Shortly after take-off, our calm and comfortable more or less empty section of the aircraft was colonised by an extended family of Orthodox Jews in a kind of airborne West Bank situation. They weren’t in our section of the cabin at all to start with, and I don’t know why they were apparently able to get a free upgrade that I had to pay £100 for. We went from being in an almost empty cabin to being basically sat in the middle of an Orthodox Jewish kindergarten. It was awful! They were noisy, messy, were constantly getting in and out of their seats, the back of my seat kept getting kicked, and there was even a baby crawling around the aisle. We were surrounded. I have no idea whether this is characteristic of Orthodox Jewish family life, or just a completely inconsiderate family. They didn’t exactly ruin my flight, but they didn’t make it enjoyable either. I asked to be moved. The cabin crew were great and acknowledged the difficulty of the situation. My wife lost her window seat but at least we still had the legroom and peace and quiet."

The dinner selections ran out early, so a good proportion did not get their choice."

It caused A HUGE INCONVENIENCE for us since we are in Zambia for 6 weeks without our gear to paddle one of the most challenging rivers in the world... the Zambezi. We run a nonprofit called the Montana Kayak Academy which provides free whitewater instruction to youth between 8 &18 yrs old and we will be sure to tell everyone we know to NOT TRAVEL WITH EITHER VIRGIN ATLANTIC OR BRITISH AIRWAYS.... EVER!!! VERY DISAPPOINTED! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

The seating was a bit cramped, and the flight was full, but being up front made everything more pleasant. The landing process in Valencia went very well, and the metro to the town center was very efficient."

I would recommend going by boat before flying British Airways 772. The only time I would recommend flying any of the 772s from British Airways was if walking was your only other choice and even then a nice pair of trainers would probably be more comfortable."

Cons: "The staff was rude. Over heard gossiping about other travelers. At end of flight overhead announcement that our section of airplane using wrong bathrooms. It was rudely stated. Should have directed this instruction earlier in the flight. Very rude"

Cons: "Crew could have been much politer when asking about the food wishes of others. Seemed to have no idea how to walk through the aisles, hitting my head and shoulders more than once while walking through."

Cons: "After sitting on the plane for an hour they found a problem and so we had to deboard and wait for another plane. Obviously better than taking a less than optimum plane but added a lot of waiting time to an already long day. Not great that on a 6 hour flight we had to buy food."

Cons: "The Wi-Fi was not free and quite expensive. The space between seats was too narrow for my legs resulting in an uncomfortable journey. The entertainment was dated and not varied enough. The food was borderline unsavoury. The wines were cheap... Not an airline I would recommend to anyone."

Cons: "The DVD/ movies was having an issue.., couldn’t play.. I had to ask to have it reset a few times."

Pros: "The plane was not busy so services took about 5 minutes, everyone had 2 seats minimum and generally quiet. Had it been busy, it would have been different in that seats were not very wide, aisles very small, if the seat in front reclines and you don't, you can't see your screen and not a lot of space in general."
Cons: "If you want to select your seat, be prepared to pay £175 per flight. This is ridiculous! Second meal was a very bare bbq beef pie or sweet potato pie... On their own with nothing else and it arrived 30 minutes before we landed so very rushed. On a 9.5hr flight the 2nd meal needed to be an actual meal and come sooner than it did."

End of flight huge queues at Dallas airport for security. After a long flight a passenger does not need to be corralled through excessively long winding lines."

Pros: "I had a connection flight to JFK I came before the time about 15 min and crew saw me but she told me, sorry someone took your seats I lost around 4000$. This happened at Dallas airport."

Cons: "Female cabin crew were aggressive, discourteous and frankly rude to the passengers when they had to verbally communicate. I hear this so often with American cabin crew. When I started to experience this I became aware of the same trend in regard communications with other passengers. Very unattractive."

Cons: "I had already landed late from Budapest, and therefore missed my connecting flight to Raleigh, so I was put on a different flight to Raleigh via Philadelphia. Only, my new flight from London was delayed by one hour, causing me to land late in Philadelphia, and miss my new connecting flight to Raleigh. I was put on a different flight, but there was no seat for me, so I ended up being stuck at the airport overnight. All these in one day!"
