Pros: "Crew was extremely friendly as expected from Cathay. The aircraft was substituted from the scheduled A350-800 to an A330 but it still had lie flat seats, just not as nice. The crew was very apologetic for the last minute schedule change."
Cons: "Nothing can be done about the aircraft swap, I’m happy they swapped with an aircraft with lie flat seats as I was exhausted and needed the rest before landing in HKG."

Cons: "The second security check before boarding had people jumping from their seat section to be checked, as the security staff weren't concerned about people's seating priority. It also seemed a couple of economy plus ladies sat in business class."
Pros: "We had a traumatic and abysmal experience for the trip. The flights were delayed, cancelled, wrongly rearranged and we had to run through the airports with no sleep, no food and no clear flight confirmations with minimal to no help from the Cathay Pacific staff."

Pros: "The seats were comfortable with enough leg room even in Economy class. I was late to go through security check-in, but the flight waited for me to board the flight. The on-flight entertainment was excellent."

They had me go to the airport 5 hours early to get a different flight cuz theirs was delayed then after not being able to make those flights carrying my 5 bags to 3 different terminals they said just go on their delayed flight and cuz they had over 80 people going on to Manila that they would hold the last flight there but when we landed we were informed going to a hotel and no compensation for it. I am extremely pissed off"

We purchased a Go First Pass for 10 Euros each so we could board first, but everyone was able to board at the same time so we wasted 20 Euros. The flight left ab out 15 minutes late and was not allowed to land at Healthrow so we had to circle Heathrow for about 45 minutes. This caused us to almost miss our flight from Heathrow to Atlanta.
It would be nice to have vegan options for meals. The entertainment was not working on the the way to Austria. It was only available near the end of flight to Canada. The service was excellent.
Flight was delayed by approx 1 hour. The boarding process and the flight itself were very good, slightly tight squeeze for my legs but overall happy.
Airmalta does not include meals in their flights and neither offers entertainment.

Seatbelt sign also sounds alarm constantly."
When it comes to basic economy class, British Airways is really in a class of its own. The seats are comfortable, the service is good, and the food is tasty. The entertainment system is also robust.

Cancelled last minute, I had to travel 13 hours by train at night
Pros: "There were major challenges on the day. 1. The French Air traffic officers were on strike. 2. A passenger became ill after boarding and had to be disembarked along with his luggage which had previously been loaded, 3. Another passenger became ill requiring paramedic attention while we waited for a lengthy period before getting permission to take off. All these contributed to delays for which the airline and crew had no responsibility. They did their best to keep us informed of progress but once we took off, much of the lost time was recovered in the air. The flight itself was fairly smooth and uneventful. Thank God."
