we were delayed by some half an hour because of what was said to be over-booking but the pilots however did well to make up the time meaning that we landed right at the scheduled time. Brilliant. We thought this over-booking business was a thing of the past.

The seats don't recline and are so cramped you can't possibly take a nap.
Flight on time
Checkin with speedy boarding very annoying. No clear markings for speedy boarding. Unclear where to stand in line, especially if you come later after speedy boarding started already. In flight the crew started relatively late with bistro service - loads of waiting time. Reserved seat in first row but could store luggage only far back, so the advantage of first row and first out completely disappeared
Cheap flight sounds great...except it’s not actually cheap. Once you add on charges for baggage, seats, water on board, etc., it’s about the price of a standard ticket on a quality airline. (Plus they didn’t actually reserve the seats I paid $20 for, even though I have the receipt). Amenities on board are atrocious. No Wifi, no in flight entertainment (except an iPad you can pay $25 for that features 10 movies from 1992), no USB ports...you even have to pay for water!!! My flight was delayed twice in one week causing me to miss my connecting flights both to my destination and back home by 5 minutes. Because they are not a member of an airline alliance, my only options were to wait until the next day and stay in a shared hotel room or rebook on another airline for $600 which they couldn’t guarantee I would be reimbursed for. The general apathy shown by the staff and lack of communication is abhorrent. The least they could do is apologize and help direct me to somewhere I could find more information. They were positively clueless! Spend a little extra and book on a respectable airline that values their customers...and maybe you won’t be out $1200 (in addition to the cost of the “cheap” tickets) like I am!!

We of course liked the cost and convenience of the Pittsburgh location.
When we missed our flight out of Paris due to a long wait at passport control, WOW customer service would not work with us. We did not ask for refunds or even hotel reimbursement we simply asked to be booked on the next days flight to Pittsburgh and WOW refused making us purchase new tickets for over $1000.
Boarding process for WOW is chaotic and disorganized- everyone boards at once with lines from two different directions.
