The connection time is too short to pass through customs and once you do clear customs the connecting flight is in another terminal that is not close.

They charged me $120 to check one bag and then charged me another $120 for a carryon. Ridiculous!

Horrible. I have been trying to speak to a representative to know why I was over charged but I get redirected to AI Vianca everytime with no results. Is there an agency that oversees airline gouging? I will never fly or recommend Avianca to anyone not that you care.

I was surprised that they didn’t offer drinks at least even though it was an international flight.
Kiwi is the worst, I couldn’t flight for work, Kiwi kept 100% of my money (they didn’t even return the taxes) I will not buy with kiwi again
Avíanca now has cero entertainment, food and even water for their travels in economy. We spend all 6 or more hours ignored or we are offered products to buy using only credit card .
The airline doesn’t provide nothing To their customers. No water , no food , no any drinks, no any kind of entertainment for free or at least paid with money cash currency . They sell some basic goods only credit card . Shame for an old international long distance trip. Never again .
$120 for a carry on bag !!!!!! Insane. Back-breaking seats. Do not recline. Food service is a disgrace. They give only water and a salty snack. Everything else has a price.
The crew on this flight was probably the worst I have ever come across. This applies particularly to Karen and Lee (possibly Jason) - the short, overweight pompous guy - arrogant and rude are possibly too kind a description. This Lee/Jason obviously failed his exams at Charm School, and frankly, in my view, needs to be dismissed immediately. Karen was similar to the guy in attitude, but not quite as rude.
Terrible. Boarding was a mess. We were assigned middle seats and separate just to induce us to pay for better seats. Cabin luggage was checked in while space remained on the overboard lockers. I think they don't really care about the customer.
I was not aware there was a $100 bag fee per bag. Not on the way there and I booked round trip.
It was cancelled. And they had terrible customer service to rebook. Then our rebooked flight was cancelled
I had an 11.5 layover and the flight was delayed to 12 hours. I visited Turkish Air to see if it was possible to receive a voucher for a hotel or even shower, nothing. I cried. My son and I are traveling alone and I felt the airline should have shown some sympathy, at least to shower. I cannot sleep during flights and felt like I would pass out anytime. It was a very real problem. Next time I will fly with an airline that shows more sympathy towards their passengers.
The food was horrible. The crew skipped over me for drinks(only got food?). I had to wait until everyone else was served drinks in order to receive mine(meal was done). No earphones were given. No free WiFi.
The economy seats had space unlike Iberia Airlines from NY to Barcelona.

Same comment as before for the luggage. And the gluten free breakfast burrito made my husband sick....
