Big delay due to unanounced gate for boarding. Systems at the airport were not giving the info. It took more than an hour to gather all passengers to the plane, which ended in 1hr 20 min delay.

That I was forced to check my baggage. I never received a chain ticket for my luggage. The flight has a 32 hour layover and KLM lost my luggage and it was not found until a week after my arrival back home. I still have not received my bag at this time. The boarding crew was manually tracking who boarded and who didn't. It was a cluster.

Of the multiple international airlines I recently flew with, I would have to say KLM was by far the best. Relaxing atmosphere, comfortable seating, great in-flight entertainment, although I have the go-go in-flight data/entertainment plan with t-mobile (highly recommended), the flight included a decent selection of movies, television programs, etc. The food far exceeded typical "airline quality," even for an international flight - and included a fabulous little snack box with locally sourced gourmet and specialty items such as chocolate from Belgium, fine cheeses from France, and crackers from England. Drinks = gratis, and crew was exceptionally attentive and went out of their way to make flight as pleasant as possible.

The very dirty plane was cleaned at Dar-es-salaam and became less dirty. The pilot kept us updated periodically through the flight. The flight attendants were very pleasant.

The plane was very dirty when we landed in Dar-es-salaam. The plane did get cleaned a little bit in Dar-es-salaam however I was still missing a pillow and blanket which I had to actively seek out. Seating was not very comfortable as there was a box attached to the leg of the seat in front of me, making it necessary to keep my feet at an uncomfortable angle through the long flight. I did not enjoy the food.

The plane was dirty, all seats did not have pillows and blankets. Seating was not very comfortable, particularly as there was a box attached to one of the legs of the seat in front of me, making it necessary to move my legs to an uncomfortable angle.

Boarding started 10-15 minutes before the announced boarding time and I did not hear an announcement for that. Seats are very uncomfortable, they have no lumbar support and my lower back still hurts from the three hours on the plane. 2 toilets for all economy class passengers are not enough - there was a line most of the time. Water for purchase???Are you kidding me? That was the worst surprise! What a shame, British Airways! Now you are one of the inhumane airlines! I will tell THE WORLD about that ridiculous fact! And not even extra small packages of snacks?! Now my favorite airline becomes Delta. There was no entertainment of any kind. There were no air vents above our seats (row 20 in that Airbus) and it got really hot before we were airborne.

I got a very good price on this flight attendants were very nice transfer between concourses was much faster than the BA flight magazine lead me to expect

the entertainment screen was fuzzy - visual images unclear on video audio selections were good though length of concourse was ridiculous and lining up for boarding was chaotic

We didn't crash.

Seat was exactly the same as coach. My vegan meal consisted of 2 tiny plates of fruit and a soggy, egg-free omelet with unflavored tofu and no salt. Disgusting. Staff was snobbish and full of it. No on-board entertainment, no wifi, no reading material except the magazine. Oh they did try to sell me duty free. AVOID.

Of the multiple international airlines I recently flew with, I would have to say KLM was by far the best. Relaxing atmosphere, comfortable seating, great in-flight entertainment, although I have the go-go in-flight data/entertainment plan with t-mobile (highly recommended), the flight included a decent selection of movies, television programs, etc. The food far exceeded typical "airline quality," even for an international flight - and included a fabulous little snack box with locally sourced gourmet and specialty items such as chocolate from Belgium, fine cheeses from France, and crackers from England. Drinks = gratis, and crew was exceptionally attentive and went out of their way to make flight as pleasant as possible.

That I was forced to check my baggage. I never received a chain ticket for my luggage. The flight has a 32 hour layover and KLM lost my luggage and it was not found until a week after my arrival back home. I still have not received my bag at this time. The boarding crew was manually tracking who boarded and who didn't. It was a cluster.

I really like the spaciousness, the plug ins and general service

I have a dairy allergy but had no option to prepurchase a dairy free meal. It made for a very unenjoyable flight as I couldn't eat anything they had. What was worse was after I told them of my situation they said they understood and had a meal that would do but there was cheese, yogurt, milk chocolate, etc.

Great entertainment and the food was better than the usual

Big negative was switching planes at Heathrow. Heathrow transfer services for people with their own wheelchairs was a horror. At one point we were put on a shuttle bus underscored with no body to help us when we disembarked . Once someone showed up they complained that they had to push wheelchair so far to gate which of course was the furthest distance away.

Upgraded to world traveler plus was way more comfortable. The flight crew were so so nice and helpful. I am handicapped and they just couldn't do enough to make me comfortable.

They the seats I reserved months ago were changed.

Boarding started 10-15 minutes before the announced boarding time and I did not hear an announcement for that. Seats are very uncomfortable, they have no lumbar support and my lower back still hurts from the three hours on the plane. 2 toilets for all economy class passengers are not enough - there was a line most of the time. Water for purchase???Are you kidding me? That was the worst surprise! What a shame, British Airways! Now you are one of the inhumane airlines! I will tell THE WORLD about that ridiculous fact! And not even extra small packages of snacks?! Now my favorite airline becomes Delta. There was no entertainment of any kind. There were no air vents above our seats (row 20 in that Airbus) and it got really hot before we were airborne.
