Had to pay an extra €120 to check in my bag, because it wasn't mentioned in the confirmation that my ticket didn't come with checked-in luggage. Moreover, the food on the plane was terrible ... Thank god it was a relatively cheap ticket, but would never take this airline again though."

The crew were passimg the meal quickly and didn't pick up mine or some of the passengers garbage telling us to leave it in front of the seat."

Cons: "The boarding is very bad, you can not board 400 people in 15 minutes, the result will be, you will arrive one hour late! Also, Why the crew wear gloves when pick up left overs but not when serving the food? Really the crew training, it is very poor to sat the least. Arlindo."

Pros: "First flight on Air Europa biz class to AMS. Easy check in. Great lounge st Madrid with plenty of food/drinks. Leather seats with blocked middle seat. FAs were friendly and efficient. Landed ahead of time. Bags were first off. Great value with these services"

Cons: "My United flight was five hours delayed and I was going to miss my Air Europa flight. I called to see if I could switch flights but that was absolutely not an option and I had to buy a new one way ticket. I would’ve paid the difference, if there was one, but that wasn’t an option."

The quality of the food served was under normal standards. 2) Boarding of the aircraft was not well organized 3) Aircraft departure scheduled time shown on the screens differed from actual boarding pass printed time thus creating confusion."

Cons: "I am a skyteam member and have platinum status with delta and prior to leaving for my trip I had contacted air europa with my skymiles number and was told baggage was included. Upon arrival to airport my status was ignored and I was refused when asked to speak with a manager. I ended up having to pay 60 euros in baggage fees and then was not allowed to board as sky priority despite showing the airline my status."

Cons: "The boarding process in Europe isn't the same as in the United States. Handicap and small children are usually boarded first and routes are called in groups. In Europe all the passengers make a line and wait to board a plane. We stood in line for an hour! I only stood in lime because we have a toddler, stroller, Diaper bag, carry on, etc. Air Europa only requested that small children board the plane first on one of our flights. We flew on 3 fpr their planes this vacation."

Cons: "It was delayed, as normally, 45 mins this time. Awful experience going through security in CDG I would avoid that airport at all cost. Randomly making you wait luggage before security, with add extra 30 mins to the security processes, not sympathy of staff even if flight people may miss their flight."

Cons: "There was only one person initially checking people in. Then when there was a second person, she was going to make us move to the end of the other line after waiting 30 minutes. She did end up taking us, but it was only after conceding that."

Cons: "Older panes with no phone jack charging options. What's the use of Wifi if your battery runs low or dies. They have charging ports in Business Class. I don't remember the last time I was on a plane with at least phone charging ports."

Cons: "The flight coming in was delayed so we were too late to make our connection - although we were told repeatedly that we would make it and that our connection to NY would be held for us. We ran for catch our flight only to find out that it had already taken off. No one we spoke to in Madrid was helpful (in fact, they were rather dismissive) until we finally spoke to a rep at customer service who provided us with our new flight (the next day with another airline) and our hotel arrangements"

Cons: "The plane is big and modern but lacks entertainment alternatives. They offer an IPad for rent for 10Euros. Not good."

Pros: "The plane was a newer 787 Dreamliner. The interior was clean, the flight crew friendly and professional. The meals were a notch above average for airplane food. That means a lot when it is a nine and one half hour flight. A free glass of wine served with the meal was a nice bonus. Boarding and disembarking was as it is with all airlines, but the staff were very helpful. Each seat had it's own entertainment screen with games, music, movies and TV shows in many languages."
Cons: "I have no complaints. I would definitely fly Air Europa again if it is the 787, and a long flight."
