Delayed for 3 hours- little to no communication about this and staff moves in slow motion
Nothing, they could have made some accommodation for an awful experience. Me and my family were not informed properly we we separated. They took me off the original flight i booked. I booked our flight at one price and called me and told me they were not honoring my rate and they charged me double of what I paid. Me and my family don’t want to ever use your services again.
Better movie and tv selections. Also, the overnight flight to Trinidad from Toronto, the staff were not very attentive. I did not see them for at least half the fight. They were behind their curtain a lot of the time, and they did not check on us before landing to make sure all landing requirements were met.
I liked the extra leg room in Caribbean plus. Worth the extra money. The food could have been more balanced, there was no salad or veggies
The Flight itself was smooth and uneventful. The crew was polite and caring. I used the Lounge in Piarco and the service was STELLAR
Music would have been great and information about the flight. Meaning how high and the weather conditions.
I enjoyed the smooth flow and well coordinated boarding and the very courteous attitude from the cabin crew We look forward to flying with ya’ll again
The captain was great he made jokes and make thebflight very comfortable. Alerted us about the islands we flew over and Yolandra and her team took great care of us, very personable.
Wearing masks should be enforced in the lounge. There were a few patrons who just weren't wearing them even though it's mandatory in public places in Trinidad and Tobago. Other than that, it was a great experience.
The Wifi was not working. No screens and it was a very ancient plane
I was stuck in Miami for 24 hours! I waited in a line for 3 hours just for a hotel still at the airport. This was the worst experience I’ve ever had.
Quick flight. No time to stress over it. Over before it begins.
Boarding was atrocious. Completely unorganized bedlam. Could not understand the person announcing. The PA system sounded like Charlie Brown's parents.
American Airlines, the airline that you can depend on great customer service. Decent fares, friendly staff, great customer service
It was awful. My first flight was delayed and as a consequence I lost my second flight to Greensboro. I did not know what to do so I rebook myself a flight to Charlotte . It was very inconvenient I not to have anybody form corporate assisting me either from PwC or from kayak . It is a very disappointing experience that American did not wait 1 minute or told me to rebook before making the first flight
The departure and arrival was on time. The fact that I could load my boarding tickets on the American airlines app.
The flight was delayed significantly. Communication during the flight was abrupt and caused some panic as we were navigating turbulence. It was also too loud and every announcement felt startling. The flight attendants did not offer any assurances and I felt unsettled most of the flight. The seats, floor and tray table was very dirty. The seat next to me was broken and the passenger sitting there was very uncomfortable. He had a spring in his back and his seat made terrible squeaking noises through the flight.
My experience with American Airlines was great. Unfortunately my stroller was not located and has not been given to me and or reached out in return for in regard to information.
Check in was easy. Flights were smooth. Flight attendants were courteous and friendly.
The plane was large, not full, but one with 3 seats near each window and 4 in a row in the middle of the plane. There were screens on the backs of the seats for entertainment and information. To use the entertainment one needs ear plugs that physically plug into the screen. My husband had some he let me use as I only had blue tooth type. The stewards gave out some headphones to some, but when my neighbor asked for some, the steward said no. So maybe they ran out? Idk. Bring the old kind of headphones or earbuds if you want entertainment in case this is the type of entertainment offered. We had a very tight connection in Miami. 43 minutes. The other economy passengers allowed us to get ahead of them because I asked if we could since we were near boarding time for our next flight and 35 gates away. They were extremely kind. First class wasn’t going to allow us to pass through. We did make the next flight. Our baggage didn’t, but they were delivered to us the next day and we were prepared with essentials in our carry on packs.
