Pros: "Not much"
Cons: "Same as above"
Pros: "Service and mannerism of the crew"
Cons: "There is not much"
Cons: "The planes are incredibly outdated. The flight was delayed due to maintenance issues and I see why! The life vests under the seat were falling down and sliding all around the floor. It was a mess."
Cons: "Took an extra 45 to deboard"
Pros: "Everything was good. Much better than some of your competitors. Good crew. Captain came on and talked to all the passengers. Thumbs up for that. Boarded on time, took off in time, landed a little early. I can’t complain."
Cons: "Some of the passengers. Can’t help that..."
Pros: "Jet Blue was fantastic. Every seat on the plane was the equivelant of Delta Comfort + without the hefty upgrade!"
Pros: "Ditto above"
Cons: "Did not receive text notice of a gate change. Walked all the way to original gate. Checked text later. There should be announcements regarding gate changes. Not everyone use text or may not be opportunity to check for a text."
Pros: "I liked the snack options and that the drinks were full size."

Pros: "Easy self check-in at BOS airport with self-service kiosks and bag drop with no lines."
Cons: "Flight was delayed but JetBlue did not make any announcement or give updates, reasons, or targets. Lots of sitting around with no information at all. Very frustrating!"
Pros: "Loved being able to watch the World Cup final match on the plane! Wish the plane continued letting us watch TV while folks were deplaning though. :) The pilot was funny - always a plus."
Cons: "One of the crew members, Bill, called me and the women in my row "sweetie" and "honey." While I assume he was trying to be Southernly cordial (I'm a southerner too), calling women you don't know these names in a professional a space is inappropriate. I also had wished there was either a USB port or a power outlet to recharge my devices."
Pros: "The smooth flight and landing."
Pros: "I was so comfortable and love the free movies!"
Pros: "Flight was fine, crew very nice and attentive."
Cons: "Baggage was said to be coming but then flight went off marquee after 30 minute wait. Ticket agent said “we had two planes come in at once so...sometimes marquee drops off after time. Really? That’s your excuse? Delta lands hundreds a day and luggage doesn’t take 45 min to arrive. Sorry I gate checked. Please Tighten that up Jet Blue! and send an agent to provide an update rather that leave people wondering what happens when their flight # goes away and no luggage. Pitiful."
Pros: "I am a nervous flyer but had no turbelance smooth ride friendly crew members"
Cons: "Everything was great"
Pros: "Jetblue service, cranberry juice and snacks (tried a different one this time - vegetable crispies)"
Cons: "No chocolates (at least couldn't see it in the offering )"
Pros: "Love the ample legroom in coach seating, and that I don’t feel like one of gazillion sardines in a can. Snack selection is awesome and free: ) Flight attendants were courteous Check-in staff at the departure gate was friendly and even shared a quip of humor!"
Pros: "Everyone was really nice ..."
Pros: "Very comfortable seats and legroom for economy. Pilot and crew were very friendly and helpful. Snacks are slightly better than the norm."
Pros: "one of the crew was excellent - he was friendly and helpful."
Cons: "the small non-interactive video screens"
Pros: "Jet Blue had the best price for my destination. Boarding went well. The seats were comfortable and the entertainment (tv movies, music) was good. The crew was friendly and helpful. And the pilot did a smooth landing."
Cons: "Had to use a kiosk after doing a mobile check in. The kiosk the kiosk malfunctioned and I had to go to a kiosk assistant ( a real person). There were a lot of travelers in line to get assistance after using the computer kiosk. That didn’t save any time."
Cons: "Bad, bad and the worst"
Pros: "Absolutely nothing"
Cons: "The flight was delayed over 2 hours. The pilot wasn’t there to fly the plane. No delay notice was given until after boarding time. AC on the plane didn’t work. This just to name a few things"
Cons: "Delayed departure after a long layover"
Pros: "All the staff members were very friendly and helful. The seating was very comfortable with lots of leg rom. Both flights were on-time and the in-flight service was very good!"
Pros: "We got there"
Cons: "Late departure Old seat back system Broken tray table"
Pros: "Stuck thirty minutes and counting. Landed. No gate"
Pros: "Good crew. Comfortable seating/leg room."
Pros: "Choice of healthy snacks, not run of the mill pretzel and peanut."
Pros: "Smooth flight on time and great staff!"
Cons: "All good!"
Pros: "Convenient flight times and prices"
Cons: "The cabin was overly warm and a little cramped"
"I like this aircraft. There is good entertainment choices and WiFi. The main dish was surprisingly good."
"Some of the crew members were not very friendly. AA gave us seats that were not next to each other despite the fact that we were traveling with a one year old baby. The flight went well overall but these small things were not easy to navigate."
"There was no entertainment and again, the seats were very cramped and uncomfortable."
Pros: "It was a nightmare. The reps were confusing and giving different answers"
Cons: "Everything could have been better I spoke to 4-5 AA reps/staff, they were horrible. Need lots of training."
Pros: "Yes and Yes"
Cons: "Nothing to complain about"
Cons: "We didn’t even have a pilot, had to call and find one because our pilot that was scheduled “forgot to call in sick”. We were already delayed by 4 hrs so this made it delayed by an hour more!"
Pros: "I managed to slip ahead a couple of rows into what I guess was a slightly upgraded seating area. This resulted in my flight being very nice. But had I not been able to pull off this minor theft, I think it would have been miserable. Sitting up straight, without the seat ahead of me reclined, my knees touched the back fo the seat in front of me. It felt like I was sitting at a table in a kindergarten classroom, not a chair meant for an adult. In the upgraded seat I was very comfortable. Staff on board was friendly and helpful throughout the flight."
Cons: "I haven't flown American Airlines in quite a while and one gets quite spoiled flying on Emirates or Qatar or Singapore or Norwegian or whatever other airlines. It's easy to forget how utterly mediocre AA is. The food isn't great, the air quality on the flight is terrible and leaves you feeling oily. They don't air-condition the plane until after everyone is boarded so the whole process is hot, sweaty, and unpleasant. Many of the staff are flat out rude to people (I was never on the receiving end, but I overheard what I considered very abrasive tones to others). And so on. Ideally I'd fly on other airlines I think."
Cons: "Except for Ginette , the rest of the crew weren’t courteous or polite. Couldn’t wait for you to complete your meal to clear up."
Pros: "Crew, clean toilets, quality of food/beverages served, punctuality (arrived early), entertainment"
Cons: "Cold temp/a bit cramped in economy, plane landing was rough!"
Cons: "The flight boarded twenty minutes late despite the plane being at the gate early scheduled departure. Baggage took another forty minutes to load. Then they decided there we were overweight (data that should be known before the cargo was loaded) and off loaded two people. Then after another delay they realised that off loading people meant off loading their baggagge, total delay nearly 2 hours The hedset socket on the entertainment system did not work The USB port did not work THey ran out of food after serving three rows, loaded four sandwiches, no wraps and 2 cheese plates for a full evening flight that was over 5 hours in duration including the delays."
Pros: "Good range of entertainment, comfortable seats."
Cons: "Some dinner choices had become unavailable by the time I ordered."
Pros: "Wide choice of films on the flight, boarding was hassle free."
Cons: "Crew could have been much politer when asking about the food wishes of others. Seemed to have no idea how to walk through the aisles, hitting my head and shoulders more than once while walking through."
Pros: "The boarding process and its ease"
Cons: "The Wi-Fi was not free and quite expensive. The space between seats was too narrow for my legs resulting in an uncomfortable journey. The entertainment was dated and not varied enough. The food was borderline unsavoury. The wines were cheap... Not an airline I would recommend to anyone."
Pros: "Plane was new and clean..good leg room."
Cons: "Being told to shut window blinds and spent most of the journey in darkness. No hot drinks. Long gaps between cold drinks. Staff not very friendly."
Cons: "The agent who informed us that our bags were delayed waited until no more bags came out before she tried to locate us. She had our names and waited until we approached her before speaking with us and getting the information. It has now been 24 hours and no one has contacted us yet. My sister and I were travelling together. She lives in Virginia and needs to get back to work. The website is not helpful. The phone is problematic. Earlier today your system was down and your agent told me to call back. Now no one picks up the phone. I have been on hold for 15 minutes. This was British airways."
Pros: "The plane was not busy so services took about 5 minutes, everyone had 2 seats minimum and generally quiet. Had it been busy, it would have been different in that seats were not very wide, aisles very small, if the seat in front reclines and you don't, you can't see your screen and not a lot of space in general."
Cons: "If you want to select your seat, be prepared to pay £175 per flight. This is ridiculous! Second meal was a very bare bbq beef pie or sweet potato pie... On their own with nothing else and it arrived 30 minutes before we landed so very rushed. On a 9.5hr flight the 2nd meal needed to be an actual meal and come sooner than it did."
Pros: "Arrived ahead of the scheduled time"
Cons: "Plane was less than half full yet the crew appeared pressured .... one crew member didn’t wait for me to complete my request and she brought me eat phones yet I wanted to ask for water to drink! Seats don’t recline much ...."
Cons: "Super tiny seats"
Pros: "Flight was comfortable and enjoyable. Entertainment was great lots of films to choose. Service by the flight crew was excellent"
Pros: "The fact that they re-booked without me having to contact customer service."
Cons: "The connecting flight was cancelled while boarding was in progress at the start of the journey."
Pros: "Asked a stewardess to turn the heat up and she did."
Cons: "Freezing cold air conditioning. Every person I could see was wrapped up in their blanket before we had even taken off."
Pros: "Great films and tasty food"
Cons: "Had to run to gate after two buses to reach correct terminal. Saw info that flight was closing. Held up at gate due to confusion with my boarding pass. Limited leg room on flight. End of flight huge queues at Dallas airport for security. After a long flight a passenger does not need to be corralled through excessively long winding lines."
Cons: "The food"
Cons: "Food and drinks could be better"
Pros: "Great crew"
Cons: "WiFi not working"
Pros: "Good space in premium"
Cons: "Female cabin crew were aggressive, discourteous and frankly rude to the passengers when they had to verbally communicate. I hear this so often with American cabin crew. When I started to experience this I became aware of the same trend in regard communications with other passengers. Very unattractive."
Cons: "It was very cold on the flight, even with the blankets we were given."
Pros: "The flight was quite emty and instead of packing everyone in the same area, we all had a row for ourselves which was very enjoyable. Flight crew was very nice"
Cons: "The interview by a British Airway agent before the flight. I have been to the USA many times and I totally understand this type of interview, but the agent was aggressive, asking questions that were totally irrelevant. She did not even care about why I was going to the USA or where I was staying. Se was rude and I was really unpleased by her attitude saying it was British Airways way off doing interviews. Again I have had many interviews before flying to the USA, never been a bad exerience before"
Pros: "The overall service x"
Cons: "Flight had a 4 hour delay - and an additional 2 hours on the landed plane before we were able to get off = massive 6 hour delay. Not cool!"
Cons: "This was a tiny aircraft from Charlotte to Savannah. Our bags were placed into "valet" for the flight. When I retrieved my bag, the handle was broken! Destroyed on a 1 hour flight. This is exactly why people don't like checking their bags. There is no care for other people's belongings. It's bag enough you're packed on these flights like sardines and then you have to worry about receiving your property back the way you gave it to them. Placed a claim, but meanwhile I had to purchase new luggage for my return trip."
Pros: "Boarding was good only because I skipped to the head of the line to get all the way to the back of the plane without having to wait in the aisles for others to get situated or hold anyone up (as no one was going further back than I). Staff was pleasant, did what they could with what they had. I was very happy that the back of the plane was not very full and I was able to lie down on the floor to nap for a couple of hours."
Cons: "Entertainment was miserable. Not much to look at on the screen and the sound quality was so miserable that I could not enjoy the decent classical selections. I was frustrated by the merry-go-round visual of our plane en route to our destination and wished I could have gotten the simple clear images that were being shown at the front of our cabin. I am sorry that the only vegetarian meal is Asian, as some Asian spices give me a belly ache."
Pros: "The seat was comfortable for such s long flight (~10 hrs). The selection of movies/television/music for personal use was exceptional. Being provided a lightweight blanket & small pillow a nice touch. Beverage service and a small unexpected VIP of ice cream a very nice surprise!"
Cons: "Didn't like being served dinner-type food (pasta & salad) late morning….but I shouldn't complain since it was a privilege yo be served a meal.Didn't like being told my window shade had to be closed I chose a window seat so I could look out the window and have natural light. It was daytime. As there was no one sitting next to me, I ultimately kept the shade partway open. I could tell the crew was irritated. Several hours later, a different FA came over and just shut my shade; I reopened it. What a stupid tug of war."
Pros: "Pasta good. Meatballs we're bad. Breakfast vegetable burrito was bad"
Cons: "Very bumpy ride for such a big plane. Don't know why we didn't fly higher to get over the turbulence"
Pros: "Entertainment was good"
Cons: "Flight was late, seats was small, all time something smelled so much."
Pros: "The complementary wine was nice. The raspberry sponge cake was nice. Nice options for entertainment."
Cons: "No one in the entire airport knew what flight I was talking about when I told them it was Iberia + flight number. People were saying I must have the wrong airport. I almost missed my flight because of this. Everything was through American airlines. It would have been nice to know this going in. Also it was tough doing transfers because once again, none of the departure screens refer to "Iberia flights." It was also tough to check-in. Instructions were not clear in terms of the booking number to use. The Iberia app had a lot of usability problems. The seats are too cramped. I'd have to take out a loan to be able to afford business class or 1st class. It's absolutely horrible for everyone in coach. Especially for long flights as this one. The food was subpar, but that is to be expected in my opinion. Would have been nice to offer complementary headphones. I wasn't able to utilize the entertainment because my headphones are blue tooth. Upon arrival, we had to sit on the tarmac for 20 minutes because there was another airplane in our spot."
Pros: "Because this flight was NOT full, my wife and I had the entire center section to stretch out. This made our 7.5 hour flight amazingly comfortable. The Airbus A300 was a reasonably new aircraft. Everything was clean and looked good. The food was exceptionally good. My wife and I both commented on how good the food was (my wife stated, "it was the best airplane food ever"). The main meal, the hotbox snack, and the late in flight chocolate ice cream were ALL good. The staff were great, friendly, service oriented, nice people."
Cons: "Navigating through Heathrow"
Pros: "The entertainment and food on the flight were excellent and the crew were kind and attentive."
Cons: "The only thing I didn't like was that there wasn't much legroom in the economy section. Another problem - which is probably related to Heathrow airport and outside of the crew's control - was that the staff at the airport rushed us tremendously during boarding, saying that the flight would close half an hour in advance. I had never seen boarding close that early and it was very frustrating, because the boarding then took a very long time, since they searched us for no reason, and our flight ended up taking off 30 minutes late! As passengers, we felt very rushed, it seems, for no reason."
Pros: "Having flown long haul with American numerous times, this time I was pleasantly surprised by several things. Firstly, the brand new plane with excellent in-seat entertainment choices, power points at every seat, more comfortable chairs with better head rests and even window dimmers vs. window shades, allowing you to look outside the whole flight. Secondly, the food was much improved...definitely better quality and tastier than typical airline food. And thirdly, better service from flight attendants who actually smiled. Keep up the good work. This represents a real step change."
Pros: "The cabin crew were friendly and apologetic for the chronic problems with the entertainment system. The pilot gave us a smooth flight and landing, and was very conscientious about turbulence prevention and safety."
Cons: "The inflight entertainment system was spotty. Some customers had monitors that worked, some did not. A woman with a two-year old had one of the malfunctioning monitors and was forced to entertain her child for nine hours without tv, movies or music. Similarly, on our flight over to London 10 days earlier, my husband and I were 2 of more than 30 passengers whose monitors never worked and we were forced to fly for 7 hours in the dark on an overnight flight staring at the backs of seats. It was miserable. The cabin crew told passengers they had begged the airline for years to replace the system but the airline refuses. Will not fly American Airlines transatlantic again."
Pros: "Great flight, Fantastic landing in Charlotte. l was pleased with everything on flight home."
Cons: "My 11am flight had engine problems, so at 1pm they asked if anyone wanted to leave and take the 2pm flight to Charlotte. About 30 people said yes, as I did too. After running across Heathrow to make flight, we got on plane and Waited....seems after running a Mile across the airport, they Decided to HOLD the Flight and have everyone from 11am flight take the 2pm flight to Charlotte. All the baggage had to be taken from 11am flight and brought to 2pm flight. Delay for take off was almost 2 HOURS!!! Instead of arriving in Charlotte at 3pm, we were Leaving at that time!!! Didn't get to Charlotte until almost 9pm. NO ONE on Flight from 11am was Happy about this."
Pros: "The meals were excellent -- well timed distribution of food throughout the flight. Attentive staff. Good choices for meals and beverages. I liked the fact that we got ice cream halfway through the flight also, that's not a very common thing! Entertainment system was very good -- lots of choices of things to watch/listen to! I was pleased to find that there were movies available that had been very recently released that I had been wanting to see!"
Cons: "Comfort was okay, my seat was on the end of a row with three seats (aisle side) and immediately behind me was a row with only two seats. Without fail, the flight attendants bumped their carts into my chair EVERY time they passed. If I had been trying to sleep, this would be much more of a disturbance to me. Seeing as I was just watching movies and enjoying the food, it wasn't that much of an issue. However, I think it would be easy for the flight attendants to just take a second longer to try to navigate around the chair and not bump it every time. Little things like that go a long way, especially on a long flight."
Pros: "Original depart for London was 3:15, but when I called from Praque and my friend called from NY we were both told that depart from London is 2:15 and arrival is at 5 instead at 6. It was a mess!"
Cons: "Original depart from London was at 3:15 and arrival in NY was at 6pm. But when my friend called from NY about the arrival he was told that the plane will arrive at 5. I was told the same when I called from Praque. I have to stress that we mentioned the right flight #. When I came to the gate (exhausted) we departed after 3pm as originally scheduled. It was a mess! Otherwise the service was good."
Pros: "The gentlemen from the wheelchair service who was there to pick us up when we arrived in Heathrow went above and beyond his duties. Instead of passing us over to another wheelchair attendant as we needed to switch terminals, he stayed with us thru the terminal change until we were on the airplane. We needed to get our boarding passes at Heathrow from a different airline and he helped us with this. Kudos to him!! The attendants on this flight were very helpful when my husband was having a diabetic reaction and I was vomiting form air motion sickness. We were a mess!! However the flight attendants were sure we had a wheelchair in Chicago and helped us with our bags as we were exiting the plane. Nice Job"
Pros: "The entertainment selection was prolific, with many many movies to choose from including recent releases. The staff provided plenty of beverages to help the time slide by nicely. The seats had both USB and 110V power outlets which was awesome. The entertainment systems work with regular iPhone headsets which was good."
Cons: "Couldn't get our meal preference selected, Iberia page for the flight check-in didn't work at all, getting a page not found error. Then after calling Iberia, and getting the AA confirmation managed to at least get into AAs web site for the flight, but now it was apparently too late to change our food option, and AA wouldn't work with us at all, the phone agent event LIED on the phone suggesting we could talk to customer service at the airport to have them provide an appropriate meal option. The customer service line was CORDONED OFF at LAX, and getting help out of their agents was like trying to get blood from a stone. The worst customer service experience I've ever had, even than Comcast. Then, I guess this ticket is economy minus, you have to pay more for seats that aren't at the total arse end of the plane. WTF. Economy means economy, not the back end of economy, but now you gotta pay to "upgrade" to regular economy. I can't imagine what that must have been like for families of four with children who are being extorted just so they can sit together. Then at the airport, despite having been assigned a gate, the plane came into a different gate, and we're just sitting there slowly wondering more and more why there aren't many people around. Finally we have to go ask another airlines' desk where our plane is at (it never had a correct gate assignment on the monitors) to figure out where we had to board. No announcement, no agent at the old gate to direct passengers to the correct place. Upon traveling to London on the red-eye, they proceeded to keep the plane completely dark the entire trip. No attempt to help passengers adjust to the destination time zone at all. Trying to open a window resulting in being curtly asked to close it. Jet lag on eastbound transatlantic is bad enough without the airline making it worse. On the return journey the line for the gate was around the corner AFTER boarding had started, and people couldn't board in any sort of order. My entertainment system crashed, when they finally came round with food, I could ask them to reset it. Having paid for the Wifi, which is fine, it's an add-on service, it was difficult to connect to, my phone really struggled to bring up the sign-in page, and I had to reboot my laptop three times, clearing my browser cache to get it to connect. The connection and payment screens were very slow, which was because the wifi overall was very slow. I am sitting on the plane waiting to hear from my father about his critical surgery with my phone dropping on and off the wifi due to slowness and extreme packet loss (>50%). I had been hoping to get some work done on the flight, so much for that idea, I couldn't maintain a solid VPN connection for more than 5 minutes at a time. I will never fly AA again unless they are the last option at a non-horrible price. This was an emergency trip as it was, and booked through Iberia; thanks for nothing Iberia."
Pros: "Staff and seats were excellent"
Cons: "21st century...time for Wi-Fi, especially for international flight; should be free to all passengers too. Food is mediocre; like cafeteria food."
Pros: "Friendly crew. That the seat next to me was empty allowing me to spead my 6'4" frame out a little."
Cons: "Seat back entertainment is not very responsive to touch control. Film tended to lock up and go blank. Took 15 minutes plus to reboot. I know it is only enetertainment, but I expect when I pay for a ticket that it should all be working correctly."
Pros: "The staff were amazing. Very accommodating and with great dispositions. Boarding was easy."
Cons: "For an international flight the seats were extremely tiny and the plane itself only had a few tv screens posted in the middle of the plane so everyone had to watch the same thing."
Cons: "One flight attendant in my section (23H), plonked food down on the tray with a curt, "passengers-are-a-nuisance" attitude. Her male colleague, when I asked about a spoon for the tub of ice cream said "It's there. If you can find it, you can eat it." I am a 71 yr old woman, and was shocked to be spoken to with such impertinence. Had I not already been travelling for16 hrs, having started the day in the Occupied Territories, I would have reported him to the senior person on board. I was just too tired."
