"Liked traveling with Virgin on the past. This time checking was an issue, meals sucked, we were missed when meals were served. Not a great experience. Will travel in two weeks to the UK but will fly with another carrier"

Pros: "My flight was canceled and Virgin Atlantic gave us a free room in the hotel Ramada. My next flight was at 18:55 and I asked Virgin Atlantic agent am I allowed to stay in the room until time for my flight comes, he confirmed yes and gave me breakfast, lunch, and dinner voucher. However, next day around 12 I got call from Front Desk that I have to leave my room right away because it's time to chack out and If I want to stay longer I have to pay. I called Virgin Atlantic agancy again and the agent run my information and said to me I can stayin the room longer. After that I called front desk to confirm that but they said they didn't hear anything from Virgin Atlantic and I have to leave the room by 1pm. All of this was really unpleasant!"

Cons: "Since it was a flight from Seoul, Korea to Seattle; it would've been nicer if all the movies had Korean subtitles-- my 4-yo boy who only speaks Korean, couldn't make it through more than 15 mins of a movie because he couldn't understand (of course, some of that is due to age & short attention-span). But he kept saying, "I hate English" in Korean while trying to pick a movie. Also, I'm 6'2"; so while it was nice having the whole row for my kids to lay down in-- I was cramped and uncomfortable the whole flight, even moreso with Delta's seats being closer together than on other international carriers I've flown."

What happened to free meals on international flights over 5hrs or so? One of the main restaurants was closing at 17:00 and had run out of some dishes at 15:30."

Cons: "When I booked this flight last March the booking info said 1 free bag. When we got to the airport we were told that we had to pay $94 Can per bag because we had Economy Light class. We had the same issue returning but the cost was $55 US. On top of that Iceland Air changed planes and bumped us from row 10 to 41 - the last row. Bizarrely there is no customer service desk at the Reykjavik Airport - they just give you a little card with the website for customer service. I don't understand how any airline does this! BTW, they blame the third party for the issues! That is you!!!"

The weather was perfect, but a number of flights were delayed for various reasons. People were lined up everywhere, there isn't enough gate space, people just fill the hallways. The cafeteria ran out of bread for sandwiches given so many people needed to eat during the delays. In the future, I will look to avoid IcelandicAir flights thru Reykjavik despite the attractive price. They haven't scaled the airport to handle the traffic they are bringing in."

Cons: "They do not provide any food or snacks at no charge. After a 4 hr flight, immediately onto a 6 hr flight with no food at all, it was a rough experience. The staff was not helpful. On board entertainment was not working for first 35-40 min of flight. Then we were kept for an hour and 40 minutes on the plane after landing with no explanation of why or what was going on. Even the flight attendant said it was like a bad joke."

When she left I figured out she had given The wrong thing that was 10 euro! What a waste of money! I was also moved from the front of the plane to the back when boarding."

Pros: "I liked the selection of movies, food and drinks, it is mid-November, but the featured Christmas platter and beer Jöla was a perfect ending to a lovely vacation. Food and drinks are for purchase of course, but a reasonable amount for the quality and quantity. Flight was inexpensive, but comfortable for the six-hour flight. I did not have to pay for the 3 movies I watched. Plenty of free juice, water, soft drinks, hot tea and coffee. Not to mention that Keflavik airport has lots of good foods and drinks, all tax-free. Definitely flying with Icelandair again, especially when you have 2 free checked bags and 1 carry-on bag, plus personal bag for my precious camera and tripod during a winter vacation, is absolutely essential!"

Cons: "They cancelled this ticket. I was unable to make a flight on the first ticket due to a business partner being ill (blood pressure issues). I then purchased a premium economy comfort ticket for the next day, also on IcelandAir, which was TWICE the cost of my original deal yet they would not honor my ticket. It really was quite disgusting and handled very badly. There was a medical situation that cost me far more than and then they would not honor my ticket to Manchester, so I had to fly WOWair to Bristol UK instead."

Cons: "Incredibly scary landing. Flight was in the air an hour and change longer than it was supposed to, pulled up 3 times at steep angles during landing. Not sure if I'll fly with them again unless I'm making a stopover in Iceland. Also, the gate at Reykjavik is an absolute mess. Four flights headed to the U.S all leaving within 10 minutes of each other were crammed into one corner, with no lane lines or anything to organize people. Was just a free-for-all. Totally clogged."

Cons: "The boarding process was chaotic it started late and then by allowing everyone to board at once it created a rush to the desk. People were not held to the one personal item and one carry on rule causing there to be a lack of space in the overhead compartments. The aircraft was out of date, the entertainment screens and charging ports in my whole row were broken."

Cons: "baggage delay due to? security breach at aircraft. 2 hours standing around, almost as long as the flight"

Cons: "Business class seats in Row 1 were AWFUL! No leg room and no foot rests. The most cramped and uncomfortable transatlantic flight we hsve ever taken. We had chosen tso seats in row 3 or 4 when we booked this flight months ago. But when we got our bosrding passes, our seats had been changed to row 1. We got off the plane in Reykjavik barely able to walk. The airport layout in Reykjavik where we changed planes was not well thought-out ... almost no signs,long lines. We thought ee would miss the flight to Stockholm. That flight was OK; we had better seats. But we were--and still are--so upset about the Chicago to Reykjavik flight that I will not fly again on Icelandic."

Cons: "When we boarded in Reykjavik al was fine until the pilot announced that the bag sorting machinery was malfunctioning. We were told we'd be delayed while 18 bags were found and sorted by hand. Then it was 14. And an hour later, we left. Apparently it was still five. That is how many of us were still waiting at the carousel when all the bags had come off. I suspect Iceland Air decided that was an acceptable number and sent us on knowing that they hadn't found all the bags. I did eventually get my bag... six days later and after quite a few unanswered messages. That is partly because Iceland subcontracts list bag service to a company called THS, which again subcontracts delivery to a company called APC. All of these appear allergic to caulking US numbers. Iceland Air for the win."

On July the flight was schedule for 9...pm then delayed for two hours because of a fire, other passengers said, in London. At around 11pm, we were asked to line up for boarding. We stayed on line for an hour and fnally to be told the flight was cancelled. We were treated less than animals by British Airway. No ACCOMODATION!!!!!!!! No ACCOMODATION!!!!!!! We slept on benches at the airport. To be fair to you, I will not recommend British Airway to anyone."

When we got to the disembarking area we had another long wait and the reason was due to the bridge not working,eventually we went out the back of the plane. The most unbelievable problem was the announcement just before take off that both rear toilets were out of action,since the flight was late this was an issue and I do not believe that both toilets could be broken more likely that there was no person available to clean them."

Pros: "Had to deboard onto the tarmac via a set of stairs as the connecting ramp was not working. A little difficult for me due to mobility issues. However, the crew voluntarily saw me struggling and took down my suitcase, very nice!"

Pros: "BA couldn't get our boarding passes to work no matter how many times they printed out new ones and we had to land into proper arrivals (though we were in transit in Heathrow) and tell five different groups of staff what was going on, even though it wasn't our problem but their computer glitch. One man at security was even rude to me, telling me not to just stand there. ( I had been told to stand there whilst they went and tried to remedy for the umpteenth time). When I showed him my disabled badge and said I would personally prefer NOT to be left standing for hours, he said 'so?'. It was a nightmare. It took hours and still wasn't sorted and in the end the immigration officers had to be called to the boarding area to allow us on the flight with non functioning boarding cards. It wasn't even our fault. REally upset about it."

Pros: "The staff are friendly and cheerful. No food or entertainment for the short donestic flight (as would be expected anywhere for a 50 min flight)"
Cons: "Boarding badly organised ... signs telling you where to queue are double sided and depending which side you see first direct you into the wrong lane... Left a bit late but arrived pretty much on time. Baggage didn't arrive after a 2 hour transfer and this is the third time in four times over the past few years. I strongly do not recommend BA as a domestic UK connection after an international arrival."

Pros: "Crew and check-in staff were welcoming. My wife walks with the aid of a stick and we were offered priority boarding at Gatwick without having to ask."
Cons: "Seats in the 777 were not that comfortable, in-flight entertainment system is showing its age and the food continues to be mediocre in Economy, at least it wasn't all spicy this time. Breakfast consisted solely of an uninspiring dry bagel and a crunchy bar. Taking to bringing food onto the plane with us as a substitute/supplement."

Pros: "Comfortable night, pleasant crew. The food was pretty good, and the flight attendants were attentive. I didn't have to ask for refills on drinks, etc. They also seem to get along well with each other, which makes for more relaxing trip."

Cons: "The drop down food trays were dirty and we had to ask an assistant to clean them. The light refreshments were served late - we were landing just as they were handing out the drinks."

I asked for water to cool myself down and ov waited about ten minutes to get it after hitting my help button multiple times. The flight attendants may have been overwhelmed with the requests as there were many just like me who struggled so they came off very rude. The plane was also not updated at all - not personal entertainment and once again, no ac/air for people to control."

"Didn’t travel because you changed my dates completely which was not suitable. Then you told me I couldn’t change them back or get a different flight, using lastminute.com. Then you wouldn’t give me full refund even though you were at fault! You then made me have to buy more flights and travel from a an airport over 300miles from my house. I will never use lastminute.com or TAP Portugal again. I still haven’t received my full refund. Disgusting!"

Cons: "2.5 hours in line to check in with the one agent working if you were not a gold whatever member. The same agent was at the gate taking tickets loading a single bus up at a time while everybody waited for the same bus to return to be reloaded. Ended up leaving an hour late due to being unable to load people on the plane, then a ground crew issue with loading bags extended the delay. No food service and voucher was given to cafeteria on exact opposite side and floor of airport. only reason we were able to use was because of the huge delays and problems trying to load the airplane. After the safety demonstration the flight attendants went to rear of plane and sat down in their jump seats for rest of flight. People were approaching them asking for water otherwise they ignored us. After landing stairs were used at rear of plane and door was opened. As we were two rows from the rear my girlfriend asked the male attendant 4 times if we were allowed to use the rear stairs as we were bus loading anyways, he never answered, looked at or acknowledged her speaking to him, he just stood at rear of the aisle ( 3.5 feet away) adjusting his tie and flattening his jacket sleeves. Was very awkward."
