Cons: "The scrambled eggs for breakfast appeared to be powered eggs, or overcooked eggs. The storage bins for the luggage were very small for the middle seats (aircraft was an Airbus A330-200). After several hours of flying, there was trash in the aisles and on the toilet floor. The toilets were dirty and not cleaned. Finally, the toilets ran out of paper towels and tissues with 3 hours to go in the flight, and they were never refilled. The flight attendants put a roll of toilet paper next the sink to use for your hands."

Then, the delivery company (Direct Courier Services) Lufthansa uses was completely inept and unprofessional - every single one of their employees is a complete moron. We didn't end up getting our baggage for two and half days so we were wearing the same clothes that we left Germany with. Then, after being told by Lufthansa customer service to submit receipts for clothes we had to buy, never got reimbursed or even the courtesy of a reply. After flying Lufthansa for over a decade, will never use this airline again. Epic fail."

Cons: "Unreliable domestic Lufthansa flights (in Germany) connected to this international one, and the departure time history for this LH400 proved typical for this flight, which ultimately left nearly 2 hours late despite good local weather. An announcement cited technical difficulties with the originally scheduled plane. Several small groups we recognized from embarkation on this LH400 flight filed lost luggage claims, as we did. Uncharacteristically bad planning by LH on food choices left our rows near the front of Economy without a choice of meals: only pasta, tasty though it was, was available. The chicken option was gone. The flight status video program function did not work for anybody near us despite three equipment restarts by the crew."

Cons: "Flight from Munich to Charlotte: I do not fly that frequently (just only about 1 or 2 times per year - usually with Lufthansa) so I had no idea that as an Economy class passenger I cannot use the Business class bathroom. I admit my mistake for violating this etiquette. There was no line formed so I just used it, but as I was leaving the toilet a stewardess grabbed my arm and sternly made me aware of my trespassing. She was very professional and I believe it was not her intention; however, she made me feel very stupid for not realizing that the Business class toiled is for the Business class customers only. Don't get me wrong, if I paid premium for my fare I would probably expect less crowded toilets too. In my opinion, this unwritten rule should be made more explicit to the Economy class passengers, as nobody likes to feel embarrassed by mistakenly wandering into an exclusive club they don't belong to. I know there are separating curtains, but they were open. I saw a line forming in the Economy section so my next instinct was to go a different direction, which led me to the Business section. I really needed to use the bathroom, so I did not think of the proper etiquette at the moment."

Cons: "There was one crew member that spoiled The lot. When I had trouble with my bag fitting she wa no help. She in kinder words told me to figure it out. When I asked if there was a way to check it at the jet bridge she replied that I should have done it out there. To which I replied that they should have told me there was limited room. Needless to say I had to figure it out without any help from any crew. Which was crazy to me because on other flights I had more than one person taking my bag for me or trying it other places. Later the same woman was loudly accused of skipping a row of a dad trying to wrangle his children. When he confronted her she addresses him sharply and made him wait to get food though he had two young children with him. I'm sure skipping a row is easy to do especially if there is a lot Of activity but it didn't stop there another crew member began to bash the man while they were continuing to pass out food in front of other passengers and she did not stop him. I understand wanting your fellow crew members to know you are with them but it is completely unprofessional to do it in front of other passengers and needs to be saved for "closed" quarters. Worst and most unprofessional portion of my trip."

Cons: "Both when waiting in line to board and on the plane, the staff was acting like they were headmasters checking on passengers who had too much carryon. I understand that this is a problem for the airline but they should train their people to act in a friendly manner. There are different ways to say the same thing. Big turn-off at the beginning of the flight, which was an hour late due to weather conditions."

Upon landing, The skywalk was not functioning, and again he was very apologetic and kept us completely informed as they fix the situation.The plane was really old, and made some noises on take off that sounded scary. The pilot drove a smooth flight and we all arrived safely."

Despite flying to the US, attendants consistently only spoke German to me and my wife, did not speak on both German and English."

Cons: "Lack of communication. Lack of sympathy. Lack of knowledge. From the beginning, I wasn’t given the boarding pass to my connecting flight nor was I informed as to why. When I finally made it to my connecting flight with NO time to spare (very small window of approximately 45 minutes to make it to my connecting flight) my husband, my son and I were turned away from our flight due to over booking. The Eurowings manager guarantees we would be able to make another flight if we went to the ticket counter right away. At the ticket counter, (different airline) the ticket agent explained we’d have to transfer our booking over from Eurowings to the new airline. This left us NO time to make that flight the Eurowings manager guaranteed us we would make. We also waited 3 hours at the baggage claim office only for them to tell us they lost all our bags. Only 2 out of our 5 bags made it onto the flight and will be waiting at lost and found of our final destination and the other 3 bags are unknown of their whereabouts. The Eurowings ticket agent took ALL of our bags including my husbands and I carry ons, so we were left with no clothing and had to stay at the airport over night. This airline really sucks. We were never informed in advance of this over booking issue or I would have certainly made my own accommodations before hand. Will never fly Eurowings again. Definitely the worst airline I’ve traveled with. And I lost 5 bags in the process."

She would ask someone a question and obviously they can’t hear her because their watching a movie, so she would wave her hand in their face. Another time she was telling me “excuse me” in German while I was watching a movie. I thought she was speaking to someone else since I did not understand German and then she very rudely said “excuseee me”. The food was not filling and they charged for drinks. She also said I was only allowed one free drink of coffee. The second snack was a cake or cheese sandwhich. We were starving the entire flight we had to give in and pay for snacks on board. I’ll try to avoid eurowings from now on."
Pros: "The Lufstansa flight we ended up boarding to San Francisco for a connector to Las Vegas was a pretty good flight. The entertainment and food choices were excellent. As a matter of fact I ended up declining the last meal served because I was still full from the first meal and snack. The crew was friendly and professional. I really liked the bathroom waiting area on the lower deck, which was great place to stretch out and do a few exercises on a long flight."
Cons: "To begin with I should mention I am 6'1" and stocky, so the economy seat was a bit tight; my knees were against the back of the seat in front of me. The previous flight coming to Europe had more room between the seats. The biggest problem by far was that the Eurowings flight was delayed by 8 hours! The Lufstansa customer service at first handed us a sheet of paper with contact information for Eurowings, Once she found out that we booked the original flight through Air Canada, she was able to help us get another flight. The flight was routed through San Francisco, with a transfer to a United flight to Las Vegas. Unfortunately, the United flight has 'technical' issues that delayed it another three and a half hours! So, rather than getting home to Las Vegas at 4 p.m. on Thursday, we ended up getting home at 4 a.m. on Friday morning. We never were told why the original flight was delayed 8 hours!"

They notified me via an email in German (I don't even speak German, and I made my reservation on the English site, so I would think they would send me notifications in English as well.) I missed my connection in Dusseldorf because of the delay, but was able to rebook for free at the ticket counter and they gave me a €10 voucher for dinner as well."

After a further delay due to fog, the cockpit was opened and passengers allowed to show their children the cockpit. The crew were always very polite and welcoming and kept everyone in good spirits. During the flight we were kept informed of progress. The front seats were also a bonus."
