Cons: "A frightful flight due to the footstomping, loud, singing, annoying, intimdating andintoxicated English football fan onboard; who were heading from Istanbul to Ukraine for football finals between Liverpool and Madrid I believe. Their behavior made the trip the worst I have ever experienced. As I was seated in the business class section, I can only comment about what I saw and heard there. In that cabin, the cabin crew served alcohol to people that were clearly drunk, yet continued to provide more alcohol. The finale was when the rear section of the plane broke out in vulgar and loud football songs; being picked up by the drunken holigans in the business class section. At this point I was fearful for my physical safety knowing the history of footballers fueled by alcohol. In addition, had there been an onboard emergency, a planeful of drunk passengers would have added to the potential for disaster."

No Police to secure the area, so people rushed the line pushing us aside and jumped the queue, this happened repeatedly. I would advise people NOT to fly into this airport and expect to make your connecting flight, because it doesn't play out well at all. We were in line for 2 hours and witnessed people pushing, shoving, yelling at strangers and generally acting like animals. I found the whole experience highly disturbing."

The issue came when we tried to leave Athens the airlines then said that I had to purchase a one-way ticket! The ticket was almost $1,500.00 and I intend to get my money back but it was unfortunate that they had to charge me for it in the first place."

The on-flight entertainment system didn't work from FRA to IST The staff did not do a safety check (check if seat belts on all passengers, seats are in upright position) prior to the plane flying Overall I flew with them 4 times (2 way ticket, with connection flights) and all flights were late to depart and eventually arrive late."

Once settled in our seats, another 25 minutes went by when the plane did not move. No information's given. I asked a member of the cabin crew what was going on who said she didn't know anything. I then heard her ask (presumably the captain) on the intercom if he could make an announcement as 'passengers were enquiring' We were then informed that we would have a further delay of up to an hour. We eventually took off at 16.00, over two hours after scheduled time. Thank goodness, I had left plenty of time for my connecting train. I was equally unimpressed for different reasons with Jet2.com on the outward flight on 12 July. I will not be flying with them again."

The information they conveyed was clear and comprehensive and obviously, safety instructions are crucial, but the format and tone of delivery were so patronising I thought they were a parody. They also assumed everybody was coming back to the UK after their holiday - the flight had a good proportion of French passengers and some of us don't live in the UK. Make the announcements more neutral. I fly with a lot of no-frills lines, especially Ryanair and EasyJet as well as the larger carriers such as Air France, BA, SAS and Air Canada, but I have never come across such grating and irritating announcements. I will think twice before booking another flight with them rather than endure this again."

The website did not work well and it ended up booking 2 bags each and charging me for two each. That was odd because I booked and paid for my bags online the previous day while I was checking in.they said I had to write a letter to get back my extra baggage fees I was charged in error. I doubt I will ever see that money again."

"Due to the death of my uncle I was unable to take this flight. I called AA repeatedly for 4 hours to tell them I was unable to take flight. I was placed on hold and told I would be called by an agent. By the time the agent from American Airlines called it was 3 min before the flight was due to take off. The agent told me they could not help me and that I needed to contact Kayak regarding booking. I did this straight away but the Kayak agent could not get ahold of AA prior to the flight departing and my entire reservation was cancelled which cancelled my return journey ticket home from London to Los Angeles. The ticket cost $2400 and I tried for 17 days to remedy this issue with kayak."

There was another short delay finding a gate once we landed in Heathrow, then they lost my luggage and I've yet to receive it. Far and away the worst flight I've ever taken. Avoid BA if you can."

So for me it was walk 150 meters to wait for a wheelchair, be wheeled back to the airline's desk to check in, then go back the way you came to pass through security. (By the way, in the UK, you must remove all gels for a separate inspection, meaning toothpaste and shampoo, and they must be 100ml or less, or else you must check the bag.) After that rigmarole, you don't even go to the gate, because the flight doesn't have a gate assignment until about 35 minutes before departure. Then I had to climb stairs to get to the cabin. Shouldn't an airport in a market this large have jet bridges for every flight?"

Only when we called them back And asked for a belt did we get one, and all this whilst the aircraft was moving. Waited over 25 minutes for our buggy bag to come out the baggage belt in Dublin."

If we'd had to go in for a 3rd landing attempt, I'd probably have turned up for my meeting all covered in vomit as they don't even provide sick bags! Ryanair isn't just basic and cheap, they don't even do the basics properly. It's as though they're deliberately trying to make the experience as horrible as possible. Ryanair is dreadful. Never again!"

The safety breif was disorganised and they had to repeat it as the pilot interrupted... and the pilots announcements were very unclear, due to a lack of pronunciation of the words he was saying. If I was to offer a suggestion as to how this could be fixed, Inwould suggest that it has something to do with poor recruiting, low staff morale, or something similar"

When arriving at the airport it is clear Ryanair are removing staff to keep cost down with no care for passenger satisfaction, you check your bags in automatically which appears a scam for over weighing your cases and charging you without having to speak to you. It coat us £10 for being over a kilo, we didn't believe we were but paid it as we thought we had no choice because no staff were close by. A couple beside us were supposedly 3 kilos over and believed this to be incorrect, they kicked off enough of a fuss to be able to go check in face to face and not pay a single penny, doesn't quite seem fair? The final nail in the coffin was the fact that at 8.45 (our supposed departure time) we were stuck in a huge queue watching people get off the plane we were due to board. No delays or hold ups had been announced yet we should have been boarding at 8.15 and told to go to our gate as normal for this time. No plain in sight and when it arrives we can't go straight on as people are getting off it! All in all Ryanair have been awful so far and I am dreading our flight home!"
