Bad check in experience. Dirty ancient aircraft. Truly awful food and this in Business/ First class.
Very friendly and helpful staff on board and United was excellent when I missed my onward flight due to the delay in London. Very well organised meant much less stress

The flight attendants were very rude, beyond comprehension. I took a business class from London to SFO for the first time on United. When I asked for a second piece of bread during dinner, the serving attendant threw a 3rd bread on my plate and said, “here. You can have this one too”! I couldn’t believe the rudeness of the attendant. Most all attendants were very rude, unhelpful, sing the food was absolutely disgusting. Never fly United internationally in business class. My flight back to SFO was a nightmare!!
My experience on this United Airlines flight was highly uncomfortable, primarily due to two issues: Cabin Temperature: The temperature on the Boeing 737 MAX 8 was unacceptably high, feeling consistently around 80 degrees throughout the flight. This made sleeping impossible and significantly detracted from the experience. Seating Arrangement: Being stuck in a middle seat for a six-and-a-half-hour overnight flight compounded the discomfort. Moving forward, I will always purchase a seat assignment to avoid this situation.
For both flights I requested a gluten free meal, they didn’t have one nor were there other options.
Our experience on United Airlines was extremely poor. The plane was extremely cold throughout our entire flight- which multiple people complained about- and we had to wait 2 hours to get a blanket which was too thin and barely helped warm us up. As well as this, none of the entertainment features were working so we had to sit through a roughly 10 hour flight with nothing to keep our attention, including the actual flight path screen. It was an extremely disappointing experience and I would hope that this gets fixed if we ever choose United Airlines again.
I had very little time to change planes originally in Denver after my flight from Omaha. I had an hour and a half layover in Denver originally and my flight leaving Omaha was delayed an hour because they had to change a tire, which I can understand. When I reached Denver my other flight was late, fortunately, but I still had only 10 minutes to run about a mile through the airport to get to my flight. Again, fortunately, I am a healthy 71-year-old and was able to accomplish this feat. However, the stress was more than necessary to bear.
Flight was delayed twice which made our arrival extremely late (actually into next day). Not an easy travel. But when we requested assistance for boarding we were really impressed with how they helped us! Strongly praise their assistance.

For boarding, after family with youngsters, you should have 65 and over. Whatever rules, enforce them. It’s frustrating for those who respect them to see aggressive people rush to the gate out of turn…
A snack would have been nice instead of having to buy food.

No food other than a tiny snack. The flight is too long for not having a more substantial food option, other than buying the overprices and mostly non-plant-based options from the menu.
It was a refreshing experience from the past few times I have travelled with Air Canada.

The crew is super friendly and helpful , boarding was quick and easy , the prices are too high for a an airline that doesn’t provide complementary meals or snacks for long flights
The flight crew was nice and courteous. The food was terrible. There are no in-flight entertainment services, the plane is outdated and dilapidated, and the flight is delayed. Both from Newark and Montreal. Too bad.
3 4 3 seats are cruel, the average person should be able to fit in the seats and this was not the case. I was at an angle for hours just to remain in my seat .
Someone sat in my seat and this made boarding protracted and unpleasant. The stewardesses kept saying, “it is important that everyone be seated — or we will be further delayed,” but for a long time they did not tell me where to sit. At the end of the flight a baby screamed loudly for several minutes and it took ninety minutes (!) to get through EU passport and customs. We had to stand the whole time in a an overheated room. The seat on the plane was narrow. These things are not all Lufthansa’s fault but they made for a somewhat unpleasant trip.
Everything about the flight was excellent except for the fact that we had to wait one hour on the tar app and then I had to race to catch my connecting flight with the next stop
The flight on time, flawless check in and boarding process, the crew was very friendly.
Generally OK. The very worst part was the food we were served (on a special diet) which the crew apologised for and said they took photos for there managers. This flight was using a code-share from Discovery Airways, so perhaps not Lufthansa's direct fault. The general food was far better but definitely not plentiful unlike some other airlines. Otherwise it was a nothing special experience unlike the superb time we had last year for a similar route on Cathay!
Flight map did not work. Crew was great, food was good, plane took off on time and landed early. That's all I can ask.
Paid for exit row at the back of the plane. Window seat with lots of leg space. Food was inedible (as usual). Brought my own.
Efficiency of staff, and comfort and cleanliness of aircraft was all great. Maybe a hot drink without payment at that time in the morning would be good!
The plane was late (as was my flight out from Birmingham the day before)
Boarding was slow to begin. Economy board should be accomplished from rear of plane to front, as the entrance doors are front of plane. This would eliminate waiting and passenger congestion on the plane. Meals were good however crew will not check if you want meal if sleeping, should be like Emirates and give seat tags wake for meals or do not disturb. Entertainment ok but screen headphone/jacks were distorted - took 3 sets of headphones to get working properly. Flight crew was amazing, exceptionally nice, professional, best Lufthansa crew I have experienced.
Really slow transfer after getting off the plane at Manchester, and lost luggage! Take the train, terrible experience on arrival
Because kayak scammed me with false advertisement saying 23kg was included but I ended up having to pay another £200
The flight was canceled and I was directed to Air France two days later than my plan departure day. This involve getting two more days of hotel and also not being able to get a boarding pass until I got to the Istanbul Air France boarding desk. It has been a troubling time.
I didn’t take that flight. My original flight was cancelled from Los Angeles. They rebooked me following day through Montreal My flight was LAX to YUL and YUL GVA
It makes no sense for several types of drinks to already be out of stock in the middle of the flight.
Pleasant and friendly staff. Comfortable aircraft. Speedy boarding. Took off on time. Arrived earlier than scheduled. Overall very enjoyable flight.
I have a walker I need it to get from the plane to customs and baggage claim. It had a huge orange tag on it saying it should be given to me as I got off the plane. It was not and the flight staff didn’t know where it was—both on my flight to London and on the return. In It was very frustrating
They forced me to check my wheel bag because there was a full flight. This was very frustrating. I went out of my way when planning my trip to not have to check any bags. Usually, they ask people if they are willing to check a bag they do not force people. This felt like bad planning on the part of the airline.
Had a plane! Have a plan! Have my luggage! 10 hours of travel turned into 50 hours. Good Lord!
Great flight, great crew, decent food. Premium Economy was very comfortable. I compare this flight to the one we took on BA from DC to London: Like a different airline. The food was atrocious, the crew aloof, and the cabin not as comfortable. Based on that first flight we said we'd avoid BA, but the return trip changed our minds.
I like the attention you gave us in Guatemala due to the loss of the flight coming to El Salvador. It was a nice experience. Thanks a lot
They should provide water to passengers who ask for it
6 hour flight and have to pay for everything 100 dollars to add a carry-on bag is insane
Very uncomfortable planes , poor service on the plane , take your own water so you don’t dehydrate , in a 6 hs flight they sold one time food and beverage . 1 plane was delayed 6 hs , I lost a connecting flight . Then in the way back they announce a delay of 2 hs so I had to take a different flight to arrive on time for my connecting flight . Avoid this airline .
They charged me $120 to check one bag and then charged me another $120 for a carryon. Ridiculous!
There was no food or drink service, couldn’t even get a glass of water for free. It was a long and expensive flight to not offer food or beverage on the plane.
Every food and beverage has to be paid and the seat was not confortable. They even gave water.
At least free water in all flights Beverages are desired in international flights Luggage damages need be refund!

50% of flights book with Avanca have issues either reschedualed cancelled and their actions further supports their poorly managed airline do not use them only if there is no other options
