flight was long, so comfort would be nice! Our first flight was regular seats and I was pretty miserable and I am a slender woman 5'6". The extra 3" was great, and we had to pay more on the return trip. The FAA should be investigating seat size and safety on planes."

Pros: "Superior comfort, class, and style. The crew was friendly and accommodating, the pilots kept you up to date with flight info and departure/arrival time (and kept the seat belt light off almost the entire trip), the food was delicious and offered throughout, and the entertainment was top notch. Seats were comfortable (we had bulkhead row Space+ and they were worth every cent for the international long haul from LAX-BNE and SYD-LAX) and everyone got a pillow/blanket. We got premium noise-canceling headsets, water, and a little care kit including an eye mask and earplugs and a pen to fill out your travel documents. The overhead bin space was huge and we got two free checked bags of luggage up to 50lbs each (I don't know of that's standard or not, or if it came with Space+ seats). SERIOUSLY the best airline."

Two days later I guess is an appropriate time to then put it on the next flight? What? My bag is 20 pounds, smaller than a standard sized Dachshund. And low and behold they said I can spend up to $50 on necessities. Too kind, virgin Australia, too kind."

Cons: "Curbside needs to stop chasing cash tips and do their jobs. If they focused on that tips would be easy to come by. The curbside attendant that took my bag didn’t even bother to check my id. He asked me my name and asked where my destination was. I told him Cincinnati as a layover then LaGuardia where he said that was wrong. He then proceeded to print a boarding pass that wasn’t mine and load my bag into the conveyor. Not 5 mins go by when I realize what happened I wound up having to go to special services to rectify the situation. Which ultimately consisted of me waiting another hour in LaGuardia to get my bag. Please delta have these curbside handlers actually want to do their job and stop chasing cash tips."

I called the agency to find out if I needed a Visa for my visit to Australia and the told me no. So when I showed up to the airport I didn’t have the right documents and I MISSED MY FLIGHT. Also the wouldn’t just change my flight and charge me the change flight fee. They cancelled my flight entirely and made me buy a whole new ticket!!! Worst flight experience I’ve ever had and this is not my first time flying to Australia or out of country."

Pros: "Got to London on-time (early, actually) and safely. The in flight meal was okay. The leg room in comfort plus was great, the mobile app was awesome, and the staff (check-in, gate, cabin and flight deck) were professional and friendly all around."

Unfortunately, the Delta 767 doesn't offer any upgrade for a wider seat beyond Delta One, and my employer won't spring for that. Too bad there isn't a premium economy option. Also, the entertainment unit in the seat next to mine malfunctioned, which you wouldn't think would impact me that much except that because it was "seeing" touches randomly throughout the flight, the screen would turn on, off, brighter, dimmer, play random stuff, and just generally be as annoying as possible to everyone nearby throughout an overnight flight."

Also seated me next to a person who needed 2 seats to himself. Please never seat me next to a passenger who cannot fit in their own seat. I am switching to SWA."

A pleasant flight overall with my first impression being an airline with current popular music playing in the background and flight attendants cheerful. Since I was traveling alone, I opted to not purchase my seat prior to my flight date, instead I chose my aisle seat within 24 hours for free. I checked in my one bag and found out I had pre-checked so my security check went so smooth at the new terminal 2 at LAX. Looking forward to my flight back on June 15."

Pros: "The cabin crew serving the main cabin were exceptional. They were efficient, kind and FUN. We were an hour late leaving and 2/3 of the plane was worried about tight connections. They handled it with grace giving each person their departing gate and asking everyone to let a gentleman off with a 10 minute connection. They made the flight memorably enjoyable."

Also when I attempted to check in 24hours prior in order to make sure I got a seat id be happy with it said that it wasn't available for my flight so I couldn't check in and I couldn't chose a seat but regardless I still should've gotten the seat I wanted bc of my preferences at booking. Don't pay the extra to ensure your seat it's a total rip off"

Requested a gluten free meal, no crew can figure out it that meal was on board (not in system nor on paper list), so at the end no food for me. I have been dying BA for last five years and this had to be the worst BA flight I have taken, absolute chaos at the check in counter and no organization. One BA counter agent Alexa tried to help but it is just too late. I expected more from BA."

Cons: "The seats are very small--and I am a small woman--so the flight felt cramped. The food was just ordinary airline food--little taste. Coffee served essentially black--no offer of milk or cream. Take it or leave it-- Crew helpful if you could flag someone down. Most irritating: could not check in online for some unexplained reason and required to arrive two hours early. BA does no subscribe to TSA so spent time in a line unnecessarily. AND, then the crew arrived over an hour late so the flight left at least an hour late. The crew explained that their downtown bus did not arrive and they could not arrange one. Given the close proximity to the airport, this should have been a 10 minute cab ride."

Pros: "Having read horror stories online about booking with Kayak's partner Justfly, I was prepared for the worst (last-minute cancellations, partial refunds, all-around crummy service). Actually, my Finnair flight was great - it was operated by BA, so it was a nice new double-decker Airbus plane. It was maybe 3/4ths full, so I nearly had a row to myself - shoutout to the jerk who decided he was entitled to the aisle seat. The flight was smooth and easy and best of all, it cost a fraction of what the BA price for a one-way from SFO to LHR cost."

Cons: "Unable to pre select seats because the arrangement makes you neither a full BA or Finnair customer. Food was just about edible and that was the better non vegetable option. The plane was old and the in in seat screens were old too, with poor resolution (no touch screen to illustrate the aging technology). Although the entertainment selection was relatively current the aging connection in the arm rest, coupled with cheap ear buds made for a poor listening experience."

Cons: "When I arrived to board my flight I was highly unsatisfied with the excessive charges I received for my luggage that was overweight (only by 7 pounds). I was not only charged an additional $100 for my second checked bag, but I was also charged $200 for the extra weight. As a college student traveling abroad for 6 months, I did not expect to be bombarded with these fees at the beginning of my journey. Due to this experience, I would like to have been notified ahead of time of the expected charges as it made me uneasy before a long flight."

Cons: "Plane left 3 1/2 hours late due to a mysterious mechanical problem that caused them to taxi it away from the gate more than once. Relatively little communication from American whose flight it was. Scheduled departure 10 PM. Actual departure 1:30 AM I reserved a center aisle seat in a row that was completely empty a day or two before departure, hoping to get the whole row. Didn't work out. Just before we closed the doors a couple arrived at the row and took up three of the seats. Darn it. But I still got a good nights sleep. Wish there was an option to check N/A on several of the options above. I didn't speak to a crew member. I didn't eat or drink anything. I never turned on the entertainment system."

Pros: "Crew, boarding, cleanliness of the plan, and all other aspects other than food were good/excellent."
Cons: "The vegetables in the meal / salad were still frozen….inedible. In the morning in the asian vegetarian meal it was simply fruit…that was it. No protein source. I have been on many BA flights and the food has not been this poor, so not sure if the carrier who services food source has changed."

Cons: "The temperature in the cabin wasn't great, being so hot it will only breed those germs. Food could be better, especially breakfast. I think they should bring the drinks around more often too."

Pros: "The configuration of the seats are really awkward. Seems very interesting at a glance, but not so nice when you have to sit in it for 10 hours. The business class seats are very narrow. I'm pretty petite so it was okay for me, but I think an average or bigger than average person would have a hard time turning at all while the seat is in lie flat position. I had a window seat which gives you more privacy as long as you have the divider up between you and the passenger next to you. You are really arm length away from each other though. And! You can't have the divider down the entire time because they serve your meals by passing it over to you across your neighbor through the divider. The divider is also required to be down during taxi, take off and landing. So, I'd imagine it to be very awkward if you're sitting next to a total stranger. You also have to straddle over someone's legs if you want to get out of your seat to the bathroom if you have window seats."

Cons: "I booked the finnair flight because it was direct and charged $60 for additional bags to check in. For me this was really important since I was moving countries so I needed to check in multiple bags. But since this was in partnership with British Airways, I was charged $90 instead of $30. This was not mentioned or made clear before I made my purchase, if i buy a finnair flight then I should be charged finnair prices on baggage. If not, this should have been made clear before hand so I could have weighed my flight options. I hope you are able to provide a resolution."

Cons: "When I got to Phl I missed my connection to London. No one seemed to care that I needed to be in England by the 18th. They kept retorting me to arrive in England on the 19th. I told them multiple times Id be flexible and go to any city in the UK just for them to get me there on the 18th. The First person I talked to said it was impossible. So I called again and talked to another person and all of a sudden it was possible. The worst part was they sent me to Boston after that I didn't get to Boston until 1:50 am and they did not compensate with hotel or anything while my flight to London was not until 8:00 am the next morning. So I spent the night in the airport. Oh and then when I finally got to London, my bag is lost and they told me I'd have it by tomorrow and I still do not have my bag and have called and they said they can't tell me anything."

Many people were still on their cell phones and laptops during the whole takeoff, despite multiple announcements. I would have kicked them off."

We have had better flight experiences."

They had several airlines mixed together and no signage to tell you where to go, so people ended up in the wrong place first. Knew there would be no food, so brought snacks, only to have the crew tell us there was a person who was allergic to peanuts on the flight and we were not allowed to open our snacks because they contained peanuts."

Cons: "The flight from Denver was delayed an hour. Our connecting flight in Iceland DID NOT WAIT for the seven of us. We were supposed to be in Geneva 3 hrs later but waited in iceland 7 hrs the sent to Frankfort Germany before being flown to Geneva 24 hrs after departing Denver. We had two toddlers with us. There were flights on other airlines available without delay, Icelandair had no compassion."

Pros: "The flight I was scheduled to take was delayed; I spoke to the agent and explained that I was travelling due to a medical emergency and really needed to get to my destination ASAP. They re-routed me on another airline, so I was able to get where I needed to be as soon as possible. I really appreciate IcelandAir taking such good care of me, great job! I would happily fly them in future."

Cons: "Depending on the seat you get (aisle, middle, or window) you either can or cannot fit anything under the seat in front of you. Each seat has different space. What I usually take wouldn't fit anywhere but the window. The middle seat space is USELESS as there is something installed that MAY give you about 6 inches from floor to it. The aisle seat's forward under space is a cube shape, so typical carry-ons won't fit there either. As I slept the whole way to Reykyavik, I don't know much about the service. The under seat space may lead me to not booking Icelandair again."

This was my 2nd flight with IceLand Air (Chicago to Rekjavik, Rekjavik to London) which is quite a long trip to go without being offered something."

We also appreciated being able to switch our connection flight fairly easily once we knew we would be delayed. The staff was very kind and since we had a longer layover in Keflavik, we were very grateful for the food vouchers to used in the airport while we waited."
Cons: "The airline wouldn't make a decision about whether or not the plane would be flying out on time or be delayed until about an hour before our original boarding time. Seeing as the airport and only road getting to the airport were closed, it seems like they would have been able to make that decision and alert all passengers much sooner. We kept calling in to check on the flight status and they said we would receive texts and emails with any changes, but I never did."

Pros: "Huge snowstorm in Denver caused the airport to shut down. Plane left about 5 hours late. We missed our connection and even though it wasn't Icelandic Air's fault they gave me a taxi, a room and three meals until I caught my connecting flight the next day. Amazing service."

Pros: "My flight was over four hours delayed and I appreciated that when I got to the airport and found that out, I didn’t have to ask for anything but was immediately greeted with a food voucher. I lost an entire days worth of vacation in Germany, so well I do feel the British Airways should have done better and should’ve compensated me better, the fact that they immediately took steps to make the situation better was greatly appreciated. That level of customer service was beyond any I’ve received with an American-based airline. Also, the crew on the plane was fantastic and a great choice of movies. I flew American on the way home and was shocked at the lack of customer service and rudeness, I will happily fly British Airways again and again."

It didn’t seem like the crew was paying too much attention to this. In general the crew was pleasant, but there didn’t appear to be much sincerity in the pleasantries."

Cons: "The delay was a bit of a bummer and it would have been nice to be compensated with more than a voucher that couldn't be used in LHR because it was in USD. I also would have liked to been told they were still planning on serving dinner despite the midnight departure; I fell asleep because they turned off the cabin lights and I assumed the meals had shifted, but instead I missed out of my dinner. Lastly, I am quite petite and still struggled with legroom."

Cons: "The flight was delayed by roughly 5 hours, causing us to miss our connection and have to wait for the next flight. We missed a half day in Rome and instead spent over 8 hours waiting in airports. The seats were also terribly worn and uncomfortable."

Cons: "This airline is one of the worst in Europe, for the simple reason of putting short-term profits ahead of decent treatment of the customer. My flight across the Atlantic was 4 hours late, and BA refused to put me on the next available to Prague, even though the lateness forced me to miss the BA flight I have been booked on. Their reason referred to a technicality in the booking procedure, but actually BA has put in place "policies" aimed at their financial advantage, over and above reasonable treatment of the customer. BA's refusal to rebook me cost me a lot of inconvenience (3 hours on the phone, for one thing) plus about $150 (I am taking another route to Prague); BA was then able to sell both my original seat and an extra seat on the next flight from Heathrow to Prague. I will never fly BA again in my life if I can help it."

Didn´t allow us enough time to get train, take bus, we had over 500 people lined up for bus, get through TSA, they pulled my suitcase for inspection, but didn´t look at it for 15 minutes until i called a supervisor as my connecting flight was leaving, and in fact, it had left as TSA does this purposefully and maliciously as it apparently happens all the time per ÇBritish Airways who had to reticket us. We had to return to A section another 20 minutes to be reticketed and luckily got on another flight to

Cons: "Our flight from Denver to London was canceled at the last minute last night. The information from your email and the number given from you notifying me of the cancellation only gave British Airway to contact for redress. It took over an hour on the phone to get another flight which was 2 days later with now 2 days less of our vacation. Not to mention the loss of 2 hotel room payments. Kayak was of no help in this matter. Plus our flight reservation prohibited us from getting our flight on another flight the next day. If I had known that I never would have used Kayak. I am extremely unhappy with how this was handled. I expect to be reimbursed for our lost Hotel room costs and the costs associated with lost tours from you. Please contact me with how you will go about doing this."

Cons: "narrow seats, no legroom, small entertainment screens, OK food (but they are British, so not much expectation), then no gangway off the plane, we had to wait a long time for the stairs, then everyone down the stairs onto a bus. staff was friendly enough, but once they fed us and one round of drinks, they were gone until they rushed us thru breakfast (no coffee refills). good thing the flight was cheap!"

Pros: "Food was delicious and out flight attendant was very helpful. Plane was quiet and the movie options were good."
Cons: "Plane was honestly very dirty. There was a ton of crumbs and gross stuff in th seat back pocket. Which I did not even use because I didn't want any of my things to touch. The overhead lights were covered in dust. So make sure you have some some type of cleaning wipes with you!! I do understand that I was flying economy, but that doesn't mean nothing should be cleaned."

Pros: "The crew was pleasant and the hot dinner and light breakfast were good."
Cons: "The seats were very cramped in economy. There was very little room to move in our seats, and the knees of the fellow behind me were against the back of my seat."

Pros: "Seats were comfortable and staff was very attentive as well as respectful of us when I was sleeping"
Cons: "There was condensation leaking from the ceiling of the cabin. A crew member said this was normal, would have been nice to know this ahead of time to reassure me that for a first-time overseas flier that this is normal."

Cons: "Uninterested service. Left my iPad on the flight. Realized where it was and went to BA customer desk. I had time to collect it, but when they looked at my ticket and saw I was a “world traveler “ they said all I could do was use MissingX to find it."

Cons: "My flight to London was pretty good,. Service was excellent.. But not my transfer to Madrid , I lost my conecttion. On London airport, I was sent back for the gate because I showed up early and they ask me to take care of the screen and wait for the gate #, when they showed the # , I went to the gate and was told my flight had left an hour ago and sent me back walking . I was wearing an orthopedic shoe, due to a toe fracture and i had to walk again all this long distance back to the terminal.!! British airway gave another flight and had to pay $279 dlls for a ticket to Madrid.2 hrs later. My flight was by Iberia and the service. was excelent. I wonder if the insurance , I bought initially will cover something of the $ 279 dlls ticket ? Fligth back to EUA was by AA and service was excellent"

Cons: "The seats on these flights are poor. As well as being narrow, there are bars on either side that dig in to your sides. My ongoing one hour domestic flight had more comfortable seats. Fod choice poor. Chicken Curry or Cheese/Tomato Lasagna. If I want a vegetarian meal I'll order one beforehand. Give me two meat options. This isn't the first time I've noticed this. Is it cost cutting? Seems like it to me. Not impressed."

Pros: "Crew was very nice."
Cons: "There are no air vents on these planes! 4 of the 4 international flights of 10+ hours each did not have individual air vents. The heat was unbearable. We were sweating the entire time. There are individual computers in each row taking up some of the seat B (middle seat) legroom. These blow hot air and heat up the plane even more. I have never been on a flight where there weren't vents and it is the #1 reason why I won't be flying British Airways again. The TV screens are also outdated. The selection is alright but the screens are blurry and have a grid burned in on them."

Cons: "Crew seemed to be "just getting through their day" simply going through the motions."

Pros: "Very little."
Cons: "Flight was delayed. The seats are uncomfortable and too small for even normal size male. Food was disgusting. Staff were very nice and helpful if asked. I think all the space and comfort were in buisiness and first class. Economy class is still paying for a ticket, make up most of the passengers and deserves better. Getting into a seat was like getting into a straight jacket."

Pros: "The food was better than expected and the crew did everything they could to keep us comfortable"
Cons: "That plane was so gross. The upholstery was stained and frayed. It was also insanely small. Holy cow!"

Cons: "Flight was delayed by 2 hours. Then they bumped us out of the seats we had reserved. Made it just in time for our connection. Then they bumped us from that flight. Others were given generous compensation for that bump. However we were given nothing. At least they us we could rest in the BA lounge because I am elderly and disabled and we would have a 9 hour wait. Got to the lounge and we were not listed in the system. So we were denied entrance. We will have have spent 2 nights on a plane and 36 hours instead of one night and 16 hours. Rotten way to depend your 50th anniversary."

Pros: "Just so comfortable and friendly. I'll fly them again next time!"
Cons: "Nothing."

Pros: "I loved the legroom in the emergency seat I had and the service was top notch. The food and food choices was also really nice and the wine served with dinner was great."
Cons: "Overall loved my emergency row seat the only negative for my particular seat was once the rest of my row was filled in and the 2 seats in front of me it made it impossible to get out of the seat and stand up unless I could had the person sitting in front of me get out of his seat."

Pros: "Nothing"
Cons: "Old plane, flight attendants boardering in rude, very poor food (!), de-plane via steps to the tarmac and at least 7 coaches at Heathrow (an aged 747, so it took nearly an hour!)"

Pros: "The food was elevated and we were fed twice on our 9 hour flight! The beverage service was also provided often with a good assortment. I loved that there were new release movies available for free. The staff was friendly and available. If I were to do another long flight like that, I would seek out British Airways."
Cons: "Nothing."

Pros: "Wine with dinner."
Cons: "No tv for 9hr flight. Breakfast was awful."

Cons: "We purchased upgrades to an exit row seat because my knee locks up when cooped up for that long. They changed the plane and I understand that happens but they denied our refund request with 7 days deadline to re-request. So now we have to spend valuable vacation time dealing with their incompetency"

Pros: "Really attentive crew! I wasn't feeling well towards the end of the flight, and a flight attendant made sure I was okay and gave me some water."
Cons: "Landing was a bit rough."
