Get to the San Diego airport early. The security line will be long. Also, if you're flying Alaska Airlines and don't check in online, go to the Alaska Airlines "Agent Assit" counter first. Don't be like me and go to the Alaska Airlines "Bag Drop" line. That was a bit confusing. If you're flying Alaska Airlines.

San Diego is great airport at terminal 2. Not so great for Uber pick up past terminal 1 diversion When busy.

Make sure to pack 2-3 days of clothing in a carryon.

When you are told to sit and fasten your seat belt doesn’t mean you can get up and use the bathroom. So, please for the love of god, use the bathroom prior to boarding :)

Make sure you download your movies in advance and try not to bring more luggage than you need. And keep in mind that the gate at San Diego airport is terribly small.

Yes! Don’t reserve a flight with less than 1 1/2 hour connection time or you have a good possibility of missing your connection.

Be sure to read the signs, i have heard it's confusing for connecting flights if you don't follow the directions.

Boarding was in time, everything was well organized and clearly follows set policies, although carry-on sizing is not appealing, offering free check to allow for more cabinet space is good. Immigration process was smooth, overall a good experience and it recommended.

If veteran or active duty, make sure to stop by USO in terminal 2 (SD airport); right next door to Alaska departures.

Arrive early. May want to pay for the upgrade to a better seat. Early boarding is best.

I suggest packing a big snack bag and a large water bottle in case there are any issues with the flight causing a delay. When there are delays, no food is served, so you are stuck in a chair hungry and thirsty.

Airlines are becoming much stricter in limiting people to one carry-on bag and one personal item.

I always heard this was a terrible airline but I was happy to experience otherwise. The seats were more comfortable than delta. They did board late and gate was a little chaotic, which is to be expected for a budget airline. I would definitely do it again for that price.

I always heard this was a terrible airline but I was happy to experience otherwise. The seats were more comfortable than delta. They did board late and gate was a little chaotic, which is to be expected for a budget airline. I would definitely do it again for that price.

Very expensive for short flights. Can’t communicate with Alaska Air about passport issue at check-in. Also no replies to my text messages. Wanted to extend our vacation for two more days but this expensive flight ticket is called SAVER and I couldn’t make changes or cancel or get a credit even, so I paid another airline for the return trip. Extremely disappointed.

They canceled my flight then changed me $155 for the same flight the next day

Our flight time was drastically changed which caused us to lose a day of vacation

I like the new adjustable headrest. Unfortunately 2 crying children were in front of us. But it was the first time and not holding Alaska accountable for that. Alaska always seems to have everything in order professional but comfortable.

Very bad, terrible food and late by 2 hours. Then no to open aircraft doors

The plane was delayed a bit. It wasn't a huge problem though, as we were heading back home.

Flight was great. Boarding was crazy because another flight was boarding late next to ours so everyone was standing and in the way.

very good but no blankets for overnight flight or tv screens…

We were in 1st Class. Excellent service. Easy boarding. No too difficult to speak with someone on the phone. Breakfast was not eatable for me. No screen to watch movies. I don't have or want a tablet. This is first class there should be screens. Even if I had a tablet there was no place to put it. There is a place to put a tablet in economy. Seats were a bit lumpy.

Flight got delayed and it was very inconvenient . Had to come with another carrier. Had to spend one more night in San Francisco.

Everything was good for the price I paid. Crew was very nice.

The worst flight experience I've ever had. Our flight was delayed 14 whole hours because the flight crew never showed up. We had to wait in a two hour line to get our new boarding passes, we were told we had no other option but to fly at 10pm (we didn't depart until 11:45pm). Everyone had to contact their hotels and car rental places, workplaces, etc. since we lost an entire day's worth of travel. The crew showed up at 10:15, which was past the time we were supposed to board. They were laughing and being completely smug when they boarded, and they took another hour to board us onto our flight. The flight crew never came to check in on us, we were quickly given one drink and sandwich and they turned off the lights and were negligent the rest of the trip. My mom asked three attendants for a seat belt extender, they never brought one. I was dehydrated and never received another drink. They were very rude and unfriendly, we had been up since 4am the morning of our flight and didn't land in our destination until 2am the next day (5am local time). This was unacceptable service and treatment, these flights are not cheap and we were inconvenienced out of an entire day of travel. This was 100% avoidable and was the fault of Hawaiian Airlines, and their crews inability to show up to work on time.

Loved the leg room, usb charging, outlet, food, staff. The seats were very uncomfortable for some reason and made my buttocks ache and would have liked to be seated together from the time of purchasing tickets without having to pay extra.

I was put in seat 6B with no warning. Had no seat in front of me just sticks out in the aisle so I had to hold what I could and put the rest in a bin way further down.

Usually we have a pleasant trip on HA. Not this time! All stewards were unpleasant, rude, rushed, condescending. First step onto the plane, WE greeted the crew with an “Hello!”. They greeted us with a terse smile then ignored us. Not a good start. Even over the PA announcements, they were rushed and unpleasant. One Stewart even berated a passenger in front of us when all they asked is if the purchase cart had vodka to purchase. The steward said “LIKE WE SAID OVER THE PA, THIS ONLY HAS FOOD OR BEVERAGE!” Vodka is a beverage! It was a legitimate question. Not sure why she treated the passenger this way. Taking trash was even unpleasant, No “Thank you” or at least a smile. I work in CS. I know good CS can make or break your trip. There was absolutely no “aloha” on this trip. All clearly did not want to be on this plane and felt strongly that they did not want to provide a premium service to their clients. This might be our last HA and cancellation of my HA-MC if we are treated the same way going home. We are typically treated with kindness and warmth in the past with HA. This trip was unacceptable.

Overall it was a good flight, but the food should be looked at. No options. The seat was also uncomfortable and very tight.

I was unable to get a check im and get a boarding pass. I tried at the desk of the flight operator Alaska, was told to go to Hawaiian and almost had to go back to Alaskan. In the end inwas told to go thru security and directly to the gate without checking in. It would have been more helpful to have the details rather than walking all over the terminals trying to check in.

The middle name gave us so much issue at check in we had done middle names when booking but Hawaiian/Alaska don’t recognize the middle names and gave us problems at check in. We have never experienced that before.

I was booked thru Hawaiian Airlines (HA) on Kayak in February. I got 2 confirmation emails from Hawaiian Airlines in February. Even though the flight ticket informed me the flight was marketed thru HA and operated by Alaska Airlines (AA), I was never given any confirmation codes or anything from Kayak or AA to check into my flight online ahead of time. They also couldn't find the HA flight number I was given on their website and was told my flight did not exist unless I searched thru the AA website for flight details that was similar to the info HA gave me. The only way to check into my flight and make sure the flight still existed required me to get there 4 hours early. When I arrived at the airport, HA desk told me to go to AA desk. First AA desk redirected me to another desk, second AA desk told me to find someone with an iPad, and finally the iPad rep was able to help me. I also had to chat with AA reps online the night previous to my return trip because the same issue occurred.

Check in needed to be in person, not nice. Also I won’t do connections in Charlotte again because you need to go through security again and short connections become a problem

Iberia lost my bag, said they found it in another country, said they sent it to me, but never did. Went my whole trip without my stuff, but expecting it to show up because that’s what they said would happen. Their communication sucks, their website sucks, and to top it all off, their seats are small and uncomfortable. They’re bad at their jobs and they should feel bad about themselves. Do not even get me started on the flight home. AVOID!

I described my experience in the previous window. I didn't realize that there would be another opportunity for this flight. Please look at my response in the previous window.

Boarding was 2 1/2 late no explanation Captain said he did not know why, but he rested at home for an extra couple of hours. Food was edible, Nothing more.

I liked the comfort of the plane. It was unexpected from past experiences.

BEWARE!!! Iberia changes your seats at random. I paid for a window seat and they changed it to one in the middle aisle resting against the bathroom- can’t lean back + hear every flush. This on a 11 hour flight.. There were families that were broken up with separate seats all over the plane. Lots of upset passengers showing their seat confirmation to the besieged and helpless airline steward. Also, the gluten free meal was tasteless.

Chair is very high. Your feet cannot touch the ground for 8 hours flight. It was a nightmare. Food was bad.

ground crew and check-in was pathetic - insisted on charging me for luggage even though the ticket said it was already included. They also accidentally sent my luggage through without a luggage tag and had to retrieve it. Generally, it was like a bad movie.

Moved the flight an hour later, were not reliable about confirmation, website didn't work, no gate information, boarding was a mad house. Flight itself was fine and short. Organization needs work.

The app on phone and the online check in is not good, it would not give me the option of Spain or Madrid City in the drop down menu and I couldn't move forward with online check in.

My experience with British Airways is excellent, thanks for all 🫶🏻✈️

Old tired plane, Uncomfortable business class seat. Breakfast dreadful and meagre. At least flight was on time!

Safe arrival. Improvement on Time efficiency Effective Communication will be great.

The crew is very friendly and helpful. The food is good for airplane food. The flight is long and hard to sleep. The leg space is great. The plane arrived in plenty of time.

A good flight back to Tampa and thankfully although we had a 90 minute delay because of thunder storms from Charlotte to bottom iof Florida, it was a prudent to avoid these for a comfortable flight as opposed to being tossed around with turbulence.

They removed our booking without telling us. Cost us thousands to book last minute

Enjoyable flight, helpful crew everything was organized to accommodate passengers.

Captain sick. Unable to get replacement so delayed me 30 hours, many others delayed 54 hours. TOTALLY DESTROYED ALL MY PLANS, including lost my rental car which would now cost over 5 times what I paid so stuck with buses n trains... lost hotel reservations.... HORRIBLE!!!

The international flight from PHL to Lisbon was one of the worst I’ve experienced, ever. What was really disappointing was the entire experience of comfort and service in the coach cabin after takeoff. The food was inedible and the wine served with dinner was such low quality - it tasted of petrol. I couldn’t eat more than a bite or two of the chicken entree, being worried it would make me ill. The service took so long to reach the entire coach cabin, I ended up having the lights turned off on me as though I had to rush though dinner (though as I mentioned, it wasn’t as if I ate much - only the salad). Most of the attendants seemed generally annoyed and were not friendly or polite. While there was some turbulence, it wasn’t too uncomfortable and I know that is just a chance. The temperature of the cabin was so warm, even a friend a row or two up and on the other side of the plane felt like this. To top it all off, the seat was so uncomfortable and flattened/overused, I had back pains for DAYS afterward.

They’ve lost my bag and I have no way of really getting in touch with anyone and have received no updates.

Had a issue with catching flight due to airline, was unable to board flight

I liked how cheap it was but both my flights were delayed heavily

It was okay delay was long but I made it

I have never flown Spirit it was much better than anticipated!

Staff was very friendly. They attended to people nicely and reprimanded, in a professional way, to those who wouldn’t listen. AC wasn’t working on the flight waiting to depart in Burbank, so it was uncomfortable for a while since the flight was delayed but then better before take off.

Good on that leg. When I arrived in Detroit I had to wait over an hour for luggage.

First off, i received an e-mail to allow me to check in for our flight. I folllowed the link, when it came to the seat selection, I was unable to select any "free" seats ( meaning without any additional charge) because everything was " unavailable". My Husband and I were ttavelling with our 3 children hence, i wanted to be assured that we were all seated next to each other. I tried 3 times and everytime I click the selection it said " error loading". What the system wants is for me to buy the seats ( anywhere from $25 to $50 dollars each passenger) like I did on our flight bound to L.A. I called customer service and the guy was unhelpful all he kept repeating was to come really early at the airport and we will be assigned seats there. Imagine my anxiety!!! Spirit says they are a budget airline but they are actually the opposite!! And just before our flight, the flight attendant KEPT announcing/ selling the seats that were not purchased for a cheaper price!! Like it was a bidding/ bargaining game! This was our first and last time to fly Spirit.

The crew was very nice. I would like to see them offer basic refreshments just like a soda and pretzels, etc. for free.

Good experience except for the drunk woman who was with a child. Sad

Too many time late and postponed No electrical power for my electric devices
