Pros: "Crew excellent as always on BA, boarding fine, usual hassle getting to seats with other passengers blocking aisle,but when you choose to sit at the rear and the plane loads the forward seats first it's to be expected. Seats were very comfortable (much better than Virgin Airbus 330) and plenty of legroom. Food was better than on previous flights and drinks service was good - shame they ran out of wine, Bacardi and gin towards the end of the flight though! Liked the automated bag drop at Gatwick, much quicker and plenary of staff in case there were any issues."

I also saw some other people with British airways electronic boarding passes having similar problems."

Cons: "Firstly Kayak is apparently actually LastMinute.Com? BA flight was OK, but not much different from a low-cost airline. Return leg had to be Ryanair and online check-in didn't work (ouch! - you have to pay extra to check in at the airport). I eventually found out (after frantic googling) that Kayak auto-generates an email address for you as part of the Ryanair booking process, and this is the one you need. I spent about 30 mins getting through to LM.Com overseas helpdesk trying to get hold of it. I also had to request hold baggage as a separate process and it took 10 days to confirm this had been arranged (again, I would have had to pay extra at the airport)."

Pros: "Check in staff and Crew are brilliant. Always pleasant, friendly and helpful. Some aircraft are a little ‘tired’ and a few things don’t quite work as they should. For example my wife’s headphone socket was broken, and therefore no in flight entertainment. But we managed. It was reported to the crew and they immediately set about recording it for attention at next maintenance and changed our seats, so no complaints there. A few of the entertainment screens are scratched, and the controls faulty. But still usable with a little perseverance."

A simple sigh on the door was all it needed."

Also very few spaces left in zone Z even at 6 am!!! I only had hand luggage and I could not see any escalators so I had to wait for lift which was daft. As a result of this misinformation, my bag was put in the hold, delaying me a great deal on arrival in Lisbon. No apology was offered. When I asked for an explanation, he refused to give one and looked pleased that he had not done so. 2) Use of the rudest, clearly untrained and subcontracted ground staff I have ever met. Incredible performance by Menzies Aviation. When I tried to take my correctly sized bag to the cabin, a man about 40 years my junior accosted me. I tried to explain what had happened, and he interrupted me. When I said I would write to Caroline McCall (EasyJet CEO), he immediately told me to do so and arrogantly offered to give me his name. Yet he does not even work for EasyJet, but for Menzies. When I asked him not to tell me what to do, he replied that I was very rude. Yet at no time had I swore or raised my voice. He later repeated, gratuitously, this accusation, in a threatening manner. QUITE EXTRAORDINARY attitude to customer service, the idea that the customer is always right, etc. It appears that passengers are there to do Menzies a favour 3) Mangled English announcements over the intercom. Bored voice, running through information like a racing commentator, so one could not make any of it out. DISGRACEFUL CONDESCENSION TO PASSENGERS"

Cons: "Having fully boarded the plane, and with no prior indication at all, it was then announced that we wouldn't be leaving for another 2 1/2 hours because of an air traffic control strike in Italy. Instead of allowing us to stay in the terminal, we sat in tiny seats for longer than the flight itself was scheduled to be, with no offer of any refreshments. The pilot who made the announcement made it seem like a minor inconvenience and got the times wrong twice. Of course the strike isn't their fault but their handling of it couldn't have been worse."

Cons: "Very disappointed with Ryanair and lack of communication from kayak regarding the checking in process. This was our first time to Europe and we booked a last minute trip to Dublin. We arrived at the airport 3 hours in advance to check in and allow time for navigation. We waited in line for an hour only to know that we were either supposed to check in online or upstairs at the airport. We had 4 minutes to check in when we got to the front desk. Staff was incredibly useless and did not assist whatsoever. We had to logon the airport WiFi and watch the video then missed the checkin by 1 minute. This is absolutely unacceptable. We were then directed to another service department for a 55 pound charge each! Which was the same as our original flight. I did not receive any notification email to check in ahead of time. This was a very stressful time for my traveling partner and I and do not feel obliged to be paying the consequences given the circumstances. I am hoping kayak will honor us as loyal customers and reimburse us for these unforseeabke fees. This would be greatly appreciated. I can provide receipt and documentation if needed. Thanks"

In the end I resorted to simply missing it and booked elsewhere as there were no tickets available on either Ryanair or your site.Ryanair need to be more accommodating of people who need emergency contact."

Cons: "It appears that all the flights are late. We ended up over 2 hours late. This has been occurring more frequently."

Cons: "The lady at check in was rude. Also how she wanted to charge us 140 pounds because our luggage was over in kilos. So we removed everything to lower the amount only to bring the items onto the plane anyway. Then there was hardly any room in the over head compartments for everyone to put their things. very counter intuitive."

Cons: "self service kiosks were not working in airport and we were told it would cost 50 pounds each to print boarding pass. We followed directions to try to print on our own by paying for expensive internet service at the airport but still were unable to view & print boarding passes. After talking to several rather unhelpful reps, someone at the Sky Desk made an exception to allow us "free" boarding passes. This was just after 2 people were charge full price (50L each for passes & full price to check luggage, after they didn't get promised email to check bags online) Cheap fares doesn't make up for frustration"

Cons: "Boarding on the flight out did the Irish Rugby Scrum proud and on this Trip it was a STAMPEDE. Please readdress the boarding arrangements, Ever the Priority Boarders were overrun !!"

Cons: "£50 x2 charge for not being checked in We checked in 24hrs before hand but they said it wasn't on the system When we checked in we checked our bags in and choose our seats. Absolutely disgusting a £17 flight ended up over £200"

Pros: "I liked getting off the plane."
Cons: "Hidden fees after hidden fees... The lady at the check in counter said my bag was fine... At the gate they said it was to big and weighed too much. £50 Extra. I bought an exit row seat because I'm big guy. The seat belt didn't fit so I asked for an extension and the flight attendant got very snippy with me and said she would not give me an extension because ​of "safety reasons". (This has never been the case on any other airline I have flown.) She then very rudely said because of your rather large size we are going to have to move you to another seat where we can give you an extension. Like I said I know I'm a big guy but you don't have to so loud and rude about it. At least say it with a smile and some kindness... Wow. It was just uncomfortable and not a good feeling. Later when I got to sitting in my new seat, they came through with the convince cart (no free snacks or drinks, you pay for everything.) She nor the other attendent with her asked if we wanted and thing, if we were doing alright, nothing. Thank God it was only a 1.5 hour flight. So glad that experience is over."

Pros: "The price..."
Cons: "The flight was delayed for over 2 hours with little information to passengers about why/with new expected times. Boarding was a mess with people all of a sudden rushing towards the door. On board, the crew seemed very flustered and was constantly rushing around, unsure who ordered what, etc. At a minimum, I would expect free coffee and water and was surprised to find out that was not the case on this flight. Not a positive experience and will try not to fly Ryanair in the future, will also not recommend to friends."

Cons: "Landing in London and then again in Dublin was very harsh. :/ Also, be prepared to pay extra for every little thing, including having them print your boarding pass."

Pros: "On arriving at London, Gatwick, for our trip to Dublin, discovered that Ryanair wanted 105 pounds sterling for our luggage for the 3 of us. That was a surprise I did not appreciate as was not highlighted on their website when I made the reservations. Also, the lift to allow our daughter, in a wheelchair, access to the plane was broken and her Mom and I had to help her carefully and with a lot of effort up the plane 20 step ramp from the tarmac to the plane's rear door.
